We had a successful end of year family dinner with three generations, especially due to staff being super accommodating. They helped us find a table of our choice and also kindly agreed to turn down the music in our part of the restaurant.
Quality of food is excellent and our order of tapas was served very quickly - with a nice selection of dips. Highly recommend are chicken croquettes, chicken loaded nachos, soft shell tacos and prawns. The portions are generous and on this occasion, we did not try any main course dishes. For dessert, delicious churros and Nutella cheesecake, plus Christmas themed cupcakes on the house.
Extensive bar menu too.
Had heard a lot about this place in Hughes Road, newly opened and the service and food was impeccable, we had the famous chicken roll, chicken tacos and sizzling shrimps which were mind blowing and the in house sauce with bread is a definite must try! Do try their cocktails which are very well made, we had gin based cocktails, for main course we had the seafood paella which again was extremely flavourful, desserts we had Nutella cheesecake with ice cream and their in house tiramisu served beautifully in a cocktail glass! All in all it’s a 9/10 for me
Located close to girgaon chowpatty this is a very good restaurant offering mexican cuisine. We visited this place on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and got a table immediately. We tried the recommended cottage cheese chimichurri which was quite good. In mains we tried quinoa risotto which was soo yummy and in dessert double chocolate mini cake. Food is just amazing here and the service was also great. Definitely recommended.
Good location. Great ambience. Wonderful cocktails presentation! Very impressive vibe overall. Ample space for seating in 2 floors. Good staff service. Polite host.
Food was overall good . Price very reasonable given then setting and portion.
Non-vegetarian options seem to be more up to the mark.
Fried chicken tacos 4/5
Loaded nachos veg 3.5/5
Pizza mexicana vegetables 4/5
Great places for couples/friends/colleagues!
Must visit once. This place is one of a kind .
@pocolocotapasandbar We had a delightful dining experience at the Sobo outlet of Poco Loco Tapas & Bar, located on Hughes Road. We were comfortably seated with a warm welcome. The restaurant has a distinct low-cal cocktail segment and offers experimental cuisine with a Boho-Mexican vibe. We started with a perfect salad to set the mood - Ensalada Mexicana De Verduras. It was followed by Fried Chicken Tacos & Gambas Chimichurri (Prawns in Chimichurri sauce). And then came Seafood Paella. All the dishes were perfectly cooked with authentic taste and flavor. We opted for two drinks to pair with the food - Classic Pisco Sour & Flora Lavanda. Both the drinks went very well the food. The desserts -Tres Leches and Salted Caramel & Pecan Cheese Cake were heavenly.
The warm welcome and attentive service contribute to an overall positive impression of the restaurant. It is a place where one can not only savour delicious and creatively crafted dishes but also enjoy an attentive dining atmosphere
Visited Poco Loco Town last week. This Poco Loco outlet is relatively new with the original one being at Khar.
For starters had the Patatas Bravas and the Twin Mushroom Croquetas. Patatas Bravas was quite tasty, crisp and tangy but on the spicier side. The Mushroom Croquetas were heavy with mushrooms and a bit strong for my liking, but tasty nonetheless.
For main course we tried the Enchiladas with beans and they were super delicious. Probably the best dish we tried.
For desserts we ordered the Nutella Cheesecake with Ice-cream and the Double Chocolate Mini Cake. Extremely delicious and decadent 👌.
Poco Loco also has a wide variety of Mocktails and Cocktails. Service was extremely quick and even on a Sunday we found a table on the ground floor.
The ground floor sitting appears to be better than the first floor as the tables are spaced out ensuring comfort and privacy. Cost is approximately Rs. 1000-2000/- per person depending on what you order.
We went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We tried the following:
1. Grilled chicken Quesadilla
2. peri peri chicken with Cilantro rice
3. A tangerine mocktail (originally a cocktail but the manager asked the bartender to make a mocktail for us. Spicy. Very much recommended.)
4. Dulce Y Sal
The food was delicious.
Quantity was great and sufficient for 2 people.
The service was quick and prompt.
I'm actually surprised why it was not very crowded. The place is worth a visit. I'll come here again to try more Spanish cuisine.
Poco Loco Tapas & Bar is a casual dining restaurant that serves Mexican, Spanish & Continental cuisine along with Signature Drinks & Desserts.
