Well it was a special ambience felt like the place was all to me and there wasn't much of people there , many don't know abt This place but it turned out to be an good experience , enjoyed the salad dressing but the flat stirred noodles weren't up to the mark , were sticky and not properly cooked and also lacked the blend of vegetables and the spices ....the staff is welcoming and one can enjoy food peacefully .

A wonderful Asian Kitchen in Navi Mumbai. They serve a wonderfully spicy crab meat soup and Tropicana pork roast. My favourites there. Highly recommended. Wish they could include some Korean dishes

I had been to such a lovely place serving some mouth watering Asian food. I loved the California rolls, Tibetan dim sum, srilankan Sambal, Thai green curry and khao Suey. The highlight of the dinner was the awesome srilankan Sambal and chocolate bao. The ambience of the hotel is very nice. The reason for me to give 3.5 as the service was a bit sloppy. I feel when you charge 10% as service charge you should give a better service

Excellent place. The food was top notch. The service could be a bit better. Servers are not paying proper attention and have to be called repeatedly for serving food. Portions are also decent. While pot rice options make economic sense, ordering separate gravy and rice is expensive. Management should look into that. Also, service charge of 10% should be reduced. Overall, little expensive but good experience. Rated 5 stars.

Located in Sanpada next to Cowboys cafe , Mibonasa
Is a really great place if you are looking for some authentic South East Asian food.
Ambience : I would like to give them 5/5 for the ambience . We went in the afternoon time , still the ambience was great . I wonder how it would be at night with all the wonderful lights and great set up.

Food : We ordered a skewered charcoal chicken for the starters , which was really delicious . It had all the right flavours .
Also we ordered Banana leaf wrapped chicken basil rice with mushrooms , which turned out to be really great .

Service: The staff were very friendly and the service was also very quick .

The food is worth the money and will definitely go back to try some of the other items in the menu .

Mibonasa, a South East Asian restaurant nestled along a quiet lane near Palm Beach Road. The entrance is quite cute, a small bench is placed outside and its got little red door for entrance. You have to climb up a flight of stairs and you enter the dining area; since had been here for lunch it was quite bright with spacious seating and walls depicting far eastern scenes, with soft Oriental touch.

Mibonasa offers an extensive selection of Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Burmese and Sri Lankan dishes. We started our meal with Spicy Crabmeat Soup my personal favourite which is a combination of generous portions of crabmeat and egg and the chillies and coriander that had our tongues tingling.
We proceeded to sample the dim sum options on the menu...and had the Tibetan Chicken Dumpling that brought out a beautiful balance of flavours.

Pleasantly stuffed, we moved on to a traditional Burmese dish Khao Suey. It is mainly noodles tossed in coconut milk with chicken and accompanied by an elaborate garnish of fried onions, garlic, chopped peanuts, spring onions and a slice of lemon. This one-dish meal is sure to strike every single of your taste buds with its vibrant flavour!

ambience is not bad. what I did like though is seating is spread out so you dont feel claustrophobic. for starters we had Char Siu Bao(excellent), crispy honey lamb(good). For mains we ordered Jie Jie roast pork(lip smacking), Massaman Lamb curry (excellent) Hokkien Mei(delicious) No desserts as we were stuffed. Portions are good and overall a great dining experience. Will definitely visit again

Well I have been to this place thrice and my review is a summary of all the visits put together.
The first thing is the place is usually empty thanks to the overpricing. So there is no need to worry about the queue. The place has nice interiors. Well done up and dimly lit perfect for a casual dinner.
The staff is courteous and friendly.
We had the vegetable dimsums and lemon coriander soup. The soup had great flavours but the dimsum covering was thick and lacked the punch. The filling however was generous and tasty.
For mains we ordered the veg hakka noodles, srilankan sambal, green Thai curry and egg fried rice. The samba and Thai curry were great in flavours and taste. However the noodles and fried rice had extra salt.
On informing the staff we were given a fresh serving of the rice. But once again the rice had too much salt. This dampened all our spirits and we weren't in a mood to have anything more.
On previous visits we tried their lemongrass cheesecake and chocolate bao. They were fine. The desserts can be given a miss.
While on our first visit the food was excellent the second one was terrible.
So this restaurant has to really work on their consistency.

The best Sushi place in Navi Mumbai. Although that may not sound like big deal considering the limited 3-4 options here, but this place genuinely serves better Sushi.

What we had-
NV Sushi Platter
Loved it. Would ask them to skip the Mackerel Nigiri the next time though as it was a bit too strong on the raw fish smell. They aren't too stingy in the serving sizes.

