I have tried every icecream sundae and scoop on their menu and these icecreams are exquisite.
My personal favourite is the Death by chocolate, followed by the Blackforest with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The price is right, The taste is right, The presentation is awesome and service is good.

DBC is very famous here. And rest are just done normal ice creams. And DBC is too much for one person, so sharing is the best. Other than DBC, CRISPY CHOCOLATE MALT ice cream is the best and light ice cream. After tasting this ice cream never give back for DBC again. And the worst ice cream according to me is mint fudge🤢

Corner house has an unintended nostalgic charm to it. It is a reminder of the age old indian ice cream parlours from the 90s, something that is gradually diminishing with all the international brands coming in.
The menu is plentiful for a simple ice cream session but if your expectations are of the likes of Baskin Robbins, then you're at the wrong place.
I usually go for my regular banana split sundae or a litchi delight here. It's nothing too fancy. Just simple plain vanilla ice cream, the kind that you grew up eating.
Stressed?? Have a sip of CHOCOLATE THICK SHAKE and all your stress gone. Best place to have icecreams, desserts and what not. Bit expensive.

The Death By Chocolate is the best ice cream I have ever tasted; though expensive. If your planning to get dessert after lunch/dinner this is the place to go. I would highly recommend it; not pocket friendly.

Visited Corner House as part of our short Mysore vacation and it did not disappoint!
Ordered Brownie Fudge sundae, choc-a-mocha sundae, royal butterscotch, brown bomb, cake a mocha, cake fudge, Choco milkshake and a scoop of choco europa.
The brownie was warm and pairing it with the vanilla ice cream made it better! We had problems with the fudge though. There was so much of it, we could hardly taste anything else. We asked the guy making it to reduce the amount of fudge while he made it but he didn't seem to care. The peanuts add a good crunch.
The choc-a-mocha had a nice coffee taste to it. Again, same problem with the fudge.
The butterscotch sundae unlike all the others had almonds and it tasted decent. Not too sweet.
The brown bomb and cake fudge again had too much chocolate fudge. We understand that it's banned Chocolate fudge, but the amount of fudge in them is off putting!
The shake was nice and thick! Would have liked it to be colder though.
The choco europa tasted normal.
Overall, decent place. Good prices. Service and staff needs to be improved.

i usually don't write reviews for these franchise restaurents,but this one deserves a review.I happened to visit this place in the evening and it was beautiful.Simple seating but it was spacious and airy.Very quiet neighbourhood and the bustling crowd is a miss here because of the place being so spacious.You can enjoy your ice cream peacefully.The ice creams are as good as any corner house is.

Been here two times. First time had a Death By Chocolate Signature Sundae, wow that was a lot, was eating after already heavy lunch, somehow managed to finish the sundae on a weekday. Second time came few weeks later with a friend, I tried Cake Fudge which was yum.

The place is very simplistic in ambience. Corner House reflects the qualities of South Indian culture in the way they operate. No show. No oomph. Just efficient and quality service. I've been a fan of corner house since a while now. We ordered my favorite Apricot with cream and ice cream. Along with that we ordered a chocolate mint fudge, probably coz we were in a funky mood that day 🤔. As the name of the place suggests, we snuck into our corner seats and dug in. Apricot and cream was like biting into a piece of sugary cloud. Light, fluffy and oh so refreshing! Maybe falling in love feels something like that 😌.
The mint fudge ice cream, as radioactive as it looks, was actually too strong to gobble up. The mint was sharp and combined with the ice cream's cold was difficult to take in. The flavors went a little too overboard. Maybe, just maybe if the guys behind the counter had been more liberal with the chocolate instead of the mint syrup, I would've had a different story to tell.
For me, this journey was of meeting an old loved friend and of failing to make a new one 😬
Still a fan of this brand. Still not shy to take a new adventure in their menu.

One of the best dessert parlors in town to satiate your sweet tooth is the "Corner House". Ducked into a neat corner in Jayalakshmipuram, this parlor sells the best ice-cream sundaes. Ample car parking space is a big plus point, while the limited seating arrangement is a minus point. But, this is forgiven owing to the most awesome ice-creams they sell :)
On my most recent visit to the Corner House, I was introduced to their new "Dark Chocolate Truffle with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sauce". I couldn't think of anything beyond ordering this. I also ordered a single scoop of 'Rum & Raisins' and a fresh mango milkshake.
The chocolate truffle was exotic. The combination of the warm chocolate truffle and cold vanilla ice-cream was heavenly. In my opinion, the portion of the ice-cream is small. This makes the chocolate overpowering on your senses!
The fresh mango milkshake was thick and tasty. But a little expensive, in my opinion.
The rum & raisin scoop was decent.

My favourite Ice Cream center in town. This place opened in Mysore when I was a kid and it is still the first place that comes to my mind when I have to celebrate an occasion or hang out with friends. I love the DBC and the brown bomb. If you are a chocolate lover this place has the best fudge in town. They always come up with new additions and hence the menu is always fresh. BTW, who gets bored of ice cream !?

