This place has great ambience, good and tasty food and friendly waiters.
We ordered CHICKEN SAOJI, CHICKEN BIRYANI,VEG BIRYANI, TANDOORI ROTI, PANEER KHADA MASALA, SABZ ABEER and DAAL FRY.
Taste was great and portion was okay.
A restaurant which boasts a wonderful ambience, a lovely interior which includes some interesting number plates, a piano and some other wall hangings. We started off with sweet corn soup, which was a disappointment, as it was too sweet. Murg Mutabbak was delicious, chicken coated with cheese. Corn and cheese cigar rolls was also great. Zafrani dum ka Murg was really tasty and the gravy is well prepared. Daal e eish was also good. Overall the food is great, but the service is a bit poor, really slow and even the staff do not know much about the menu too. Pricing wise thus place is really moderate and it would be a good experience to visit this place.

This is the best Restaurant I had visited in Nagpur with great ambience and delicious food.It has great top view of town which make your dinner/lunch more mesmerising..And thier customer service is also great.Totally satisfied with the experience...Must visit at least for once and I assure you you won’t regret...Totally great Experience.. :)

This is a great place for having a meal. Went here and it wasn't crowded at all. The ambience is nice and resembles a pub though this place doesn't serve alcohol.

Still remember this place, what a place it is!! Live music on instruments, dedication of music on demand. Served us with welcome filler starter and that was so unique. This is one hidden gem of the city. Not quite popular but very beautiful place. The ambience is all dim-lit and everything has a tinge of gold to it. It even has a live in place Piano , but nobody played for us during our visit. Coming to the food , the chefs here have got talent! Right from the Global fusion platter we ordered to the simple Paneer curry , everything was at par. Even the service was great. I'd strongly recommend a visit to this place at least once. It's completely fit, right for a small get together to some classy dates!

The place have tasty food and the price for the food is Little bit costly but worth it. The ambiance the crockery everything is unique. They have wet tissue paper instead of finger bowl after meal. the staff of the restaurant is also supportive and helpful in nature they will suggest you about the food as per your requirement and taste.

A good restaurant with good food. We ordered vegetarian food and it tasted really good.
The only thing I didn’t like about this restaurant is-the lighting is too dark. I understand there’s a bar too, which needs a cosy lighting but please, a good restaurant needs too good of lights in there. I hope they read this.

AU 79 - Hotel Gangakashi is a fine dining restaurant located besides eternity mall. Parking here should not be a problem as nit parking plaza is besides it. The restaurant is on the 6th floor of the hotel. As you enter you can see some antique showpieces and a piano.
Coming to the food,
Firstly, they serve you welcome drink : "Mint Blast" which was made using mint juice, sprite and lemon juice.
Next Complimentary snack served was "Fryums" with mint chutney.
For drinks we had , "Chocolate Liquor Shake" and "Chocolate Monkey". The "Chocolate Liquor Shake" was something different. It had a flavor of almonds, Green Cardamon and Chocolate.
For Main Course we had , " Kumb Kakori" which was Mushroom kebab marinated in different Indian spices.
For Main Course we had , "Subz Jugal Bandi"
which was combination of different vegetables served in thick tomato puree. For breads we ordered " Assorted Bread Basket " which contains 8 types of Indian Breads like : Tandoori Roti, Missi Roti, Naan stuffed with potato mixture, Mughlai Paratha stuffed with egg , Waqri Paratha, Lacha Paratha and Ulta tawa ka paratha which is basically Nawabi Paratha cooked on an inverted griddle, slightly sweet in taste.
For deserts we had , Banana Split : Two scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream and One soop of Black Currant Ice-cream topped with nuts.
The sevice was little slow but the food was amazing. The staff was polite and attentive. The live piano in the background highlighted our meal.
Overall, one should definitely try this place.

