Cake Basket Mumbai

We were looking to order cakes for dessert, and since we have been regularly having cakes and cookies from their outlet at vile parle east, I also thought of trying out this outlet. We ordered a swiss truffle pastry, butterscotch pastry, and a rasmalai pastry. The swiss truffle pastry was delicious, with soft chocolate cream covered with a nice loop of dark chocolate. The bread for the pastry was made with rich chocolate, and the back was covered with choco chips, ensuring you have a soft crunch while eating. The rasmalai pastry, as the name suggests, was a mixture of moist bread mixed with rasmalai pieces and topped with rasmalai flavored cream. The top also had a small piece of rasmalai, and the entire pastry was exceptionally delicious. One of the best rasmalai cakes you can have, with the freshness apparent in taste. The butterscotch flavored pastry I had after a long time. The back was covered with crunchy butterscotch chips, and the overall pastry was a mixture of vanilla flavored bread topped with soft butterscotch flavored cream. All the three pastries I tasted, in short, were delicious and were perfect as a dessert. However, the biggest issue with the pastries is the quantity and size. At the rate the cake shop charges, the size was tiny, and in fact, the swiss truffle I could finish off in just three bites. Thus, I would say the cost for the pastry is exorbitant at the portion size it is being offered. All in all, I would say though the taste and quality are exceptional, the quantity is significantly less and thus needs improvement.
