We ordered kadhai paneer and tandori roti which were good from our expectations and roti were crispy . On and all a small pocket friendly place to give a try when in mysore
Great place for breakfast !!
We stumbled upon this place very randomly as we were searching for somewhere nice to have a good breakfast before we began our journey of touristy things to do in Mysore.
The food is amazing--- Idli, vada were soo soft and tasty (it would just melt in your mouth) and the special masala dosa was yummm...we just had to order yet another plate. The taste of ghee was mouth-watering and bhaji just beautifully mashed and cooked.
The staff is quick to take orders as well as serve , with a big smile on their face. Being such a busy place, the ladies serving were very cheerful and helped around with everything.
You might find it difficult to find place to sit, but its totally worth a try---people are in & out so quick.
One of the most authentic South Indian veg restaurants located just opposite the Mysore zoological park.
We went to have a evening snack since we travelled from Bangalore and reached Mysore only in the evening before our music show, and we were not disappointed.
We wanted to eat something light and ordered the idly, white coconut chutney and sambar it was tasty.
Then came the Mysore Podi Masala Dosa and I must tell you one of the most delicious dosas I've had in my life.
Tasted the set dosa with Saagu and the Bonda dipped in soup was equally tasty, to finish our tiffen we order the filter coffee and out of the blue tried the Horlicks which was prepared with milk and dry fruits😊😋😋
Was quite excited and suprised with the taste of the food and beverages and first time in my life I ve craved to have 2 dosas one after another and also want to go and eat some variety of food on my next trip to Mysore.
This is the place for breakfast in Mysuru, Filtercoffee here to die for.. evenings Rava idly will be the best.. everything here is good and small place but always a heavy rush, exactly OPP to Mysuru zoo.
This place is good enough to have a veg foods and it's located just opposite to mysore zoo parking. The taste is good but there aren't much varieties. The main dish to try there is either the south indian or north Indian thali. The offer reasonable price like other restaurants (not much cozy, moderately okay).
This place is bang opposite the zoo, so attracts quite a lot of tourists. Their set dosa is just fabulous n their coffee is to die for! I almost stop by for Coffee every single time I am somewhere around this place..
One of the best place for quick n tasty breakfast 😋. My all time favourite. Must try their plain dosa, idli sambar, pongal, Gobi Manchurian. Service is so quick n staffs are generous.
the idli vade sambhar combi is to die for. follow it up with a set dose.
the price is slightly on the higher side but the taste is nothing but awesome!
Best breakfast items in mysore. Coffee here gives you the taste of authentic mysore. Though breakfast items are few, each preparation is delicious.
On our way to Wayanad from Bengaluru, we decided to stop for breakfast in Mysuru and what better than the super-famous Set Dosa from this place. Have been here multiple times and this place does not need any special mentioning as it is very well known for its breakfast all across the city and beyond.
Their Set and Masala dosa and Pulao is my all time favorite.
One of the places i make sure not to miss whenever I am in and around Mysuru.
Food - 3.5/5
Values - 4/5
Two things about this place - Dosa and Coffee !!! Definitely the best filter coffee in Mysore, and the only restaurant in Mysore to follow the actual tradition of serving Masala Dosas - yes you heard me right this is the only place that serve Masala Dosa with Red(kempu) garlic chutney.
So without saying it goes that the Dosas here are a must try. The sambar tastes brilliant. Not a huge fan of the North Indian and Chinese here and I would not recommend then to you.
But south Indian be it any dish tastes simple yummmm and to finish it off with a nice cup of hot filter coffee, your lazy Sunday morning or a calm evening is done.
It is located right diagonally opposite to the Mysore zoo and they provide service to the cars parked outside as well.
