WHAT THEHEEBEE SAYS ABOUT GUFA RESTAURANT, MYSURU
I visited Gufa restaurant during pre-covid period for lunch on one day. It is situated in the premises of beautiful Hotel Pai Vista.
If variety of "ambiance" is what you love, then Gufa Restaurant should be an experience that you should not miss.
The interiors of restaurant are designed as a dark medieval cave structure. Once you greet the receptionist and step inside, you would feel that you are in a medieval cave. Walls have been given an amazing cave/stone like texture. Lights are dark along with some dim colorful lights here and there. On the walls you would find artificial insects and its very cold inside, just like inside an actual dark cave.
This is a multi-cuisine restaurant with good choices for everyone. To begin with we ordered Chilled beer with Lime Soda along with Starters - Peanut Masala and Sprint Rolls. For Main Course we had - Kadai Paneer and Butter Roti, Daal Fry and Rice. Food tasted very good with balanced spices and oil levels. We truly enjoyed the food.
Service is very good. Staff is attentive and caring. Manger is aware of the dishes and can help in selecting dishes suiting your liking. I have one special mention for the staff and I want to extend my gratitude to the staff and the management for this incident - my 6 yrs old kid started feeling cold inside the restaurant. We were not having any warm clothes with us. Staff members observed that she was feeling cold and hence she was not comfortable in having food. They proactively helped us in bringing a blanket from the hotel and wrapped it around my kid. We felt very happy with this heart-touching gesture of the staff. Kudos to the staff and the management for having such caring staff.

Gufha, located in a central Mysuru hotel is most definitely a restaurant set out to provide ambience and a change from the ordinary when you dine.
The food is good with clearly marked options for vegetarians and the meat lovers out there.
They have a significant range of food with a distinctive style (e.g. regions) and accompaniments to go with them. The only downside to having so many options is the confusion it creates, and I personally feel the menu could easily be rationalised for easier choice selection by the customer.
All in all, it is excellent dining, and the credit has to be given to the hardworking staff who are always happy to help.
The entire setup is that of a cave thus the naming if the restaurant , ambience is great, Had a great time .
The best food ever in Mysore
Keep up the work guys
Interior something really unusual but quite interesting; definitely offering a good justice to its name. Tried Dragon Chicken, Chicken and Mutton Biryani. Taste wise all were good, if not great. Service was slow and inattentive, may be due to the huge crowd. All in all, a good dinner in a new city. Thanks Zomato for the help finding me this restro.
Since we were staying in the hotel we had an option to order many things.
Ordered fish and chips and chilly paneer. Chilly paneer was okayish fish and chips you can skip it wasn't good at all.
However the maincourse Indian food was quite good we ordered two chicken dishes and rotis and naan. Everything was nice. They are not stingy on quantity for the price which happens mostly in hotel room order.
The breakfast buffet of the hotel was pretty simple than expected. The deserts were definitly stale. They should have given Indian sweets like mysore pak rather than hard muffins
All in all stick to the Indian dishes and you'll not be disappointed
Good place, nice ambience. Lot of varieties in Food menu and the place offers mouth watering food. A must go place in Mysore..
Cave restaurant at its best .. pretty crowded.. great ambience and loved the food.. manchow chicken soup, young chicken, chilly chicken were really yum on point spicy.... chicken Ra Ra was something different which I haven’t tasted ever, had a lil touch of sweet.. Service was very good.. 8.5/10
The food was so great and they got us complimentary drinks and brownies too lmao
The best place in mysore for date and experience something differenct. Ambience was literally like a gufha. The uniqueness of the place makes it different from others. Staff was highly professional. Service was quite good. Food served to us was fresh and hot. We order butter chicken, lasagne and breads which were amazing in taste, Highly Recommended.