This outlet is located at Ground Floor, Kapur Mansion, Kemps Corner, Grand Road West. The outlet is designed very nicely with lavish interiors and chemistry theme.
From June 21 to July 21 they are hosting Tacos Tequila Fest, where you can try their amazing different types of tacos or tequila infused tacos.
Also I tried their Grilled Chicken Quesadillas and Enchiladas along with Tiramisu. Overall my experience was amazing, will definitely visit again.
Visited poco loco for lunch a while back & everything here was absolutely delicious!! They had a whole different jain menu as well. We tried the jain chimichanga, Mexican cannelloni, margarita pizza, double chocolate mini cake, Nutella cheese cake with ice cream & for drinks we tried sex on the beach cocktail & sandia v menta mocktail (watermelon and mint juice) the vibe and service was great too :)
This is a super hap and pap Spanish and Mexican specialty restaurant located about a km from grant road station.
They’ve got a very classy and modern aesthetically pleasing ambience with an amazing playlist.
The staff was super prompt, polite and professional.
They offer a really elaborate bar as well as food menu.
The menu offers a very wide variety of veg, non veg and jain spanish/mexican/tex-mex options to choose from.
Coming onto the price point, the prices are not steep in general but when their portion sizes are taken into account, it does feel super expensive.
They really need to up their portion sizes.
500-600 rupees for 3 little potatoes or tacos is just not justified.
Almost everything in the menu tasted fantastic but I really didnt like the spicy mexican potatoes.
Overall, a really great place to visit for a family get together, a casual friends hangout or even a date.
Super Mexican food. Ordered the herbed jacket potatoes as a starter which was a little spicy but otherwise great. For mains, ordered the Peri peri cottage cheese with cilantro rice and tex mex burger. Both were amazing!!
Nestled in the heart of Mumbai, Poco Loco in Town is a culinary gem that tantalizes taste buds with its delightful blend of Spanish and Mexican cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the vibrant ambiance sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.
The menu boasts a diverse array of dishes, showcasing the rich flavors and aromatic spices synonymous with Spanish and Mexican cooking. The tapas selection is a highlight, offering a perfect introduction to the culinary journey ahead.
The attentive staff enhances the dining experience, providing recommendations and ensuring each dish arrives with perfection. The cozy setting makes Poco Loco ideal for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings with friends.
To complement the meal, the cocktail menu is extensive, and also features chemistry based cocktails. The skilled mixologists take pride in crafting beverages that seamlessly complement the bold flavors of the cuisine. We give it a big thumbs up.
So recently we visited a newly opened branch of Poco Loco restaurant in grant road.
The restaurant is Mexican Spanish theme based so the colours used are somewhat extravagant suiting that theme. The interior was very classy and they had created a very good ambience.
We went there to try out some of their dishes from the menu and We have tried a variety of dishes.
For starters we had some nice refreshing mocktails each of which they've given a name from the periodic table.
We tried,
1. Senorita
2. Tinto Verano
Both mocktails had a very refreshing taste and were presented to us in a beautiful manner. I loved the taste and the colours too.
Then we tried some starters in which we had,
1. Tamrindo Chille Pollo
2. Cottage Cheese Chimichuri
The starters were very delicious and the quantity was perfect as per the price though. They have preserved good quality for the food they served.
Then in the mains we had,
1. Jamaican Spice Chicken Pizza
2. Taquitos
The main course was just amazing. The pizza they came up with was a thin crust with perfectly cooked toppings which was just as you would expect from such an upscale restaurant.
Both these dishes were very tasty and presented very well. Then finally we ended our experience with a dessert in which we had Nutella Cheesecake With Ice Cream.
We loved the presentation and the taste of their dessert and the cheesecake was perfectly made and the topping of Nutella was a perfect dessert we've tried.
Overall we had a lovely experience at the restaurant about their dishes too and their ambiance too. We would surely love to visit again.
Recently tried them out. I have heard about them a lot so i wished to just give them a try!! The food available here is so delicious. Every bite of the main course of the food was delicious 😋🤤. They have a wide variety of menus with them. Really impressed. Their hospitality was also excellent!! Pina Coco was the best of all. Haven't tasted that much till now. Best of all!! They also have a reasonable price for every food. The food is also served very nicely. The manager is also helpful. The ingredients used were also fresh. Really best in town. Must try their species and food !!
