K Bhagat Tarachand is not just a restaurant it is a tradition that began in 1895 which kept fresh and alive through over hundred pure vegetarian dishes. There is a story behind this place which started almost one twenty three years back when late shree Tarachand Chawla Launch an eatery in Karachi. His magnetic personality, generosity and goodwill combined with his humble homely and delicious food earned him the title of ‘Bhagat’, given to him by his patrons. K Bhagat Tarachand was first brought to Zavari bazaar in Mumbai where they began to serving people the delectable food they had come to be so fond of once again. This place is located near very famous area in Mumbai which is Nariman Point, K Bhagat Tarachand today has six restaurants all over Mumbai out of which one is located at CR2 Nariman Point. I visited this place with one of my friend for my dinner. As this place is located inside a mall so the place is not visible from outside but CR2 Mall is famous in that area there is also parking facility available so you don’t have to worry about parking whenever you are coming to this place. This place is located at the first floor of the mall and in the same mall there is a multiplex cinema as well so if you want you can enjoy your food before or after Movie. As you go to the first floor of the mall you will see a place called Eleven Kitchens where there is eleven different restaurants and cafes at the same place and K Bhagat Tarachand is one of them this place Eleven Kitchens have a big dining area for the eleven cafes and restaurant I love the ambience over all great experience as went to this place we got our table soon. This place serves best quality food. But there is no on table service this place offers self service so you have to order your food and will have the grab them from the counter. The food service was fast and quick it was prepared within no time overall had a great dinner at this place. Coming to the food we had. WHAT WE HAD CHAAT 1) Pani Puri This was good at it taste it was the way it should be taste was good the pani was cold it was perfect. 2) Dhai Batata Puri This was having lots of dhai in it. It was yummy puri was crispy and I love the amount of dhai they put. FAST FOOD 3) Pav Bhaji (Amul Butter) This pav bhaji was loaded with butter on top taste was just amazing served with 2 pav lemon and onion. 4) Chole Bhature The size of the bhature was big it was perfectly made and the chole was garnished with green chilli must try this whenever you visit this place. DESSERT 5) Gulab Jamun This was something out of the box I love the softness of the gulab jamun and the taste was magnificent never miss this when you visit this place. Over all great food experience would love to visit this place again. Each dish at this place is an authentic taste of Sindh and Punjab with dash of modernity! . Coming to the price range PRICE CHAAT 1) Pani Puri = Rs48/- 2) Dhai Batata Puri = Rs86/- FAST FOOD 3) Pav Bhaji (Amul Butter) = Rs153 4) Chole Bhature = Rs200/- DESSERT 5) Gulab Jamun = Rs86/- Overall value for money place must give this place a try.
