The brownie was delicious! The location is accessible. The ambience is warm and hospitable. A must visit place in nainital.
Had a good time at Sakleys again! This place never disappoints.
I tried :
1) Capsicum Onion Pizza
2) Red Sauce Pasta
3) Lemon Soda
4) Grilled Veg Sandwich
And in deserts :
1) Apple Pie
2) Chocolate Truffle with Ice cream
Everything was excellent taste wise. Especially the pasta and the deserts.
One thing that bugged was the quantity served a/c to the price mentioned.. which was less.
Service was good! And the place was cute and neat :)
Went exclusively for desserts and loved everything we tried.
Had warm chocolate truffle pasty(amazing), cute little chocolate ganache cake with raspberry filling(loved it), the chocolate eclair was okayish, the banoffee toffee pie was delicious and the warm robust apple pie was the definite best from the lot.
Took Apple pie for takeaway too and still tasted the same despite odd refrigeration and long duration.
Loved it. One of the best. Definitely worth the price.
Sakleys means Nostalgia for everyone who grew up in Nainital. After a few decades also their pastries are still the best with amazing coffee to go with. Try the lemon tarts, chocolate eclairs and the best Balckforest pastry in the world. All this for a fraction of the price we would pay elsewhere. Sakleys is legendary and a trip to Nainital is incomplete without a visit to this cafe
Pretty place, amazing food, bit on higher side but value for money. Amazing chef spcl chicken soup... Brilliant chicken pepper steak sizzler.
Surely will visit every time I am coming to Nainital.
The place has a classic english decor with beautiful vibes.
No doubt the cafe offers the 'authentic' swiss taste. You can actually feel the 'less preservatives' version of desserts.
However, the dishes are a bit overpriced.
Overall - 4/5

The thing with high expectations is it's difficult to meet them. Thankfully, that's not a problem Sakley's faces as it excels and lives up to its well deserved reputation.
On a break in Nainital, we finally ended up here for the white sauce pasta for our kids. The daughter enjoyed the mozzarella pizza and Ice tea, while the wife liked the egg sandwich. My hot and sour soup and chilly paneer also ticked all the right boxes.
Worth visiting whenever you're in town.
Recommended.
I’ve never had this tasty an apple pie. It was soft, perfect amount of sweet and served at proper temperature. The brownie was also amazing and melt in the mouth. This place is an absolute must for anybody visiting Nainital
Good food, good staff, a decent place to just go and have a coffee ,the ambience is nice their bakery products are amazing well Sakleys in all is a very famous name no doubts in that.
Great place. If in Nainital, must visit. Must have chocolate truffle with ice cream.
Also service is quick, if you are ordering deserts.
Rest orders will take time as they make fresh.
Nachos was not good although. But rest mocktails and shakes were also great.🤘🏻
Best in nainital if you are craving fir deserts.
Ambience is nice . Tried banana toffee pie and chocolate truffle. It was so good.
Staff is good.
Going to try Gurgaon outlet as well.
PS- Please ignore fena ad on TV 😂
The realest thin crust pizza around Nainital with a delicious range of sweet dishes. Could work on their apple pie's freshness but the ambience is spot on. Best place for a decent breakfast 💯
In love with the desserts here. Do try the banana toffee pie, the brownie and blueberry cheese cake. An absolute delight for dessert lovers.
A very cozy cafe near nainital lake .There is some magic in this very old cafe , warm and melodious music playing in the background. I especially loved the intro page and the Ruskin bond poem in their menu. We had cinnamon roll and it's fabulous. Well balanced flavours and crunchiness. Also we had onion paratha with some curd and chutney, it was delicious too. Then we had Cottage cheese steak sizzler and it was very bland and just okay. Finally we had Egg less brownie which was good.
Can't even justify through words how delicious their desserts are.
Must must must visit when you are in Nainital.
Once you've had a dessert from here, you won't ever forget the taste.
Haven't tried the savoury menu but will definitely try it next time!
In pictures are banofee toffee pie, blueberry cheesecake and apple pie.
I visited this place for dessert. It has a comfortable ambience with pretty and cool decor. The menu serving Continental cuisine and desserts looks promising.
We ordered a lemon cheesecake and a chocolate marbel cake. Both were decent. The cheesecake was heavy and creamy.