In chowpatty, Poco Loco has a brand-new location. Similar to the restaurant in Khar, but larger and offering superior service and inventive and adventurous cuisine.
The menu features symbols to designate if they are Keto, Vegan, Spicy, Gluten Free, and Healthy.
With a wide range of F&B to choose from, we tried
Pino Coco & BlueBerry Virgin Mojito -both were fantastic in taste. Just right to complement our food
Rollo De Aguacate - If you enjoy avocado and chicken, this dish on the menu is a must try. This was such a wonderfully presented entrée and the taste was really fantastic. An Avocado roll loaded with chicken pate, which was a beautiful mix. One of the innovative items I would love to try again.
Patatas Bravas - crunchy fried potatoes that are mixed with bravas sauce. The sauce is really what sets these potatoes apart from other fried potato dishes and gives them their deliciously mildly spicy and smoky flavor.
Chicken Burrito Bowl - This is among the top burrito bowls I've ever had. Simply mouthwateringly excellent. Bowl loaded with Chicken, Fajita, Guacamole, Mexican Rice, Beans, Sour cream, salsa and Corn Chips
Poco Loco Roast Chicken - a mouthwatering roast chicken leg accompanied with baked baby potatoes. The green herb sauce was the perfect accompaniment to the chicken. The serving size is suitable for sharing between two persons.
We finished our lunch with hot, wonderful Churros and chocolate sauce.
Poco Loco is new in town, the second outlet after Khar. The ambiance of this place is too good with spacious 2 levels. They serve amazing Mexican and Spanish food, plus amazing place for cocktails and chill. They have a periodic table of Cocktails which is too cute. Coming to the food i had a detoxification juice and a berry mocktail blended with cream. Both the juice and the mocktails were good which we paired up with some appetizers like Cottage cheese chimichurri and patata bravas. Patata bravas was too light and nice, with sauce filling in the center. Chimichurri was good though. Had their signature Mexican Tortilla soup which was spicy and too tangy, just the way i like. Coming to their mains, had tortellini. No doubt they were good but the tortellini would have been more thin coated.
Do not miss their signature dessert Tres Leches, 3 milk cake. Totally loved the experience there.
#SobogetsLoco yes .. After the success of Santacruz Poco loco has now come to Sobo at Charni Road ( ex Tantra )
Firstly the visibility is just FANTASTIC
Compact place with a mezzanine , fully stocked bar , colorful and lot of elements where in one comes to know that it's Mexican / Tapas / and a bit of Spanish
Tried a couple of cocktails which were their signature , No flaws
Coming to their food , they might have tweaked some dishes to suit the local crowd which is the correct thing to do
However I tried what I like best.
Went for the Ensalad Mexicana - lovely portion , fresh salad leaves , jalapeno which gave the hit as well as Chipotle and red cherry tomatoes
Overall good , would have liked the salad leaves to be a bit crunchy.
Cottage cheese Hebenaro - good and nicely done , spicy , marinating was spot on
GAMBAS al Ajilo - must try the sizzling prawns dish with olive oil and garlic served with canarian mojos. Loved the flavour and texture.Bread served along was a threat to have along with the garlic oil
Burritos - here they have given a twist . Basically a bowl where in you get all condiments like polo di gello , sour cream , guacamole , rice , nachos dips . Looked and tasted good
For non veg I tried the Pan Seared Habenero chicken with pilaf - this is some quantity and the richness is another level. Peri peri sauce which was rich and had a lovely sheen . Rice placed over it and to top it was the chicken
Guess this dish is a meal by itself
Spicy full of flavours , chicken done well
Do try
Churros was the dessert we ended with ( chef pls look into the texture ) however the chocolate sauce was fab , overall it was a great dessert
Overall this place is here to stay
Sobo , one more for you
Cheers
Very nice place for casual dinning with good music. Don't waste your time over desserts. Quite disappointing.
Excellent! Went here during the dineout girf to try out a new restaurant, and to my surprise the food was amazing! The cocktails we ordered weren't all that great but if you want good mexican food this is the place to go. ABSOLUTELY TRY the enchiladas gratinadas it was amazing.
