⚜️ Murgh Sia Seekh-This kebab was really tasty. The chicken mince steeped in a marinate of black pepper, mint coriander and was prepared well. The juicy kebabs were charcoal grilled.

⚜️ Murgh Birista Biryani- Love for biryani runs in my blood and as a diehard biryani fan I am very critical about the taste and flavor of biryani. The Biryani was definitely a delight to eat. Medium spiced Chicken cooked in Onion, Tomato, and spices with aromatic basmati rice in sealed earthen pot. They cook and serve their biryani in earthen pots. During the home delivery as well, they gave it in that earthen pot and was packed very nicely. Another great thing about the biryani is that they have various serving sizes (different sized pots) and starts with 1, 2, family (3-4), or even party (approx. 10). They serve their biryani with raita and a quirky garlic sauce.
💰Pocket pinch: - Prices of the items in the Menu are quite reasonable. Pinch for two is ₹350 - ₹650
▶ Overall I would recommend this place to all the people in and around Belapur area who loves to have decent kebab and biryani at reasonable rates. Birista is definitely my go-to place for Biryanis from now on. One should definitely give this place a try. 😍👌
We tried chicken tikka biryani here.The biryani authentic Hyderabad taste well done cooked well done seems fresh n it was juicy also we tried tangdi kabab . They served it with green pudina chutney.kabab was spicy juicy and perfect our choice taste. This is a place in navi Mumbai where u can actually enjoy biryani. In the name of biryani one can eat different kinds of pulav in resturants but this joint actually has improved the bar with their preparation.
They have different servings based on no of people's. Best part is the biryani are cooked in earthen pots with sweet dough covering. The cover taste awesome with their garlic mayo. Their mayo has a distinctive taste which is for sure can tingle ur taste buds.
For desserts u can have caramel custered to complete ur eating experience.
Coming to the ambience, it's a small food joint with a max sitting capacity of 15 people also they don't have a big menu but whatever they serve is mouthwatering.

Murgh Nawabi Biryani - The biryani was cooked on dum and served in an earthen pot which was sealed with a dough for proper mix of the spices. It was one of the most amazing biryani's I had which was full of spices and very flavourful. Also, the basmati rice was fairly cooked, chicken was juicy and tender with the right amount of masala. One pot serves two. 5 stars for this biryani.
Starters:
Murgh Sia Seekh - The grilled seekh was soft and succulent which had flavours of mint and coriander which served 4 pieces.
Surkh Murgh Tikka - The chicken was tender and spicy which served 4-6 pieces.
Murgh Burra - The chicken is cooked full in red spices which is topped with cream and when combined with paratha, its a great combination.
Murgh Angara - Chicken leg pieces grilled, spicy, tasty and served 4 pieces.
Afghani Murgh Tikka - Afghani chicken tikka is anytime good to go for kids as it is not spicy but flavourful and delicious. Kids totally enjoyed this starter.
Deccan Chicken - This dish was good that served 4-6 pieces.
Parathas - The paratha was soft and we ate them with the starters.
Dessert:
Zafrani Phirni - Loved the phirni as it had awesome flavour of zafran topped with dry fruits.
The ambiance was good, service was quite slow and quantity was less for the starters. Price is a little high for such quantity but quality of the food and the biryani made up for everything
Tried out the Chicken Seekh Biryani and opted for meal for 2. Absolutely loved the portion, the flavours. It was so flavourful and spicy that I had tears in my eyes (not a bad thing). Ended the meal with caramel custard, which was simple and nice. Hope they open an outlet in the suburban.
When it comes to desserts all you wanna have is a beautiful caramel custard. And birista in belapur serves you some authentic biryani and kebabs along with these delicious custards. Highly recommend place if you are somewhere near belapur.
Visited with very high hopes for the biryani but i didn't find it an extraordinary. The portions were on the lower side but the kebabs tasted amazing. 😋

A small cozy outlet with good ambience and courteous staff. We had ordered, Chicken Tangdi Kebab and mutton Birista Biryani. Both tasted so damn yummmmyyyyyyy 😋. But Biryani was super duper amazing ♥️. A must try guys. We wanted to try mutton chaanp but unfortunately they didn't have it at that time. I am definitely going to visit them again to try their mutton chaanp.

AMBIENCE - the place is small yet so well maintained, neat and clean. Sitting arrangements are good not too congested. The dinning tables are wooden as well as chairs. The center of attraction here is the food pictures are framed on the wall. They clay pots are arranged on the wall so beautifully and it's eye catching. The one thing is lacking is hand washing facility the most basic and important thing is lacking.