Java chicken
Worth a try.

Lemon-mint Ice tea
Average. Try peach maybe.

Would be back here soon for sure. Better than spending an hour to drive to Bandra for the usual Sushi joint.

This is the place for you if you are a vegetarian and still a sushi fan. Dont get me wrong. Yes sushi is known as a fish delicacy but boy! Those veg california rolls are to die for!!! I visit this place for the authentic oriental feel and the tangy feeling left on my taste buds after them myriad of dips offeres here. Do visit and check out for yourself, the variety of dishes they offer will always leave you wanting for more.

One of the good places that serves authentic Chinese cuisine. Really like the ambiance, has the feeling of a typical Chinese restaurant with an elegant touch of fine dine. I would recommend this place for the sushis and dumplings, all of them taste really good. Boy oh boy, the freak shakes are freaking heavy. We'd actually gone there to try out the freak shakes, but ended up eating a plate of sushi and dumplings, since the bar was busy and the freak shakes were taking time to come. The service is also good enough. And the price range is also moderate. I would definitely suggest this place for authentic Chinese food lovers, for those of who want to try something other than the mainstream Mainland China and Golden Wok.

This relatively new well done restaurant deserves all the recommendations possible if you're looking for the best South East Asian food. While some may not be familiar with certain types of cuisines offered by them, I could go to the extent of assuring new found love for them once you've dined here. The staff is extremely friendly and there's a good chance that the owner will come and interact with you too. I woukd most definitely recommend Thai Sesame Prawns (easily one of the best prawn preparations I've had, I'm already craving it again). Apart from that I had the Assorted Vegetable Tempur (tempur is something like a Japanese equivalent of pakora, its a must if you like fried food) The nonveg Singapore Laksa tasted better than one of the best ones I've had in Singapore itself. Towards the end of your meal they serve you Jasmine tea in the tiny cups kept on their Lazy Susan tables. I forgot to mention how much I loved the Kimchi served before my meal. Not to mention, I'll definitely recommend it to just about anyone :)

Being a student in Navi Mumbai, you are constantly out there trying various restaurants . So I read about Mibonasa on zomato and had it bookmarked for the day I have sushi cravings. This place didn't disappoint at all. The staff is really friendly and they help you decide what to order . The ambience is great , the entire restaurant smells like lemongrass .
So coming to our order, we had ordered chilli bean cottage cheese and prawn tempura sushi as appetizers . Both of them were amazing, the sushi was perfect and the portion size was great .
For main course, Seoul chicken and cottage cheese gravy went very well with the noodles. And finally for dessert , the sizzling brownie was amazing. It was one of the best Brownies' I've ever had ! Also they observe complimentary jasmine tea and green tea, which weren't that great. Overall its a great place in this neighborhood to out with your family or colleagues for lunch. Definitely gonna visit it again .

I wanted to give two separate parties in Mumbai for my daughter's 1st birthday , one for my office pals and another for my college friends. We had already hosted a lavish party at our home town so I wanted this to be simple yet special. I called up Mibonasa to inquire about their buffet and they told me that buffet was only available on weekends. I requested the lady to accommodate something for the weekend and she asked me to visit the restaurant in the evening. Myself and my wife visited in the evening and were immediately impressed by the ambiance. We met the Manager Mr.Pankaj who was extremely cordial and helpful and gave us quite a few options for buffet over the weekend with good rates. After considering the menu options we ordered for the weekend. While leaving I asked Pankaj to take care that the food was good and he assured me that as they do not sell liquor their USP was the food. Initially we had thought that we will host the two different lunches at two separate restaurants but after hosting the Saturday lunch we immediately booked for Sunday again @ Mibonasa.

True to his words, our experience with Mibonasa was terrific. It was a hit both the days with my different set of guests. The vegetarian as well as the non vegetarian guests left licking their lips swearing to come back again. Some of the star items in the menu were - Apple Juice Mock-tail and Mango Tarts in the desserts (this is a personal recommendation). In the main salads please try the cabbage khimchi and the grilled chicken salad. For veg starters try the salt and pepper baby corn, mushroom and broccoli and the Sichzwan Potato.

For non veg starter the satay chicken and the thread chicken, Thai chili chicken is awesome. For the main course try the Cottage cheese in in hot sesame sauce semi dry and vegetable Burmese curry. Another personal favorite is the prawns Malaysian curry and finger chicken. The rice and noodles are just OK.

The satisfaction of hosting a good lunch is enormous and I am grateful to Mibonasa every time my friends recollect the awesome food and hospitality they had. It give me more pleasure when I see them checking in @FB with family at Mibonasa often.

