I luv their biryani frm so many years. Just ausum but dis time again i had mutton biryani, great scope of improvement for the peices they put. I was not at all satisty but again biryani taste is π

An interesting story to this. Was driving towards home through koparkhairane/ vashi a bit later in the night and felt a hunger pang to specifically have chicken dum biryani and not just a regular chicken biryani. I halted my car to a side, searched for Chicken Dum Biryani on Zomato in vashi area and Star Biryani popped up on top in the search. When I called, the owner said we're just closing down. On requesting that I can collect it quickly from his place, he said, "Searching place would take time... So pls come near Gaondevi Mandir in vashi and I'll send my person with the parcel". The delivery came in 5 mins flat! For the first time in my life, I collected a parcel on road instead of home/office.
Now come to the food part - the Biryani was marvelous! Can easily rate it 4.5/5. Though I felt a bit of colour was sprinkled to it intermittently, it was still very good in taste. Won't say this was the BEST Biryani in Navi Mumbai, as the best one is that of Sai Darbar in Nerul Sec 21. But this one comes in close.

Just the right place to order biryani in vashi Amazing favours of spices which dosent overpower each other ... Have order biryani from here twice and both the time it lived up to expectations.... It's Only a take away or delivery joint so dont expect great abiance

They serve the best biryani in Navi Mumbai. Period. Yes, it's that good. I've tried biryani at various renowned places across Mumbai and none of them match up to the taste and authenticity of the one served by this tiny takeaway joint in Vashi.
If you like your biryani with less gravy and more of spices and flavour, you'll definitely love this! For the ones who love biryani with loads of gravy, try the ones at Chings!
The biryani here is one of the most authentic I've ever tasted. The rice is flavoursome and the chicken/mutton is cooked to perfection. The spices blend in really well. Plus, the raita goes well with the biryani. The entire amalgamation is a treat to your tastebuds!
The best part is the price, at only Rs 120 for a Chicken Biryani, it's absolutely a steal and the quantity is sufficient for a foodie like me! Mutton Biryani is also moderately priced at 140-150. I wish they'd a proper restaurant for dine outs or atleast some publicity associated with it. Also, I find that many people (even in Vashi) have not tasted their biryani which is a cardinal sin!

its a small shop just opposite my school... during my school days never tried this biryani... but recently had a chance of ordering it.. was low on budget Β and was craving for biryani.. ordered it and was really shocked that how can we get such tasty chicken biryani that too with quantity which is more than enuf for single person at just 130 odd bucks in vashi .... cuz here ull rarely get good biraynis at this rate... its anywhere above 150 -200rs .... i have ordered from this place 2-3 times and it has always satisfied my tastebuds...
Great for bulk orders. Had ordered from here almost 3-4 times. Sufficient gravy with biryani rice. I guess the price has increased now compared to other biryani joints.
This is just awesome.. Wow taste of Chicken or Mutton Biryani..! If you are looking for an authentic taste, you must try this..! We used to eat almost on all weekends.. As i changed my job from Vashi to now Andheri, really miss this one.. But whenever possible I'm having it.. ;) Great outlet..
Had ordered chicken and veg biriyani for office for Eid. It was flavoursome and tasty. Rice cooked just right and the chicken nice and juicy. The spices used were perfect. Great place for biriyani takeaways

They are Biryani specialists. It says "Vashi's famous Biryani". I fully agree, and I could call it among the best Dum Biryani in entire Mumbai. The food is inexpensive but tastes big. This is only a take-away restaurant. But sadly their delivery areas are limited outside of Vashi (no home delivery to Sanpada, Nerul). Many a times I have taken the pain to reach their outlet by my own just to take a parcel. Maybe Zomato can help in the last-mile logistics.
Thought I'd give Star Biryani a try because I've heard so much about it. Do note that you want to only order from here, I doubt there's place to sit. Try the mutton dum biryani, it's really good!
A place to order in, I don't think they have a place to sit... Yummy Chicken Biryani, a bit oily but not too much, tender chicken cooked on 'dum'...!!

Greaaaaat biryanis it has!! Absolutely amazing. It's not a restuarant exactly. No place to sit and eat. They only provide takeaway or home deliveries. An absolute delight Star Biryani is.

I mean, yes, it's oily but the flavours and taste. Man, it's amazing.
Their rice is perfectly cooked and their Raita is nice as well.
They're not expensive, reasonable really.
I don't eat much in one go, but if we order from this place.
Trust me, I eat an entire Biriyani by myself & I don't like sharing.
That's how much I love their food. Also their Chicken Lollipop and Crunchies are a must have.
Overall, I think you guys have a fair idea ;)
