Nice service with authentic dakshin food..but not better than mahim branch..i tried some fish and chicken, which was food-a-licious..nice place for a date..
Service is too slow. We ordered for main course as well as starters. We had the main course and then the starters were served. Need to improve their service and ambience.
The finest Seafood in Navi Mumbai 👌🏻, the food is fresh and the taste is enticing. I love the expansive array offered here. Indulge in the finest cuisine at Goa Portuguesa
This was a good place for carnival dinner as well as some drinks, Customers service was quite good , they served us late night after closing time for this I’m thankful to them and also I would like to suggest that they should provide more variety of drink as the option was little bit less but the overall experience was quite good there ,enjoyed the place and spend a good & quality time with friends 👍
One searching for Goan food, then this is the right place. They have a Goan carnival ambiance, the ambiance is ok. The Goan good is good but their other dishes are average. The staff is good, the service is good. One looking out for Goan food should give visit here.
Goa Portuguesa
We heard about this place a while back and finally got around to ordering a few stir fried dishes and bread and musts say that it is easily the best food in and around CBD Belapur for any restaurant. Also the pricing is very reasonable as well.
Great job guys keep up the good work.
Amazing place for the ppl wanna have multi cuisine Goan Portuguese or Marathi type of food they have different section for both the cuisine which is attractive indoors are good.food is tasty n service is good it’s more of a family place...
Portugese
Prawn soup and surmai tawa fry is must try.the staff recommend the prawns curry with amboli it was really amazing............. best ever I had in Navi Mumbai........ Thanks a lot definitely visit again to try other stuff.........................
Tried this place for the first time...on entry....the first thought was ... that the place may not be that good due to some wierd smell (requesting for a quick-fix on that)...but thought let's give it a try!
To our surprise...we had the best fish till date here....so fresh n tasty...we had ordered tawa pomfret ..surmai in green masala...n friend bombil... never had I tasted such great fish...the spices were just perfect to retain the original taste of fish. n the fish was so fresh...main course included chicken vindaloo ...was just awesome n cooked to perfection!! Value for money !!! Service was good...staff was courteous who gave good suggestions!!
Great job guys!!! Will surely visit again!!!
Crab Soup and Surmai Tawa Fry is a must try. The staff did a mistake by giving Prawns Chettinad instead of Surmai Chettinad, but thank God they did this!
The Seafood is Amazinnnnngggg
One of the best places to enjoy a Goan meal.
Tried stuffed crab as suggested by the staff ... it was brilliant. Melt I mouth crab meat subtly flavoured was an absolute treat.
Fried seafood was another dish ( u can choose the seafood from the options) and we chose prawns was good too.
For mains we had prawn xacuti, seafood Goan curry with amboli ( type of appam or rice pancake) ... thoroughly enjoyed.
The place is little cramped but nicely decorated with a Goan carnival theme. Also the staff, very courteous and service was up to the mark.
On the day we visited they a called in few artists to perform live music ... they performed on request which made the dinner experience further more entertaining and memorable.
Decent ambience, very humble staff, good service, good food but little smelly ambience. If you love Goan food then visit this place. I wanted to taste the lobster but unfortunately it was not available.
What is the name of a dish in picture having whole chicken or Turkey surounded with salads and fruits.
Please reply if any one have aby idea.
Best weekend for me and my family.
Good food good ambience. Prompt service.
Stuffed crab a must try dish. Wish to visit again. Just loved the place.
Well I wanted to visit this place since a long time. But just got the chance to do so. It is very well made up from the outside but inside Ambience is not that great. From inside it looks like a normal restaurant. Me being a vegetarian first thing that irritated me was the fish smell which was like someone has sprayed room freshner of fish flavour. But we got used to it. The soups and starters were good. And for the main course we ordered Goan curry. Which was very nice.
Really liked the vegetable stew!
5/5 for the food. Super yummy and amazing quantity. The seafood items were delicious.
Cool Goan interiors.
A must visit place for scrumptious traditional Goan food! ♥️♥️
Good experience here. Food and service both were good. Liked the ambience and music. Seats were old. Can be replaced. Will get goa feel here.
