We stumbled upon this beautiful place on our way to Almora. One of the best sensory and visual experiences. The host is a wonderful person with a penchant for living life authentically. The food is excellent aided by courteous staff. Tyson, the resident dog is the best companion to explore this beautiful farm-cafe. Please do pay a visit if you’re crossing by. I know I will definitely visit again. Lots of love. - Yamini
While driving towards Mukteshwar road we stopped at Meraki cafe near lower Peora for snacking. Located on a vibrant picturesque location with a majestic view of himalayas, Café Meraki is one of a kind, a bright and airy space with open air sitting.
It is a contemporary Herbal Tea Cafe. We ordered Coffee and their signature herbal tea made from garden fresh herbs along with Omelette and sandwich, all were delicious. Especially, the Herbal tea was perfect, it had just right amount of sweetness and the blend of herbs. They also served Kumaoni delicacy.
As we entered the cafe the owner Mr. Diwan Matiyani himself offered us a mini tour of their newly built homestay and the organic farm.
They grow herbs like thyme, mint, basil, oregano to n number of spices, fresh organic vegetables and fruit plants.
If your are looking for chilled, relaxed time to spend in a homestay with a cafe with good view, Highly recommend. So happy with everything.
Its surely "let's go to chirping tales" ...anytime.

Loved the pahadi food, the best was the chaulai ki sabji and bhang chatni. Refreshing and soothing atmosphere, nice rosemary thyme tea. We also had a tour of their own farm, had a great chat with the owner.
We had authentic Kumaoni lunch made from farm fresh vegetables and herbs. If you are looking to eat amazing food at a peaceful location, Cafe Meraki is place to be.
We stopped here on our way from Kasar devi back to Mukteshwar. Had a great evening at Cafe meraki. We ate pakode, maggi & herbal tea and they also prepared omelette for our pet dog (Its a a pet friendly homestay as well). Their herbal tea is a must try. Uncle is really sweet, he showed us their organic garden and gave us fresh strawberries too. Had a good time chit chatting with him. A must visit cafe near Mukteshwar!!
Overall very good stay at this beautiful property, landscaped very nicely by the owners itself. Must visit place near Mukteshwar for peaceful stay.
Beautiful place and feels like a home away from home. The owner was extremely kind and even got us some handpicked cherry tomatoes and radishes which were delicious. The food was homely and really good and don't miss out on their herbal tea, which is one of a kind. Mr Diwan (the owner) also showed us around the stunning farm which had a wide variety of plants and flowers. Tyson, the dog was such a sweetheart and he's such a handsome dog too! The conversations were also really special and Mr Diwan had such great stories to tell, we really didn't want to stop talking! My family truly had a wonderful time at Cafe Meraki, which we stumbled upon by luck and will stay in our hearts for life :)

Nice peaceful place for organic tea and kumaoni delicacies. Great place to spend time in nature while having snacks or food.
Outstanding ambience, green foliage with a little pond,
We had roti and dal as sabjis / chicken/ mutton etc were not readily available.
The food served was excellent.