I visited the Restaurant for a Dinner Date. The Ambience and The Staff is Perfect and The Food was Delicious.
Coming to the Food Department, I tried the following Items-
1- Chicken Steak Sizzler - Amazing Sizzler, Great Taste and Great Quantity. I love my sizzler Platter Messy and So was it served. The Chicken was perfectly done and the Fries made it even Better. Highly Recommended.
2- Lemon Chicken Kebab - Lemon Chicken is my Favourite compared to other Chicken Dishes. I decided to Try it. Definitely Satisfied.. Perfect Flavours, Tender Soft Chicken. Loved it.
3- Chocolate Liquor Shake - Chocolate Shake with a Twist 😋 The twist being the Liquor. I loved it. It was sweet and Nice.
4- Afghani Paneer - Creamy and Spicy Paneer. Loved it. A must try for Vegetarians.
5- Walnut Brownie - Sizzling Brownie with chocolate Sauce ❤️ This was Cherry on top. The perfect ending to a Perfect Dinner.
AU79 is a Perfect place to visit with great Good, Amazing Staff and a Very Nice Ambiance. You should definitely try this place If you're anywhere nearby 😁
In my opinion, this is currently the one of the best restaurants in Nagpur.
1) Service is exceptional, very attentive and very cooperative
2) Food quantity is too good for the price. I really hope they don't read our reviews and reduce it, because it really feels unreal the amount of portions that they serve
3) Indian food is great. The daal makhani here is one if the best I've had in the city in a long time
4) the ambience and decor is very pretty and there's a very good feel about the restaurant. However, the lighting is a bit low.
5) There is no parking problem here for obvious reasons.
All in all, great experience

This is my first visit to Gangakashi. Ordered Dijaj Nariyal shorba with chilli fish. The soup was good and the fish too good. For mains we had chooza besh kimtee, chooza I guess symbolizes chicken. Sounded funny but the dish was good. Minced chicken stuffed in chicken meat. The chicken was good but the dish was average. Were too stuffed to try desserts. The staff is courteous and recommends if you ask them. Ambience is good. Staff said the terrace is open in evening only. All in all a good experience. One time visit is recommended.
A visit to this place has been pending since long and finally it was worth the wait. The ambiance of the restaurant is excellently designed and the view of the greenery that nagpur city has is just spectacular. The food is good and the cutlery used is gold plated. Overall, the dining experience is just memorable and a must visit place.

The 1st thing we cant ignore is the dim lightening subtle ambience with some antique decors and a piano by the side .
We were 1st served the welcome drink .
The minestrone soup in tomato puree with italian tint is nice . We ordered the afghani paneer and AU79 chicken (both considered there speciality as told to us by them) . The quantity of chicken pieces and the gravy was a bit less compared to paneer both both tasted good. The cutlery is worth noticing. The taste delight was daal makhni . Undoubtedly the best dish i tried perfectly blended with the taste of cream on the top .
Overall a nice place but main course a bit over priced.

Food here is very good.... the ambience is very nicely done and gives a good view of the greenary of the city during the day. A bit heavy on the pocket...but worth the money.
This place serves very few variety of dishes but everything is just brilliant. Tried the vegetable starters platter n it was amazing and quite a lot in quantity. Also their dum ka kadhai paneer was out of the world.

Ganga Kashi! Heard a lot of it and finally went there with the best company I could have. My Parents! 😊. As soon as you will enter you eyes will pop up and the first thought will be ... Okay, it's a niceeee place. The ambience is really good. Just the cutlery was not matching with it 😋😅. Okay so coming on point. The menu is different and have different variety as well. We ordered kukkad kabab, mutton rogan josh and chicken fried rice and all the dishes were really delicious. They do give welcome drink and little snack type during intervals. Bar looks good but can't operate coz of highway rule. Overall a great place and perfect for a date ! And yes live piano 😍😍

First thing that hits you is the fantastic ambience. Muted brown colours, soft yellow lights and lots of kitschy accessories. It could have well been a sports bar but instead is a pub with some really nice food.
They have a great bar setup and would have been a wonderful setup to get some cocktails after work if the govt hadn't imposed a stupid liquor ban metal highways. Anyway moving on. We started our meal with the Shrimp, Orange & Coriander Soup and Game Soup with Port Wine. The former was one of the best soups I have had. The Orange flavour was just about right and didn't overpower the whole dish. The game soup was average and reminded me of a Chicken Manchow Soup that most places serve. But it comes with a side of sweet bread that is freshly baked and helps contrast the spiciness of the soup. Would pay for that bread!
For mains, we ordered the Chicken Steak Sizzler. Portion size is huge for two people to share. It comes with rice, French Fries and Paneer Corn Tikki. The Tikki had a very tangy flavour (maybe due to the paneer) and didn't quite like it. I also wish the chicken was cooked a little more so that it would be soft to break.
Didn't get any desserts since we were too full. But the staff did offer two small pieces of cake as complementary dessert. It tasted really nice. Rich but not too sweet.
AU 79 is a really good place for a date. They have a terrace section as well which is something we will try the next time.
P. S. There is a guys playing some lovely music on the piano as well.

