Really liked the food. Wanted to try Sushi for the first time and I really liked it.
For someone who wants to try Sushi for the first time they should definitely visit over here.
Ambience and service were also good. Will definitely visit again
I love the food of foo and have been to other branches. It was first time visiting Andheri one and I must say, quality of food is constant across their branches. We ordered Sushi, dimsums and both were amazing. But the highlight was their Truffle and Edamame Burnt Garlic Fried rice .. it was one of the best fried rice I had in recent times.
Walked out of the neighbouring Pan Asian restaurant and decided to do Sunday Brunch at Foo again as I really enjoy their food. So glad I did as the place was decorated for Christmas and the vibes were just great.
Food and Spread: the festive brunch options were excellent (pretty much same as their Sunday brunch menu) and included 2-4 choices across soup, salad, sushi, dimsum, appetizers, main course and dessert. This is what I would recommend you to try from their huge menu:
1. Siracha chicken dumpling
2. Spicy hamachi maki
3. Wasabi, truffle and edamame dumpling
4. Tenderloin chilly
5. Strawberry cheesecake (icecream was the winner 😉)
I couldn't try the main course yet again as I was really stuffed because I repeated a few of the items above (you can call for any items as many times) but the portion sizes are just ideal for a single serving so you can try more options if required. Really happy with the quality and taste of food. My wife and friend loved their meal too.
Drinks: They also have a set brunch drinks menu from which we tried just the Meso sour which turned out to be very good though on the sweeter side as they add a bit of caramel syrup to it.
Service: Unlike the last time, the service was pretty good this time around and there wasn't any chaos even when the place was packed.
Ambience: they have an indoor and outside section. As we had walked in, we sat at the bar for half the meal and then were shifted to a table inside though I would have preferred to sit in their cabana styled seats outside.
Our overall bill with taxes came to Rs. 8900 for 3 (festive brunch food package with drinks on ala carte) which I would consider a bit steep but it's totally worth it.
Overall I really enjoyed the food, drinks & the ambience and recommend this place to anyone willing to splurge for a nice Asian Sunday brunch.
Foo is one of the best authentic asian cuisine restaurants in the locality. The ambience of the restaurant is pleasant. We opted for the set lunch option and the list of items they have in it is really good. With excellent service, soothing music and tasty food..we had our hearts and tummy full while leaving the restaurant.
The food is of supreme quality and each dish is well curated with unique flavours. The staff Mr.Shubham was kind and very friendly. He suggested us good food options. The ambience is pretty warm. I would recommend everyone to definitely visit.
Excellent experience. I usually don't give out 5-stars loosely but Foo was definitely worth it. Right from accommodating us last minute on a weekend, to the food served till the amazing service, everything was really good. A special mention of their Japanese blue fried rice - worth it!
Pros:
Situated in prime location of Andheri
Ample amount of seating space both inside and outside
Pan asian restaurant with some special dishes like blue rice and yellow curry, dimsums
Staff is friendly and makes good suggestions
Cons:
Heavy on pocket
Overall a must try.
Awesome vegetarian food specially the sushi and dim-sums. Loved the galaxy dessert. The staff was cooperative and helped us in choosing the best dishes. Highly recommended!
"A Taste of Asia, Right Here in Andheri! Foo Andheri takes you on a culinary journey through the diverse flavors of Asia. From the perfectly grilled Satay Skewers to the indulgent Pad Thai Noodles, each dish is a masterpiece. The ambiance and attentive service add to the overall experience. A must-visit!"
Foo never disappoints me. I absolutely love this place and you will too if you are craving for Asian food.
This place has a very great ambiance and has a very good staff that helps you through out.
The food is very tasty and flavourful. I really love their flat noodles and I recommend you to try as well. We had ordered a chilli rice which had a very unique taste. Check out their spicy movie its something you don’t want to miss out on!
Overall a super great experience, I only have good things to say about this place.
Ambiance is way too good and food also.. Foo is one of my most favorite.. You should definitely try their Aburi veg uramaki, which is sushi, Hong yu water chestnut wonton is absolutely lip smacking..
Food was good..I would like to specially recommend foo crispy prawn cheung fun..Overall the meal was not too spicy. A little pricey so once in a while it's okay to order ..worth it
Their service is very good, attentive Prompt. I would say their highlight are the dumplings, they are very good. But portion sizes are very small, making it quite expensive. The small plates are better than the big plates. Their unique dessert, Mount Foo-Ji, is very interesting and is a combination of various desserts, we enjoyed it.
I don’t think I have a single bad thing to say about Foo. Atmosphere, apps, drinks, staff, and the enjoyment factor were all aced by this establishment. Balraj went above and beyond to make our experience a great one, and Prajitesh is one of the best restaurant managers I’ve seen as of late. He ensured each aspect of our meal was seamless and curated perfectly, even on a Friday night when the restaurant was bustling. I LOVE THE SAKE BOMBS. Their house brew is stellar: light, fizzy, and allows the sake to shine. The quality of their ingredients is unmatched, and you can see that in their avocado and dim sum dishes. The overall vibe at Foo is fun, light, welcoming, and full of culinary joy. Definitely pop by with your family and friends for a great time!
It's Japanese. Very good for the Beer lovers. They have their own Beers. Allow us to taste before ordering. The food is good too. Veg and Nonveg.
Ground and elevation available for sitting. Comfortable and specious.
Foo is my family’s go to place for Sushi. Their entire menu is specifically curated and the quality and presentation of food hasn’t dropped ever since the day it opened. Consistency in service, taste and presentation is commendable. Do try the California sushi roll if you like crabs and caviar .. it’s the best in town and I’m quite sure you’ll order it every time you’re there..
We were a group of 6 and ordered:
foo yam bean maki
foo vegan maki
wasabi, truffle & edamame dumpling
sriracha chicken dumpling
foo yellow curry chicken
truffle & edamame garlic fried rice
foo hakka noodles
Both the makis were good. However the wasabi was not really as potent as expected.
The maki plate comes with 4 pieces.
The edamame dumplings were presented very beautifully and they also tasted better than the chicken dumplings.
The yellow curry and hakka noodles were the highlights of our dinner.
Another highlight was the attentiveness and helpfulness of the staff - they really made our dining experience memorable.
