Kheema: this kheema was with a twist as they add mutton pieces to the kheema. So u can enjoy both kheema Nd pieces in one bite.
Bhakri: both jwari and bajri bhakri were tasty
Highlight was having a bird...yes titar gravy is what we had. Do try it if u r open for experimentation.
Mango mastani was tasty too
Amazing local food joint near Nasik highway. We had lunch here while on our way back to Mumbai. The food was amazing and the service was quick. The staff was the sweetest they helped us order the best things on the menu and truly the dishes turned out to be the best Mahrashtrian cuisine we have had in a long time.
We ordered the Chicken Bhuna, Surmai Masala, bajra bhakri and the most innovative dessert called Saheba.
Ambience was local dhaba style without AC but the place is huge and basic hygiene is maintained.
The food and service deserve a 5 star rating for sure.
Nice and fresh sea food and mutton kheema. Must visit when in Nashik. Would recommend to try bombil fry, paplet fry and kolambi fry for sure.

The food here is very good and just mouth watering. We ordered veg biryani, chicken kalamiri kabab, and chicken tikka handi. I still remember the taste on the tip of my tongue.
It is a very simple place like Dhaba, nothing fancy. If you expect a fancy hotel with fancy washrooms then this place is not for you.
But if you are ready to compromise with hygiene and enjoy food then this is the best place while traveling.
The location is best and we even saw a few Marathi actors there like Atul Parchure and Pushkar Shrotri.

I don't know the dictionary meaning of Saheba, but it should be synonymous to excellent taste and service. It's an open air place with selective but perfect menu. They serve some authentic maharashtrian dishes with love. Their best is thecha (made of green chilli) Bombil fry, mutton sukka and chicken leg masala. As i was alone, that's all I could order. But I am sure that everything at Saheba will be bliss to your taste buds. In hot days, the place is not so comfortable as there is no air conditioning. But, who cares when your food is so delicious?!
Last week we were visited at Nashik . We had take lunch at Saheba Restaurant at Mumbai Naka, Beside Mahamarg Bus Stop (Nashik.) Saheba Hotel is Traditional Maharashtrian Restaurants as well as Family Restaurant. I order Chicken Handi, Gavathi Chicken Masala and Bhakri. those Dishes were vary délicieux.

My LO likes chicken and allied food. So, I ordered for chicken clear stalk with specific instructions of non spicy, no over garlic etc etc. All instructions followed well. This is a place where you may want to go as a large group and enjoy core Maharashtrian Non-Veg. The price is very reasonable. The downside is that ambience or anything is not child friendly and you have to find old classic ways to entertain your child till the wait for food is over. With the kind of ambience, I wish if there were rabbits or some kind of animals roaming or for a show. (Although, there was a cat roaming of-course). I do visit this place when I am in Nashik. My relatives have witnessed many Marathi theater actors rejoicing here as well :)
This is my favourite place and never disappoints. Serves excellent Mutton chop dish, thecha, awesome bhakris . Their local papad is worth trying. Had been there again for lunch yesterday, but opted for light vegetarian lunch. Had thecha, bhakri ( jowar and Bakra) with Pithla. Food was superb. Would like to mention about their staff Shiva who manages the second row. He is great in service and gives excellent suggestions. A very nice place to visit regularly
First time writing review on Hotel from Nashik. Went to Nashik for some work and due to close proximity to Mahamarg ST stand I prefer this.
Hotel and interior both good. This hotel is well known for Maharashtrian food. I order Paya Soup, Gavathi Chicken Masala and Bhakri. All three dishes were superb. Staff, service and quantity both are good. In fact rates are also economical.
Ds food joint is a huge infrastructure wd ample of sitting arrangements just outside CBS bus stand and can catch hold of anyone's attention. We decided to have our lunch prior to taking our journey to Mumbai. The staff is humble and guides well for chosing d preparations based on ur tastebud desires!!!😄😄😄

Paneer tikka was good, d red gravy of tiranga special was average but quantity was quite sufficient for 4, luved d thechaa, n ofcourse Chaas was just amazing. Dal khichdi, dal tadka n masale bhat tasted nearly average.
But overall a sound experience;wd not mind visiting again, if no other better option is identified 😇😜😇

From outside the place looks like a fine dine but when u enter u realise it is homemade style food serving place with a huge seating for around 100-120 people. Food is awesome, tried the chicken bhunna and chicken handi both were amazing. You also get home style bhakri.
The place which serves best Maharashtrian food . Both , non veg and veg tastes best here . I ordered chicken handi and shev bhaji . The taste was outstanding . Even though they take half an hour to prepare but taste is best . Whenever I visit Nashik , I visit this hotel . A love from Mumbaikar

Food was good, we ordered chicken fry, chicken bhunna n bazri bhakri.
Chicken fry was very dry actually no gravy, waiter suggested us chicken bhunna it was yummy and just went well with bazri bhakri.

Saheeba is a restaurant next to a bus depot and so please do not visit the restaurant if you are looking out for some class but if you do not mind having tasty food without frills this is the place. Service is prompt. Waiters are helpful and clued up with the dishes served. The cook house is neat. This is total value for money type of a place. Shall definitely visit the place again and again
I just love the taste of food which is serve in Saheba Restaurant.
The ambiences is not that good or hygiene is maintained but trust me when you have the food your stomach won't be upset neither your taste birds, and at the same time it's worth value for money . So if you are planning to have some typical Maharashtrian food please go for it.

