Dhamaal- the desi kitchen has won my heart on the first sight itself. The use of white colour in their decor is so overpowering that they give you an impression of being pure and pristine. The seating is comfortable . It is also connected to the hustle where one can have hard drinks and enjoy the lounge. Dhamaal is a family restaurant and ofcourse kid friendly. The staff service is excellent and i am really confused about the negative comments on service in the reviews but i have not faced any issues. Infact the servers were very attentive even on a busy evening. We ordered the following: Guava marry Gabbies punch (must order) Orange basil mojito Virgin wasabi mule Avocado toasty Chatpatta jalapeno poppers fondue Paneer pesto tikka(must order) Avocado spiced hummus( must order) Paneer tikka pizza Asparagus walnut pesto pizza Sukhe kofte ( must order) Paneer tikke wali biryani ( must order ) Vanilla and brownie sizzler ( best among the choices) Malai kulfi Its one of the best pure veg restaurants to open up in this area and i highly recommend it. We were helped by Mr. Krishan in choosing the jain menu items and he did a wonderfull job. Superb food presentation and great taste.

Dhamaal the Desi Kitchen located at Opera House is a newly opened pure vegetarian fusion kitchen restaurant which serves some amazing Jain food. We ordered everything Jain, and finally I have another recommendation for Jain food restaurants in my list. The staff here is very courteous and sweet, plus the ambiance is very beautiful and bright because of white decor. We ordered - Laal Mirch paneer Tikka (4/5) Sliced paneer cubes with Rich red sauce coating, tandoored properly and paneer was soft. But the dish was could have been more spicy. Avocado toasty (4/5) The taste was genuinely good and very freshly made avocado topping. Blue rose mocktail (4/5) The normal blue lagoon mocktail which is very refreshing. Fruit punch mocktail (5/5) Mixed with different fruit juices like pineapple and watermelon, very freshing with pieces of pomegranate and basil leaves for refreshing minty flavor. Paneer butter masaledaar (5/5) The dish truly is very buttery and masaledaar, the perfect taste of paneer butter masala and loved it completely. We had it along with butter kulcha and butter roti which was also very soft and crispy. Vanilla and hot sizzling Brownie (4/5) Sizzling Brownie is always a good option when it comes to desserts after an tempting dinner. But the brownie here could have been better and more softer. Rest everything was fine.

We went to dhamaal, a newly opened restaurant at girgaon Chowpatty, on a Monday night and it was jam packed. The decor is very bright and pure white. There are huge glass windows overlooking the road which give the restaurant a grand look. The ambience is very cheerful and soothing. We were a group of 4 people and ordered pure jain menu and we were impressed. We had paneer tikka pizza , sukhe kofte, asparagus walnut risotto and paneer wali Biryani in mains. Each item was mind blowing and this has become my favourite weekend restaurant now. I am in love with the food out here. Presented very well and the staff also tries their best to make you comfortable. We also tried their pesto paneer tikka, avocado humus , avocado toasty and chatpatta jalapeno popper fondue and they were amazing. In drinks I would recommend the gabbies punch and guava marry. Would love to see more options in the dessert section but the sizzling brownie does not disappoint. Overall a heaven for veg food lovers and totally recommend it

One of the best ambience restaurant in Girgaon. Basically the place is really very good with black and white ambience. I was in love not also with food but also with the ambience. The ambience will really drool you. I have visited with my friends for dinner. Actually the place is very rushy during night time. So you will have to wait for while. Along with this the service is really very good and the staff is polite and courteous. The food which I have ordered was awesome and delicious. They don’t serve non- vegetarian food. So the restaurant is fully veg. They also serve Jain food as well. So it’s not a good place for non-vegetarians. But they can also try it. In starters I have ordered 1. French fries with mayo 2. Paneer tikka pizza 3. Bhatti aloo 4. Fruit punch 5. Shikpampuri Cheese Kebab 6. Lime soda sweet All the above items were good. I loved the shikampuri cheese kebab which was delicious and tasty. I will really recommend to visit this restaurant and try out their other delicious items from their menu card. The prices are also less and reasonable as well. Do visit with your friends and family. Awesome place with great and ambiance.