Away from all the noise of Temple road, Corner house is one stop shop for ice creams and desserts. Serving a great variety of desserts, Corner House has created a great name and loyal clientele for itself.
The only downer sometimes is the small seating space which gets crowded and sometimes chaotic in the evenings.
Been here a few days ago and tried Death by Chocolate and Chocolate Fudge and both were great on taste, quantity and texture. Chocolate fudge was my pick through, with a vanilla scoop base, a soft fluffy chocolate cake on top, which is then topped further with Chocolate sauce and ground nuts!!! The chill coming from the ice cream, crunchiness from the nuts, silkiness from the cake and warmth from the sauce. Just imagining it gives a sense of comfort along with craving for more kinda feeling...
The service is quick in spite of steady footfalls.
The overall rating of 4 is because of the crowded seating area and few desserts being a bit expensive.
Corner House is a must visit for Mysoreans and visitors alike.

I have been to this place many times and I absolutely love it. Their ice creams are so creamy and delicious. Their cakes, fresh and fluffy! The almonds as topping are the cherries on cake!! Cost wise- slightly expensive than other ice cream parlours, but worth it for the quantity they serve.
If its a hot sunny day and you are looking to refresh ,corner house is the place to go, once you step into this icecream parlour you have a wide variety of desserts to choose from. I prefer the DBC over everything else , nothing is better than vanilla icecream and chocolate syrup on a summer afternoon.
Sometimes less is more,and corner house's décor follows the same, definitely simple and small, yet very inviting. It is one of the best places for dessert ,for me, although I hope that the Mysore branch could include mousse and cream as in the Bangalore branch.

Aroma of roasted nuts coming out of the kitchen was welcoming. As suggested by my friend, we ordered Death By Chocolate and Caramel Sundae. True to its name, Death by Chocolate was way too Chocolatey and being a Chocolate lover, I had no complaints and I did finish it in no time. Caramel Sundae was good too.

Aah i remember reading reviews online and going to this place on a sunny afternoon in March and ordering a DBC for myself not knowing that i will be subjected to infinite amount of chocolate ice cream , chocolate toppings and chocolate syrup. and was the first time ever i had to say enough and leave some ice cream in the cup.
A top place with a wide variety of ice cream at value for money prices and the preparation is good too. There is a decent place with shade to sit outside and enjoy your ice cream with around 7-8 tables i guess.
Must try items include Trilogy and Death by Chocolate.
P.S:- Takeaway not recommended for far away places as the ice cream melts pretty early even for the mysore climate

With outdoor sitting and self service this place has quite a variety of desserts to jump in. Service is fast. Ordered for cafe caramel and nutty chocolate. Cafe caramel was quite a new item for me and it was really good with a swirl of caramel and coffee over the scoop.
Would love to suggest addition of customization from the customer side to sundae line up, like ibaco ice cream parlor once had in Mysore.
This is undoubtedly the 'Pabbas' of Mysore.

I would consider this place as one of the best Ice Cream Parlors in Mysore. In fact it won't be wrong to call it the very best but then I feel Polar Bear gives it a close competition.
Ambience wise it's actually present in a very calm locality and it gives you an old school feel when you enter. It has very minimal furniture for accommodating around 20 people at a go in a verandah like looking place. The walls are covered with old pictures of monuments of Bangalore and Mysore. You enter further inside to find the serving counter, which is a little congested but it's not a big deal since all you gotta do there is order stuff. When it's over crowded you can just come out and stand on the pavement, which feels more like the part of the parlor.
I've always been there during night and have always ordered Ice Creams. Two of the most famous ice creams here are:
1. DBC or Death By Chocolate - It's too chocolaty, in fact so much that by the end of it you'll probably have to get a single vanilla scoop to get it a bit diluted. Served with nuts and brownie and hot chocolate sauce.
2. Trilogy - Definitely not as boring as it sounds, it is a sundae made out of three scoops (of your choice for a minimal payment) and nuts and fruits and jelly. It's hard for one person to finish it all alone but if there are more than two, you'll generally end up fighting for the litchis in it. Happens every damn time, no matter who I go with!
They have self service so there's nothing much to talk about it. Ice cream is served in sturdy plastic containers. I just feel it's a bit overpriced. It's almost as costly as a casual dine in restaurant in Mysore.
If you're an ice cream lover, this is definitely to be visited spot for you!

I came to know about this place after an extensive search for ice creams in Mysore. I love ice creams and this place made my cravings fulfilled. I tried Hot Caramelo Pudding which was amazing. Its served with scoops of butter scotch ice cream and a soft hot cake with loads of hot caramel drenched all over. It was perfect just the way I like it. I always try to have new things, so I ordered lychee with cream which was served with fresh lychees and some fresh cream. I even tried their Death By Chocolate, it was an amazing dose chocolate. The Corner House is well, a house on the corner of a street. They are famous for their Sundaes and having been egged on by colleagues I paid a visit.
We went there after dinner and so were denied the opportunity to sit in their small dining area and have our Sundaes.
I had heard a lot about their Death By Chocolate but reading the description did not excite me at all. I was more tempted by a Mocha Ice-Cream and Brownie sundae while my friend opted for the Hot Brownie Fudge.
I did not find either to be deserving of overflowing plaudits. Yes, they tasted good, as do all sundaes with Brownie, nuts and hot chocolate sauce, but nothing extraordinary.

Best ice cream parlour I have been to in INDIA. Among the chocolate based sundaes, Death by Chocolate and Brown Bomb are a must have. Trilogy was a good fruity sundae. Do not fill up on main course before you visit the place, the sundaes are really filling and can be a meal in itself.
