Although being a vegetarian outlet it has a lot of interesting options available here. Ambiance and lighting of the restaurant seems to be well planned as well. Good place for a family dine out.
So, i visited this place on my last day at Mysore before flying back to Mumbai and the only reason we went here for was to enjoy their Thali. However, to our disappointment, Thali here is not served on weekends I believe. We hence ordered Methi Mutter Malai, Assorted Platter of Naans and Rotis, Refreshing Chaas and Veg Tawa Bhaji. Honestly, more than the food, the quick service and prompt courteous staff is what we adored. Food was also good however it was bit pricy comparing it to other fine dining restaurants in the same area.
Cost for two: Rs 800/- inclusive of all

I heard a lot about this place from my colleagues. Though they have less area of seating they have managed well. Service was quick. Staff was cooperative. Ambience was decent. We tried potli biryani which was perfectly cooked and served with raita and green chutney. The paan shot was the usp of the place which was served to us at the end. Dal was not upto the mark it was over cooked. Breads was okaish. Overall experience was good.
Very tasty food. Service was also great. 5 rating from my side.
The place is too noisy sometimes. Price is more but worth it.
Must a visit place.
Excellent food here.. some dishes were a tad on the Salter side but otherwise great food. Decent ambience and good service. I can see why this place is popular with the locals.

The food here is fantastic. The service is great too. The day we went, the some other table was very noisy, so the ambience wasn't that great.
Must try - Lazeez khumb, Paneer tikka lababdar and Nargis kofta.
Tamater shorba and baked rasgulla is amazing too.
We found this restaurant on zomato while in search for a good vegetarian restaurant. We opted for a complete Thali and it was delicious and sufficient in quantity. We also tried this refreshing mocktail Electric Shock. In the end they serve tasty Pan Shots. Service was quick and ambience was normal. I would suggest every vegetarian in the city to visit this at least once.
A very nice place in terms of ambience. 90s songs were played in background. Ordered the daily menu thaali and an electric shock welcome drink. Had some 15 items in thaali and all were good. The staff was nice. Goes for more of 4.5 rating. From perspective of costs as well it was good.
If you are in search of a good vegetarian restaurant in Mysore then no doubt u can trust this place with all your heart
We ordered Electric Shock, The Original and Baked Roshogolla
Β° Electric Shock is a refreshing drink which you should not miss if you are in this restaurant. The color of this drink is just so appealing that after seeing it you can't resist yourself from having it.
Β°The Original is a Classis Swicheese fondue which will be prepared in front of you and served with potato wedges and bread crumbs. If you are a cheese lover like me do try these fondues
Β°The baked roshogolla was average. Being a Bengali myself, belonging from the state of Roshogollas(Kolkata) I was not happy with this dish.

Ts is a gud choice fr vegetarian restaurant..all food r so yummy ..the way they present the food is beautiful..u fell like eating it..many new dishes r available here like fondue, sizzling brownie nd many more
Visited this place after a short visit to mysore. As promised italy meets indian. New exciting menu not even found in other cities . Taste is equally good and the service is great . The only thing they can improve in is ambience and hygiene. The rest is all good.
We went there for a family members birthday. Very royal and old world feel, but all sorts of dishes are there. A treat for the vegetarian foodie.
Loved the food :) The portions were good and dishes were lip smacking. We ordered for capsicum stuffed cheese, paneer tikka rara masala ,biryani and dal khichdi. No complaints , everything was awsome . I loved this branch more than the bangalore one
Awesome food with a good ambience.Tried their Reshmi Malai Paneer, Paneer Teen Swad and some good sizzlers. Don't forget to drink the Paan shots !
Probably the best vegetarian restaurant in town. Not the spiciest food, but great range. Some of the dishes are very, very good. Recommended.
I am from Hyderabad and i had already eaten in jalpaan, i was amazed to see their branch in mysore. Jalpaan offers one of the best vegetarian foods and one thing that makes it stand apart is the variations they have in their menu. I had some italian dishes and the best one was the Margerita fondue. 'Chandan sharbat' is a must try.
Ambience 3/5, food 4.5/5, service 4/5
A known top-vegetarian restaurant in Mysuru. Thought of giving it a try since I am on a Veg diet! Ordered the popular - potli biryani! Prepared and presented in a very unique manner, deep fried using poori dough, this biryani is outstanding! Extremely tasty, very well prepared! Overall ambience is soothing and relaxing and the service is polite and good! Looks like a good family restaurant. Do try!
A regular dining place for our family. Never disappoints in taste or service. The food is yum and wonderful π always. Lip smacking karera Palak chat and papdi pizza are must taste and not to forget the ananas ka panna
Nice food.. best vegetarian cuisine in Mysore.
Loved the ambience.. been there several times.
My favourite dish is basil pomodoro soup. Don't miss it

