It's a 5mins walking distance from hotel Himalaya. it's a cosy lil cafe / bakery offering different pastries n cookies n stuff.
We ordered red velvet cake and some of their chocolate pastries all of which were great in taste.
So if you are in Nainital and wanna have some warm pastries definitely go check them out .

Classic definition of a cozy cafe with very artfully done interiors. The menu is obviously curated, so go with any random pick based on broad preference and it's gonna be good.
The best thing ever happened to Nainital, since the creation of the lake itself. The passion with which this little cosy restaurant is started, is evident in each aspect whether it's ambience, food, location or the service.. One feels like sitting in some hilly European town, enjoying his coffee while paying in INR.. Highly highly recommended

It’s a small coffee shop, run by a very pleasant lady and her family(?). It’s overlooks the lake. It’s cozy with small trinkets and cards all over.
It’s got no more than 10-12 seats and it’s a bit squished, but that’s the beauty of it. EnjoyEnjoyed every min..great Cakes cookies n coffee.. bakery items are superb. Love to come once again. Most convinient for those who stays in KMVN tallitaal adjacent to Lake

This is the most beautiful cafe I visited on my trip to Nainital. They have a bakery that can make you truly drool over it. The staff is really courteous. They serve tasteful tea and coffee as well. It is a neatly decorated place and is located facing the lake at mall road. It has a eye pleasing view outside.
Ahh let’s begin by truly appreciating the , humble and sweet customer service here . The baked goodies are lustrous , the beverages seem to be decent . The cafe offers bakery products , fresh beverages and a few oven goodies are available too ,the pizza was piquant. What I really love about this place is the ambiance it holds ! OMG I could seriously kill for such vibes. This is one the very few places that I would highly recommend and exhort people to try it out for themselves . You can sit chit-chat play a few board games, read a book ... and to top it all up, the cafe’s got a breathtaking picture perfect view of the lake ♥️
A perfect place to relax and enjoy after having a stroll in Nainital streets. The food is lip smacking and totally worth the price. Best dish was red velvet pastry, fries and shakes. The place is a small and well beautified setting with yellow lights and games and books to read. Love it!!

Visited this cafe while I was on a visit to Nainital a few months back. I must say the red velvet pastry that I had was one of the best ones I've ever had. The burger was also really yummy. Didn't really like the pizza. The ambience is nice and soothing. The staff members were really friendly. Must say overall it was a good experience here.
The ambience, the location, the interior, the food, the service.....uff can't describe how good I felt. This is the first time I've entered a homegrown cafe like this one. And this one had got Jenga blocks and Magic Pot books!!!! And also a spot on the wall to hang your feedbacks. I am literally in love with this cafe
I got my birthday cake from simz cafe it was awesome it was the best chocolate cake I could get. And it's a great place to hang around and play some table games with friends with a hot cup of coffee.

Food and coffee was worth every penny and there are some nice set of books for you to sit n' sip and glue yourself to the pages of imagination with a view of lake.
Only suggestion from me: music shouldn't be too loud.
Looking for a bakery in Nainital !!
Away for all the expensive bakery shops on the mall road, you will find this small and cute place near the Indian Oil petrol pump while going towards Thanda Road from Tallital bus-station.
Offering a good variety of cakes and pastries, at much lesser prices compared to the other bakeries on mall road, you can spend a good time with your partner.
Must try: It's a long list, so go and order everything.

Good place right on the sidewalk of the naini lake. The place is small with less number of seatings but they have pretty good options of having a quick snack. There are very few good cafés in nainital and this is surely one of the good ones.

It's a small cozy place with a lake view from it's windows.
The ambience there is quite nice and the food is also decent.
But what separates it from other places is the fact that they have books, different card games. So you can just there, relax and spend some quality time with yourself or others as well.
Amazing Cafe with some awesome interiors. It's a warm and cosy place. The food is awesome for decent price. They have many delicious pastry options. They have some books to read, UNo cards, chess and few other things for people who want to spend their time playing while eating.
We just made a quick coffee break at simz cafe while driving down from ranikhet to delhi. Its a small warm place, coffee was good. Good place to have a quick sip with loved one.
