This medical felicitation center is a conversion of a hotel into a diagnostic center. The facilities are good but the service is poor. The staff are not professional and they lack customers concern. The service is very confusing,waiting area service is very bad, the customers will be asked to sit outside exposed to the sun in worn chairs, require more professional touch

Despite being a resident of Mysore for over a decade we never had an opportunity to visit KVC Hospital. We were recently referred to this hospital in Krishna Vilasa Road for an operation by our trusted family physician Dr Karthik Udupa. The internet reviews were not giving good impression about the hospital. Hence we were skeptical about getting into a hospital with not so great reviews. Our experience is far from what is written mostly in the reviews. In order that it may help patients looking for a caring hospital, we thought it is important that we put our review without bias or favour. And most importantly, it is written suo motu from our side, and NOT as a response to any request, nor a hint of it, from the hospital or the Surgeon. Dr Deepak Gowda, Surgeon Gastroenterology, to whom we we were referred to, is an exceptionally talented professional with a caring heart. A soft spoken gentleman and a man with a few, yet soothing, words, carries great responsibilities on his shoulder, nay his fingers, and is easily approachable for the patients at large. What distinguishes him from the crowd is that he is sans the air of arrogance and impatience or irritancy seen, understandably, in most successful professionals. The nurses in the third floor are trained to be sympathetic and responsible. They go about their job systematically without much noise and the visiting doctors are equally helpful, if not more. We attribute it to the leadership of the hospital for having set the right examples and nurturing the right environment for the teams to emulate. The hospital has a sense of cleanliness ingrained in it and that is very helpful. There are a few areas that the hospital might look to improve as these are like distractions in an otherwise we'll managed hospital. We list them in the hope that it might be helpful to the Management: A. Both OPD and Diagnostic center need an administrative process review to make the system responsive and sympathetic. Bringing in technology and bringing about ongoing training as well as recognising stars amongst the staff might be helpful to bring about improvements in this regard. B. The canteen at the fourth floor is not well maintained. This is likely to have a cascading effect on the other floors. We see traces of effect, of the unkempt environment in the fourth floor, showing up in third floor. This will require urgent intervention as the canteen is outsourced. Despite these minor distractions, which can be easily rectified, we believe KVC is one of the best hospitals and most importantly, a truly caring hospital.

Contrary to the negative reviews, I found the staff to be very cooperative and also the hardcopy of reports were available as per the scheduled time. I went for USG, Endoscopy and blood test.

One of the best diagnostic centre & multi speciality hospital with great service by experienced staff & nurses doctors they attend the patient very fast & dedicated service & medicines available in the hospital rates are reasonable ! They have very good lab fecilities with modern equipment to all kinds of medical problems !

Ct scan,dental x-ray,blood test,urine test, x-ray are available.wash room is there,sitting place,drinking water is there,parking less space,if u go near maharani PU college u will find it,near to Ramaswamy circle and Metropole too.receptionist is there,within 2 hours you will get report,I got ct scan report within 1 hr ,

Very good CT scan service during covid times. Gave my film and report within 22 minutes. Accurate findings as well