With very limited money in my pocket i wanted to go some place where i could eat to my heart's contentment. This place proved to be worth it!!
I agree that i was apprehensive to go as the name was hotel and there was no sign board showing the restaurant's presence, but i tried and went to restaurant on 6 floor.
Welcomed with amazing warm smile and a yummy welcome drink.
In main course we ordered dum paneer and dal makhani.
The taste is still fresh in my mind! The daal was typical dal makhani! Very tough to find such taste in nagpur.
Paneer was also superb.
The overall ambience, service taste was definitely worth the price!!
It costed me 1250 approx for 3 people (main course without any cold drinks. Including the cost of breads).

I have been thrice to Gangakashi and their amazing service and taste has forced me to post review here. Initially I wondered why they kept this name for such a modern themed restaurant then I came to know that it's based on owner's grandparent name which actually impressed me.
The ambience is good, service is excellent. Well trained staff and very delicious food. I loved chicken steak Sizzler, lamb marinated in wine and fish with cheese stuffing.
Ko sa mui veg Sizzler is little dry but good. The chef is available to serve u customised dish as per your taste. Overall awesome experience but the costs are on little higher side which is justified for the taste and experience.
Nice plc...very classy menu and variety available....interiors are little cramped up....dey generally serve welcome drinks n cold canapés complimentary but the waiter forgot to serve us later apologising for the same...overall its a good family/ friends restaurant...
The ambience of this place is great, though it is kind of small.
We had paneer satay kebab which was A-mazing. Then we had chicken kebab which were your normal run of the mill chicken kebab. Thai Curry and dal fry were delicious.
Service was great.
Totally recommend it. Go and check it out for yourself.

The rooftop view is amazing.I really had a great time with friends over there, specially at the upper deck.
They don't serve Indian food on rooftop side but since we were the only ones on Thursday night, they did serve us everything we wanted. Much appreciated move! The server was prompt and polite.
Only thing which I don't really like is the food!!! It's not as good as it should be! I mean it's done properly but missing on a Midas touch! I hope they improve! Other than that, everything is on point! Gonna come back again!
Cool restaurant in Nagpur... want to visit again & again... as its having piece & nice tempting environment with candle light dinning experience & gold plated cutlery...food was great & tasty..but price is quite high... but its worth for money...nice place for people who love to visit different place...the highlight was a live piano music....must try dum biryani, paneer specialities...best place to visit with family...

We ordered orthodox north indian dishes like Panner Afghani and Dal-e-dum with bread basket. The service was nice and quality was good. Will love to experiment with oriental menu next time.
kids enjoyed the telescope viewing and yes crockery is unique and maharaja style.

Very posh, excellent food, very expensive
We visited AU 79 in Hotel Ganga Kashi for dinner. It is very centrally located, bang next to Eternity Mall in Sitabuldi. It is on the 6th floor of the hotel. The ambience is the first thing that hits you when you enter. From the large, rough wooden door, every inch of it conveys a fine dining experience. The glasses are engraved, the crockery is gold plated, there are candle holders on each table, which the staff actually light at the start of your meal; this place is like the Rolls Royce of restaurants.
We were offered a complimentary "welcome drink" of green apple soda, which came in tiny glasses each containing a mouthful of the drink. It was average, and the flavour of green apple did not really come through. However, it was free.
We were next offered a complimentary snack of "fryums" with tomato chutney and mint chutney. This was very good, and while simple, the flavour of the chutneys really packed a punch and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
For drinks, we ordered a California Smoothies. This was somewhat of an acquired taste. The combination of pineapple and honey is strange, and although I enjoyed it, I don't believe many will.
For starters, we ordered a Minestrone soup (named fancily on the menu). This was excellent. It was tangy and had the right amount of spice. The pasta and vegetables added to it complimented the soup well, and it was enjoyable to eat morsels of those in between drinking the soup.
For main course, we ordered an Open Vegatable Lasagne. This comes with oregano, chilli flakes and parmesan cheese, something which I got particularly excited about. The lasagna is very well cooked. The sauce lacked flavour, but it was offset by the cheese and the addition of some parmesan.
For dessert, we ordered a Khumbani ka Meetha, which is basically apricots soaked in a hot honey sauce with cashews chopped in. This was again delightful. The oversweetness of the honey was cut well by the fruitiness of the apricots. Once the apricots were all eaten, we found the sauce much too sweet to consume all on its own. The cashew adds something hard to bite on, but flavour-wise, it didn't contribute much.
The service here is excellent. The staff greet you at the door and guide you to a seat. They set your napkins for you. They recommend items from the menu for you. They even ask you how the last dish was, after you've finished it. Overall, very polite, very professional and very good.
As expected, the prices are sky high. ₹1000+ for two people is a minimum for a full meal, since even the portion sizes are not that large. Ensure you have money in the bank before you decide to eat here.
A terrific place to visit for those special occasions. Excellent atmosphere and excellent food.

