Charlie and the chocolate factory feels.. Great ambience, cozy feeling place, very thoughtful interiors.. Got a tour of the place by Pravin, who explained the idea behind the place and got to see how mawa and barks are made.. We get some complimentary sweets to taste before we can decide what to buy.. Loved the place..

BSS is extraordinary!! We were introduced to the store thru an equally amazing 5 Senses Tour. We HAD to go back!! The service and the sweets were OFF THE CHARTS!! We even brought our Uber driver in to treat him to their delicious ice cream!!

This place is really cute and cozy! While the area outside is not something that i would call "WOW" but the place definitely is!!! Offering a variety of sweets and snacks (trust me these fusions are seriously unheard of). Not many jain options available though! (only avocado papdi chat is available in jain and a few other sweets) One thing is for sure... this place is unmissable!!

Their efforts of making Indian mithai international is just awesome! Fabulous place with super high hygienic standards. Here at BSS Indian sweets are prepared with a unique twist. Use of high quality ingredients & precision in preparation leads to delectable mithai's. They have a classic savoury section too. Here also some traditional farsan dishes are served with an international twist. I recently attended their #MagicalMithaiTour which was an experience itself. They show around the place, explain why BSS was started. Detailed tour of the clean & swanky kitchen. They even give us hands on experience on preparing mithai like the classic boondi laddoo & piping out hot hot jalebis. Their fresh pea katchoris were lip smacking. We also relished the jalebis with rabdi. Recently I ordered the #MangoShahiBuns, which were so wow. They are surely a big competition to the typical #Doughnuts. Huge soft in-house buns, deep fried in ghee, stuffed to the brim with mango custard & again layered on top with mango malai. Dessert lovers don't miss this. Their #Ghevar is out of this world. I've had the strawberry ghewar which was just wow. Will surely be visiting #BSS soon and I'm regular in ordering their stuff via zomato.

The fudge! oh…! Nothing like it. The classic fudge is the ever best that I have ever had, nothing can beat them. Also tasted seasonal sweets which are good. Pricing is decent but worth it for fudge.

Beautiful little spot w the best Bombay sweets and snacks! They also serve great ice cream. Staff are super helpful, friendly and patient! They offer a range of nostalgic and contemporary India / Mumbai sweets. These are great gifts when going abroad - on top of being delicious the packaging is also very beautiful.

It’s a whimsical place worth a visit and if you have a sweet tooth, the desserts are worth trying! The area where this place is located has got its own history and charm; definitely a treat for anyone who loves the Old Bombay Charm.

The Bombay Sweet Shop is a sweet shop with a modern twist more accessible and fun. This latest venture from Hunger Inc Hospitality, which is co-owned by Yash Bhanage and Sameer Seth, and Chef Floyd Cardoz has a huge legacy from The Bombay Canteen annd O Pedro to live up too. aims to recreate the magic of Indian mithai in a way that’s familiar, The is no ordinary mithai shop. It is literally a huge Mithai factory, divided into a Mithai Bar, having a gifting counter, and a café serving healthy street snacks. and different stations for hot and cold sweets with an open kitchen. The Kulcha Margherita was the best dish of the lot in both texture and taste. It was topped by a charred tomato bharta adding to the flavor of the dish. We also ordered the Avocado Paapdi Chaat was a bit too tangy with no taste of avocado, a best to give this dish a miss. The Moradabadi Dal Chaat was definitely an interesting dish which could fill you up. You can go much wrong with Masala Fries and it lived up to its standard. The hot coffee's both latte and cappuccino were great in taste especially at the price they are for. To end it we had an assorted mix of laddoos. The bountiful boondi and Ferrero Rocker are definitely my picks and the ones top order. Also do try the Popsicle's, I tried the Anglo Indian, a mix of vanilla, rum and caramel custard and it was out of this world. Overall a pretty space, helpful and courteous staff and a variety of desserts. Definitely on my list of favorites. Please get more food dishes and I am coming back very soon.

Had to edit the review after trying more products! Recent experience: Got free goodies while dining at the Bombay canteen! Tried their signature four piece dessert box and their chocolate butterscotch barks! The key to few sweets is definitely temperature. The marzipan chocolate barfi is superb when cold and the Nolan gut rasgulla when room temperature! First impression: The concepts are really nice but the sweets aren’t that great! Tried their assorted sweet box and chocolate fudge! The sweets are just fine! They might want to work a little more in the combinations for people who live traditional sweets! They could’ve been way better! The chocolate fudge is way better and a must try! Tried it during their Valentine’s Day special and having been loving it since! PS: the packaging is superb! The boxes and the concept is really really nice!

Byculla is changing and BSC leads the charge. This lively place offers all that the name promises and some more. Some favourite sweets like jalebi , nankhatai and seasonal delicacies like poonkh alongwith with cotemporoary dishes like avocado papri chat (awesome) all made inhouse at specific times so u can rush to get the freshest stuff . Special mention of the malai ice-cream which is a must have. Friendly courteous staff who seemed genuinely happy to help out . Limited seats which will fill up soon if they maintain the present standards. Overall great

I ordered a mithai box for a friends birthday and the Bombay Sweet Shop sent them a chocolate bar as well. I mean how sweet and thoughtful is that. Thank you so much, it was such a kind gesture. I've been a big fan of your mithai and barks and now a bigger fan. Thank you for sharing your sweetness with us!!

Expect a fusion of your regular mithai's. Their chocolate bark is a star mithai for sure! Found it a little over priced for the mithai value alone, but the ambience and packaging justifies the difference.

Besides the superlative quality of both its sweets and savouries, and the flawlessly committed service (Praveen, specifically, comes to mind), what uniquely stands out is the sense of serenity and calm that descends on you as soon as you step in. PS: One area in which BSS could scale even higher is in ensuring the coffee is still hot by the time it reaches the table.

Oh my lord. Beautiful space and layout. It's the end of August in 2023, raksha bandhan around the corner. Sitting in the green upholstered booth to the left of the glass doors as you enter, you see a happy people of the human industry in Mumbai, cheery staff that promote the brand as it should. Special thanks to Pravin sir, and Payal ma'am for a lovely in-store pick-up experience. Will keep coming back for more.

Only one suggestion Pls do not staple 3 pins on each bag you you despatch your box of sweets. Its painful and unsafe fir your clients. Pls use a removable sticker .