Must tries- Masala Dosa, Mangalore Bajji & Coffee

I've been to this restaurant umpteen times. It's located really close to the Mysore Zoo and thus has a huge foot fall during the day time, i.e the Breakfast and Lunch times. Sometimes so crowded that you'll have to wait for a table.Â
One good part of this restaurant is they have an organized and uniform setup. There are experience waiters looking after the restaurant, most of them knowing only tits and bits of Hindi/English since most of the customers are of Karnataka origin.Â
Ambience wise this place is okay. It faces the road and is designed at a slight hight from the ground level which makes it look good when you sit there, looking at the busy road while sipping your filter coffee.Â
I've tried North Indian as well as the South Indian Food here. Their Idly and Vadhas are good, especially with the exceptional Sambhar they serve with it. The Dosas are really average, nothing too special about them. The North Indian Food is also decent. They do add a bit of the South flavour in it but it's not too dominant.Â
One thing that's really wrong with this restaurant is the price on the menu. They're are actually way too costly for a South Indian Restaurant. A plate of Vadha and a Filter Coffee costing you Rs 70 is whooping more than the 30-40 bucks you would spend for the same stuff in some other restaurant.Â
Overall this place is good, expensive but slightly above average. Not recommended for an exclusive visit but definitely a good place to have the food if you're in the vicinity to that restaurant.

I happened to visit this place for a Coffee as per my friend recommendation & ended up having dinner. I am not very sure whether this place is under a Legendary list. We randomly ordered all the dishes which were available. We totally loved Khara Bath, Uppittu, Masala Dosa & Rava Idli. However, i felt the samber is too thick for Bonda.
The restaurant is located in the corner & easily pin-point from Mysore Zoo. The place has a decent decor with 2 old portraits of Heritage City.
We were too hungry, so had the same dish multiple times & especially Masala Dosa is too crispy & i find the texture, taste & quality is similar to CTR, Bengaluru.
The service was really quick, thats commendable. The prices are too expensive & almost equal to high end Hotels. The Total bill had come around 1400 for 7 people (Normal South Indian Fare)
Overall,
Taste: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Quality: 4/5
Ambiance: 3.5/5
VFM: 3/5
The tea here is out of the world. We just stopped here more than a couple of times so we could taste the tea. The best thing is that they bring the tea to the vehicle. The downside is that there is no take away. That would make this the ultimate tea-kaapi place in the world.
I just love their coffee! This is one of the crowded place in Mysuru, but I walk in for coffee even if it is crowded. 3.5 on 5 because of consistency, 2 times in 10 visits, coffee might not be good. Apart from coffee, Rava idli will be Christmas in mouth! Dosè, South Indian lunch are pretty much OK, nothing special. But this place is a bit overpriced, hey for coffee lovers this is Paradise.
Fantastic taste.
Next to mysore zoo.
We had idli sambhar, paper masala dosa, masala dosa.
Authentic south indian taste.
Tea, badam milk was too good.
Whenever am in mysore, will definitely visit thus restaurant for breakfast.
A good place for breakfast . we have our breakfast almost everyday which we return cycling from chamundi hill . The first thing. We have is the vada sambar( vada immersed in the sambar ) *must try * then Masala dosa which is not so huge as other restaurants but its delicious (ask him for the red chatni which he puts inside the dosa to be given separately in a cup ) the chatani is just perfect . lastly a cup of coffee which is the right blend we look in for a coffee . people come him after walk to only have coffee . parking might be a problem in the wee hours !! The place is crowded getting a seat will take a bit of waiting or you have order your food by using there drive in concept. The price is bit heavy but the taste make you forget it !!
Service 4.0
Food 4.0
Ambience 3.5
Prise 3.0
Overall 3.5 it is !!
This place is in corner diagonally opposite to the entrance of zoo. If you are around here for any reason give a try for DOSA idli and kesari bath. These are the superb taste that they have got.
The place will be busy and crowded during weekends because the people coming to zoo would prefer this.
The ambiance is ok ok not too bad.
With a reasonable prices

It is located diagonally opposite to zoo garden. If u r traveling to palace or chamundi hills and u don't want to waste ur time thn this is rite place to fill ur hungry belly. They are serve south ,north and chines cuisines. Chines food is bad , north Indian dishes are average. If u r here i strongly advice u to try south Indian food. service is quite quick, prices are reasonable. Ambience is average. sitting arrangements are bit cramped. Crowded most of time .