Is there unlimited buffet for lunch or dinner in your restaurant and if yes what is the cost for one individual for veg as well as non veg buffet?
One of the fine places to dine in Mysore with good ambience and services. The food served here is quite delicious and is fairly expensive. As far as the quantity is concerned, it is sumptuous. I would recommend you to try out the Harabhara kebab here, I loved it!!
You can never leave disappointed from here, you could try anything and everything and itβll taste amazing. Id totally recommend it.
Taste - 5/5
Recommend dishes- Bhutta Cigar, White sauce Pasta, potli biryani, chefs special dal, Crispy corn
Good ambience and food ... They have many options if someone wants to have Jain food... Risotto soup was very nice....For starters we ordered marinated paneer it was just ok...Had some roti and Rai wali bhindi subzi for main course and they were good...
Wide range of starters.. bhutta cigar, Swiss fondue, pav bhaaji fondue.. pastas pizzas are nice.. Potli Biryani with raita was really awesome..
I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the aura of this place.
We had ordered masala papads, papdi pizza, dahi kebab, butta k ciggdi, birbal khichdi, hot n sour soup, momos soup, Annas panna.
All the items were simply succulently mouth watering. The service offered was flawlessly classy.
One must try this place. To my surprise, we were offered complementary Paan shots towards the end.
Amazingly delicious.
They had varieties of Paan as well in the downside or towards the entrance of the building.
Chocolate Paan was yum. π€
We are fan of Jaalpan in mysore and Bangalore as well, they have maintained the same taste across there outlets.
Pappdi pizza a must try in this location also.

This is my all time favourite place for dining out. Itβs perfect for family dinners and the food is really good! This place has never been disappointing!
A good hygienic restaurant on JLB road which serves both Indian and Italian food. The north Indian dishes are quite impressive. The soups, salads and starters are the must try elements. The mocktails are also a good try for beverages. The sizzlers are fine and the pasta is cooked really well. The ambience is good with courteous staff
Beautiful ambience and decent staff. Mostly crowded if you reach during the peak hours in evening or late afternoon. Need to reserve table if your trip is planned to save time on waiting. Good here is delicious. Especially the starters are finger licking good. Only the main course dishes disappointed me a little bit as all tasted same in sweet tomato gravy. Variety of biryani is also good. Tried their Tiranga biryani it was really yum.
Went here for lunch.Good place for North Indian food. Their curries actually have a North Indian taste unlike other restaurants in South India.
AMBIENCE: 2/5
This place is located on the second floor of a building, it's not really big; also there's no proper parking due to the busy street. Go at your own risk. Nothing great to mention about feel, decor and ambience. Despite being ordinary it doesn't feel cheap. The seating is limited and you might have to wait for a table. Fortunately it wasn't so crowded as we went here for lunch and therefore got a table soon.
FOOD: 3/5
The food here although not too amazing or lip smacking is pretty good according to South North Indian standards if you know what I mean. The paneer curry was decent and breads were soft and hot. The taste could be improved though, it wouldn't harm if the gravy had been more thick, rich and buttery; but nonetheless it was not bad.
SERVICE: 4/5
Good, prompt service and efficient waiters.
VALUE FOR MONEY: 3/5
The menu is priced just right, neither cheap nor too expensive. But there's nothing special about this place to visit it again and again. You can try it out and see for yourself.
One of da most favourite n usual visiting restaurant in mysore...
Love the signature dishes n starters n desserts.. .especially jalpan plotter n thali.....
Service ok ok...
Ambiance good...
The service is really quick. The staffs are extremely helpful with the dishes to order and are well mannered. The food is very tasty here. My personal favourite being the dal makhani, butter naan and kadai paneer.
Being a tourist one needs a place with a homely environment and this place doesn't fail to provide that feeling.
The best jalpaan outlet better than the ones in Bangalore very polite and informative staff north indian tastes really very good ! The pan shots is too die for !