The overall ambience was awesome and unique and the food quality was really good
Beautiful and hart warming ambience....both veg and non-veg food cuisines are awesome and the staff is very friendly....service is fast and staff friendly
Best concept use it is a big restaurant and the ambience is wonderful. The food tastes the best in whole mysore with reasonable price and the best thing is the fast service they provide and the staff is also nice. Visit once and you'll want to visit it again.
Visited this place this afternoon with my friends. One of the best places to hang out across Mysore. As the name goes "Gufha", it's theme was very different and interesting. We were really amazed and fascinated with the lighting and the detailed work done inside the restaurant.
We tried Lemon Paneer in starters, which was crispy & had a nice taste. In main course, we tried the combination of Dal Makhani with Tandoori Roti and Butter Naan.
The service was quite fast and the staff was well-trained and dedicated towards their work.
The place was not economical. Pricing of most of the items were high.
Would have given the 5-star rating if the place would have been economical.
Nice ambience and service . Quantity was really good. Baby manchurian was okay but veg manchurian and fried rice were good.
Biggest turn off was that the chairs were dirty, they had food spill marks.
Visited this place on a weekday and there wasn't much crowd. Food was delicious. Portion sizes could be better. Decor of the restaurant is it's main attraction
If you prefer ambience to be equally good to food while visiting a restaurant then this themed restaurant is the one for your list.
The theme has been well created and you will enjoy your meal with your family and friends.
My cave menu was Indian plus Chinese
Veg Wanton Soup
Dal Makhani
Subzi Dewani Handi
Steamed Rice
Roomali Roti
and
Stuffed Paratha
All of the above dishes were fine and had a pleasant dinner.
Food 3.9 out of 5.0
Ambience 4.3 out of 5.0
Service 3.8 out of 5.0
Awesome food experience is what we had at Gufha. It's a theme restaurant that offered really good food, probably best we had on our trip. Paneer Tikka and Murg Patiala was specifically super delicious. Staffs were really nice and the gesture of the one serving us won my heart. My daughter got scared of one of the decorative object which he removed proactively as soon as he found it. Price wise it was really decent. All in all, it satisfied the foodie in me. Thanks
So during our Mysore trip, we went to this place for lunch, going by their zomato rating. Interiors based on gufha theme were catchy at first but after sitting for some time there we found it little disturbing as it was way too dark and the aura wasn't that good. Coming to food for drinks we had mango shake and strawberry shake both were yum. For starters, we tried spring rolls which were okayish and achari baby corn which was a bit disappointing. For the main course, we had dal makhani, paneer gravy, malai kofta, roti basket, and jeera rice. Except for malai kofta, everything was good. For desserts, we had a chocolate brownie with ice cream which was too good. Overall it was a good experience in terms of food but ambiance was a little bit disappointing.
Loved this place. The ambience so different and cool. The taste of all the dishes is good but quantity is little on the smaller side. Overall, a nice place to be with family and friends.
The place is an absolute visit. Great decor which is exactly or I must say literally what the name is. Gives you the serene and refreshing feeling of caves and the delicious food just takes you somewhere. Great place to visit. Can work on little music side but it's good.
Gufha- Visited this place during my vacation to Mysore. I must say, this place is an absolute wonder. The pinnacle of human creativity. I found out about this place during my research through zomato and coincidently it was at the same hotel I was staying in- Pai Vista. This is one of the most highly revered and famous restaurants in the city. So what's the real talking point of this place ? Why am I praising it so much ? Why is it so high rated ? Well the answer to all of these questions is their ambience. They have actually managed to create a cave in the middle of the hotel. It's the best creative work I've seen till today. The cave has a number of sections and its really difficult for you to understand how big it really is. I mean when I first entered I thought it was just a room with six tables. Then I walked a little further and found another section and then another and it goes on. The attention to detail is also commendable. You can see various artifcial animals and insects hanging by the walls. Really praisworthy. The place was full and we had to wait for about 15 minutes to get a table. They serve a wide range of north indian dishes. We ordered a number of their dishes like chiken banjara kebab and hara bhara kebab and mocktails. The chiken banjara kebab was spot on and perfect. Hara bhara kebab was great as well. The mocktails were really tasty. The service is fast. The staff is polite. Good quality and quantity. Reasonable prices. A must visit place in Mysore.
