This vegetarian restaurant, living up to its name, is a true haven for idly enthusiasts. I recently had the pleasure of trying their wide variety of idly creations, including Chilly Idly, Pepper Idly, and Sambar Idly, paired with a delightful side of Paneer Pepper Fry. The taste was nothing short of excellent - each idly variant brought its unique flavour profile to the table. The creativity in their idly offerings sets them apart from other vegetarian restaurants.
The shop is immaculately maintained, creating a clean and inviting atmosphere. However, it's worth noting that the car parking space could pose a challenge during peak hours.
Great food. The place is non ac. Lovely service. Their unlimited tasty chutney and yummy sambar is their apeciality.

Idli and dosa are so soft and delicious. An added advantage is the tea that we get over here. The wash area and toilet are conjusted. The restaurant is on a road with more traffic, and cars can’t be parked in front.
I went to this restaurant on one evening with my friend based on his recommendation. I was not having any expectations about the food here as I have not heard about this shop before.
I ordered thattu dosa and my buddy ordered idly. There was enough seating and the place has a good vibe for the type of restaurant it is. The food arrived soon and along with that there was like 4 different varieties of colourful chutneys and chamandhi powder. Ofcourse, Sambhar was already there on the table. We took couple of photos and started eating. And the moment we put the food on our mouths, we felt that the taste was so authentic and delicious! It was yummy. Honestly, it is one of the best thattu dosa and chutneys that I have ever eaten. We were satisfied after finishing the food.
I would definitely recommend anyone who likes South-Indian traditional food to try this eatery atleast once.
Muvattupuzha's Idly Shop is a great place to have breakfast! The masala dosa was great, and the neyroast was above average. However, the poori masala and chammanthi could use some improvement. Still, overall, it's an above-average place to enjoy a delicious morning meal! 👍🍽️