The food was nice . We started with some lemon pepper clear soup & manchow soup. Lemon soup was okay the vegetables tasted very bland(could tasted even better with some salt). Manchow soup was good, tasted to perfection. Next we ordered crispy sushi roll- had fried asparagus & avocado (there was hardly any) but it was tasty. I wanted to visit Mibonasa only to fulfill my craving for Sushi & this place didn't disappoint me for that. We also ordered some chicken Tibetan dumplings which were very tasty & the 3 types of sauces they served with dumplings are mouthwatering. In main course we ordered some sticky rice (which was very sticky) burnt garlic noodles that tasted average & seoul gravy which was tasty. I would say overall the experience was good. Would want to revisit only for sushi.

Must try- Dumplings & Sushi

This place is a novel and welcome addition to Navi Mumbai, which is otherwise too conservative with regard to options for dining out. There is enough South East Asian delights to try out. And I as an uninitiated visitor was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable cuisine from that neck of the woods can be. The service too was excellent. And the ambience couldn't have been better.

Went here on a Wednesday night and boy, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. Advantage being, full focus and service of the staff towards us.
We were welcomed with unlimited Kimchi Salad and Jasmine tea.
What we ordered : Honey Crispy Lamb, Cantonese Chicken Dim Sums, Khao Suey.

HONEY CRISPY LAMB : Though we did get the taste of the honey and it was crispy too but we felt that this combination just does not suit lamb and they should stick to chicken. (3/5)

CANTONESE CHICKEN DIM SUM : Yummy! After having one (containing 6 dim sums) we ordered another cause it tasted that good! The 3 types of sauces that they serve it with adds to the flavor of the entire dish. (5/5)

KHAO SUEY : I am a fan of Khao Suey from the time I had it first in Delhi but I was a bit sceptic whether the one served here would taste as good. But this was fantastic! They served it right with the variety of accompaniments spread across the table. (5/5)

Overall our experience here was really nice. They do complete justice to the Pan Asian Cuisine. Good food, pretty decor, pleasant staff and did I say good food?

I had always wanted to try a more authentic kind of Asian cuisine for quite a while, this little restaurant in Navi Mumbai provides just that. It is right on palm beach road so it is very easy to find this place. The staff is prompt and courteous and the ambience is pretty good. I particularly liked the music they played it was a relief to hear something different than the jarring music most restaurants play these days.

I started off my dinner with a PEACH TEMPTATION mocktail which was just fine, nothing bad about it but nothing great either.

Next came the SPICY CRABMEAT SOUP, the broth the crab meat were really good.

For appetizers we had CANTONESE CHICKEN DUMPLINGS, MUSHROOM DIM SUM, BANANA LEAF WRAPPED WHITE FISH and CALIFORNIA ROLL SUSHI. The dumplings were amazing the filling was good and it was wrapped beautifully paper thin. The white fish is something i believe is a must have, the fish is steamed im a banana leaf the meat is so tender that it falls apart easily and it tastes amazing. The sushi was the only dish I did not like in the whole meal but that's maily because I don't have a palette for it.

For maincourse we ordered SEOUL CHICKEN with VEG HAKKA NOODLES and VEG PAZOON HIN. The
seould chicken was pretty much standard kind of chinese chicken dish but the noodles was really well cooked. The pazoon hin was also pretty good , I really liked the sauce they had mixed in, it was different.

I will most definitely be going back to the place to try rest of the stuff in their menu.

I have been to this place twice and I can't wait to go again. It's a beautiful place with a great staff. The food is so good, I could cry! I always overeat at this place. I never fail to order their Cantonese herb chicken dimsums. They also make their drinks look so good. One of the good things about them is that they briefly explain their dishes or sauces when they serve you. So I know exactly which sauce I'm eating. That to me, is very thoughtful. Visit this place to have an undoubted amazing dining experience.