A beautiful place... A wonderful ambience... Good for romantic dining as well as casual dining.. Food taste is great... Quality is also very good... Must try paneer shole kebab... Service is good as well..
Gufhaa!! A place that got very famous from when it opened and has been, till date. The interior being very creative has gone on mysore top list for places to visit. The food is good. The Indian is what you're supposed to eat here. Don't try the Chinese options it's pretty normal. Tandoor is good. Rotis are a blessing. Biriyani is above average. Ever get bored and need a better vibe. There's a door right there leads to opium. Just go there!!!
It’s a gufha @ Pai vista Mysore
Decor is nice 👍
Soups were not excellent but were not bad also 😉
Methi chicken and chicken punjabi masala were really good 👍
Surprise was Palak rice and it was enough for a family such a big portion even fried rice was also good
Dessert were icing on cake enjoyed our lunch 🥗 👍👍👍👍👍
The location of this restaurant is very prime one. It is situated opposite to Mysore KSRTC bus stand, so it is easily locatable.
The ambiance is very beautiful. The name itself suggests it - Gufha - means cave. So the whole restaurant gives you feel like you're sitting into some cave. Kudos to the ambiance. I can definitely say, this is one of the finest restaurant in Mysore in terms of ambiance.
We ordered Dum Gosht Biryani, Chicken Chandani Kabab, Murg Punjabi Tikka, Paneer Tikka Masala, Veg Jaipuri and Roti ki Tokri. Food itself was good. Everything was perfect. The taste of biryani, the tenderness of mutton and the perfect blend of spices. Biryani wasn't much spicy and was balanced in every aspect. Both the chicken starters were also different from each other in taste. Again, chicken was perfectly cooked and succulent. And now about vegetarian. I personally liked paneer tikka masala. That is my personal favorite from here. The gravy was rich, creamy and full of flavors. Veg Jaipuri, that is something I didn't like much. I didn't know the reason, but probably it is because I don't like all the veggies mixed in together. So I'll give a skip over this. Great food.
The service was prompt and courteous. It was the same as you can expect from some good restaurant like this. The cost is like not so much cheap and not very expensive as well. We were total 8 people, and the bill came up was 2250 including drinks. So yeah, you can say that the prices are pretty affordable. So yeah, we are very much satisfied by our experience. 👍
Ambiance is awesome!! Service of also great
But Food quality is okay. I ordered Kadhai Chicken, but the preparation was having Chinese flavor in it.
Beautiful ambiance , loved the gufha theme, had paneer , chicken Hyderabadi , butter roti and kulcha , delicious and loved the place ... must visit
The ambiance is just great, typical gufha and forest themes with wooden furnishing and lighting. food is really delicious. Service is to the point. A must visit. Price is a bit high for some starters which are just 4 pieces in quantity. I had been there years ago and I didn't like it because it was dark for me. But now, it does feel comfortable. I would visit there again and again. The best-themed restaurant in town.
This place was recommended by a friend and so we decided to visit it. The ambience of the place is really really cool. There were fire torches, wood carvings, fountains all around. The food was pretty decent too. The starters had unique names and presentations. I especially liked the honey coated sesame chicken.
The ambience is good if you come with a huge gang of friends and you just want to have fun. The lighting inside the restaurant is set in such a way to mimic the appearance of a cave(guffa). For chinese food lovers, this place would be a good choice. Although, there may be concerns about the cleanliness, since we are not really able to supervise properly the plates or food that is being served.
Restaurant situated nearby to the Mysore bus station , is perfect for romantic dates , and family dinner having an interesting theme of gufha with all the waiters dressed in police . They have good food with great service . They also alcohol and non veg .