It's a fine place if you're a local and need to spend some time with a date as there are not many places in town where you'd find such a perfect environment for a discussion. Do try the truffles here.
I have heard a lot about this place as it was one of the oldest bakeries in Nainital and also famous for some special old style handmade desserts.
The only reason for giving it a 5/5 is its banana toffee pie, its the best dessert ever tried.
it is made from the same old recipe and has the perfect sweetness, not too much not too less.
A must.
Amazing find thanks to Zomato, were desperately trying to find some good and hygienic Italian for my kid who really loved the pasta and the good bakes on offer.
A gem of a place in Nainital, you won’t be able to resist the sweet temptations placed strategically at the very entrance.
We ordered a broccoli mushroom and corn pizza and a pasta in mixed sauce along with Sakleys special browney and an blueberry cheesecake.
An amazing experience for the entire family.
this is a cosy little eatery in nainital offering great food...the pineapple pastry is to die for....the cold coffee is brilliant so are the chilli potatoes...the place is nice and clean...one of the best restaurants in nainital...it is conveniently located on the mall road...value for money
After a lot of foot travel and site seeing, we settled for a 🔥 hot cup of 🍵 Coffee and some quick bite. Loved the interiors and the warmth the place oozes...perfect for a date or a laid back Sunday afternoon... Had a big mug of Cappuccino with Veg. Patty and my darling drooled over the desert which was amazingly mouth melting and yummy 😋 The coffee was brewed well no the patty was fresh and crisp. The prices are on the higher side, both coz if it's legacy and the taste. Overall a place to look forward when you are in Nainital 😍😘 @leyshakti
When you come to a hill station with cool breeze and beautiful sunshine coming from heaven!!! You need something to match it and Sakley’s gives you what you need,,, best place to make your tummy grub happy and your eyes mesmerised by the looks of it... I can’t exaggerate much but the ambience and the food it to good to be true.... if you visit Nainital do go there and have a blast of taste bombarded towards you!!!....
My most of favourite place, whenever i visit to nainital not far way from my home town, just in love with baked goodies of here... Must visit place
The visit to Nainital remains in-complete without their pastries and food. Their food - I tried Paratha, penne pasta , omelette- All well done and well put on the disk. You pay prices like a 4-star property in Delhi - But still worth it.
By the lake of Nainital, there is this small eatery with big mouth savouring dishes and cakes . Decor and ambience was perfect.
Had chocolate truffle cheesecake pastry and banana toffee pie.
Both of the pastries were so good in flavours and taste. Although cheesecake was too sweet for me but I really liked the taste and banana toffee pie was right in proportions.
All in all good experience.
Do I recommend? Yes.
Nanital being the beautiful hill station..Sakley experience makes your visit all the more memorable. Go specially for their desserts..the best dessert in town! Banoffee was outstanding.
Highly recommended!
Sakley’s is nestled in one corner of the Mall Road in the beautiful town of Nainital. Its a cute lil cafe with good food and nice ambience. It seemed very popular as ppl were waiting outside for a table. I tried their chicken sizzler and the banana toffee pie. The sizzler was ok but the pie was to die for. Not only did I order seconds but I also got it packed to take home and binge on it during my midnight dessert craving session. Overall a nice experience
Banana toffee pie , truffle brownie , cheese cake were scrumptious. Red velvet cake wasnt fresh but when complained to staff they politely took it back. A must visit place to visit in nainital.
Food - 4/5 - This place offers a variety of cuisines. The price is on the higher side but overall it's the best place to have continental cuisine in Nainital.
Deserts - 4.5/5 - One of the best bakeries in Nainital, it has assorted types of pastries and pies.
Ambience - 3.5/5 - The whole seating arrangement is a bit chaotic and there can also be waiting if you're going in a big group. There are less waiters and more people due to which it might take sometime to order food.
Overall it's a good experience if you want to find a good restaurant that offers good variety in the mall road facing the Nainital Lake.
It's hard to find a good coffee Cafe in nanital and sakleys exactly comes to your rescue. It's got the English feel. The coffee is good. The view from this place is pleasant. So if you want to have a cup of coffee with some pasterie with a view then do visit this place in the heart of mountains.
Brilliant Swiss baking at its finest. Loved the ambience, the history behind the story, the bakery items were too good. At par with any 5 star bakery in Delhi/Mumbai.
Polite & friendly service by staff.