I went for breakfast at hotel gangakashi.The cost for breakfast was good but food items which should be there in that much cost was not there.The doughnuts were really bad.The good thing of this hotel is the ambiance and second thing they offered dry fruit you get dry fruit on Sunday brunch and most of hotel do not give dry fruits.The live counter service was good.
Wonderful Ambience.. Couple of Complementary dishes were also provided. Serve food in the Dim light, which is fairly unique experience. Pianist accompanies with mild music. Very Fresh food served. Butter Chicken gravy was uniquely delicious.

A place with sophisticated ambiance and service . You wont get much choice but whatever they have is at best taste you could get in Nagpur . Its a place where you can try different types of tortilla like quesadilla and also Lasagne / Lasagna . After a long time ate juicy chicken in Nagpur , which was perfectly cooked . They are all set to open there rooftop by next month . In One word CLASSY !

Been here today and I must say it's one of the most happening places in Nagpur... The experience has been superlative! The food served here is so scrumptious and the staff is very amiable. Ambience is typically American and I had a fantastic time with my family here. Would love to come here again because of the service these people provide. This place will certainly burn a hole in your pocket, but with such dainty food and stylish ambience who cares about the moolah being spent. 😊 😄
Happening place. Theme is US based and ambiance is supporting that upto great extent. Menu is totally new experience, very good taste for some dishes and some dishes had too much butter and chees.
I really like fish (karachi mahi), lasagne was good so does starters. Staff was very cooperative and humble but food serving time was bit high.
Also there were less items available in dessert although mentioned in menu, they were out of stock.
All and all good experience, restaurant is situated at 6th floor and offers a great view, u can also use the telescope for better viewing.

This place has recently opened at Hotel Ganga Kashi, beside Eternity mall. Real nice set up with a posh fine done ambience and good décor. There were booths as well as the normal 4&6 seater tables. The crockery lives up to the hotel's name which is all gold plated. This hotel is named Au 79 as it represents the element gold and 79 is its atomic number. The staff is really hospitable and they have you escorted right from the doorstep of the hotel till the restaurant on the 7th floor.
On being seated, we were welcomed with a welcome drink of masala Coke as well as was served with masala papad cones which was spicy yet really delicious. We tried the minestrone soup as well as the shrimp one, both of which were a real delight.
For main course we tried the Au 79 chicken, which is essentially a butter chicken with an extra Creamy edge served as a whole with an amazing appearance. The service of this dish was also different wherein the gravy was poured over the chicken to give it a theatrical element. The chicken was succulent and for all the cream fans this is your dish as the gravy was to die for. We also tried a dessert which was essentially a honey fried noodle with ice cream.
The service is a bit slow but the food is amazing. The fine done experience is great and well thought about. The pricing is definitely high but worth the experience. We missed music in this place as they haven't yet got their latest system installed. Also we were told that the bar permit to this place hasn't yet come hence no hard drinks were served. Overall this place is a refreshing change in Nagpur with good seafood choices and fine dining taken to a new level.
Well the AU79 hasn't actually flagged off yet.. but Hotel Gangakashi has had a soft opening, a 3 star hotel.. as we were told by the staff.. After lazy movie day, me and my friends decided to check this place out and it's just beside eternity mall. The staff is too good and the service is excellent, giving the royal treatment and everything! There's a whole lot of choices in the menu which is multi cuisine.. you get various types of panipuris, chaats, shwarmas and dosas! We ordered sprouts pani puri, khus mus dosa(I hope I spelled it right!) and a cappuccino.. Taste is good but could have been better! The ambience is way too good! It's as good as being in a classy metro city restau! The 7th floor and rooftop restau are yet to be started though! But by the tour that we were given very graciously by the staff and by what we saw and heard, it is going to be an amazing hangout! They say first impressions are the last impressions.. and this one certainly left a lasting one!

