Tastewise, I give them full marks. But quantity and price don't match. I'd ordered veg Biryani the other day, and was charged more than 100 for a small box of rice. Please review the quantity of food you provide. Coming to the taste - everything I tried was very good.
The Kulfi was too good. The Tandoori items were good. And the host was a polite gentleman. The outside seating reminds me of Cannaught place, Dilli.
Got food delivered at home..we ordered following dishes:
Kadhai mushroom- perfectly cooked and creamy taste made the gravy amazing over all it was nice.
Kadhai paneer- we dint like the preparation of paneer, it was nothing in front of our entire order.
No taste of gravy at all.
Dal tadka- all time favourite with perfect mixture of spices.
Indian breads - butter naans and butter rotis - it was fine.
Deserts- kesar badam matka kulfi- average we hardly felt the taste of anything in it except few pieces of badam.
Overall nice experience, will try malai soya chaap next.
Authentic north indian dishes, delicious food, not fancy and small outdoor seating, easy place to have lunch or dinner, served hot, chicken tandoori delicious and also mouth watering kulfi.

Tandoori Swaagat is a really nice place which serves really tasty north Indian food.
It is not very big restaurant but the food is amazing.
And yes, do try their home made kesar pista kulfi and rose kulfi.
We were in a hurry and was in a need of good north indian place before moving to Ooty.
Tandoori Swaagath had decent reviews and we thought we would give it a try.
We kept is simple and ordered 1 Soya Chaap(starter), 2 Veg Thali, 2 Chichekn Thali and 1 Veg Biryani.
Apart from Soya chaap(starter), which was tasteless, everything was perfect. Dal Makhani was amazing. Even the veg biryani was tasty. In Thali, rice and paratha was sufficient for 1 person. Chicken pieces were decent enough. Palak panner was average.
Overall, a good food-joint if you are looking for some North-Indian taste in Mysore.
Superb Gobi parathas, biriyani was a bit spicy, kulfis are yum... There is space for sitting inside and also out..it's near muda complex.. must try
The place has some great choices of food for a guy like me it had soy chap which I was looking for and the taste was totally worth it with their speciality being non veg the place is small but the taste is really great and worth the wait with some great food choices

For a North Indian who's been craving for some delicious Dal Makhani, or Butter Chicken, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! It's a small restaurant with a huge variety of North Indian delicacies, that offer the best North Indian flavour, I bet you can't find easily in Mysore. I tried the Pudina Lachcha Paratha, Cheese Naan, Amritsari Kulcha Combo, if being asked about specialities in the breads. Otherwise, I'm a huge lover of butter chicken, so this restaurant is my go to, if I crave for delicious butter chicken. You must try the Soya Chaap varieties too, along with tandoori chicken. In the end, do not miss the dessert which is different flavours of Kulfi offered each day. I tried Paan flavoured Kulfi.
If you are a north Indian and you are fed up of being disappointed of all the butter chicken and chicken curries in the city, visit this place NOW.
The only joint in mysore which serves real punjabi and mughlai food which wont let u down. Its a small restaurant(nothing too fancy) but the food compensates for that!
Good authentic Punjabi food.. kebabs and tandoori chicken was just way you want it. Cost is relatively high than other places and if you want to satisfy the beast inside you then this place serves well. Chicken biryani was not recommended though. But the other dishes be it tandoori roti, nun, lacha paratha, gravy dishes, all were just great.
The regular stuff like nan, veg gravy ,dal items are good..Unique food of this place is soya chaaps...which is I think only served in this restaurant in mysore.must visit once
Small place in Vijaynagar but the food kind of makes up for it. We had-
1. Butter chicken- the best butter chicken that I've had in mysore so far. Creamy and delicious.
2. Garlic naan- this was good too.
3. Cheese naan- Again, done well.
4. Lachchha parantha- yum.
5. Lemonade- it's hard to get a glass of good lemonade in Mysore but surprisingly the lemonade here tasted really flavorful.
A lot of scope is there for expanding this restaurant. Definitely coming back again here to satiate my north indian food cravings.

We got a home delivery yesterday after reading the reviews online. Food was really good. Delivery also within time and the person in contact managed well.
Upon inquiring with the proprietor Mr. Maneish, as to which dishes were the best, the prompt reply was "all dishes are good!". And so - I tested!
Garlic Naan- 5/5, Lacha Paratha - 5/5, Chicken Tikka Masala - 5/5, Malai Kabab - 5/5. Butter chicken 5/5. And these are scores not given readily.. but after much contemplation.

Tried the rose Kulfi- extremely refreshing and light... and it had real rose petals!
The paneer is made in-house with lots of care- and the quality shines through.

I normally come here for Biriyani, which is quite good. However, prices on a tad higher side. Their roti, naan, and other chicken dishes are a must try.

Great place for total delhi punjabi food. The food is mostly mughlai. Biryani, butter chicken and egg curry are wonderful. Must eat once if you stay in mysore

The place is small, but trust me, the taste is awesome. Service is good. Paneer lababdar and kulfi are a must try. Hariyali kebab is also good. Don't know about non-veg, I'm a vegan. All in all, if you want good food at a reasonable rate without much importance on ambience, it's the best place to be.

