The service was average and the staff were nice but shy. The food quality is ok but it's not matched to the price, I think it's expensive. We ordered Koobideh (4.1 out of 5) Sultani (3.9 out of 5) Also the fingee balava was good enough to get a 4.6 out of 5. The menu is changed and you need to see the new menu wich doesn't have all the items in the menu uploade in gpogle map.

This was our 5th meal at Sabalan and they have managed to maintain the same food quality, taste and service. The most authentic place for Persian food the koobeh kebabs, the 1 meter long kebabs are simply delicious. But you just cannot leave without having the most amazing dessert here- the baklava ( order in advance) as it’s mostly sold out! Highly recommended place for a big gathering too

Great dining place in town with authentic taste of Persian food. With cosy sheehsa lounge on the first floor for the sheesha lovers. Must try -1 meter Koobideh kabab. Good enought for a group of 5-7. Can't miss- baklava with Ice-cream a yummy closure to your meal. If you are a Persian food lover or love trying new cuisine this place should be in your list.

Sabalan gives an excellent dining experience. We had been there for lunch on Valentine's Day. The unique 1 meter and 1.5 meter long Koobideh (Mutton) and Joojeh (Chicken) Kebab Combo which is meant for 6 or 9 persons (depending on the length of the kebab) is awesome. It includes soup, a platter of the kebab with rice / nan, with some french fries, vegetables, and is followed by dessert. The Bakalava with ice cream is simply devine. Zolbiya (Iranian Jalebi with honey & saffaron) is crisp and excellent. Fresh cream pasties, especially the swiss roll is good. The sumptuous meal can be washed down with tasty Iranian tea served in the most dainty cup with a unique lolypop caramel sugar. The seating is comfortable, the decor good, music is soothing and the washrooms are clean. Service is excellent, and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. Last but not the least, the owners take a personal interest in the working of the restaurant to ensure that good care is taken of the patrons, I would recommend this restaurant as a must for non-veg food lovers.

Sabalan - The Taste of Persia Stepping into Sabalan is like stepping into the heart of Persia itself. This authentic Persian restaurant not only boasts a faultless ambience but also seamlessly captures the essence of Persian character and atmosphere, providing a truly immersive experience. The culinary journey offered here is nothing short of exceptional. The service, marked by excellence, adds a layer of finesse to the dining experience. During our visit, we opted for the colossal KEBAB, a dish that promises a gastronomic adventure. Accompanied by an array of rice varieties and strategically placed vegetables, it was a hearty indulgence. The authenticity of the tea, coupled with sugar imported straight from Persia in a stick, adds a delightful touch to the dining experience. Sabalan's pièce de resistance is the 1.5-meter feast, a comprehensive meal featuring desserts, a soup to start, and the star of the show – the 1.5-meter Seekh. Presented on a single tray alongside roti, rice, vegetables, and garnished french fries, it's an ideal choice for a group gathering. The concept of serving an entire meal in one ensemble is both innovative and practical. The restaurant's ambiance is enhanced by comfortable seating, tasteful decor, and soothing background music. The cleanliness of the washrooms reflects the establishment's commitment to hygiene. The staff's exceptional service goes beyond expectations, with a personal touch that makes patrons feel truly valued. A notable aspect is the direct involvement of the owners in overseeing the restaurant's operations, ensuring the utmost care for patrons. This personal interest is a testament to their commitment to providing a top-notch dining experience. In conclusion, Sabalan - The Taste of Persia is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Persian culinary experience. Whether you opt for the colossal KEBAB or indulge in the 1.5-meter feast, the flavors and presentation are sure to leave a lasting impression. For non-vegetarian food enthusiasts, this restaurant is a gem that should not be missed. The confluence of Persian authenticity, impeccable service, and delectable dishes makes Sabalan a standout destination for culinary exploration.

Ambience - softly lit,Perfect for having sheesha. Insta pic worthy decor (current hype 🤪) I like the "Wall Of Hookah" set up. The semi circle seating arrangement is comfortable but the 4 seater coffee table seating is an ache. Food is fine if you interested in trying some persian delicacies. Would recommend to try their baklava, zolbiya and iranian tea. Looks good (status par acha lagega 😉) and tastes even better. Con : The staff serving sheesha is so lackadaisical in replacing the coal over sheesha in a timely manner. Maza kharab hojata hai cause flow chahiye bhai 🙃.

Have been following Sabalan on Instagram since it opened. Finally was able to experience it. Throughly enjoyed the Persian kebabs, baklava with a twist and Persian tea at the end of our meal. Great service and delicious food. We had a little trouble finding the restaurant but they were able to guide us on the phone and even met us on the road to show us the way. Thank you for a lovely evening

One of the few places in mumbai where you can properly chill with your friends. The place has a good vibe, friendly management! Good service. The place belongs to my friend and yet it's extremely unlucky for me. I've had 2 breakups here 🥲 lost a girlfriend and a fiance here!
