Shalimar offers just such amazing taste in biryani..!!! It's just so delicious. And the quantity let me tell you - MAN MAN...!!!! So much quantity that you'll have to just take rest for some time and then move from your place.😂😂

Tawa Kheema Gurda is awesome. We also tried the Bhuna Gosht and Gosht Kichada which was very well cooked. Worth visiting multiple times. Excellent and Authentic taste.
My college was in Navi Mumbai and I would visit this place often back then. So recently when I went there I felt nostalgic and got my all time favorite- Chicken Biryani- and it was amazing! This is a great place to get your falooda craving satisfied.
The staff is polite and can recommend some of the best dishes that they offer. The decor is great and the food is some of the best mughlai food in the area.
The tandoori starters are cooked to perfection and the chicken was juicy and flavoured well.
The fish Koliwada was flaky with a light coating of spiced batter and literally melted in my mouth.
The Lucknowi chicken is not the typical tomato gravy and had a great cardamom flavour through it. The spice level was also great.
The bhuna ghost was so good that one would have midnight cravings for it. The meat just fell apart and the tangy tomato gravy was just pulled me back in.
The biryani here is complex and the chicken was tender.
The faaloda is quite different than other places. The glass has a bottom layer of sugar syrup and the flavoured milk with sabza and vermicelli with nuts and kulfi is poured over it. Be sure to mix it well once you get it.
One could just get the biryani and falooda and be happy but do try the starters too.
The Vashi outlet gets its food from the central bhendi bazar outlet. So there is no compromise on taste there.
Highly recommended.

VISIT DISH: Butter Chicken, Chicken Shalimar special, Reshmi Paratha, Paneer Chilly, Chicken Kebab special, Kadhai Paneer and Butter Naan.
AMBIENCE: This is a fine dine restaurant. The interiors are good and there are two levels of seating available. The place is maintained well and is very hygienic.
SERVICE: The service speed is moderate to slow. The staff is courteous. They know their dishes well.
FOOD EXPERIENCE: The food at this place is excellent. The Butter Chicken, Chicken Shalimar Special and the Reshmi paratha combination was excellent. The Reshmi paratha was soft and tasted really good. The special kebab of chicken was another dish which was cooked excellently. The flavour of the tandoori spices were spot on! It should be a must try dish at this place. The kadhai paneer was good too but I would recommend for the non vegetation section at this place.
Bottom line, the Food at this place is excellent and one must visit this place at least once.

Good Muglai Food in Mumbai .... value for money and good in taste. Nalli Nahari, Raan and Tandoori Chicken are my favourite and good in taste... however Rumali Roti is overpriced as I am from Lucknow it seems overpriced.... will give 4 stars...
Delecius meal. Ordered mutton korma, tandoori paratha and rice for my dinner.
Mutton korma :- Soft pieces of mutton which melts in your mouth however the garam masala flavour was strong, I like garam masala so it was ok for me. Quantity was great for one serving
Butter Tandoori Paratha:- Whole wheat tandoori paratha which was pluffy and buttery. Tasted well with korma.
Rice was basmati and quantity was good for one. Overall great experience.

Shalimar has always been one of my favourites. So let it be cravings or celebration times .. Shalimar has always popped up in my mind.
One of the best restaurant in vashi which serves authentic mughlai cuisine. If you're looking out for typical Muslim style food.. Shalimar is the right place to be.
Starting from the ambience ..they have a quite comfortable seating arrangement.. well illuminated and cozy.
Talking about the food.. they have a vast food menu and quiite impressive one.
So recently I was there to celebrate my dad's birthday along with my whole family and what a night it was 😍.
There were a list of dishes we had but I'm mentioning the ones which I'd like to recommend -

Ambience is good, food is good not the best as compare to Bhendi Bazar's Shalimar.... Little expensive and the quantity is little less........ All in all a good experience. 😉.........last but not least, the service is fast contrary to some folks review.
Dal Gosht was the best dish I have eaten in this restaurant. Their biryani rice and the gravy preparation tastes awesome and is complete value for money. Must visit for all foodies.

Best best best place for authentic mughlai food. Believe me I went here thrice before putting up this review and this restaurant didn't let me down even one single time. The schezwan chicken tandoori is the no doubt the best and my all time favorite. It's a must try dish guys. Bhuna Ghosh and butter chicken are also verrry tasty..The best part here , is the tandoori roti, it's so flaky and crispy that you can't can't can't miss it at all.
As for deserts guys, witout any further thots go ahead with falooda.. I bet you would have never tasted a falooda like this..
Last but not the least to mention is the service. Super duper quick and very friendly and courteous staff. The ambience is also a very authentic mughlai interior.
We tried there Mutton Raan Masala which is just awesome. It will require 4-5 PPL to finish, also taste is just yummy. Also it will take 20-25 for your order.
Also tried Shalimar special falooda which was okay as per it's price.

I had the Dabba Gosht and the Zaffrani Chicken Tikka. Not a single bite disappointed me. The Chicken had multiple cuts, but were cooked accordingly to perfection.

Ambience is spacious and is good for family dinner.
The seating arrangement is nice. staff is friendly.
Coming to food,
we tried
chicken coriander dry - which was green and had a combination of chicken cubes, garlic coriander tossed in their special sauces! It was very flavorsome!
chicken mumtaz kebab - it was unique & consisted of two huge leg pieces stuffed with chicken kheema..authentic flavors and really a must try!
chicken zaffrani kebab - tender chicken kebab pieces..which tasted really nice
we also tried shalimar special chicken chilly gravy with roti..it was a perfect combination and their chicken chilly is different than the usual one. roti was fluffy and went really well with it!
chicken hot bean - it was chicken starter served on sizzler plate. the quantity was huge..and it was really good combination of spices and their inhouse sauces. it is a must try!
we ended up on a sweet note with their signature falooda..i m not a big fan of falooda but this one you must definitely try!
Recently checked out to this wonderful place in Vashi. It has outlets in Marol & Jogeshwari as well. This is the best restaurant if you're looking out for some really good north Indian food!

• Shalimar Paneer Hungama ⭐- sizzling hot, with amazing quantity of paneer cubes, well tossed and soft and yummy!
• Fish Shanghai - soft pieces of fish, in a hot and spicy sauce, loved it
• Tawa preparation: Murg Dilruba - chunks of marinated chicken in a semi thick gravy with lots of spices. Goes well with Butter roti/ naan 💕
• Paneer Tikka Biryani ⭐ - good quantity of paneer cubes, smoked and grilled with spiced and aromatic basmati rice!
• Shahi Gulaab Falooda ⭐- comes with a scoop of malai flavoured icecream and rose flavoured milk with sabja seeds! Try that out

Recently visited this beautiful outlet in Vashi. The ambience is very calm and family friendly. Coming to food, we loved their starters! Do check out their special Paneer Hungama starter. You would definitely love it.
The tawa Murg Dilbara is also worth trying. They serve good veg options like paneer Tikka Biryani. The Faalooda is a must try here. Good place serving amazing North Indian food
One of my friend take me to this restaurant. Heard that it's very oldest hotel retains the traditional taste in food. Today had veg varieties, hope to taste their non veg next time. During weekend it's fully packed lunch time. Good place to spend time relaxly with family. Services needs improvement. Though parking is very limited, you can park your car aside opp to hotel.
Today visited shalimar inn, vashi branch which is popular for its bona fide mughali dishes. Ambience is open and is sweet for family dinner. The seating course of action is decent. staff is friendly.

Wonderful experience. Food was awesome. It could be the best tandoori I have eaten. Murg musallam was a delight for our group and chattered for 6 persons.