Good food and decent ambience...liked the food....the staff were professional and quick to react and had the patience to understand what exactly the guest is looking for....
A reliable place for lunch or dinner, we have never been disappointed here. The North Indian food is very tasty and quantities as well as variety are sufficient. Itβs pure veg so perfect for veggies. The paan shot he serves at the end is a perfect way to end every meal!
Every cuisine offered here comes with a desi twist. The north Indian food is a delight and almost authentic. The pot biriyani and fondue are a must try. The ambience is very good. The service is good as well. There is very little parking space. If you are looking for decent vegetarian food look no more.

i was very impressive with their signatures dishes, they have lot many signatures dishes of their own in the menu which are prepared and presented in a unique fashion.
we tried few items, Jalpaan platter was awesome, it was a platter of assorted starters with nice presentation, i'd recommend for anyone who visit this place to try it and you'd love it.
another signature dish that we tried was the potli biryani, which is actually a biryani cooked inside a big poori, they have mocked up bar area where they prepare and serve only fruit juices and non alcoholic mocktails.
coming to ambiance, the seating and the floor are good, but the lighting is terrible, dim and dull lighting, almost felt like having the food with emergency lights ON during the power cuts.
"just! put on more lights, make the place more brighter, it definitely makes people feel more good"
Service is just okay, they can improve in paying more attention towards the customers. food prices on the menu are little expensive, overall a very good dining place for vegetarians

Good ambience and service. We ordered vegetarian thalis and they were quite scrumptious. Enough variety and palak paneer was especially good. Meal ended with ice cream and paan shot which did taste real and not just flavored. A very good experience in our Mysore visit.
Food - 4.5/5
Ambience - 4/5
Service - 3.5/5If you are searching for any veg family restaurant in mysore, then your search ends here. The only thing which makes me worry about this dining resto is that if you are going here on weekends, then the waiting time may reach upto 1 hour. But after you end up reaching the table, each and every food is good. Paneer Tikka, coriander soup(recommended), dal makhani, breads everything tasted delicious.
One of the good vegetarian places in Mysore. I particularly like the jalpaan starter platter itβs pretty huge and filling. It has mostly everything from paneer tikka to crispy baby corn to kebabs. The tawa subzi and paneer lababdar ate tasty. Their Chinese started are all very good. The complementary pan drink that they give at the end is amazing.