You can literally experience Goa here. The food quantity is great. Ordered Goan seafood curry with rawas fish in it and paired it with amboli. Fish was cooked well. The curry was medium spicy and tangy. The best part of the meal was bibinca. The dessert could do better presentation wise but the warm bibinca with vanilla ice cream is heavenly. The staff recommended the goan seafood curry and unlike other restaurants they let you enjoy the food than hover over your heads. Will surely visit again.
If you love Goan food then this place is for u
Cocktails-10/10
Service-10/10(Raja & Vipul was very polite and quick)
Food-9/10(stuff crab and fish Goan cury with amboli)
Great Gian ambience with nice song playing in the background, i ordered Goan veg curry with saccha parantu, Wada ( basically puris ) and vodka shots they were bit expensive but it goes with flow.
Best food !!!! Lovely live music !!! The idea n theme is too good!! Loved the fish curry they have here!! Also the garlic and prawn some goan mixture, omg it is !!! Must go place seafoodd lovers!!! Trust me you will love the food n staff here !!!
Lovely food, great mocktails and wonderful ambience❤️
The service would have been a bit better.
Stuffed crabs are out of the world
Do try the masala tini

The crab kalimiri soup is outstanding. Ambience is also cool. Chicken cheese is loved by children. Though it's bar, they have maintained well to avoid bad drinkers.
Worth dining.
Goa in Mumbai! It's here!! Trust me!! If you r Goan food lover you should miss this place at all.
The ambience is such that you'll feel like you r seated in some Goan cottage.. Allen all great place! 😊👍
Its a good place to visit here with friends. The ambience is really catchy.... The music is good too.......food was tasty with authentic taste.....
Excellent food, crab soup is spicy and delicious. Garlic Prawn is fresh and tasty..... Potato dish is spicy and special. Service is good and the food is served hot and fast...
Amazing power lunch i like the ambience and service and music must try this place for unforgettable experience staff is courteous and good 👍👍👍👍👍
Good food and ambience..happy hours was nice. Nice option to try out in belapur area. Tried the birani..suggest to try the goan or Maharashtra dishes as they have authentic taste.
Awesome food. Best for seafood. Loved the ambience. Staffs were very cooperative. Must try this place if you are a seafood lover and goan music lover too.
If you love GOA and Goan food then this place is for you.
Ambience 9/10
Service 10/10 (Swapnil was very polite and quick)
Food 10/10 (Prawns Rava Fry and Goan Yellow Curry)
The authentic goan food served here! One of my favourite place to have Delicious Indian dishesh. A place with good ambience, good service, and delicious food✌🏻.
Best place to spend weekends with family-friends, must try food here. Any crab lover, try stuffed crab meat, you’ll definitely gonna love it.
Goa Portuguesa has a typical goan feel with the music and the ambience. The brightly painted walls in blue and yellow livens up the place.
Service is quick and they gave us good suggestions on what to order as well.
Coming to the food. They serve authentic goan cuisine. Everything we tried was very tasteful. The must haves at this place are :
✔️Crab Kalimiri Soup
✔️Chicken Cheese Lolipops (a twist to chicken wings wid stuffed cheese)
✔️Sacramento (spicy prawn appetizer)
✔️Xacuti (Chicken cooked in coconut based brown gravy) - My personal favorite! Tandoori rotis and Naans are not served here (they have chapatis though). We went wid Wade (which were essentially like puris, but wih a unique flavour).
The mocktails were disappointing. But do order a Sol kadhi. Supposed to be good for digestion and an integral part of the konkan cuisine.
Would definitely be going back to try more things on the menu.
Food was excellent. Specially surmai reshad masala fry and the mutton saoji was yummy... certainly shall visit again...excellent service too. The guys serving were polite and well spoken. Ambience was awesome. Just loved the place
Very good Goan food. Enjoyed their Prawns Sacremento, prawns xec xec, amboli, and the traditional Dodol... Yummy! Very helpful staff. Ambience is very Portuguese! Must visit...
