One of the Best museums I ever went to.
First you enter the main Hall having beautiful art work and Maharana Pratap's used weapons. There they also show a short film about him,the short film made us more excited for the later part of the museum.
Later there are tableaus depicting many moments in the life of Maharana Pratap.
Lovely experience. Great place to visit with family. Ticket for one person is 120 and 60 for kids between 3-10 age group. We got to know so much of facts about Haldighati when we visited this place. Kids never get bored coz a short movie, boat riding and atmosphere of villages, and above that horse and camel riding also are more than enough to keep them engaged for 2-3 hours. Overall I loved the place. Must visit it once.

If you want to feel proud of brave souls of India, this is one of those place. Museum tells the story of Battle of Haldighati which was all about bravery of Maharana Pratap. His horse Chetak showed the dedication to his master and now his name is associated with Maharana Pratap forever. If you’re in Udaipur then this is the must visit place. History lover or not but this place gives you the vibe of bravery and sacrifices for your country.
Awesome place filled with Maharana Pratap's memories and history about Haldighati. There is a light and sound show going on throughout the day after short intervals telling about the valour and bravery of Maharana and his soldiers. Good place to visit.
This one and only museum in Haldighati is a way to explore and learn more about our culture. This museum shows a short movie about the life of Maharana Pratap. Contains statues, Three Dimensional model forts , paintings and depiction of life in forms of statues. If you are a fan of history, than this place is must visit.
The museum helps in knowing the story of Maharana Pratap and Udaipur in general..It would be good if you start your tour with audiovisual stories that are explained here to Chittorgarh and kumbhalgar forests and city palace.
There are also handicraft shops inside.
But it's better to have cash to take admission tickets as online facilities were not available.Good to visit especially with children
Very nice experience. You can experience the historical stories of Maharana Pratap here by videos as well as 3d models. Story telling by 3d model is awesome. In mesume many things are archived. After all this there is a small village set up that shows how they ( people of Haldighati) live their life. And you can also enjoy water boat that runs with pedal.
Historical place, very nicely maintained. The museum is very good and the commentary and 3d show is very unique and enjoyable. Plus the queue and managing the line etc is very nice.. Reliving old Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle days as a child
An Iconic Maharana Pratap Museum builded in Haldighati to remind his bravery and strengthfull life by video and audio visualization.

चेतक और प्रताप
I dedicate this day of my travel to both of them. Learned so many things. I won't go in detail. Rana Pratap's life summary can be seen in pic 1. Usually, visitors here watch two to four sites, namely, Maharana Pratap Museum.
One interesting fact I must share about Pic 11, where Chetak and Rana Pratap are charging on Raja Maan Singh (seating on elephant), you can see Chetak's face is covered with elephant's mask. This mask was put on Chetak purposely to confuse Maan Singh's elephant!!! This is the moment when Chetak's leg got deeply cut by mahout of Raja Maan Sigh which proves to be fatal, late in the same day.
Raja Maan Singh was representing Mughal Emperor Akbar in the battle of Haldighati.
The museum is totally accessed with the help of audio guide which is very much user friendly.
Pic 5 is waiting hall before main museum.
Travel cost for future Reference: Auto cost for Haldighati from
Udaipur Rs 1500.00;
Ticket for Museum Rs 150.00 &
Audio Guide Rs 120.00
This is a must visit in Haldighati, the audio visual briefing of our Legend Maharana Pratap sends shivers through the spines.
Jai Ho Maharana Pratap Singh ki..
Very close to Chetak Samadhi.
The site of this amazing museum marks the records and history of Haldighati and saga of Maharana Pratap. It is one of the best museum of Rajasthan and actually helps the visitor to understand the happenings of Haldighati war and life of Maharana.
They showcase a short film show showing the history and power of Maharana Pratap and fight against Mughals. They have lots of antique, symbolic structures, collections from history.
The museum charges are pretty nominal, actually they should increase the prices slightly.
The Maharana Pratap Museum in Haldighati is an absolute gem for history enthusiasts and curious tourists alike. As someone who recently visited, I was thoroughly impressed by the immersive journey through the life and times of the legendary Maharana Pratap.
The museum provided a comprehensive overview, delving into the kings preceding and succeeding Maharana Pratap, giving context to his era. What truly stood out was the meticulous detailing of Rana Pratap's life, showcased through artefacts, life-sized statues, and vividly crafted models. It felt like stepping back in time and witnessing history unfold before my eyes.
The walkthrough exhibit was a highlight, vividly portraying pivotal moments from Maharana Pratap's life. Additionally, the documentary offered deeper insights into his remarkable journey, enriching the experience further.
One unique aspect was the live demonstration of traditional processes like gulabjal and gulkand making, allowing visitors to engage with the culture firsthand. The added bonus was the opportunity to purchase these authentic products from the onsite shops.
Overall, the Maharana Pratap Museum is an enriching and captivating experience, providing a captivating glimpse into the life of a true historical hero. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking to explore and appreciate India's rich history.
One of the best museum of Rajasthan I've ever seen. Here you can know the history of Maharana Pratap. Here they have provided a short film show showing the history and power of Maharana Pratap and fight against Akbar and Mughals. Here as you seen in Pictures the Light and Sound show is also amazing with actions. I really like the overall museum. I must advice you to go here and learn the history of Maharana Pratap and powerful Rajputs.