The taste quality and quantity of food is delicious and remarkable.
I had a great time here would recommend this to people visiting Mysore .
Theme restaurant - decorated like a cave, ambience is very much like that. Not a very good option for claustrophobic people. Place is kind of dark.
But the kid with us found it very exciting.
He enjoyed himself throughout
Food and service are quite good.
Vegetarian food was very good.
Whatever we order was nice.
It is a place you can visit again and again if you liked it the first time.
I personally only go there if my friends want to.
Went to this place for dinner. This was the second time I was visiting this place. Last visit was in 2016 and now in 2019. Both the time my experience was quite good. Last time I had a full fledged meal but this time we thought to have only appetizers and some starters. We ordered hot and sour soup, penne red pasta and corn seekh kabab.
Soup and pasta was good and tasty. But I didn't like the corn seekh kabab much. I have tasted corn seekh kabab in many other places and usually it's quite soft and corn is mashed. But here corn pieces were added raw though which was still fine, the kabab was little hard and didn't tasted much good. Overall place is quite good and service provided is also very nice.
Rating it 4 based on my both visits.
Perfect ambience as the name suggests.Prices also reasonable and given the food quality and services.
Service is fast and staff is very corteous.Food is very tasty. Also their are many options as well.Worth a visit.
A great place to dine!! In the form a jungle cave..
Good quality of food and sorted range of Non Veg and Veg menu. Just loved the experience.
The themed restaurant gufha had really cave like atmosphere with dark cave theme. Where the managers were dressed like a hunters and the whole place was decorated with false fire, rocks and spider net.
Let's come to the food.
We ordered
1. Chicken malai kebab
2. Chicken lasgna
3. Prawn Thermidor
4. Brownie with ice cream
1. Malai kebab was outstanding. The way it should be. Soft and creamy.
2. Prawn thermidor was excellent. Fresh prawns creamy sauce and buttery rice made it perfect.
3. The chicken lasgna was a disaster. When we cut open the cheese layer it was a soup kind of a thing. Totally worthless.
4. Brownie with ice cream was ordinary.
So the overall rating
Food- 3.5/5
Ambience -5/5
Service- 5/5
Value for money- 4/5

Must try place, Good ambiance with fast service and yummy food worth every penny. Achari chicken and American chops suey was too good. Biryani was okay
#themerestaurant
More popular because of its ambience , a great place to eat out if you are in Mysore. The prices are okay and quantity served is also great
My brother works at Infosys Mysore and he mentioned that this restaurant is quite famous among his colleagues. So on our trip to mysore, we didn't forget to check this out. It is a cave (Gufha in hindi) themed restaurant at Pai Vista Hotel in Mysore. It does have a real feeling of being inside of a cave because of the dim lighting, uneven interiors, uniform of the servers, animal prints in the seats, tribal wall status in the entrance and the face statue inside.
We ordered 1 starter, plain rice, mixed fried rice, murg biriyani, dum pukth gosht biryani, panner makhani and another chicken side dish. Briyani was delicious and quite spicy. All other foods were also upto the mark. We also ordered virgin Colada and litchi delight.
The waiters were very polite and helpful. This place is truly lived upto it's hype. A must visit if you are in mysore.
Nothing we ate here was even partially disappointed! We had a chicken chandni kebab, which was topped with silver and tasted yumza with the mint chutney. Also, a cheese spring roll kinda dish: again, yumza. Then we had some chowmein, hot garlic veg balls and some lee fu fried rice. All in all good food
Mostly, the ambience here is absolutely spot on and really delivers on a cave like food experience where even the wait staff was dressed as shikhari Shambhu.
Definite visit if you're around.
When you are starving to get some good bites Gufha is the perfect place to get some.
I am from West Bengal and I needed good foods here in the south. Gufha saved me.
The food was amazing.
The ambience was so good.
The staffs were polite. I feel so good to be there. Quality of food is high, and the price is not so high.
