I am from Bangalore and I travel all the way till Mysore just to have this burger definitely one of the places that one should visit without fail when in Mysore. The place is cozy. The only place I make sure I visit every single time I am in Mysore. Well I also make some family and friends pack and bring it to Bangalore. It's just so different from a normal burger you get anywhere and you just wana go back for more. The pizza is really good too.

Well just visited this place with one of my foodiiee friend. The best burger ever I had till now. The best burger shop in mysore. The place is small with limited seats. Quite rainny day, the sand smell with hot burger the best ever combination. Tasted a veg regular burger , its a simple burger with a stuffing of a tikki and lots of mayonnaise , had one bite it justed melted in my mouth the stuffing inside with the tikki was with perfect species and with a simple mayonnaise which gives you all the taste , the burger is full of mayonnaise and it's tastes yummy.

Favorite among the burger lovers in Mysore. I am not a big burger fan but just tagged along with my friends to this place.
It's a small restaurant and very famous in the area and this place is always crowded. The couple who own the restaurant are very friendly and always smiling. Ever since I moved to Mysore I have been to this place many times now. I have tried all their veg burgers and I really like their bean burger. The veg burger patty is too oily. Apparently the non veg burgers are better than the veg burgers in Down Town. So when in mysore, you feel like having some veggie or meaty, scrumptious burger, Down Town is the place you can head to!

Discovered this place when I was venturing out in Mysore for good food. Dont know why I was craving for a good burger and I was told about this old place in Mysore. I went there on a Monday not knowing they were closed. Was very unhappy. However after some weeks I made a trip to Mysore and went in when they were opened. This place is set up in a small establishment with little seating space. Though space is never a problem here. I have ordered Chicken burger with mayonnaise (small). Their Mayonnaise is nothing but coleslaw with extra mayonnaise. After that I ordered lamb burger with cheese. Here there are two types of burgers.
1. Type of Bun Small and Bionic(Large)
2. Mayonnaise Filling or Cheese Slice
You can have both fillings on extra payment.

I have been frequenting this place since I was a kid. Its run by a friendly couple and kudos to them for maintaining the quality all these years. I don't live in mysore anymore but if there is anything I crave for it is mum's food and a downtown burger. Yeah.. that's how good it is. They still play good ol rock and retro. Try the Lamb burger or chicken and the bionic ones if you like your burgers big. The chicken roll and the bean roll are yumm too.
A small and cute fast food joint, with nice rock music. My wifey insisted that Down Town serves the best burgers in town and must say I was nt disappointed. The pricing of burgers seems steep for a city like Mysore. However, one must definitely try this place once.

Down Town which is an Established brand at Kalidasa Road, Mysore, is well known among the college goers and the localities. Downtown is more than 2 decade old Quick Serving Restaurant. This Restaurant got the location advantage, it is surrounding by educational hub. Lacking of Mcdonald KFC is plus point for that restaurant.

The fresh buns and excellent mayo were the highlights. I chose to eat the veg burger on both visits and liked it. Size matters! Beware the regular and "bionic" burger hardly have an inch in difference. The lamb burger tastes better than chicken burger. The chicken patty is very pasty and tasted of inferior ingredients best left to our darkest imagination. The icecream soda was ok. No chips or fries are offered with the order or in the menu. Prices are on a much heavier side. Service need to be affable towards customers. All burgers bionic size as it is already a regular sized burger. One time try place for people not from Mysore.

This place is catering to Mysoreans much before KFC or Mc.D, it started in 1991 serving the best burgers, sandwiches and rolls. So its almost near to celebrate 'Silver Jubilee'!
The ambiance is not big, hardly there are 4 tables kept there but the taste they provide is fantabulous. Though they serve sandwiches and rolls, almost all people come here to eat their yummy burgers which is what they are famous for.
They serve veg, chicken and lamb burgers in two sizes (regular and bionic). They have two sub variants in cheese option Regular Cheese and Mayonnaise (Mayonnaise sauce contains egg ). If you are not conservative about egg, I recommend you to try the Mayonnaise version as its very juicy and the sauce will start spilling out of the burger once you start eating it.

Chicken mayo burger bionic!! I have had this more than 50 times in my 4 years engineering life I feel. No multi outlet burger joints have satisfied my burger cravings like this one. Recipe is simple... Perfect patty sandwiched between fresh bun with lot of mayo n cabbage. Yet it tasted amazing. Hope I can have this 50 more times in near future :D

My favourite are Chicken rolls and Chicken burger. Love their unique taste of Mayonnaise sauce which I was a fan from those days. This time I tried Tangy Pulled Chicken Burger which tasted good.

From the time i was going to college i used to go there with friends, I got married and I took my wife and now i have a son who likes their burger as well. The taste of the burger hasn't changed a bit. Any number of burger places may open in Mysore but nothing can top Down Town when it comes to burgers.
