Great place to try local Assamese dishes. The best thing about this, the dhaba is managed by waitresses which is awesome. Well mannered , polite behaviour and highly experienced in servicing. Food tastes is also awesome and is in affordable rate. Only the thing is this place is very crowded, and washroom cleanness is not upto mark except this all other things are very nice..

We visited anurag dabha while moving to bhalukpong. You can get Assamese Thai here, both veg and non veg. Food was tasty and prices are reasonable.

I couldn't wait to dig into the food so I just took a picture of the veg thali and not the chicken ๐Ÿ˜ญ. But the food was absolutely delicious. Like you don't need chicken, duck or fish for the thali. The veg thali in itself is sufficient. It's 160 per thali and each side dish is heavenly. The service is quick and the servers are sweet. So it's perfect.

One of the most popular place to have lunch in assam. Boyal, hilsha, chitol fishes are simply the best over here. Presentation of the platter is eye soothing, tasty and fresh each and every item.

Had breakfast with family today on my way to Kaziranga. It's like meal system here, 100/- plate for Puri sabji, Paratha or chappatis. Unlimited refill for one. Reasonable for the quality and tasty food they cook and serve. Staff are polite and they have VERY CLEAN WASHROOM which is very important when you have your family with you travelling on road.

This modest-sized but very popular restaurant along the road from Guwahati to Kaziranga serves mainly thalis, though they do have some stand-alone dishes too. The restaurant spreads across several interconnected rooms, all with basic tables and chairs. We - my husband, daughter and I - were seated in a private cubicle of our own. Not very clean (the floor was littered, the upholstery and curtains stained and dusty), but the staff were very efficient. We ordered two Assamese thalis; the basic thali is vegetarian, but you can order a non-vegetarian main dish to add to this. We chose duck for our mains. All the food was delicious, and very reasonable too: including extras (dessert, second helpings, and a child's thali), we paid only Rs 900. The restaurant has washrooms too; the ladiesโ€™ is only Indian style. Not very clean, but usable anyway.

Good place to have lunch with family and friends...normally crowded so might not be a romantic place to have a date but surely a pocket friendly place for foodies.... We took rice thali with chitol fish curry, mourala fish fry, duck kosha and boral fish fry.... All tested really well.... And surprisingly the price was quite average in comparison with the quantity and quality of food.... The only thing they can improve is service. Staff members must be more careful towards customers and professional... They were quite friendly though....