Nice restaurant to try typical Goan food. We went there to try their veg maharashtrian carnival food but ended up trying crab soup. Trust me I have never had better soup than it, it was probably made in coconut milk, not sure though -But it tasted amazing. We tried paneer mushroom saguti with Wade which was good too, special n different type of gravy. The way of gravy or rice is huge (may b Goan curries are to be eat with rice) so select accordingly. We enjoyed our delicious food jn nice ambience, Goan songs playing in the background added so much of life to the dinner, for quiet a long time we felt being in traditional Goa - undirmama aaylo tya khatepinat laplo. Tya majorichya pilaatika khel madiylo, hehe, cheers :D

We were saving this place for a special occasion. So it took us a while to visit this place. This place has a very attractive decor & extremely courteous servers. We decided to start with Caldo Verde Soup, Paneer Karanji & Prawn Rissois. Complimentary cheeselings came first, followed by the soup. A healthy mixture of Potato and Spinach, the soup sparkled as the feast-opener. Paneer Karanji & Prawn Rissois tasted equally good with Solkadi. For main course, we ordered their award-winning dish, ''Tender Coconut Sukke'' with Amboli. It came in a Green Coconut shell, shaved Green Coconut cooked with peanuts and other mild spices. Truly a treat for all your senses. For dessert, our first choice was Bibinca, it was sugary, tasty and light; just like all their other items. Which is why, even after trying so many items, we did not feel loaded. And we had the courage to order one final item, Dodol. It was a dessert made of Ragi-Sugar-Ghee; has a bitter after-taste. But considering, this was made of Ragi; I'd have to say, they made it pretty tasty. The best part about this place is, none of their food were overtly spicy or oily. There is a saying is Bengal, ''anyone can make food tasty with a lot of oil & spice. But to make it tasty, using the minimum of these things, that is the mark of a true master-chef.'' So yes, I will come back for more; for the love of some light-hearted good food.
Turned out to be perfect goan lunch! Had chicken xacoti, solkadhi, cucumber tempered salad and kombdi vade.
I liked cucumber salad with tempering and hint of sugar..had it for first time.nice ambience.goan music, quick n good service.😀
P.s. do try dodol here! It tastes awesome!
Food:
Portuguese Prawn Soup was nice & creamy with small pieces of prawns and garlic. The Prawn Rissois is like a prawn karanjee with cheesy garlic stuffing, delightfully different. The menu does not contain pork but on inquiring they did offer certain pork dishes off menu. We ordered the Goan Pork chilly which was medium spicy with that authentic goan vinegary taste to it. However, it had more pieces of pork fat inside and next to no meat which may not suit everyones palate. The Bombil fry was nice and crispy as it should be.
Didnt have a chance to gorge on the main course as the missus was stuffed, so will have to make a trip back to try theirs mains.
Ambience:
Has a nice goan feel to it with live music and songs on request available.
Service:
Prompt & polite.
Got lost in the food and missed out on clicking snaps in the process. Anahita Bokdawalla
Must visit... u don’t need to visit goa.. taste and feel real spices of goan and konkani food..! Perfect food and service too............ 👍
We ordered prawn mandovi for starters along with Malvani sukha chicken and Kerala parothas for our main course. The food was really nice, the waiters were very attentive and well informed and very prompt with the service.
I love the cheerful interiors with various works of Mario Miranda on the walls and will definitely be back here again!
Ambiance is great. Music is great. Service is ok.
Recommended mostly for seafood. Prawns starters tastes amazing. Chinese is ok. Indian main course is up to the mark. Mocktales can be improvised.
Looking forward to visiting again and trying more sea food.
Must try- chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and caramel custard
Stands true to its name with Goan feel and vibe. Not much options for vegetarians though. For me their best thing is availability of Kings beer 😎. Good place for authentic sea food because there aren't many in Navi Mumbai.
Had a reunion here with my college friends at this place and i had to say this is one of the best place to have goan food simply amazing we had ordered pork vindaloo prawns xec xec curry pork chilli and wade, amboli, and pav worth spending money for such lovely food had an amazing time and yes the food was accompanied by the famous goan kings beer the interior of the restaurant is like a typical goan carnival
Been here couple of weeks back and finally putting the review down as it seems that this venue is considerably underrated on Zomato.
The Ambience is okayish and service is class but what I went here was for Food and it fairly serves the purpose of authentic goan food. Vindaloo, Prawn Curry are a must try here. We've also ordered Bibinca in desert which was mouth melting. Overall experience is 4.5/5 but still I'm giving 5* to justify overall ratings on zomato.