The BHUNA GHOST melted in my mouth in moments. the MURGH BIRIYANI was fabulous.
You name it they deliver. Chicken patiala, the kebabs, even the veg food were also mind blowing. This place is worth a visit if you are in mysore.
Its a good themed restaurant..it is very different and sometimes it feels good to have food in some different type of interior..
Loved the food..
Ordered paneer lajawab and it was really lajawab.. gravy was so thick and perfect..
In starters ordered hara bhara kebab, it was great too..
Service is fast..
Everything is perfect about this place..
The ambience is really good. The cave theme really synchronises with the soothing music that's played. Food is a little expensive but the quantity served is ample hence its completely worth it. If you are in Mysore do give it a try.
This place holds very fond memories for me. The first time I went here was around 10 years ago. And it was my first themed restaurant experience. Went with my family and really enjoyed the lunch. Now after so many years I visited this place again and in the meantime I have been to tons of themed restaurants. But this place still stands out. The food was also really good. Tried their fried rice, biriyani, pudding and cocktail. The only thing that was not very good was the mimosa cocktail which didn’t feel very authentic. I don’t think they made it using sparkling wine. Otherwise I was very much satisfied with the meal!
Good place to find Mughlai /Chinese food in Mysore ... staff is courteous and service is great . We had a problem with chicken tikka but they were happy to replace it for us
It's a calm n quiet place. Ambience is so much upto the mark as per the theme. Waiters are so helpful! Food is 4/5. Must Go place definitely.
This is a themed restaurant. If you are looking for a place to dine with family, this is the one. The food is so delicious and the service is also good.Loved it!!
A gufha themed restaurant. You might take some time to adjust to the ambience as it's little dark. Food is good with decent portion sizes.
Staff are friendly and courteous.
The ambience is very good, even the waiters are dressed as forrest guards. It was calm and it was one memorable experience. The waiters are friendly and courteous. The food was also tasty and is definately a must visit.
Nice ambiance. However you have to wait for minimum 30 min to get the food delivered to your table.Good concept.Located near bus stop.Enjoyed
Oh this is the best place in Mysore for north indian lunch. Lets start with interiors. The atmosphere of cave has been nicely replicated, even the music has cave sound.
Food wise: masala papad, paneer tikka masala, garlic butter nan, mixed veg khulcha, and gulab jamun are fantastic! My non-vegetarian frnds had the kabab platter which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Service: again really good. The manager helped us what to order, and the service didn't took long.
Themed restaurant in Mysore, very nice ambience, not everybody's cup, only due to the styling and light availability, but you'll enjoy the service and authenticity, lovely and delicious food.
Whenever I visit Mysore this is the only place I would love to have my food. Theme is awesome. Staff is very cooperative and professional. Service is too quick. Lasagna and Lee Foo Paneer is my favorite. Highly Recommended.
Visited this place for dinner . We reached arnd 9ish and there was waiting for loke 10 mins . Staff is really polite and helpful. Lovely ambience. Its really refreshing as we never have visited a place with this cave theme back in Mumbai . We ordered for some beers and for starters we ordered lemon chicken and murgh lasooni malai tikka. The food arrived in jus like 5 mins or something. Both the dishes were delicious and cooked to perfection. Loved the tikkas 👌. For main course we orderd for chicken patiala and garlic naan. I personally dind lyk the chicken patiala. I jus dind lyk the gravy and the combo of chicken and omelette in the dish. Then later we ordered for gulab jamun with ice cream . Though taste wise and quality there was nothing wrong with the dessert , it was with quantity . I mean lyk i was expecting two gulab jamuns topped with ice cream, but they served only one gulab jamun 😂. The places i have had in past all served two gulab jamun. Its funny but its jus difficult to share one gulab jamun between two u knw 😁. Overall a great experience.
