The Masala Dosa here is excellent! Crispy and crunchy with loads of butter. The way it's made right before your eyes and served fresh is testament to Shree Dosa Point's popularity. Coconut chutney is top class

A good place to eat south indian food in Mysore. I have tried Masala dosa and Vada from this place. Vada was very good super crispy and may be the best Vada I have eaten in Mysore.
This place is just heaven for dosa lovers. They have varieties in their dosas. I had onion dosa and paper dosa and it was just awesome. They were super tasty and full of flavours. The prices are also nominal.

This small eatery is a gem for Dosa Lovers. Located just besides Bombay Tiffany's on Devaraja Urs Road behind Tea/Coffee Stall, serves several types of Dosas at very nominal prices. Among several options, Open Butter Masala Dosa and Masala Dosa are really awesome.
This place is little cramped and there is no seating arrangement. Granite Shelves along the walls is the only option to place the plates.

If you wanna find this place, don't try finding its name on a board. Just search for a crowd standing somewhere on the pedestrian walk on the right. The second bunch of crowd will lead you to Dosa Point. The first crowd probably will be in front of a bakery, which attracts a lot of footfalls too...
The variety and taste of dosas served here is not very long but definitely delicious.
I tried the Open Butter Masala Dosa and my better half the Set Dosa.. Both were very tasty and of perfect consistency of what one should expect from a dosa...
The service is quick, as the idea of such an eatery is all about fast turn around time...
The cost is slightly higher, possibly because of its upmarket location. Still worth visiting whenever you are shopping or strolling down Urs Road.

Located in the heart of D Devaraja Urs Road, this is one of the best eat out in Mysuru. Its a small eat out (not exactly a restaurant) and one has to find place to stand and eat. coming to the best part FOOD. Loved the Masala thatte ildi, it is served with chutney and a delicious veg gravy. Vade is crispy and tasty. Masala dosa is excellent. From dosa to aloo gade palya (potato filling), to red chutney, to the veg gravy served, everything is so delicious. Coffee is not served by Dosa point but just adjacent to it, the guy makes amazing filter coffee.
Don't miss this eat out when you are in mysuru, its highly recommended.

Writing review for their kuvempu nagar adichunchanaguri road here as its not listed on zomato. Went today evening to try this place and had open butter masala dosa. The dosa was good with crispyness outside and soft inside. The generous butter applied made it more tastier but calorie conscious people might avoid. Rinsed the the throat with hot filter coffee.

Very good dosas are served at very reasonable prices. The service is very quick. Had d tomato dosa and masala dosa. Both tasted very good and d Chutney was also very good. Only problem is that the shop is very small and is usually very crowded. So I prefer d take away option.

.My favorite is masala dosa with extra spicy chatney 👌 and also rava onion dosa. This eating joint is darshini type means self service and hardly place to city. Crowded most of the time. Parking ur vehicle will be tricky as it is located in busiest road. Prices are decent . I would prefer to takeaway rather than having thr !!

It's a darshini kind of a place with only 2 tables kept and most of the people has to stand & eat. But who cares when we are getting awesome dosas!! :D
They will prepare plenty of dosas but as I observed most of them were ordering 'Butter Masala Dosa' so I followed the crowd this time. It took me 10 long minutes to get the dosa as place was jam packed.
Butter Masala Dosa was crisp, roasted to golden brown color. Chutney was good but the Aloo subji was little mashed up but overall dosa was really good with loads of butter in it, he puts atleast 2 or 3 table spoon of oil + equal quantity of butter! OMG you can't eat that quantity of butter and oil on a daily basis. Good thing is you can inform the Cook to not to put oil while placing the order.
Idly was one of the best I have had so far, Uddina Vada was not that crisp but rated well coz of little chunks of coconut pieces in it. Sambar was little spicy but combination went well.
The best part of this place is they serve awesome 'Filter Coffee' which is priced just 10 bucks and tastes devine! Full marks to it.
Overall really good place for Dosa lovers and to sip a cup of hot filter coffee. Price is little higher than darshinis and lower than the restaurants so it's OK. No comments on service as it's self service.

The place serves great idlies and vadas. The chutney tastes good too. Dosas are quite oily - not something I like, but they are very popular.

