Well last week I visited this awesome restaurant at Nerul named Famous dum biryani and Kebab corner. Its a small place but the biryani here is supertasty.
They have variety of Indian and Chinese dishes. We ordered their famous Chicken dum biryani and guys it was scrumptious.
The chicken was perfectly cooked with rich flavours. Indeed it is one of the best restaurants to have biryani at Nerul if you are also die hard biryani lover like me.
Overall I would say do try this place as it is highly recommended as the biryani served here is worth a try❤️
Very famous joint in nerul especially famous for Dum Biryani which i find very masala heavy and oily. Though I would suggest try their delicious kebabs. The yellow and white ones are worth trying.

They have specified in their name itself that they are good in biryani and kebabs. I went there to have the mutton Biryani but there was no mutton available there at that time, maybe they ran out of mutton, I don't know for sure. So I ordered the chicken Biryani. The most cheapest dish in the menu is the chicken Biryani and most people come here to eat the chicken Biryani only. The chicken Biryani I ordered was the half plate but the quantity was quite nice. The masala and the rice properly blended with each other tasted amazing. Sometimes they make it too oily but most of the times it is ok to have there biryani. If you live near Nerul then you must try the Biryani from here. They serve amazing biryanis

A good and reasonable place the ambience might not be best but the quality is good is good and prices are reasonable as well! We ordered for chana masala, veg kolhapuri, chicken dum biriyani and surmai tawa fry!
Amazing place for some tasty north Indian food! Ambiance is not great and may not be the best pick if you are planning for a date or any occasion. BUT if you are craving for some awesome tasty food- this is the place!
They have a special mumtaz kabab on fridays. It was very good. My favorite was bheja fry- One of the best one's I have had ever. Some of my buddies loved the chicken biryani as well. We also tried Kheema and that was good too!

Good place for Mughlai cuisine and famous for biryani.
This place is like a heaven for non vegetarians ...they offer tons of variety . Their Tandoori, Tawa nd chicken gravy dishes are amazing.
Biryani variants are also quite good..The quantity of biryani is good...they can definitely improve on the quality.

Had visited this place with a friend who stays near by this restaurant and recommended to go. We ordered Biryani and it was good being honest won't say best in town but good in taste. Should visit once if you are near by and crave for biryani.
The Mutton Biryani served here is hands down the best in Navi Mumbai. Now what is supposedly the best, can be argued upon. I may have a bit of personal bias here, for I have been a regular at this place for over a decade now.

One of the best places for pocket friendly biryanis and kebabs in Navi Mumbai. Have been visiting this place for a decade now.
They offer lip smacking biryanis and starters at a very reasonable prices. Its worth it.
Authentic moghalai cusine.. this place has been serving a different kind of dum biryani.. very well known in navi mumbai for kebabs n biryanis.. the service is quick n fast.. for xtra spice loving people try out there chicken angara kebab and chicken sholay masala..
Have tried veg dum biryani at a lot of places but nothing beats this. The most famous and the best place for biryani as the name suggest. The bottom is with a lot of vegetables with great spicy flavor and is topped with plain basmati rice. Also very reasonable rates. Chanchal Yadav
This is great place for non-veg Biryani and the 5 star purely goes for that. I used to go here during my college days in 2008 and I recently visited again and the Biryani is still amazing. Yes its a local place so don't expect a fine dine experience.
I eat all over the city of Mumbai on a regular basis and I am yet to come across a place that beats this Biryani.
I read a review giving this place a 1 star and commenting that the Biryani is bad, very surprised!! turns out he is a vegetarian..... Buddy then its pulao and not really Biryani.

The non ac section isn’t that great. Prices are little bit higher than normal. Overall its good. I only visit there when i feel like having chicken khepsa which is worth the price.

Dont know the reason of low ratings for this place used to be a decent joint while i was attending college i was a frequent visitor at this place kebabs and tandoori preparation here are awesome chicken tikka and pahadi are the best also chicken tikka biryani is well prepared and its not too heavy on the pocket dishes are priced economically.
Food : The food served is good in taste as well as the prices of the dishes are reasonable too. One should definitely try chicken dum biryani, butter chicken, chicken crispy here. For dessert you can try caramel custard which is really delicious at a very reasonable price.
Ambiance : Well, they have a outdoor seating arrangement which is full at times. But they'll help you to get a seat for yourself. Not only that but they also have ac room which I guess is available on pre-booking.
Service : The service they provide is decent but very quick.
Have been here thrice.. their chicken dum biriyani is the highlight.. its a mandatory dish if you're coming here.. trust me it will not disappoint you.. great quantity and greatttt taste! I personally loved it..