MAIN COURSE - as the place is very famous for biryani we decided to order one murg nawabi biryani (one bone) served for 2. The quantitie was sufficient for 2.
Made with whole spies. It is served in clay pot with the covering of toffun. Along with raita and garlic sauce.
The taste of the food was so amazing and delicious. One of the best biryani i have ever had. Enjoyed the dinner with real nawabi taste.
STAFF SERVICE - the service was good. Staff was friendly. Waiting time was appropriate. The charges are affordable. Cleanliness is well maintained.
DRAW BACK - i would specially like to mention this point that they serve you Bislarry water and they do charge for it. They don't serve you regular water the most important and basic thing is lacking here. I have never seen that before in any restaurant it's client choice to take Bislarry water or regular water. In my opinion they should also provide regular water witch is the most important, basic thing and priceless.
EXPERIENCE - over all experience was good. All the biryani loves out there one should must visit a place because it's one of the best place for biryani with affordable price.

This is one of the best place to have biryani. The murg tikka biryani is absolutely amazing. It is a must try for everyone. For the vegetarian ones, the aatshi aalo is great. Have it with paratha.
I was wondering about the taste of Biryani from Birista. So I ordered Veg Birista Biryani which turned out to be perfect. It was served hot and in a traditional clay pot. It was a good packing and presentation. Taste wise it was awesome. Fresh veggies cooked in a gravy and fragrant Basmati rice. Totally worth it.

Simply amazing, really a gem of a place. Neat, clean and delicious food. Felt like having biryani for dinner, Zomato came to the rescue as usual. Was a bit skeptical given the size of the place, having crossed it umpteen number of times going to other outlets. Anyways, went in ordered the least spicy chicken dum biryani with bone on the recommendation of the server. What caught my eye was the neatness of the place and the way in which the various tikkas, kebabs etc are displayed. Mouthwatering to say the least. Had to wait a bit as expected. Biryani was delicious, the server also serves the dough cover on top of the handi along with the biryani. It goes beautifully with the chicken. Everything is just right, be it the rice, well cooked fresh and spiced chicken and great service. Of course they could do with more seating space, however, I believe a lot of people order take aways, so that's fine. Best place to have biryani in the area, will surely make many more visits happily

Belapur is one emerging place on food scene and Birista is a surprise find. Its predominantly a biryani place.
Murgi Birista biryani is what I had, the dough coating is to be eaten with mayo(loved it), coming to the biryani, it was good, q bit different but good.
While you there, you must try their murg burrah with paratha, it's awesome.
Tried their caramel custard and rabdi, while the custard is good, their rabdi was awesome.

Excellent biriyani. Tried Afgan paneer biriyani and boneless chicken biriyani. Very well balanced flavour. Not overly spicy or greasy. I loved their portion concept where in u can order the same dish as per the number of eating members. The ambiance is relaxed and very open and the waiting staff is great. The menu is slightly limited and my suggestion is to include some drinks.

Birista has amazing non veg starters; my fav is always Murug Anghara. I have never visited the place in person and mine was always “home delivery “. The delivery is prompt and they have amazing North Indian food . The chicken Biriyani served in a pot is not only yummy but also has a large portion.

Birista is one of the restaurant which serves fresh and delicious biryanis as well as kebabs. The area is small but it is worth visiting. Rates here are reasonable and for three of us, we had to order 2 starters and 2 double biryanis.
We ordered these following non veg dishes :-
STARTERS :
1. Murgh Burrah (the one with white sauce) - This dish had 6 pieces of nice tender chicken with tasty creamy sauce.
2. Deccan chicken - This dish too had 6 pieces and the chicken was bit spicy and the green chutney goes perfect with the Deccan chicken.
MAIN COURSE : The interesting part is that they serve the roti which is on the pot of the biryani with bit sweet, creamy Mayo.
1. Murgh tikka biryani - We ordered this biryani for two and it was excellent. I loved it, as it was spicy and flavourful and will definitely please and satisfy the biryani lover in you .
2. Murgh Nawabi biryani - We ordered this Briyani for two. It was delicious and had a good mix and balance of spices. I found murgh tikka biryani more tasty than nawabi biryani. But overall it was absolutely yummy.

They Serve Briyani in Clay Pot(Matka) and Maid Flour covering Outer part which Keep Briyani Hot for Long time. They have Various Range to serve briyani one person, two person and Family (3-4person).
If you have good appetite family Briyani quantity not sufficent for 4 person.They serve a yummy raita and cream cheese sauce along with onions with biryani, which just adds altogether a different flavour to your biryani.