It is a nice place for goan food. Loved Tender coconut cashewnut sukke -the award winning signature dish of the restaurant. It is something different to have. Also loved paneer bali bali the starter and also mix veg and cashew croquette. Sitting in table no 14. The captain Raja and the staff were also cordial with the guests.
I like the staff and his captain raja.the food is awesome
#awesomenessatitsheight.i like it very much
Sitting in table no. 14 liking it very much
Tender coconut sabji is also good
As it is there signature dish.Love the place.Paneer Bali Bali is awesome.
On a cool, breezy monsoon night at 10 pm, a variety of places catch your attention in Belapur. I'd passed by this place several times in the past, and even today we were looking for another restaurant (which turned out to have permanently closed down). But there was something about the restaurant colours that drew us in.
The restaurant itself has a humble, homely air to it. It's brightly lit with lively blues and yellows of the walls. It's a place that offers honest hospitality and promise of good Goan cuisine: nothing less, nothing more.
We had a simple mutton xacuti with bhakri. But the menu has so much more to offer. Simple flavours, good food. :)
It's a place recommended for a happy family dinner.
Amazing ambience awesome food specially the pomfret rava fry & Solkadi live music perfect place to have dinner with family &friends good hospitality will visit again soon
Amazing Goan sea food on offer.prawns rissois and fried fish are a must have here. Prices are a bit high for the quantity they serve but the quality of the food along with excellent ambience makes up for it. Stuffed crab and cream of tomato soup were epic disasters. Prawns curry is pretty good and desserts like caramel custard and bebinca give an excellent finish.
A great experience at Goa Portuguesa for Breakfast and Lunch. The cream of chicken is the best i have ever tasted, every food that i have tasted had a unique taste from all other restaurants.
It is a good family restaurant to have lunch or dinner.
- SeaFood fried Pomfret was delicious.
- Ambiance is good.
- Malai kulfi in dessert is awesome.
Since I am reviewing after while, the place had to be worth it.Good Location, excellent service, spl mention for Chandan for his suggestions nd service gr8 live music by Gaurav nd Rohan........best place for Seafood loverrrsssssss in Navi Mumbai.......
Went here for a lunch with family. The location is superb, in CBD Belapur. The food is above average and can truly fulfil a person's expectations. We had Prawns Soup (Portuguese Style), Crab Kalimiri Soup, Cream of chicken soup all of which had great taste and consistency. Recommended!
For starters we had Pomfret Hirve Fry. All fish and chicken are available in the "Hirve Fry" method, which is a Maharashtrian preparation is delicious. We also ordered deep fried Bombil which was just amazing.
Later we had amboli and Rawas curry (Goan Style) along with Prawns curry. The curry were average while the amboli were a delight! The portions they offer at Goa Portuguesa are pretty big and more than enough for 4 people. The ambience is average. The only downside is that the servers seem to be new and the service is not upto the mark.
A legend among restaurants, whatever said is not enough. Best place for a Goan epicurean experience. I have patronized this brand since 1987, and never disappointed; the first being at Mahim.
Goodddd ambience a bit feel of goa. Captain is helpful and smiling. Gives good food options
Desserts r yummmy. Soups r yummyyy
Veg food is alsooo tastyyy
Well done!

Extremely delicious authentic food! The service and ambience is awesome.. The goan fish curry and andhra style prawns is must try.. Thumbs Up! 😊
Great food. Such good staff. Neat ambience. Chicken Vandaloo was great. Wish we had a Goa Portuguesa in Mumbai yoo 😬😬 Please come here for the best Goan Curry ever 😬😬
Lovely ambience. Great Service. Good food. Once of my favourites in Navi-Mumbai. This is a must visit restaurant. I had been here with my family but would get my friends and colleagues along with me sometime soon.
Excellent choice of dishes especially authentic goan food...services is also good. Kelfull wade was yummy...sol kadi was tasty.
Wade n amboli was awesome
Great place, Good music, lesser crowded, Great location (wide roads, lesser traffic) & great food. Superb place to unwind your tired soul with friends & family. Classy ambience.
Ordered Blue Hawain and crab xec xec.... I realised that "food is a feeling and can only be experienced and not described in words".
Nice casual ambience, good music, friendly staff.
Brilliant! Just Brilliant!! First visit here and certainly coming back.
Raul Raghav This place is well organised and maintained too. The service is too upto the mark. Nice place to hangout either with friends or family. Bibinca was amazing.
