Taste: Best things here are onion uttapam(thick and fluffy), Wada, Paper dosa and chola bhatura..Even their thali is awesome, the chefs here are thorough professionals.. Try the South Indian food and you'll be happy.. don't keep high hopes from other snacks or Chinese food..
Service: takes a bit long, they do the packing properly for take away..
Ambience: beautifully painted walls dedicated to the great Rajni sir..
Value for money: affordable prices, seem even more worthy once u taste it..8/10
Tried the Masala Dosa , Mysoore Masala Dosa , which are quite common anywhere , so need to comment much.
Also got the Podi Masala Dosa and the Chettinadu Dosa which are the speciality! Totally different and mouth watering taste ! Loved it!
Definately a good try for Nagpurkars!

I stumbled upon this place on my search for a good filter coffee and was really happy to get one here. The service is fast and the food is tasty as well as economical. This is a good place to go to if you want to eat south Indian food.

Superb quality of food. The staff was very friendly. One of the best kind of south Indian restaurant. You can try masala dosa, paper masala dosa, mix veg uttapam, cheese uttapam, Hakka noodles, chitti nadu dosa..!! These dishes are good in taste. And the restaurant is very pocket friendly. You can get delicious food in much lower prices yet excellent in taste..!!
Great taste! Great value for Money! That's Madras Kitchen for you.
South Indian palate tickling, aromatic, appetizing cuisine at its nourishing, simple best at highly affordable rates with no frills.
Busy as ever, this place is, but the staff needs to keep cleanliness, hygiene & presentation at a very high level to be able to achieve better standards.
Prompt service here and an experience to relish and remember though I do wonder when Aloo paratha & Chhole Bhature & most of all, Hakka noodles found their way into the Chennai kitchen.
Well its not one of those very old south indian joints in nagpur, but still Madras kitchen has managed to gather some foot hold in ramdaspeth thanks to their awesome food quality and fast service. I was quite surprised when I had my first bite of their mysore masala dosa, the taste was amazing. The sambhar and chutney tasted better than any other south indian restaurant in nagpur. Their butter idli podi was awesome. And their freshly brewed filter coffee is ever refreshing, Gives an awesome kickstart to the day ahead.
Do give this place a visit and I am sure you would think twice before going to other doas and idli joints in nagpur :P

South indian food at an affordable price at a great location near centre point hotel . Must try Mysore masala dosa and special uttapam. Service is fast. It's a regular outing place for us especially when we crave for South Indian food. Must visit for good south indian food, affordable price and great location.
Good food
Fresh and great filter coffee
Nagpur is not a great place to find south indian food
Walk in for a quick south indian meal. Great location next center.point hotel in ramdaspeth
Good food and a variety of authentic south indian dishes,
Ambience is good, it has AC so makes it better than others like gokul
Food tastes good and is on a similar level to gokul
Also its cheaper so all the more better 👍
I have heard about this restaurant from an avid South Indian foodie.. & always wanted to visit this place as according him the food here is real south Indian in North Indian...
Well I agree with him now, as the taste of the Marsala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa & the coconut chutney were much better than any place I have been to.. Authentic, tasty, fresh & fast...
Place is next to Hotel Centre Point, thus easy to find. It was clean & not crowdy, likable for people like me who like to enjoy food in peace.
Ambience was very good too, plus the service as it was very prompt .
Its a great place for people who are looking for authentic south indian food. Plus its pocket friendly as well. Ambience is nice. Not too crowded. All the south indian places i have been to in Nagpur, this one stands out for its simplicity and good food.
Recently spotted this restaurant while in the area. Decided to try it out. Turned out to be a good decision. I ordered Butter Rava Plain Dosa. It was delicious, and the place wasn't very crowded when I visited. Ambience is decent too. Worth a visit. Prateek Gupta
A very good South Indian menu food restaurant with quick service at reasonable charges. Good place to visit for a change. Also parcel facility available.
I'm new to Nagpur and just walked into this food joint while roaming in Bardi/Buldi/Sitabuldi (or whatever it is called).
The food we ate was really delicious. When the menu says Chettinad, you get the dish which actually has the Chettinad taste. Not just some general one-taste-for-all-south-indian type dish. All the dishes we ordered were awesome. Even the side dishes like rasam, sambar have the authentic south indian taste.
One of the regular customers said that they changed the chef recently and there after the tastes improved a lot.
And the place is decent and clean too.
Nice place ... Cool ambience.... Taste is pretty good especially rasam n bisibhella bhaat ... Rest all d items on d list does taste good although it's not lip smacking but stil would recommend this place for the food n service n reasonability ...
Madras Kitchen a new South Indian joint next to Center Point Hotel has a perfect location to call for. Ambiance is what will first struck your eyes here. I did manage to read all Ranji Anna's Madrasi dialogues on the wall quite funny they are. Food is good no magic recipe here. Service is also good. But full marks for Ambiance.
We had masala dosa an idli, taste was awsome and after that tea, which served in south steal glasses was very tasty, I love the taste of the tea.....my best wishes to Madras kitchen..
My second visit. Excellent food. Thaali, Dosa and Dahi wada were awesome. My wife liked the Pao bhaji too.
Authentic filter coffee too.
This place will definitely attract the south Indians like me. The food tastes good. But not like the south. Overall it is good.
Tiny but neat and clean.Price was reasonable and ambience was okay.Place is easily found and well known?Dosa chettinadu was tasty and so was dahi wada.will visit again.