Dhamaal the desi kitchen An amazing place with super great ambience. Got a very decent classy decor, also the place as got bright lights which also gives it positive vibes. •Gabbies Punch. This was a drink made with different fruit juices and tasted definitely amazing. •Guava Merry A spicy tangy drink to get your evening started. •Chatpata jalapeno poppers fondue Home made deep fried pops with melting cheese. The melted cheese also had a pinch of spices and went well with the jalapeno poppers. I really liked this one and would recommend to all. •Crispy fried bhindi Deep fried okra, sprinkled with homemade masala. Crispy bhindi but the taste was a little pale. Has the masala sprinkled over it was not evenly spread out but overall tasted amazing. •Four cheese pizza Global cheese lovers with tempting feta, parmesan, mozzarella and amul. Had a thin crust but I didn't like it so much. Was a okayish pizza, but I would recommend to have some other food items as they have much better dishes. •Avocado special hummus Served with cheese zatar naan. Hummus served with avocado puree tasted amazingly well. The zatar naan was really very soft and this one was the star of the night. •Baked gulab jamun Gulab jamun baked in rabdi & milk. The gulab jamun was soft soaked in rabdi and milk. It was baked so had a little different taste and I would recommend to all.

The newly opened Dhamaal, The Desi Kitchen is pristine white as you enter. Almost like that bright white room of bruce almighty. You really don't want to stain it, that white and plush unlike anything there's ever been. But one look at the menu and you know, this restaurant's totally up your ally. A full blown desi fusion meal here that you don't want to miss! What we had: Starters: Paneer Tikka: Deliciously marinated Paneer grilled to perfection! Black Currant Handi Salad: Handvi + Bulgar + Chutneys +Mascarpone + Black current and pomegranate - This one's a gujju twist which we totally were intrigued by! Drinks: Orange Basil Mojito: This drink was so refreshing! We really needed it to cool down from all this heat during the day! Guava Merry: This drink was so much fun! Mains: Peepawale Chhole - Oh what deliciousness in this Chhole bowl! Takes us to the bylanes of Delhi. That authentic it tasted! Finger licking good this was! Chilli Olive Naan & Amrisari Kulcha: Perfect accompaniments to the masaleydar chhole. Although we felt the kulcha was so delicious, it really deserved to be had just like that! Desserts: To end the meal was this masterchef looking dessert, Anjeer Shahi Tukda which looked so so good, we almost didn't want to break it! It came along with Rabdi and we did think the entire combo would be too sweet, but much to our surprise it wasn't and tasted so damn delicious! This place has all that it takes to be popular. Head here before it gets too busy to get a table! :D