Situated in the heart of City, yet silently away from chaos. They have both open air rooftop and indoor sittings. When i visited last sadly the rooftop was closed due to weather. They have adjoining baar attached ,so one can have a complete family dineout experience. Food is very good. Try their tandoor veg/non veg tikka , it's delicious. The chef perhaps is pretty good with most dishes asked for. And lastly the staff is very courteous and professional. Some restaurants have this basic problem of staff unresponsiveness but guys at this place seem to raise the bar. Do visit. It's awesome.
This is a beautiful beautiful restaurant. The ambiance is surreal, the staff is warm and welcoming. The items on the menu have weird names but they taste amazing. Don't order too much because the portions they serve is huge.
A little costly, but if you are lucky an artist would play the Piano and make every penny you spend worth it.
Au79 is one of the most amazing restaurant in Nagpur. You actually don't feel you are in Nagpur when you are in here. The ambience is way too good! The fine dine experience is awesome and well thought about. The staff is too good with excellent service and royal treatment. :)
The restaurant is decorated like a 70s route 66 American diner... Tastefully done except for some garish appointments in the form of artificial flowers on the table... The name signifies the be gold theme that the cutlery and crockery add to the decor ... In contrast to the American diner interiors... One part of the restaurant has huge glass windows that offer a good view... Has a wonderful bar counter but no alcohol served here... There is a pianist who plays here in the evening.... The food served is tasty... Indian portion sizes are larger... A touch of class is the accompaniment of parmesan cheese with the pasta dishes... The servers are extremely polite. Good place to have dinner if you are fine having dinner in a restaurant with a pub feel to it...

Indian food was good. But chinese hot and sour soup was too too spicy, which we also metioned to staff.good view from the restaurant,specially during day time. Great service by their staff, Anshul
What a beautiful ambience!! Nagpur looks pretty awesome from the 6th floor.
We ordered pepper chicken tikka, stuffed chicken drumsticks and chicken biryani. All the dishes were cooked to perfection. They didn't compromise on the quantity or quality.
I just wish they had everything they had written in the dessert section. I really wanted to taste tiramisu or darsan and other dishes also...But unfortunately only ice cream and gulab jamun were available. :(
This is my first visit to Gangakashi. Ordered Dijaj Nariyal shorba with chilli fish. The soup was good and the fish too good. For mains we had chooza besh kimtee, chooza I guess symbolizes chicken. Sounded funny but the dish was good. Minced chicken stuffed in chicken meat. The chicken was good but the dish was average. Were too stuffed to try desserts. The staff is courteous and recommends if you ask them. Ambience is good. Staff said the terrace is open in evening only. All in all a good experience. One time visit is recommended.
Place is small for huge croud. Dj is absolutely awesome, food is delicious and there's a bar also in there so you all can drink.

AU 79 - Hotel Gangakashi is a fine dining restaurant located besides eternity mall. Parking here should not be a problem as nit parking plaza is besides it. The restaurant is on the 6th floor of the hotel. As you enter you can see some antique showpieces and a piano.
Coming to the food,
Firstly, they serve you welcome drink : "Mint Blast" which was made using mint juice, sprite and lemon juice.
Next Complimentary snack served was "Fryums" with mint chutney.
For drinks we had , "Chocolate Liquor Shake" and "Chocolate Monkey". The "Chocolate Liquor Shake" was something different. It had a flavor of almonds, Green Cardamon and Chocolate.
For Main Course we had , " Kumb Kakori" which was Mushroom kebab marinated in different Indian spices.
For Main Course we had , "Subz Jugal Bandi"
which was combination of different vegetables served in thick tomato puree. For breads we ordered " Assorted Bread Basket " which contains 8 types of Indian Breads like : Tandoori Roti, Missi Roti, Naan stuffed with potato mixture, Mughlai Paratha stuffed with egg , Waqri Paratha, Lacha Paratha and Ulta tawa ka paratha which is basically Nawabi Paratha cooked on an inverted griddle, slightly sweet in taste.
For deserts we had , Banana Split : Two scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream and One soop of Black Currant Ice-cream topped with nuts.
The sevice was little slow but the food was amazing. The staff was polite and attentive. The live piano in the background highlighted our meal.
Overall, one should definitely try this place.