While my stay in Mysore, Being a north Indian this restaurant serves the best north Indian in town ,be it veg/non veg.
For Veg- chaps and paneer tikka are really great. Dal makhani and kadai paneer should be in your order list for main course.
For non Veg- Tandoori chicken, chicken hara bhara kebabs for starters and kadai chicken, mutton rogan Josh are in must order list.
It is always recommended to order laccha prantha along.
They serves great Kesar lassi
Kulfi for desserts would be a good choice to go.

This restaurant is in my locality,so I have been there a few times. I loved their paneer lababdar,it has the real authentic taste and they give adequate quantity too.Their stuffed chicken keema parantha is also good.But I was disappointed with chicken seekh kebab.I liked the ambience and overall it's a good place to eat on weekends.
Every foodie craves for the stuffed paranthe loaded with butter on a lazy weekend for lunch... I had similar and decided to drop in to this small but cozy place.. we had the amritsari stuffed paneer kulcha.. it was a bit expensive.. but the dal makhani was every bit worth it.. I also loved their concealed hand wash area
One of the best places in Mysore to have north Indian food. Owner himself is from Delhi, settled down in Mysore. Mutton gravy items are just delicious. Kulfi served here is favourite item of many and must try it after having sumptuous dinner/lunch.
Food is really great here. Veg and non veg both. North Indian authentic food. U can also try thali which is worth the price. The place is small but u can sit out and enjoy a peaceful summer afternoon. Staff is gud. Cherry on the top here is d kulfi.

We went there after searching for north Indian food. We ordered chicken tikka for starter and it was really delicious reminded of Delhi. Then we ordered kadhayi chicken, tandoori roti and chicken biryani as main course, kadhayi chicken was good si were the rotis but chicken biryani was average. Over all for north indian non vegetarian this place is a must.

If you are looking for good and cheap north indian food then this is your place forget chatori street or any other joint in town and go to this place without any doubt.
I went there for lunch and it was surprisingly empty but more and more people were coming so don't be afraid if you find the place to be empty.
The owner is from delhi and will give each and everyone of you special attention.
Must try:
1. Amritsari kulch (choose which ever you want as all of them are amazing)
2. Paneer tikka
3. Tandoori chicken
4. In-house kulfi

Safe option with good taste. Came here for the first time. Friday evening and there's no one around. Having a second thought we decided to give it a try. We ordered chicken malai kabab , mushroom tickka, keema nan, chicken sheek , paneer lababdar. Everything was tasty. And paneer was really soft and fresh. Ambience is OK for a budget restaurant.

Good and tasty food at reasonable rates. The service is slow. I went there esp. for chicken biryani but it wasn't available on that day. I had to get settled with kheema paratha which was not at all spicy and pretty dull. Only good thing of the dinner was the chicken tikka masala which was finger licking good :-P

Had a stop over for lunch at this place while returning from Coorg after reading good reviews on TripAdvisor.a small but VFM outlet that sells good North Indian food. We had a Veg Meal, Dal Tadka, Rice, Shahi Paneer and Garlic Naan for main course and Amritsari Fish Tikka for starters. The main course was good though the fish tikka could have surely had more quantity for the price charged. We topped it off with the kulfi which was good. Overall a nice joint with a homely feeling to the food.

I love being to this place. It has a very homely feel, the servers are nice and the owner(s) generally comes to the table and gives a personal touch. It wouldn't matter to many but it sure gives a homely feel.
The ambience is really okayish, more like a North Indian Dhaba. It has sitting arrangement inside and outside (in open air) as well.
I have been there thrice but the food so far has always been amazing. I loved Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Makhni there. Kulfis are a little costly but totally worth it.
The best thing about this restaurant is it's timely service. They are really fast at serving and I think that's their biggest USP.

Found this small cozy dine-in recently and this place has a very nice ambience with outdoor seating.
The food and service was amazing.
We tried their Tandoori chicken ( One of the best I ever had in Mysore), Egg kadai and their breads. Every dish was cooked to perfection and had a bit of home food touch. The oil was less, and the quality was very good.
I would recommend trying this place once if you are looking for a new place in Mysore.

The taste of food is good. Roti varieties are good, but gravy taste is ok. Service is faster. Ambiance is good. No restroom facility available for diners. Overall, an good place to have food. Still, better options are out there.

Food is good, worth the money. Staff behaviour is great actually owner apologised when we told plates were smelly (which i didn't expect from him). Ambience is good mostly in the evening. You can sit outside and peacefully enjoy your dinner. North Indian may love this place. Cost of one tandoori roti is ₹25 from this you can expect the price of other dishes. If you're a vegetarian then it'd be better if you take Veg platter.

The restaurant has good vibes and excellent north Indian food to offer. The location is good but the restaurant is pretty small in size and can seat only 15-20 only at a single time. The rate is also in budget. It is a good experience in north Indian food and the veg starters.
It was a really good place to have dinner, I loved the outside seating area. The food is tasty, the ambience is decent but I received the food really late.
The best chaap in Mysore is available here. Must try for chaap lovers. We ordered various north indian dishes and liked all of them. The owner of the restaurant was very courteous and would recommend all north indian cuisine likers to visit and try it here.
