Southern Express is a very good restaurant for South Indian food lovers in and around Nadiad. The best thing about their food is the "consistency". You can expect the same taste each time you go there.
It has a lovely location - not too far and not too near from the most of the areas of Nadiad.
The service is a tad slow. At times, you may have to wait for extra "Sambhar" and "Chutney" etc!
The seating arrangement is quite OK. But you may have to wait in rush hours.
Cost is not that high (or too low). A middle class person will be able to afford the dinner twice a month!
Non-South Indian food is served, but it is just to help those who don't like the South-Indian dishes. If you want to eat Punjabi etc., this is not the right place to visit.
Overall, a good place to visit again and again.
Yummy and delicious south indian food served here with authentic coconut chutney, though this is a south Indian food based restaurant, i also recommend to try punjabi here, Punjabi food here is also very delicious, service is fast most of the time, generally there is no waiting for a table, also facilities card or paytm based payment option. They serve unlimited South Indian for Rs.150.
Try their Hydrabadi Biryani. I've lived in Hyderabad, believe me, they make better Biryani than any other restaurants of Hyderabad!
Delicious and economical South Indian restaurant as well Punjabi food is also very good. Specially Malabari paratha and veg. curry is too good. Restaurant is very clean and hygiene staff are also very good and cooperative.

If u r fan of cheese and paneer try cheese pulao and paneer chatpata. Good heavy and healthy food at affordable price. Best for family dinner.
It was good experience. If you are fond of south indian food and you want south indian food in unlimited quantity(yes, you read right!!) then this is good place. Overall food was good but not that much.