Ambience - 4/5
Food - 4/5
Service - 4/5
Variety - 4/5
Cleanliness - 4/5
Family friendly - 5/5
Good theme restaurant. Very good for family, friends and team lunches. Food was really good especially their honey glazed chicken. We ordered it twice. Service was pretty good though they can improve. Ambience was appropriate but it was getting little difficult to see the food. There is room for improvement but all in all it was a good experience. Definitely recommend.
Great ambience. The theme is nice and it's very hygienic. The lemon coriander soup is the best and must try. The food is decently priced and it's value for money.
Great place with great ambience around . Must visit place if you are planning for Mysore .
The service is great and its way too fast .
Great hospitality and you will just love the place
Had an amazing time dining here. Food was great, pleased with the service as well. Ambience is extraordinary and very soothing. Great place for families as well as friends. It's very close to the suburban bus stand and convenient for tourists.
Been there for birthday party
Enjoyed the ambiance.. after all named Gufha ^_^ &..the crockery soo well suits it's ambiance.
Awesome food to have with family over there.. great service & the dishes relating the name!
:}
Lemon chicken was really very delicious and ambience is also very nice which is incomparable to any other place. Service is also very good. Good for clicking pictures also.
Good restaurant with nice ambience. The staff is very caring. The interior is good. The food is also good and tasty. We tried bunha gosht and it's good.
Lovely ambience..a full 5 mainly because of the ambience..it is built like a cava and the lighting is perfect with careful details to interior. The plates also have the tiger skin print. The staff are courteous and polite. Coming to the food..we ordered sizzlers and rice.and some starters along with beer and the prices is very reasonable.
Pretty close to Mysore Zoo, we searched for nearby restaurant and it popped at top so thought of trying it.
Ambience: It's one of a kind and hats off to the designer and team to create such a team, it gives you another feel.
Kids love the ambience and there are many things to explore.
Food: We reached when it got opened, so everything we ordered it was utterly fresh and tasty.
Starting with Soup, Dal, Biryani etc.
It was just amazing.
Good to go and visit.
Must recommended
A place which has been consitent in terms of food quality and taste for at least last 14 years as I have known and experienced. The ambience is unique and crafty.
This time around, my last visit in Sep, I found the service and food taste a bit lacking. It was too spicy, Dal (lentils) appeared to be done in haste and service was a tad laggard than usual. But soup was good.
You can't go wrong with this place and I would recommend for a good experience, it's safe and reliable but guess they too have their share of off days!
We were in Mysore for a break and I had to Google good restaurants nearby. The Gufha restaurant had a good rating and the pictures were attractive so thought of giving it a try. We took a cab and visited this place.
We reached around 8 pm. The restaurant was half full that time. We didn't book in advance it was a walk in but still got a table. The ambience was very nice. We ordered both vegetarian and non vegetarian options, the food was delicious. We ordered fresh juice at the end which was a bit disappointing. The rest of the experience was nice. The hotel is not that expensive either, definitely recommended for a dinner with family.
We had an amazing experience at this unique cave-themed restaurant, just 1 km from Mysore Palace! The food was exceptional—delicious and well-prepared. The innovative concept made our dining experience truly enjoyable. The restaurant is well-maintained, and the staff is professional. Highly recommend for a delightful and novel dining experience!
Very good ambience in the restaurant. Few dishes are great and few are just okay. Depends on which dishes you order. Veg curry was all turmeric and no other flavours. Biryani was spicy and no other flavours. Spaghetti with arrabiata sauce was nice and flavorful. Penne with white sauce was also very nice. Mocktails were good too.
It has very good parking and Pretty close to Mysore Zoo, was recommended by a friend when in mysore
Ambience: It's one of a kind and hats off to the designer and team to create such a team, it gives you another feel.
Kids love the ambience and there are many things to explore.
Food: Was really great
Starting with Soup, mixed meat platter just amazing.
Roti and butter chicken was very good
For desserts — the fried ice cream and chocolate cake with ice cream was really good
Good to go and visit.