I love pork curry and pork chops. Hence I am biased to this place. I am so glad they serve pork here. Has ordered vindaloo and pork roast. Very spicy and tasty-the way the dishes should be. The veg biryani was equally good. The pork roast however didn't have any fat so will probably ask for same when I order next time. Have never dined there but there are plans to visit the place. Polite customer service. In fact they had sent across a pudding on our anniversary when we had ordered our dinner, and it was our first order from the restaurant. The pudding was so damn nice. This is how you make customers happy.
Prices are high but I have no qualms on paying for delicious food.
Am desperately waiting to taste their pork chilly 😍
- Chill out place with ambience & wall paintings giving u a feel of goa
- Authentic Goan cusine
-Parking may be an issue, they do have valet service
- Very nice and attentive staff
- Sea food, crab kalimiri soup, amboli, bibinca , chicken pepper fry, sol kadhi and wada shuldnot be missed!!
-Nice place for family dinner and get togethers.
-Prices are slightly on the higher side.
A good ambiance with a friendly staff adds to the amazing food they serve. We ordered stuffed crab and Sacramento (prawn)as starters. Both the starters were delicious. For mains we ordered crab xec xec with solkadhi and bhakri which was recommended by the staff. The crab was juicy and the curry was too good. Excellent recommendations for food by Mr.Raja a very friendly staff member . A must try place.
Authentic Goan and Maharashtrian food! Highly impressed with the ambience! The playlist is mesmerising and the bar is fab! Please try to include some steamed stuff in the menu!!
Good food. Excellent service. Nice live music played on the Valentine's Day. Was with family. even the veg food was loved by my strictly vegetarian wife. But limited menu for vegetarian.
Best sea food ever ate......prawns goan kari,
Surmai and rawas green was too good.....
Had veg also and found good ..... tried veg also
It was really tasty than usual veg sabjis.
Very hygenic just loved it.
Authentic Goan food..
Loved fish & chicken dishes..
Bibinca, famous dessert of Goa.
Nicely prepared & served hot..
Goan music, wall paintings..
A chill out place in Mumbai

Very nice food and ambience. Loved how their staff recommended what we should eat. The only opportunity I feel is service. While the staff is very courteous, they are equally laid back... I had to call them multiple times for my order and then I had to wait very long for food.
Not a lot to choose from on the menu but the items that are on there are excellent. Took my parents there for Mothers day. We had the prawns pulao which was really nice. Along with that we had the Goan Fish curry (Rawas) and Chicken Vindaloo which were both excellent. The mocktails weren't too bad either.
Delicious food... Great ambience.. Ideal services... Go to the place for foodies..
We had an amazing evening! The food is really good - they have authentic Goan and Maharashtrian food, and so far, we have loved every dish off their menu that we've tried! The cocktails were also great, and very reasonably priced. The service, though, was the best part - we were given really excellent service by everyone. All in all, a wonderful experience.
Prime location having enough ambiance with good services and hospitality the restaurant was catering the guest needs within limited time. Having good selections especially for seafood items the food was tasty.Prawn Resoice, Kalhapuri Sukhe Chicken,Chettinad Mutton and chicken Biriyani were good. But Amboli was not properly cooked.
Good ambience, very friendly, and efficient service. Group of 10, very well handled.
Starters: pepper chicken(aromatic curry leaves and freshly ground pepper), Sacramento prawn-both very good. As a vegetarian, Crispy bhindi was a hit, Sacramento potatoes was low on flavoring.
Rawas, well flavored, small pieces, along with chicken tambda rassa(both very good portion sizes) were will liked. For vegetarians, the tender coconut and cashew curry, was a revelation, along with the valacha bhird ( Maharashtrian speciality), though the flavours were pretty similar. The caramel custard was light and delicate (no eggy taste), whilst the multi-layered Bebinca satiated the sweet tooth craving! All in all, an enjoyable evening.
Great food and good service
Good only for non veg food
I had been there on new years eve and had a good dinner.. it was not that expensive but as I had gone there on a new years eve.. there was a lot of people and i had to wait for 15 mins but all in all it was a good experience.
Good food, Ambience, Friendly staff liked the place, seafood paradise, but slightly expensive, overall a thumbsUp.
