Small and non descript, but charming. The place deserves more advertisement. The food is simple and delicious, especially the pork dishes. Prices are reasonable. Everything is prepared after the order, which results in some time for the food preparation. But it's worth the wait, as the food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommended. It is a nice restaurant with nice ambience, beautiful calm interior, nice staff, quality food, fast food, dinner, lunch and varieties of tea and tea items. Foods are very hygienic and kitchen are kept very clean. It's specialization is its tea item. The resturent is made in style of Missing Sang Ghar with bamboo with a decent interior decoration. A beautiful place to spend one hour with quality food and cool & calm atmosphere.
We stopped here for breakfast while enroute to Tezpur.... Loved the bamboo structure and food was amazing.... slightly expensive but worth it(cost us Rs.500 for 3 people).
The staff and the owner are very well mannered and friendly. Taste is also fine but the items are little overpriced for the quantity of servings.

Just had tea, coffee and veg pakora. But everything was great.
Tea was of very good quality, the smell and taste and way it was made was perfect. Handmade coffee, very well balanced milk, coffee powder and sugar.

Awesome ambience, lovely food, traditional Assamese food and the feel of a traditional Assamese house-on-stilts. The owner Birinchi is a really down-to-earth Assamese youth, live speaking to him over his awesomely cooked food