Great place with a nice cave theme and really amazing good food.
Loved every single thing that I ordered.
Reducing one star as the lady in the entrance was a bit rude to us as she initially gave us a waiting time of 30 minutes, so we went outside, went to few stores and came back in 35 minutes. Instead of giving us the next table she started shouting at us which is a very horrible behavior. Neither do they note your mobile number to give you a call despite high waiting + such bad attitude. Would have give 2-3 stars, but the food and serving were good so don't want to do any injustice to them.
What an ambience... amazing food... lovely ambience.... service and atmosphere is also good!! Restaurant is so good that there is waiting time outside!!
It has a unique ambiance of night forest life in caves and hence aptly named Gufha restaurant. Food is good and service is also apt. Every niw and then when you need a different atmosphere for dinner you can definitely try Gufha and I suppose it will not disappoint you.
The food activates your taste buds, even hygiene wise it meets all the standards.am giving 1 star less because, they don't communicate in kannada even they know the regional language. I request them to speak in kannada with their kannadiga customers atleast.
My recent experience at Gufha Restaurant was a mix of highs and areas for improvement. The ambiance truly stands out – the unique cave-like setting creates a captivating atmosphere, enhancing the overall dining experience. The paneer dish was a delightful surprise, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to flavors.
However, I must note that the chicken dish fell short of expectations. It lacked the desired taste and texture, leaving room for improvement. On the service front, while the staff was generally attentive, there was a noticeable delay that impacted the overall pace of the meal.
Despite these areas for enhancement, Gufha remains a solid choice for those seeking a unique dining experience. With a bit of refinement in the chicken preparation and a focus on expediting service, it has the potential to reach even greater heights. I look forward to returning to see how these aspects evolve.
Wonderful atmosphere, great food, good service.
We visited during lunch and we were served with tasty food with very less wait time.
You will feel like you are in cave.
Will visit again
I will suggest this place 100% , actually its worth of money , what an ambience of this place , Jailer is serving and taking the order, I have just shared a glimpse of that , and what a reasonable rate they are offering, we took two Cocktail and Two Type of Starters , Main Course, everything was mouth watering and we have just spent INR 1600.
I will be definitely visiting again Mysore for this Gufha Restaurant.
And my last visit of Mysore will be always rememberable for this restaurant food at night.
You should definitely visit. It’s just a Wow 🤩
See you soon Gufha❤️
Overall Gufha was a great experience with tasty food, prompt service and a unique ambiance. We ordered some of the chef specials - paneer makhmali roll, potato cheese roll, fried ice cream.
Unlike what other reviewers say, the service was extremely quick and staff was prompt.
However it was us who took time with ordering due to the large size of the menu. They can definitely make the menu smaller and focus on items that their culinary team is good at making.
Definitely worth a visit!
The combination of great food and a charming ambiance near Mysore Palace adds a touch of magic to your meal. Enjoy the culinary delights and the regal surroundings.
Good restaurant in mysore with a cave theme, they have plenty of place and have maintained it very well with nice theme and props, service was very good as they kept on checking about food and giving suggestions to try different food items. Taste, quality and quantity are just excellent
Must try,
1. Tandoori veg platter (15-16 pieces of panner, mushroom, gobi, baby corn and veg sheek kebab)
2. Cheese cherry pineapple
3. French fries
4. Veg biryani
5. Carrot halwa with ice cream
I usually don't like to eat near bus stands or railway stations due to the unhygienic environment. But this one is the complete opposite. I found this in Google maps while searching for a restaurant and I have to say that this is the best restaurant near Mysore bus stand within a very walkable distance. The ambience is unique and lovely. It's a forest themed restaurant. Food is good. I tried Fung Thue Legs which is similar to chicken lollipop and the taste is very good. I tried chicken dum biryani on the main course which is okay. The quantity is moderate for that price. Prices are a little high but that can be expected from a 5 star restaurant. The staff are very polite. The overall experience was good.