The most delicious biryani in Mumbai. Tried a variety of kebabs, Murg Pasanda was by far the best. The rest are quite average. They only serve parathas with the kebabs which is crunchy and super tasty. The portions are great too. Staff is cheerful and friendly.

Yesterday I visited Barista biriyani with my friends for lunch, it was great experience, excellent kebabs and authentic, aromatic biriyani, they limited dishes limited seats but excellent taste and very good staff all recommendations were absolutely my taste buds , I definitely come back with family again...thank you Barista for such a great food...

I had ordered veg biryani. It gave me the feeling of authenticity. The rice was soft, sweet and moist. Every spice in the gravy expressed its flavour. It was overall a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend it.
My cousin and I planned for dinner and we opted some options and finally we decided to eat Biryani and that too to try out at a new place so we went for Birista Belapur.
It was small outlet with just 2 small and 2 big tables. Interior was quite good used pots on wall, lights also good.
Their menu doesn't have much of varieties yet but what they have is grt and best.
We ordered murgh angara for statar it was Soo juicy fresh well marinated, Spices are balanced well. And name suggest angara it so spicy and drooling. They served it hot as they just removed it from tandoor.
For main course we ordered Murgh nawabi biryani. As it was suggested by one of their waiters. So we ordered.

Starters: (The quantity is quite less, so 1 has to order atleast 2 portions if you want to enjoy, than just taste)
Veg Seekh Kebab - 4/5

Basically reshmi malai tikka doused with garlic mayo dip. Not bad but nothing great, again the quantity is poor with more dip & less kebab.

Since we had a motley bunch of vegetarians, non vegetarians & eggetarians, we ordered the following biryani's -
Egg Biryani - 3/5 (Single Portion)
Average in taste with hardly any egg, 1 can avoid and go for a vegetarian biryani. Single portion was just about enough for a person.
Afghani Paneer Tikka Biryani - 3/5 (Family Portion)
Again, this one was average in taste and paneer tikka being absent to a very large extent save a few small pieces sparsely scattered. This looked & tasted more like a regular vegetarian biryani.
Afghani Chicken Tikka Biryani - 3.5/5 (Family Portion)
Usually afghani chicken preparations are mildly spiced with not much of a chili hit, this turned out quite the opposite, as it was spicy and full of chili. Portion wise this was decent for 3 good eaters but again the rice to chicken ratio was poor with the chicken pieces being much less than the rice. We also found regular chicken tikka pieces in the otherwise yellow coloured 'afghani' chicken tikka pieces, which says that this biryani was rehashed with other tikkas which confimred my suspicion that this wasn't an 'afghani' preparation in the truest sense.
Overall, for the price paid and keeping the portions in mind, I felt it was not a good value proposition. Yes, the quality is quite good, the presentation of the biryani's in earthen pots sealed with dough and tandoored is nice, along with the quality of packaging used is good, still I would say that they need to work on portions and certain aspects of the items that we tried out today as described above. I would say it is good for trying out once only.
Best place for kebabs and biryanis. The parathas are to die for. Ask for their garlic mayo. Consistently good which is not possible for a lot of places these days.
I made an online delivery order from Birista - Biryanis and Kebabs. I had ordered the Gosht Nawabi Biryani. The delivery took about thirty to forty minutes to get delivered. The packaging for the order comes in a white paper bag. The biryani comes in a clay pot and the top of the clay pot is sealed with dough that has been sprinkled with spices such as jeera and other condiments. Once the dough covering of the clay pot has been peeled off; the aroma of the biryani fills the air around the room!
The biryani looks delicious, with balanced colours of yellow coloured rice on top, plain rice in the middle over a bed of gosht in the bottom. The biryani tasted great; although it is a bit spicy. The rice grains are well separated, but cooked just right. The meat is soft and tender and the spices are well absorbed making the meat delicious.
The biryani comes with raita containing chopped vegetables mixed with sour curd and a garlic spread, which makes the biryani even more awesome!
Very nearby food joint from my office. Mostly we treat ourselves with the Pot biryani from Birista. Tried Murgh Nawabi, Afgani and Birista special briyani. Personally I loved the aroma, I find the taste is absolutely great with perfect blend of ingredients with tender and juicy chicken pieces. Thumbs up for their Phirni also. Amazing biryanis. You can understand when the food is made with love. That presentation for a home delivery is rare. It comes from a restaurant that really cares about their customers. Definitely recommend this place !
This is a small outlet which serves amazing biryani. I had their signature birist mutton biryani and it was delicious. I really liked that we could eat the dough covering the dum biryani pot. They serve a garlic flavoured mayo which goes really well with the dough covering the pot which in itself has sweetish taste.