DHAMAAL - The Desi Kitchen . #Newopening opposite to Royal Opera House. First look impressive. Interiors White with a bit of Pastel used. Gives a nice look. Cuisine - North Indian/Italian and a bit of Desi Fusion. Menu - Chef Sharad ( Ex Taj ) has played it safe. Comfort Menu/Comfort food. Not Overpowering. Balanced the spices well. Service , Ok to good. Let's start what i tried. Mexican Tomato Soup - a mix of Mexico/Indian Tangy/Spicy/Crunchy. Balanced it well with Tomato Extracts and crunchy tortilla chips. Beans with a couple of veggies. Overall Good. Salad - Desi Kitchen has to give something different. Here the chef has innovated the Black current Khandvi Salad. Khandvi rolled placed at the bottom topped with Tabbouleh salad and mascarpone chutney. Subtle in taste. Nicely presented. Dressing balanced. Something different. Reshmi Malai Seekh - Minced cottage cheese with cilantro/diced veggies /cream Tandoored well served with Mint chutney and house salad ( salad could have been a bit crunchy and fresh ) Taste - good. Rice flavours. Jalapeno Chilli and Cheddar Kulcha @ 180+ is a good bet. Lovely stuffing. Sharpness from cheddar + diced jalapeno gives a nice hit .Sesame/cilantro on top. Just call for this. They also have masala Mozzarella. Sarso Ka Phool ( choice between cauliflower/Broccoli or both) This was the dish of the day for me. It's also about richness and balance. Mustard/Cream/Cheese char grilled to perfection. Can come for this dish anytime. Loved it. Lebanese section was a surprise- Fattoush was made well. Citrusy/crunchy. Nicely balanced. Sumac used well / lime juice proportion was good. It's all about cutting the vegetables when it comes to Fattoush. Good work chef. Peepe Wale Chole - can be compared to the who's who in Mumbai. Amritsari masala/slow cooked chickpeas/texture/glaze/spices/balance = perfect. Went well with Amritsari Kulcha Asparagus Walnut Pesto Risotto - Simple yet classy. Arborio rice cooked to perfection. Blend of coconut milk/pesto asparagus , nice combination. Topped with walnuts. Taste = subtle. Rich dish. Priced at 390/+ good portion. Dessert = do try the baked Gulab Jamun -Richness ( Rabdi ) Not that sweet though and Jamun ( Cut ) gave a perfect ending to this meal. Complete veg restaurant , SOBO has a new place. I heard their Pizza's are good. Maybe next time. Good team work - till we meet again. Cheers.

Dhamaal- The desi kitchen is located at charni road in the vicinity of girgaum chowpatty and just opposite 'The Royal Opera House' theater. The family restaurant is situated on the ground floor and has a large dining hall. The place is very well lit. The interior has a white theme with accents of bright shades in the form of decor and lampshades. There's always some mild and soothing music playing in the background. They have a couple of led screens to cast important events. They serve pure veg food and have a wide variety of north indian, mexican and italian dishes. We were hosted by Mr. Deepak and he gave us great recommendation. The service here is prompt and the staff members are attentive and courteous. What we ordered for dinner ? Mexican Tomato soup-5⭐- The soup was tangy and a little sour which tasted great. With the fresh tomatoes, to add that Mexican flavour it had beans and small pieces of nachos in it. Asian tacos-5⭐- Scrumptious tacos with a filling of fried potatoes and tomatoes with salsa. The tacos were drizzled with tangy mayo. The presentation of this dish is also very interesting. Chatpatta jalapeno popper fondue-5⭐- These were crisp fried poppers stuffed with warm and soft melted cheese. It is served with hot liquid cheese fondue placed on top of a candle to keep it hot. The poppers tasted sweet and cheesy The cheese fondue was creamy and made a perfect dip for the poppers. Highly recommended. Gardenia pizza-5⭐- This 10inch pizza had thin crust which was crisp on the edge. The pizza was loaded with layers of cheese and when pulled a slice the cheese stretched so satisfyingly. It was topped with veggies like bell peppers, jalapeno and corn. Overall it was very flavourful. Highly recommended. Tawa de paneer tikke-5⭐- This classic delight was amazing. Tender squares of paneer sauted on a pan marinated in gravy full of condiments. Highly recommended Butter garlic naan-5⭐- The naan slices were soft, thin and stretched perfectly. The garlic was evenly distributed and gave a strong accent to the flavour. Guava marry-5⭐- If you're searching for a summer mocktail with Indian flavours, this spiced guava chilli drink will fit the list perfectly. It's a guava drink with the fieriness from red chilli powder and spiffed up with black pepper. A great combination of flavours come together in this drink. Highly recommended. Virgin wasabi mule-4.5⭐- Virgin wasabi mule was a new drink. It was presented in a steel mug to keep the drink cold with a piece of lemon in it. The aftertaste of ginger was the best.