I am a dosè (Dosa) lover, and I have been to this outlet several times. One thing this outlet amazes me is different types of dose (all classic no fusion). Sometimes I feel dosè oily, but it may be because of consistency or the cook. They manage crowd very well and Also add butter wipes to almost all kinds if dosè. For about INR.50, you could have butter masala dosè and a coffee, according to me, this is great deal. Dosè will be crisp, butter wiped and wrapped in different shapes! Apart from good old masala dosè, open butter masala is what I love.
A small good hygienic place ... That serves crispy dosas and yummm yumm idlis ... A little bit of extra ghee and butter makes the dosas more tasty !!! And the chutney they provide is different and good .. Always crowded !!

This place is next to Bombay Tiffany’s, very easy to locate. It’s not a proper eatery but a very small shop and always crowded. I tried everything but my favorite is Thatte Idly with chutney. They serve their signature chutney which is not made of coconut. Their dosas taste lip smacking if you try them with extra ghee or butter. Their service is quick and very reasonable. A must try place in Mysore if you’re wandering at Devaraja Urs Road.

I’ve tried the benne dosa (butter dosa) and their Mysore masala dosa and both of them are absolute perfection!

We also tried out their gulab jamuns this time around and that was just as good! Super soft and fluffy, and cutting into them was smooth as butter. I’m a snob about a good gulab jamun, and these checked all the boxes. Only thing is that I wished they were served hot to take it to another level but I didn’t mind room temperature too much either
Also this outlet is the older one, right next to Bombay Tiffanies. It’s a small hole-in-the-wall joint so it might be easy to miss

All those who directly equate the Royal city Mysuru to mylari dose, need to also try this place out. A blink and u miss " tiny" entrance on the Devaraja Urs Road, the shopping heaven in Mysuru. Has been operational since a long time. One has to order, pick their plate and savour the piping hot dose, standing.
Would not want to get into the debate of which dosa point in mysore is the original and which is a rip off, as what concerns the customer is the final product and if the final product rocks... Life's Good.
The fresh red chilli - Garlic chutney smeared over the dose here is the hero... And when it combines with the pure butter over the sveltering hot tawa... Heavens can wait. Every bite with a bit of Gatti chutney takes the dose to the next level. ( specially ask for the gatti chutney) as they as a standard provide the watery version.

There's only one kind of Dose ( which is with benne / butter) and that's the basic one.
Easily one of the finest dose in Mysuru... Served hot, crisp and flavorful. No unwanted heaps of pudi and ghee... You bite into the real deal and feel the taste of the butter, the garlic chutney and most importantly the fermented batter.
Do drop into Dosa point, located next to bombay Tiffanys annexe. Devaraj urs Road, namma Mysuru... For a royal dose treat.

Loved the Rava dosa😍. Uncle prepared it very nicely. Amazing chutney. Took the chutney twice and they gladly gave it without charging extra. Amazing chai😍what can I say about the taste. I thanked them before leaving. Beautiful people.🤗
No proper seating and frm years iam visiting this place. Its same the every day. Benne masal dose is vibe here. And with that.. the sambar served here is love ❤️

This is one of the oldest Dosa point and this place has the best masala dosa and hard chutney (they don't pour water) Sambhar was very sweet, All the dosas here are served with butter, and other items are fair enough but there is no seating here it's more like fast food you have to stand and have food.
Visited this after 12 years and the Masala dose took me back, if you are from bay area you'll know what a real Masala dosè will look like and taste like ( unlike the paper thin soggy ones we get there ). Atmosphere is always busy coz of the location but enjoyed our dosè due to the great taste.

Found this place while doing a Mysore food tour. This place is very popular with locals. And I understand why! Big crispy dosas with perfect masala filling and coconut chutney. Mmmmm! Our tour guide made sure ours was made vegan, but I am not sure if that’s easy if you don’t speak the language. There is no place to sit, but we enjoyed the street food experience. So if you want great local food, this is definitely your place.
Place serves amazing and varities of dosas. All dosas butter will be added. They use Nandini butter and ghee. Masala dosa is crispy and delicious. They also serve Tomato dosa, Palak dosa and multigrain dosa. They don't have seating arrangements.
Nice food but not so good service due to extreme rush during the weekends... avoid going during weekends.
But still some of the best dose found here ..so must try for dosa lovers