Must try : Masala Dosa , Vada sambar , rava Idili and Coffee tea
A must visit restaurant in Mysore if you are passing by Zoo Garden. It will be often crowded on weekends as there will be people pouring over the streets, but on weekdays it is a pleasant perfect dining place with family or friends. One of the best feature I like in this restaurant is serving for the cars, you really do not have to get in and fiddle for seats, just find a parking spot under  the line of sight of the waiter who are dedicated servers for outside. Do try their Mangalore bajji, Mousambi juice and chats. Rava idly rocks.
Food is good here but not like the hype given before visiting. Best place to get the decent food where they provide the food at your car, you can eat and pay the bill from the car. There is no parking space which is rush area and police patrol will roam to put fines. So park your vehicle at right place
Just behind carparking and zoo exit gate is this hotel famous for Fresh tasty quality breakfast , tiffins and meals .
Worth visiting and trying out many dishes.
Chutney was super tasty. Crispy soft Uddina vade and nice soft idli's and strong coffee was refreshing.
Eat like a local ! Caters for all . Enjoy the delicacies without getting out of your car.
Nothing less than 5 star will do .
Quality has been consistently good for years.
Wonderful place for some tasty piping hot food. We had breakfast, which was excellent. The owner himself is present monitoring the operations. Some nice art work on the walls too.
Loved the hospitality and taste of the food. We tried Vada and masala dosa here along with tea and loved every bite. The place despite being off-season and mid-week was packed with people and they had quite quick service. Truly amazing.
I have been coming to this place for the past 13 years since I first travelled to India. Best place to have Mysore Masala Dosa! And one of the best kesari bath...yum! A must place when in Mysore for sure.
We last visited India in August and we paid a couple of visits. I've also taken my Spanish parents when they first visited India and they also loved it. Their masala chai and filtered coffee is also very nice. Owners are lovely and staff are VERY polite and efficient.
They serve food to your car.
The snack items and coffee was very nice.
Food is expensive.
Must visit for quick tasty bite. Prominent location. Good food. Fast service. Polite staff. Super filter coffee
Awesome breakfast. !!!!!
In mysore you must try the breakfast here. Coz all other famous hotel dont serve the best food. The crispy masala dosa was too good and the chow chow bath.
Had breakfast here most of the time crowed
But was lucky to get seats fast food it was delicious
Dosa was good and yummy the kasaribath was delicious.
An excellent eatery that serves very delicious dishes just outside the Mysore Zoo. Since the sitting area inside the restaurant is small, it allows roadside parking of the vehicles and serves food right at the doorsteps of your vehicle...the eatery attracts a large number of people, hence always crowded, often posing traffic problems! As long as the police allow this, enjoy and saviour the items served by this eatery :)
NMR serves food hot and fresh. The chutney and sambar are very delicious and makes idly and Dosa taste good. The service area is small but they serve to vehicles driving in. The service is reasonably fast and good turnaround time. Hotel is located right opposite to Mysore zoo and there are no descent food outlets nearby, especially for vegetarians and South Indian refreshments. This is a must go place after visiting Chamundi by road or steps early in the morning. U will find lot of fitness enthusiasts munching their breakfast here.
Food is awesome. Neat and clean restaurant. Limited menu options depending on lunch, dinner and breakfast timings. Mostly South Indian dishes are available during breakfast. This restaurant is next to Zoo parking lot.
Had visited this place on the way to Chamundi Betta. Special Masala Dosa was one of the best dosas that I have tried. They apply red chutney on the dosa and roast it with butter. Coffee was also aromatic. Downside is that the food is quiet expensive and it would make sense to visit this place only once in a while because of cost.
Ideal place for South Indian delicious food, must try running Deep idali and Vada, Mysore and special masala dosa , unique taste of coffee and many more you can try here . Hygiene, cleanliness and maintained restaurant. Appreciate owner who hired almost all women for serving, cooking and managing whole restaurant. Good place overall experience.
Food was so amzing especially the coffee and vada .. table service was not much good though..enjoyed the tastes😋
Frequent visitor to this place for breakfast. Best part of the restaurant is drive in option. Food will be served while u seated comfortably in your car. My favourite food is idli sambhar dip, chow Chow bath and coffe. Tea needs lot of improvement.