Must try- Potli biryani, Gutta cigar, panner lababdar
It is a small place and well organised.
Good family restaurant β€οΈ
It is usually crowded during afternoons.
If you want to peacefully eat and enjoy the food reach early to the place..
One of the best family restaurants out there.
Starter - Butta Cigar.. very new kinda combination and they both complimented well.
Main course- panner tikka curry and naan . Very well cooked and tasty.
Potly biryani - will definitely catch Ur eye.. it's a must try ull love it.
At the end.. pan shots are also interesting. Overall a very good place to visit especially with families.
Would give this place a 3.5 but the service was pretty good.
Went here for dinner.
Loved the Buddha statue in the front.
The table arrangements was lil closer to each other.
We had got
The cigar - this was a let down.
It could have been a little more crisper.
Nachos - is between good and OK.
The main course was perfect.
White paste was cooked to perfection.
We also got a margarita pizza - the best in the whole meal.
Costed 1000+ for the above.
Vfm - 3.5/5
Good food, fast service, a Lil expensive but it still ok while the rest is taken care.
Tasted the gobi manchurian, garam aloo tikki, dimsim, pani puri, a couple of mocktails, paneer makani , butter nans etc.
We Ordered strawberry icecream, and wanted to cancel, thou the order was still not passed to the main , they didnt wanna to cancel it. They waiter insisted it cant, which was not so cool, otherwise overall experience fine.
During my visit in mysore tried this place and it was a good experience. Somehow forgot to review this place.
The ambience is amazing and welcoming. We went during Christmas and the decorations were really good. Menu has a wide variety of cuisines and only veg is available.
It was crowded since it was a holiday and people had lined up to get seated. We got seated soon bcoz we were only 2 of us.
We tried veg ball Manchurian and it was okayish. Nothing great about the starters. I felt that authentic Chinese flavour was missing. We ate Italian thin crust pizza and liked it. The taste was good and the cheese was melted perfectly.
We tried potli biriyani and it was a little disappointing. Didn't like the taste. The masala was very different and somehow it wasn't that great.
They gave us pan shots at last as a complimentary and it was something different and good. Overall a good place in mysore to spend with family.
Very good and nice food served hear πππππ...........................β¦...................................................................
One of the best 'only veg' restaurants in Mysore.fast service ,delicious food.Weekends, its quite difficult to get in though..too much rush..
A tad bit expensive.. I like the arabiata pasta here and many north Indian sabzis. even afternoon thali s decent.
The liquid pan is super.
I'm not from Mysore and our tourist guide and Zomato suggested this place.
Amazing food. From the starters to desserts everything was nice..
Although Italian was not as overwhelming ad Indian food was. The pan jalpan delight was my favorite in particular.
The food taste and the quantity justify their pricing.
A good bet especially if you are from North India and miss North Indian food while traveling in South India.
Best vegetarian restaurant in town.!! It is slightly towards the high end but it is totally worth it :) The starters, the shorbas, the Indian breads, the mocktails, the desserts are just beyond perfection.! I strongly recommend this place for dinner :)
Must try dish- Potli Biryani.!!!
Great prices for the quantity served. Ambience was great, tastes and service are up to the mark. Docked a point because the location is a little inconvenient
Food is really good. Its worth spending on mocktails here.please do not expect for the ambience . Want a tasty food than this place is the best in mysore. Service is good. People are prompt.
Went for lunch here. It's a good place with an ambience to match. The menu here is varied, from north Indian to Mexican to Chinese to Continental. We ordered a paneer starter, can't remember the name now, but it was delicious. The paneer wasn't as soft as I would have liked, but nevertheless, it was tasty. The broccoli soup was good and so were the quesadillas.
For the main course, we ordered Amritsari kulchas, kadai vegetable and paneer gravy. All of these were yummy! We didn't order dessert as we were full to the brim and to help us with that, the restaurant served a paan drink at the end of our meal. It was a nice surprise and delicious too!
Overall, a great place to eat when in Mysore.
Arguably the best place to have vegetarian food in mysore. I would say it is a bit overpriced but the quality of food you get here compensates that. There used to be a buffet for around Rs.250 before, maybe 5 years back which was literally worth it. Overall one of the best restaurant's with great ambience in Mysore .
Good place to have vegetarian delicacies ( Northindian/ Punjabi) ... lot of choices... service was quick ... food was above average... I visited here for a quick lunch and had thali lunch .... quantity and quality was good ... I feel roti was bit dry..... otherwise it was good experience
An amazing taste, had ordered
1) Assorted platter excellent 5/5
2) Italian Salad 5/5
3) Pasta was finger licking food 5/5
4) Roti and Dhal 5/5
Ambiance and staff 5/5
Looking forward to visit try more food options
Great place. Small. And always busy. One thing that you will observe when you are here is the decor. It's quite amazing. Small tables. Nd there are a lot of servers :D Surprisingly many of them. Which is good. Because more servers means better service. And yes. The response was really good. I never had to serve myself. That's one thing I really loved. Food was good. Lot of masala. And at the end of the dinner, they serve a complimentary Liquid Paan. Which was surprisingly good.
The food is absolutely delicious. Ever considering trying a mocktail? Try Lip to Lip, it gives you a foodgasm. Their buffet is totally worth the cash, they can work on their ambience.
Very sober ambience... A bit constrained space than expected... However, the taste, the presentation, quality and quantity was just finger licking good... Service was quite good... We tried the papdi pizza, cheesy veg disc, potli biryani, crispy noodles wid garlic sauce, butter kulcha, subzi kheema and icon of love and melon breeze (mocktails)... Evry dish was seriously droolicious... A must visit... Repeat visit by us is a definite yes!
This a fantastic restaurant for vegetarians, a family restaurant. The continental cuisine is commendable. Being a non vegetarian, this is one of the 2 places I would go for a veg restaurant.
Perfect place to dine out either with family or friends . Highlight of the place is candle light dinner . Delicious food and service is also wonderful.Must eat out place in mysore
After a long tiring journey from Wayanad, we decided to have the dinner here.Β
The place is located not far away from the palace and the ambience of the place is perfect.
Buddha statue at the enterance and claasy view will make you sit for a hour atleast.
The service was a bit slow but the taste of the food made up for it.Β
The dishes are amazing and the starters also are completely filling with good quantity being served.
We ordered Pesto Pizza, Dar Tadka, Panner item, Fried rice and butter roti.
All were great in taste.
The ambiance and food was great. However it is more crowded during the weekend which means the service could be slow. Not a good place for Chinese cusine. Do try the potli biryani which was yummy and well presented.
Awesome ambience and tasty food...bit expensive..wide variety of food..friendly staff...went on a holiday..was crowded..needs pre booking...
Good ambience.
candle light dinner
Mocktailsl are best should have.
Dal makhan is average.
But tava paneer is a must.
Should visit.