Biryani was delicious!!! However, If there would have been some more pieces of that tasty chicken instead of just 1, it would have been even better.

Birista has always been a favorite.Their biryanis are full of flavour with succulent meat.The Murgh Birista biryani has the right amount of spices, rice and chicken. The Bajari kebab was flavorful with classic herbs and tasted amazing with the mayo sauce provided.❤
Amazing food!! The Burrah kebabb was yumny and tasty. Even the Afghani biryani was so flavoursome. The shahi tukda was yummy. Good job!! We were totally happy to eat here.
Authentic dum biryani served and delivered. Hole in the wall outlet. They also serve tandoori items. All Biryaanis are served in earthen pots which is their USP. Must try for Biryaani.
The food is absolutely amazing, the flavours of the biryani come through seamlessly. Some might find it slightly expensive and hence the 4 stars but otherwise the service is excellent.
Having lived in Delhi, Lucknow and various places in North India and being a foodie, it is quite unfortunate for Mumbai restaurants, which doesn't know the right taste of North Indian Food.
Then, there comes Birista, an absolute surprise to your foodie life. Very few of the restaurants like Birista know how to actually make North Indian dishes. An absolute delight to my taste buds..Good Job Birista..I am enjoying each and every meal of yours, every dish is a surprise. Good people, good food. Open more outlets so people can know what actually North Indian food tastes like.

The place is small and simple, but very comfy. I liked the ambience and the lighting. The staff was very polite and patient. We came here for a family dinner as a birthday treat and it was great.

The starters are all fantastic! I would recommend to visit and take a stab at just the starters for an entire meal.
The biryani is good too. My kids aren't too crazy about spice, so the Birista Biryani worked well for all, as it wasn't spicy.
Capacity and Ambience!
If you want to visit with a family of four, or a few friends, it works. There are a couple of tables for 2 and 2 tables for 4. Wooden seats could be cushioned slightly, but I was fine with it. Since we arrived there in the evening, the lighting was nice, which kinda added to the ambience.
Starters were too good. But we came for biryani and chicken was not marinated well enough to reach flavours inside. Basically tasty rice with boiled chicken. Dessert was not fresh.
It's awesome place for dinner. Small but nice ambience. Food was great perfect taste spices cooked well. Not much options but which they have it is best. We had kebabs and Lucknow Biryani it was best. Yumm

Food here is highly tasty and underrated and I’m definitely coming back for more
We had Bihari boti and Shish Taouk for starters both of which were completely different in taste
Main course was paratha and chicken chatpata followed by chicken Biryani
Icing on the cake was the Phirni which is a must have
Only drawback is that space is small for large groups
Also portion size is slightly more than usual hence please check with waiter before ordering as we had to take parcel in the end 😂
Best place to eat Biryani in Navi Mumbai. It's a small food joint in Belapur . The place is small with 6 tables . The place is limited but Authentic mon Vegetarian starter . The place doesn't have a washroom. You have to park your vehicle on the roadside. A food Paradise for non vegetarian food lovers. Authentic Biryani. A Paradise for Biryani , Tikka ,Kebab . A Non veg place with amazing Phirni , Rabdi. Service is fast and the staff and owner are really helpful. Vegetarian options are limited.
The food price was reasonable relative to the amount of food served. Preparation of the food did not take much time either.
Amazing mouth-watering biryanis and barbecues. Less masala, less oil and superb taste. If you are a food lover, you should definitely try once and im sure you will relish it
Delicious and authentic taste, the tandoori' s are a must try, along with Dum Biryani. Eggless custard is a bliss in Dessert.
The food here, it is just amazing. I travelled 35 kms to just come and try out their amazing biryanis and kebab.
They serve a yummy raita and cream cheese sauce along with onions with biryani, which just adds altogether a different flavour to your biryani.
I tried their stuffed mushrooms kebab, I have never had better mushroom dish before and the Birista biryani, which was rich with flavour and a vegetable gravy.
The quantity they give is very good.
Only drawback, the place is little small with seating to accommodate only about 20 people at a time, but the food makes up for this drawback.
I would definitely recommend this place. And also request the Birista team, to open more outlets across Mumbai so that everyone can enjoy this amazing spread.
Decent biryani, compact place, kebabs are super awesone, its a value for money and tastebuds satisfaction packeged in one.
Awesome biryani. Tried the vegetarian one and it is very delicious. A lot better than the one served in Shalimar (Vashi) and Biryani Guru (CBD).
Nice and quiet place to enjoy your food. Here biriyanies are made in closed mud pots and served hot. They offer both medium spicy and spicy food.The taste and texture was good. we ate our favourite caramel custard after biriyani that touched our soul.
