Had Pomfret thali.. it was fresh and very tasty. Must really appreciate the service. Typically the old fashioned resturant ambience. Loved it.
Absolute in love with this place, rustic open kitchen vintage experience. Still have those wooden chairs & high ceiling large pillars restaurant. Everything is awesome for non-vegetarians. But Seafood stands out. Very pocket friendly. opt for any non-veg Thali or any Fish everything is awesome. We tried Halwa Thali & Surmai(King Fish) Thali. Worth every single penny spent. Vade(Kombadi Vade) are very authentic.
The Food we had enjoyed at the time of lunch. It was delicious taste with great quality. Nice arrangement and Food comes out fast and it's very affordable hotel.
This is one of the best seafood hotel in Mumbai. Gives you a very authentic goan seafood experience..must try prawns and shellfish. Service is very good and food is budget friendly.
Great Gomantak restaurant right next to Grant Road station. Food comes out fast and the menu is simple & affordable. Tables are shared.

Genuine goan food. Great for fish fry.
Tried Pomfret, bombil, mandeli fry.
Reasonable rate.
Surprisingly large size Pomfret almost double of most malvani restaurants for only ₹ 330.
Simple and clean old mumbai restaurant.
Green chutney will be remembered for long.
Saturday closed. Has clean indian toilet for emergency (also for ladies)
Homely food, great taste. Typical kokani touch to each and every item. #HighlyRecommonded
Best fish thali in mumbai pocket friendly tasty and good service .Above all all the fish is panfried and not deep fried like other so called big name joints. The meat lile mitton and chicken os good too.
I live in Pune, visited this place for first time in 2001, since then I never miss to eat here. Taste is very authentic sea food always served fresh. Lot of varieties. I really hope this place should always be there to serve the real food lovers.. Food taste is unmatchable.
this is heritage of mumbai. almost 85 year old restaurant run by a goan family. the non. egetarian eatery serves authentic kokan belt food . the fish is guaranteed to be fresh and prepared with utmost care. the restaurant is housed in an old building with cast iron pillars. cleanliness is well maintained. service is prompt and courteous. must try special surmai and raawas.
Authentic Maharashtrian coastal food, nice old world charm, benches, ceiling fans and super tasty food. The fish and mutton preparations are simply amazing
Food is awesome.
If you love seafood or Konkani food just be there. You will get best food in budgeted price.
Best thing about the place is it's near by station so every facility is in arms length
Restaurant from another world. Takes you back to throwback years when Mumbai was still habitable place to live and air was still not toxic.
Don't expect top notch service or cutlery and place that had big tables and high chairs. Go there only if you still crave for that homemade like gomantakiya (Goan) food. This is among the last few authentic Goan joints that are dying rapidly in this fast paced environment. No...Dadar gomantakiya joint facing Shivaji Mandir is already dead.
Now coming to food... Goa and fish are synonyms. So try anything and everything that they offer which swims in sea and die in our plate. Chicken and mutton preparations is also finger licking. Goans believe that vegetarians are doomed to die and hence they offer only 1 dish - rice meal.
Go go go. Go of you still yearn for the authentic Goan preparation served in clean steel plates and bowls. Signing off.
No.1 Hotel for Govanies & Malawvani food in Mumbai. Fish Thali, Chiken Thali, kombadi wade are good & at cheaper rate. Ambiance is moderate but test is fantastic.
Good non veg food, especially fish. Pricing is low.
Ambience is not so good and place seems very old
