I had had the opportunity to stay at this property a few years ago, but the memory still lingers on. Fortune JP Palace is perhaps the best in Mysore. The restaurant serves a tantalizing variety of food. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooms are elegant and spacious and the staff behaviour is commendable. Some rooms offer an amazing view of the magnificent Chamundi hills.

This has to be one of the best place to stay in mysore. Super satisfied with the hotel ambience and cleanliness.
Everything is fine, except onething. Let me share my experience.
While checking out i forgot my mobile charger in the room, but within couple hours I informed the hotel reception that I forgot my charger and told them I wil be able to collect it by next morning, so keep it in the lobby/reception.
I was told that I will get a call and update on this.
Hours passed, tried 4,5 times with different receptionists all of them were trying to skip the routine giving the same response that I will get a call back.
I lost the hope and gave up. Efficient /responsible staffs makes the stay better in any property.
Value for money. 3500 for luxury room and premium breakfast. Close to palace. Uncouthe clients some, who use hands to serve dosa and throw it back into the pan. Nice pool. Sad angry receptionist person. Helpful entrance staff. All in all a good value pick . Luxurious.
We recently visited Mysuru for the very first time with family and it was a worthwhile decision to have chosen Fortune JP Palace for our stay. The staff is really hospitable and courteous and made sure to take care of the smallest of our needs with 2 small kids. The restaurant was very well staffed and I remember Shubham who went above and beyond to make sure our breakfast and dinner experience is unforgettable. The Manager, Mr. Vinayak was so amiable and took really good care of the entire restaurant - The Orchid. I would 10/10 recommended this place for a good leisure holiday or even a work stay.

•Room View : Nothing, ours had a under construction building just adjoining Hotel so curtains were closed all the time.
•Air conditioning : Apparently they have set it at 24/25 and you can't control that from your room, so you have to call them to get it at your choice.
•Key Card : You get stuck in Lift as it doesn't work at times, our room was at 1st Floor so Luckily we had luxury of stairs.
Its a decent hotel with good rooms, common swimming pool. Service is great but their buffet break fast is superb! You have more than 25 items and you will be lost which one to try.. Superb breakfast
Everything was perfectly organized, well trained staff, quick service, comfortable room spacious with all amenities, comfy bed, clean washrooms, Food was also Ok, breakfast spread is decent. Overall great experience
Had great experience staying in the hotel. Got to enjoy both buffet dinner and breakfast
Buffet dinner was good and tasty, service was prompt. Though you would find a few things cold because of less footfall, the trick is to get dishes from the bottom of the container. Service was top notch.
Buffet breakfast spread is awesome with a variety of items from all over the country as well as international cuisine. As expected from ITC.

This is the first time we planned a trip to Mysore and we weren't sure where to stay. Based on other reviews and the price we zeroed in on Fortune JP Palace.
Within the first day of staying there we were glad we made this choice. The staff is super courteous and they do everything they can to make your stay comfortable.
The rooms are aesthetically pleasing and comfortable as well.
The dining is an even better experience altogether. Despite seeing so many people in The Orchid restaurant at peak hours, I could see the manager and staff cater to each customer individually. Mr. Vinayak and his staff (I remember Manoranjan and Sabir but all of the staff were great!) took care of every request promptly.
The chef who makes the sweets also deserves a lot of credit. Usually at restaurants I get the taste of only sugar and there's not much difference between various sweets. But here, the sugar isn't too strong. You get the taste of the flavors of each individual sweet and you don't leave feeling as though you've stuffed yourself too much.
If you're on the fence, just stay here and you will love it. We're looking forward to staying here again when we visit Mysore next.
If I have to offer one point of feedback to the hotel, it would be this. You provide glass bottles of RO water as an option in your restaurant. Please provide this option for the rooms as well. That way your customers who opt for this option will help reduce plastic waste. Right now, only bottled water is available in rooms.
Good decent hotel in town. Sad to say no proper arrangements for cab driver. No concern too. Un hygiene observed in basement of parking area. Top floor restaurant is not matching the quality of itc group of hote!!
