One of the best south indian restaurants i have been to in Nagpur so far, anyone who is actually aware of the real taste of South India will love this place.
Tried their thatte idli, was cooked well not wet. Masala dosa is fine. Sambhar is bit too watery. Should improve sambhar consistency. Chutneys are good.

The food is really good and the staff also I have tried these dishes but the best was schezwan masala dosa and also appe or paniyarams are recommended here.
Absolutely loved the Bonda soup and the South Indian meals (Thaali) at Tanjore. The spread is diverse and interesting and you are left with a happy stomach. The rasam, sambhar and tamarind rice are especially must try and I would definitely keep going back for these. If you're in the mood to satisfy a cheese craving, you should definitely try the open chilli cheese masala dosa. Absolutely loved it. And how can I not talk about the filter coffee here! In terms of the coffee aroma and strength, it is simply bang on the money. Good food, great taste and happy tummies!
I tried the Bonda Soup here - a suggestion from my brother. And I absolutely loved it! Great ambience, very courteous staff. Will definitely visit again.
The most appreciative fact about this place is that, they have been able to maintain their quality standards at a consistent level, which in today's time is hard.
Just visited Tanjore in Abhyankar Nagar today and to my surprise the place was owned by my very old friend.The food was super delicious and great hospitality by the staff. I would suggest all of you to visit once and definitely eat any of the rice item. Tomato rice was the best among all the dish I had ordered

This south Indian restaurant has a grand exterior ambience but the similar setting is missing inside the restaurant. This one is really simple restaurant with simple ambience. Special south Indian thali had numerous items served in small quantities and was good to taste. Open butter masala dosa was really delicious, a must have here. Filter coffee was also great. The pricing is quite moderate and the service is also fast. Just they can try to improve the ambience a bit.

Finally there is a place in Nagpur which serves lip smacking south Indian food along with a relaxing and feel good ambience. Having tried the south indian staple dishes - dosa, idli, wada and uttapam, I can say the food is absolutely delicious (which includes the sambhar and coconut chutney as well). Apart from these foods, they even offer the homely classic south Indian dishes like pongal, rice and rassam, tamarind rice, lemon rice etc. The menu also lists some other Indian dishes like pav bhaji, chola bhatura etc. The rates are totally VFM. This is a great place for having breakfast / lunch / dinner with your family or friends. The vibe at the restaurant is extremely soothing. Service is fast, the staff being very polite.

Perfect place for South Indian breakfast! Trued Paniyaram, Neer Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, Cheese Masala Dosa, schezwan uttapam and Basundi! My favourite thing of this place has to be the strong filter coffee they serve! Just love it!

An amazing place for south Indian cuisine. I liked the cheese uttapam the most. Other items are also good. Place is huge and clean. They have also started serving some north Indian items. Prices are high.
Few days back i have visited this place to try some authentic south Indian food. I had tried their special podi idli very first time and it was great in taste and some new taste which was highly recommended. Tried their masala dosa which was okay in taste. Looking forward to try something new from their menuπ
This place is certainly one of my favourites when It cones to South Indian food or breakfast. My favourite is The tiffin and butter masala dosa.π
But on the other hand, the chole bhature is a bit disappointing and so are the drinks.π¬

Visited on a rainy evening for dinner and it was a worth it experience.
Ordered Tomatoe onion uttapama and a cold coffee.
Cold was chilled cream chocolaty and with right flavours of coffee.
Uttapama was good too with right ingredients. Service is fast. Ambience is good.

Ordered for rasam rice and received sambar rice, twice this happened, please check the packs before you send it for delivery. Food taste is good but please check what's being packed.
Podi Idli here is out of the world..Vada tasted nice too. Tomato Chutney and Sambar were brilliant. But again Podi idli was the star. Definitely gonna try again!!

Tanjore serves authentic South Indian delicacies. Though they have huge seating place it is usually crowded (in weekends). I tried mysore cheese Dosa, poddi idli and they was amazing. π₯I highly recommend it.

A South Indian food place with one of the best interiors in Nagpur.
Food I had was Vada Sambhar and Chocolate Coffee Shake.
Service wise, the restaurant is very quick. Very small duration between placing order and getting it on my table.
Vada sambhar is good, it can get better if the vada's are a bit more softer and lesser fried as then it will not hold much oil with itself.
At just Rs.80, you get a full glass of Chocolate Coffee Shake. If you are person who likes their shakes thicker, then I recommend to mention the same while placing the order. For me, it was just a perfect blend!
Food was yummy but instead of Kanchipuram idli they served normal two idliβs and Kesari Bhat was not at all kesari that was little disappointing otherwise overall good food quality and taste even quantity of Upma and kesari Bhat sambhar was ample .... not to forget about chutneys one of the finest one I ever had thank you but please serve what has been ordered !
This place is known for it's South Indian cuisine and the taste compliments the name. The mysore masala dosa is a must try according to me. The ambience is good enough with two floors of dine in. Also the staff is very polite although the service is a bit slow. Apart from south Indian cuisine it also has a North Indian one if you want to have the usual lunch/dinner.
Great place if you are fan of south indian food. We were visiting Nagpur for a few days and enjoyed out meal here.
They have their daily specials which are prepared well and fresh and you wont find it in other South Indian restaurants.
The mangalorian buns were delicious, the dosa and uttapams were fresh along with their accompaniments of sambhar chutneys.
The filter coffee and teas were freshly prepared a little warm though . We wanted it to be scorching hot

I have been to Tanjore many many times & this is one restaurant that never disappoints with its taste and services. The sambar still tastes the same as it use to a couple of years back. The service is fast & prompt.
The waiters are friendly. Chairs & Sofa are comfortable.The rates are reasonable too (Menu rate is inclusive of GST).
Cheese fried Podi idli & Pineapple Shera is a must try item alongwith your ubiquitous Sambar wada. These are all tried & tested items, which we order every single time.
Manglore cheese masala dosa is also a nice variety to try.
Banglore masala dosa is something i tried for the first time & loved it. Definitely going to try this again.
Benee dosa is thick and heavy made from brown rice. I guess, you need to have that kind of appetite & taste for Benee Dosa.