Must try-
1. Carrot cake with frosting
2. Lemon tart
3. Apple pie
4. Chocolate truffle
Very good place for relaxing with good cakes and snacks. Had cheese cake, nuggets and chefs special soup from here. Really good. Situated in the heart of nainital opposite to nainital lake on the mall road. Must visit when you are in nainital. Staffs are very much attentive.
Good service and atmosphere. I didn't have proper food but tried ginger lemon honey tea, pastry and kashmiri kahwa. Drinks were amazing, pastry was okay but it was fresh. Slightly more costly as well I felt.
They have indoor seating space available.
This cafe is in the middle of the heart of Nainital. The bakery products are truly delicious. Coffee was extremely tasty. They also provide Indian food. The veg thali was equally tasty. The price is on the higher side but given the taste of the food, it is justified.
A great bakery in heart of Nainital. I have visited this place multiple times and every thing I have tried has turned out to be great in taste. I would really recommend their baked items. The price is on the higher side. This place is just infront of the stadium parking at the beginning of the mall road.
Sakley's is the oldest bakery in Nainital established in the 1800s. It is situated in Mallital. They got great cheesecakes, pastries, tarts, tiramisu, and cakes. Along with patisserie they also have food options. It's not usually busy or crowded but if you are visiting during long weekends or holidays then it will be jam packed. Also the service is very slow during that time. They also have cottages in Nainital and it's a great option to consider for staying.
Don't forget to try baked caramel cheesecake, tiramisu and cinnamon roll.
The prices are justifiable for their desserts but the food isn't that great for the price you are paying.
Nice place with good ambiance. Waiting time after ordering is on a little higher side. They say they cook fresh. .
Nice ambience
Pastries are really Amazing.
We also tried wontons - They were extra spice
noodles- They were fine
Spring Rolls - Extra Salty
They took feedback but didn’t do anything .
I would recommend this place only for Good Pastries and Coffee.
Prices - A little on a higher side.
Hence it is a 3.5 star overall for me.
All these things costed us 1500 Rs
The cake was delicious and the atmosphere was peaceful. We ordered carrot cake and caramel cheesecake. I liked the carrot cake more. The cheesecake was a little dense. Service was also delightful.
Love the vibe of this place. If you are in Nainital, you should try their chocolate truffle pastry. It was so delicious - it tastes heavenly😋
Heard a lot about their cakes and pies so we were very eager to try this place out. Turns out they do serve the most scrumptious dessert with pocket friendly prices. We tried Chocolate truffle cake, carrot walnut cake , apple pie and banoffee pie
Carrot walnut cake was that one slice of heaven that we just couldn't have enough of it, highly recommend this place.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that offered some of the best patties, burgers, and cheesecake I have ever tasted. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was excellent. However, it was the food that truly stood out.
First, the patties were fantastic. They were perfectly crunchy with good stuffing . The burgers were just as impressive. They were made with home made buns and came with all the classic toppings.
I'm a big fan of cheesecake, so I was excited to try theirs. It was some of the best blueberry cheesecake I've ever had. It was creamy, rich, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The crust was also excellent - it was crunchy and had a nice buttery flavor that complemented the cheesecake perfectly.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a delicious meal that includes amazing patties, burgers, and cheesecake. The food is top-notch, the service is great, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It's definitely worth a
Good ambience. Cute cafe. We had American Chopsey and Shredded chicken. Food was good and had good quantity. Slightly expensive.
Located in Mallital area on Mall Road just adjacent Rope Way. Have ordered a Regular Cappuccino and a Vegas Cheese Pizza.
Don't forget to finish your meal with their pastries and cakes. I took their Cinnamon Roll.
Loved the food . No doubt it's a must visit when you visit Nainital .service is very good and fast though it's quite crowded .
I ordered wonton veg soup . They didn't have proper vegan options but Vegetarian options were good enough

Some good food in the heart of Nainital. The oldest bakery apparently, which traces the whole history of Nainital back with photos and the charm of the colonial era on their cafe wall. The cakes were good except for the Apple Pie and the mousse cake. They have a variety of pastas and other continental food. The staff was friendly and the place was neat and clean.
Food ia amazing, I had the best blueberry cheesecake, lemon tart, choco Truffle, pineapple cake. All were delicious. Apple pie was equally good.
This place gives nice vibes. Pastries here are quite good. Must try a hot chocolate drink.