My fly n I were in Nashik yesterday , looking for a decent restaurant to lunch at and came across Saheba randomly on Zomato listings and decided to go for it as they served malwani Maharashtrian food .Our experience food wise was excellent ...ambience -wise was a let down but at tht point in time food was more on our minds so overlooked the ambience and 'bhojanalay' setting .Ordered the crab masala (4/5),prawn fry ( 4/5 ) ..large succulent tasty prawns, they did not have bombil fry which we asked for .The Bajra bhakri was something new and different to us,and went well with the 'mutton chops n kheema' handi..good portion sizes .The mutton handi would rate 4/5...but have tasted better in other malwani places too.Food was served on steel plates but they were changed regularly for each course....there was a fiery green chutney which was a good accompaniment ,which only I could handle not the others in the fly.Food was spicy but flavorsome .The proprietor Mr. Laxmikant is an affable man ..very attentive and helpful in our selection of dishes ,more so as the menu was in Marathi n nobody wanted to decipher it..we left the selection to him.The service was very good and spot-on ...we ended our lunch with the awesome Mastanis ..sitaphal and mango Mastani...rich,creamy,,high -cal ,loaded with flavours (sundaes).We were replete ..it was a good lunch rounded up with meetha paan :-)

A very regular bhojanalaya kind of a place but with superb food. Everything is extremely spicy but extremely tasty. Repeated order of Chicken in Kala Masala thrice. Mutton kala masala, kadhai chicken and chicken kala masala were just fantastic. Highlight was the super spicy 'thecha', it was some green chili and garlic paste, super spicy but super tasty. Must recommended if you are visiting nashik.

First time I've visited this place, as I was first time visited Nasik, the all credit goes to my friend for the wonderful lunch at Saheba.
We ordered Gavathi Chicken Handi, Bajara Bhakari and Sev Bhaji which is signature dish of Nasik. I simply loved the food. Food is delicious and flavorful. Don't miss this place when you are in Nasik.
Though this place looks like a wedding hall, food here is really awesome! We tried bombil fry which was out of this world. Then came the prawns fry which were huge and fresh and yummy! For main course we had ordered gaavran chicken masala with bhakri. The bhakri was good but the chicken pieces didn't have much flesh. We were later told by the manager that gavran chicken is usually bony with less flesh. However the taste of the masala was really good. Last but not the least the sol kadhi was also yummy! Go for it if you are a malwani sea food lover!
It's been years now m visiting this resturant now and food still taste the same.. Here u won't get mughals or punjabi kind of food.. But what is you get is simply delicious.. Real taste of country side food. Desi chicken and vegetarian dishes.. Shev bhaji and bhakri.. and best gavti chicken handi.. Ambience is good but it was way better before then now. Staff and service is good. Real value of for ur money... If you ever visit nasik this is the place you should not miss.. Go for Saheba
A must place to visit for the Non-Veg lovers. Authenticate Marathi and Malvan Non-Veg is served here. But don't expect Kolhapuri Tamda/Pandhara rassa here. Quality of Non-Veg food is just awesome.
No Thali system is listed on the Menu. But you have ample number of Chicken/Mutton dishes to order. There is nothing special for Vegetarian guys, so don't complain. ;-) . The best thing is, you can view the kitchen and see how they prepare the food.

The recent renovations have changed the look of the place slightly though not much has changed on the inside.
They serve on stainless steel plates (But no 'Thali' system). The Malvani and Kolhapuri items are pretty good. I have tried almost everything on the menu. 'Chicken Bhuna' with 'Bhakri' is my favourite.
Skip this place if you're very particular about hygiene, because that's one area where Saheba takes a blow. The service is quite fast and the quality of food is pretty decent. One of the pocket-friendly places in Nashik. A lunch for 4 cost us ₹750.

Saheba has been around for like 2 decades if I am not wrong; do correct me if I am. We usually get takeaways because the ambience is way below average. So the rating that I have assigned is just for their yummy food. Their chicken handi and butter chicken are excellent. Tried their vegetarian dishes too. Their paneer dishes are simply delicious. A simple dish like dal tadka that can wake your tastebuds up, it's that good. And the prices are very reasonable. The quantity is more than sufficient. Your tummy will be happy without making your pocket sad. :)

Heard about this restaurant from my colleague. Its actually located at Mumbai Naka. Food is available as ala-carta. Maharashtrian, Punjabi and Chinese food is served.
Self being Maharashtrian, obviously ordered non veg Maharashtrian cuisine. The food was superb. Desi chicken, liver fry, chapatti and jowari bhakri was a delicacy. Ambience is simple, non ac. It basically looks like a dining hall.
One of my first hideouts in Nasik. Famous for its Butter Chicken and Roomali Roti. Ambiance has improved especially after renovation. Moreover, the staff knows their menu well. If you are a first timer here and don't know what to order, you can be assured that the recommendation made by the staff will be a good one. A must try!!
