My wifey loves the momos of this place, even more than the ones at China Town or Sonam's. I also find the taste to be better than the other two renowned momo restaurants. This shop is located on the back side of the Tibetan market and is as such not that crowded. There's a sitting area outside with benches where you can sit and enjoy the momos. They do offer other Chinese dishes too but I'll recommend you to try the momos first.
This is a gem of a find for being arguably one of the best momo joints in town. The place itself wouldn't make you feel so, being tucked away quietly in the far end of the hullabaloo of the Bhotia Market and the infamous China Town, but you surely won't be making any compromises on the taste or quality of the Momo's here. This is my first pick when it comes to having Momo's in Nainital, and I would happily place my bets on Tamang Momo's in a friendly war of rating the best Momo's in town. I rest my case here.
Now there is Tamang Momo and Fast Food. We tasted chowmein and veg momos. I must admit veg momos were better than Sonam's and chowmein was good too. Coffee and tea went just fine with the food. Must try momo place at Nainital. Will give Sakleys a run for the money.
Good for people who love mutton momos.
You might find a difficulty in finding this place.
So here i help you out .. when you reach the Tibetan market, then go to the back side of the market ( the lane following the toilet complex near the temple ) and you can easily reqch there.
If any one wants to have mutton or chicken its good to eat.
Undoubtedly the best momos shop!! I am a non-vegetarian, but I insist you to try their veg momos. Everything tastes great in their shop, chowmin, fried rice, momos etc.
Awesome momos . We took veg momos , chowmien and Thukpa . All the food was excellent . The shop is near Naina devi temple near Sulabh shauchalya complex .
Amazing momos. Must try. (in Bhutia market of Nainital)