This outlet has a nice variety of biryani’s and felt like trying it. This is my visit to Mumbai after 2 years.
I tried the chicken boneless biryani + got the chicken biryani with bone packed for my dad.
For a spicy tongue, chicken double masala is the one - deep fried pieces of spicy chicken were included and tasted really fresh n juicy.
Biryanis had quite authentic flavors and were no doubt one of the best in Mumbai which I would have tried so far. They served Raita along and salan which was not that great in taste or probably not as per my pallet.
We tried the caramel custard which was disastrous, couldn’t have more than a bite. It smelled of something weird not sure had it gone off or was it something else. So a big NO for anything else ( apart from biryani ) from the menu.
Service was good, ambience was so-so and prices were nominal.
Can be taken into consideration for a quick stop during your travel to outskirts of NM.
So on my recent office trip to Mumbai - Visited this place for quick lunch. Ambience is just average and seating is simple - However it's kept pretty clean. Service is ok. Food quality is good.
Food per plate is sufficient - Quantity was good for 2 persons.
Ordered for Egg Biryani & Chicken Hot n Sour Soup.
Soup was average however chicken pieces were in good quantity. Use of soya sauce should be reduced.
Egg Biryani - Had 2 n 1/2 eggs in it which was pretty much a lot for 1 person. Biryani had nice flavour of the masalas which I liked.
My overall experience was good - Considering the prices & Food Quality.

This place is located near Nerul station. Which is my stop quite often during travels to Nm. Restaurant has both AC n Non AC section. Starters are pretty good and it’s pocket friendly too. Chicken Tikka and the sauce and salad it comes with is pretty filling. Good Place to visit near the station. Don’t expect much as it isn’t too fancy.
Prawn Pulav Craving ends here if you’re staying near Nerul. I haven’t seen many restaurants serving the same and if they’re my experience hasn’t been that great. Prawn 🍤 Pulav from this place comes with good 7-8 pieces of prawn and a curry which goes real good with biryani. Reasonable place to order sea food from around this area and specially if you’re a sea food lover.
Student life and food ordering after returning late from college is a normal routine - So this place is a everyday thingy for me. I’m a veg person so wouldn’t be able to comment much on how’s the non veg here. Paneer Hot Bean Sizzler and Paneer Hungama Sizzler are my favourite. There’s no good Sizzler joint nearby plus this is pretty reasonable for my pocket. Owner also sends extra Sizzler sauce upon request and wouldn’t charge extra.
Have been ordering food from them since my visit got more frequent to Nerul. Mutton Pulav, Prawn Pulav and Chicken all of these have been tried by me and are pretty decent considering the price range. Quantity - Ok this is something I must highlight - It’s easy for 2 people to have. In terms of meat 🍖 qty plus rice it’s pretty enough for two.
if u want food at cheap cost and an okay quality this is the place for the non veg people. biryanis kebabs tandoors all available at cheap prices and quantity offered is also great.

Murg Mussallum, Chicken Angara, Chicken Jehangir so many tasty dishes. I tasted other restaurants like A. Bhai's fry but if you compare taste then The famous Dum Biryani is way ahead.

This place is near Nerul station, just 5-10min ride.
It is mostly filled with college kids because there is a college nearby. The seating arrangements of this place needs to be improved. There are 3 sections.
Non-AC section is outside with steel tables, little small.
Non-AC section with big tables, 6-8people can fit.
Then there is AC section.
The food here is good, some starters are just delicious. Its a pocket friendly joint, the food is fairly cheap and this place is great to have lunch or dinner with big friends and family. I've been to this place like a dozen times and the food is always good.
Order any chicken starter, it will be worth it. Not a great fan of rice, tough my friends like the biryani.

Best place in Navi Mumbai to have a Mutton Biryani. Don't go by the rating on Zomato of this restaurant. Biryani from Dum biryani corner not only fills your stomach it touches your heart. Not a fine dine option but a very good place if you are opting for home delivery or take away

RESHMI TIKKA:well marinated.charred just right.
MUTTON BIRYANI:SAW IT ON ALL THE TABLES.you got to tell them MASALA KAM.only then will you get a plateful of aromatic rice with perfectly cooked pieces with a SPICY DAHI RAITA(LIKE I SAID YOU GOT TO TELL THEM)
CARAMEL CUSTARD:these kinda places do not go wrong with their custard.

you've been a great restaurant around, without you navi mumbai would have been nothing.
The food is really great here. Just that abit of hygiene is to be taken care of. Otherwise the food and pricing, really good. And even the infrastructure and ambience needs to be taken care of
They serve authentic chicken. And is famous for biryani. I used to visit it alot before but now they started adding coconut and it just ruins its taste. Overall the kababs and tandoori is purrrrfecto.
The biryani here is next to Hyderabad's biryani. I don't think I need to say anything more than that. Although the place isn't that welcoming, the food here would make you come here again and again. I won't say everything here is worth trying but the dum biryani here actually got me to like biryani. Getting a take-away would be the best option as the place is generally crowded.