Overwhelmed by the taste and variety. Opted for weekday special thali priced at Rs. 235. Everything on the plate was exceptional. Special mention for the mix veg gravy. Truly amazing. Only thing that needs attention is service. Waiters lacked interest in serving. All you expect is a smiley face serving you. Keep up the good work.
After a long tiring journey from Bangalore, we decided to have the lunch here. The place is located not far away from the palace and the ambience of the place is perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. The service was a bit slow but the taste of the food made up for it. The Punjabi dishes are amazing and the starters also are completely filling with good quantity being served.
Pure vegetarian with proper north indian food available. The taste is quite good. Ambience is okay.
Wide range of products available and service is good
The one restaurant in Mysuru where you can find authentic Jain food. Ambience is good and chats taste well done. The fondue comes highly recommended.
Fantastic food quality and varied menu items.
The chef has planned the menu extremely well and the presentation of each dish is an art work.
Every dish has its own way of getting presented with apt cutlery being used for each items
We went twice to the same place during our short stay in Mysore.
Special mention to the cheesecake. Delicious taste and beautiful presentation
Went with a family for dinner and I must say they have plenty of options in veg. We randomly ordered few starters from the menu and all were quite delicious. Must try Cheesy Vegetable disc, Bhutta Cigar, Chef special Sizzler etc. Pricing feels reasonable for such a nice food quality they serve. Restaurant staff is quick in service and thorough professional. Overall ambience is average and they can improve to make it a wonderful experience.
We were visiting Mysuru for short while and were famished and somehow we ended up in this fabulous Resturant. The Menu Card and the ambience were ready to whet our appetite. We ordered food which came forth expedite, and the taste left us satiated and grateful simultaneously. We spoke to the owner and expressed our gratitude. He is a humble soul. Later, we ate pans at the loquacious Pan wallah downstairs. Could we ask for made? Paisa wasool 100%

Explored this veg restaurant today as part of our Mysuru trip, one of the good places to have vegetarian food in the city - with medium to high costing per person and taste amazing.
We ordered
Masala papad roasted - avg taste
Plain roti and butter roti - nice preparation & cooked well
2 gravies - Jantar Mantar & Subzi Tilli Milli Keema - nice preparation and went well with the roti's
Tamatar Shorba - nice soup
Matka Biryani - Medium spiced and nice blend of masala that is not heavy
Primavera Pizza - Good and usual
This is recommended for all vegetarians who have extra length to go further for spending on quality food.
This place is now under new management and new name tries to bring in some freshness. Rajbhog what they call their grand thali is filling and best possible variety. Finally the paan shots which they offer is outstanding. We felt like repeating it and it was worth it. A good place to explore with your family. Deserts are good you may try one or two.
Their chats are worth trying. Quick service and exceptionally good
Great place. The food was amazing . If you don't get any menu names , don't assume like us , please ask the server, he will explain what are the ingredients in the item. I really loved the Tamatar soup. And image is not non veg , its veg , the restaurant is pure veg π it's called Baby corn fries.
Vegetable disc was yum β¦ spinach corn cheese balls was ok ok ..
Would give 4/5, because the food was good and the taste was also nice. The service was a little fast like each item was coming so rapidly one after the other. Also itβs a very nice place for a perfect family dine in.
At the end the signature Paan shot is the perfect ending drink and one shouldnβt miss it .
Must try :
Paneer tikka
Daal khichdi
Palak chaat
Rest items were good π
Nice restaurant with good food and good service. They serve mainly North Indian dishes. Overall a good restaurant.
Good veg food. Waiters are very well behaved and service is excellent.

Nice place to try North indian dishes! Had just stuffed paratha and butter naan along with dal Makhani and Nargisi kofta. Tasted pretty good! Long waiting was avoidable as there is sufficient place in the 3rd floor, which is not optimally utilized..
Food is very good and served very quickly. Have some interesting not so common dishes. Very good place for vegetarians. Particularly liked Broccoli soup and Chitti aayi hai, a very nice starter.
Good place for dining north Indian thali. Unique menu with delicious taste. Not pocket friendly. But the quantity matches the price paid. 1 meal or thali can be shared by 2 since the quantity is more. Noisy place. Great place to visit with family and friends. Usually very busy during lunch time. You can't order any lunch or anything after 3pm. You have to wait again for dinner time.
Best place for vegetarians who would prefer North Indian Dishes, Great varieties of dishes and also very tasty. A must visit place if you are a veg north Indian cuisine lover.
Nice restaurant with good food and good service.
Very Good dining place for vegetarians. You'll get lot of vegetarian options. Starters are excellent for those who doesn't like barbecue restaurants because of the fact that it is both veg and non veg. This is the place to head towards to try something new. Couple of items were overpriced or needs improvement I felt that's the reason to reduce 1 Star. But overall one of the best in town.