The experience of Mibonasa is exquisite. The food is lush and the flavours are devine. There are so many dishes to choose from. I tried out alot of different dishes and not one dish was a disappointment. Each dish was well presented and well explained by the staff and full of delicious flavours. To add to my experience the staff were very friendly and always around if you needed anything. Highly recommended place to dine. So we went to Mibonasa based on Zomato reviews and since we wanted to try a new place in Navi Mumbai which served a different cuisine. We were a group of 6 doctors who were very excited to celebrate the submission of our research work. The moment we entered the restaurant, we got such good vibes because of the soothing music playing in the background. We actually felt like we were in a Thai spa. The ambience was perfect and with only another couple in the restaurant, we were glad to have the place all to ourselves. We went for tender coconut and lemon coriander soup. I have tried the Tom Kha version of the tender coconut soup at various other places, but this one was exceptional. The taste of coconut was not overpowering the soup. For appetizers we ordered the steamed vegetable dumplings and the spinach bokchoy with cheese and sesame dumplings. I preferred the steamed vege dumplings. Try them with the sauces served, burnt garlic and chilli tomato. For mains, we went for Panthe Khao Suey, Kim Yam vegetables with burnt garlic fried rice. Personally I loved the Khao Suey. Tasted quite a few types at different places, this one was really delicious and unique. The mocktails are a must to try. We had the spicy guava and on the bed! And for desserts we had the chocolate bao which a sweet chocolate bun rolls to be had with chocolate sauce. The buns alone taste bland. They were yummy with the sauce. The service and hospitality was exceptionally well. Overall a great experience and a scrumptious meal.

There were times when availability of global cuisine in India was scarce and with globalisation hitting the metropolitan cities there was a sudden rush of restaurants claiming to serve authentic global cuisines. It went on to restaurants importing ingredients from around the world to make the food more home country like. Frankly speaking, a massive majority of Indian folks do not have a palette for authentic cuisines (partially including us). Speaking from experience, on none of our trips to the dragon country have we managed to like a joint (vegetarian serving joints are utterly rare) that serve local Chinese cuisine where as majority of the Indian masses claim to like Chinese food even better than Indian. It just goes out to prove that as soon as an Indian twist is added to any cuisine it become more palatable for majority of us.

Mibonasa serving Asian food is adding the necessary Indian twist to make it more appetising for the Indian palette and is doing quite a good job with it. A long pending invite took us to them for a weekday lunch since we were in the vicinity and here is the tale.

Located at Sanpada bang opposite the iconic palm beach road, this place being on the first floor offers a unique view of that stretch of road.
To start with lemon grass soup is to die for, the starters are too good; we tried ginger & pepper chicken. On the other hand the fried rice were disappointing- bland, as good as steamed rice.

This place has got a nice ambiance. Nice decor.

Went here on Saturday afternoon. Place was quite empty initially ,but later it started filling. Service is good,a little slow though

We started with mocktails, On The Bed, Bitter Rest and Desi Aam Panna. All three were good but Aam Panna was my favourite. On The Bed was similar to strawberry shakes.

For starters we ordered Kung Pao Potato wedges ,Fatty Lotus Root and Spiced Chinese Cabbage Rolls. Potato wedges were good, not spicy but it had a nice flavour of red chilly. Fatty Lotus Root was mind blowing, highly recommended. Very Very tasty. Cabbage rolls were little bland but roasted garlic and chilli butter that is served along added taste to it. We also ordered Tender Coconut soup,i didn't like it much but my friends liked it.

We were full by now,so we ordered only one main course. They suggested us to go for Pad Thai Noodles, but none of us liked it, it had a strong pumpkin like taste which made it sweet. Had to take schezwan sauce with it,to make it little spicy.

They serve green tea in between, nice mild green tea. Overall the place is good, nice music, good food.

The rich flavours of Asia are not unknown to the world. With a balance of health and taste, South East Asian cuisine has kept impressing us over the years. We mostly ordered Chef's recommendations for our Sunday lunch. Some dishes pleased us, some didn't.
We started our Sunday lunch with Tender Coconut Soup which was an absolute delight! You MUST try it. There's nothing like that soup! Lemon Pepper soup was good too!
For appetizers we had Skewered chicken. It was tasty, but I was expected more quantity given the price on the menu.
Our main course included chilli garlic noodles, Seoul chicken, banana wrapped steam rice and Malaysian Basa fish.
The chilli garlic noodles was delicious! We had it with Seoul chicken which added to the wonderful spices of the noodles.
The Banana wrapped steam rice failed to impress my taste buds and I'll say the same for Malaysian Basa Fish dish. Those two dishes did not blend well at all. Banana wrapped steam rice was not Basmati rice if you're expecting it to be. I really feel had the staff guided us into the blending of dishes and pointing out important details of the dish, our lunch experience would have been a much better one.
For desserts I had orange darsan which was absolutely beautiful to taste!
The staff is quick, the service is good . The ambience is praise worthy. You can get the fresh lemon grass fragrance when you enter Mibonasa and it pleases you very much.
PS: The menu is not designed well to be held comfortably.
The 4 star rating only goes for the Tender Coconut Soup! Yes it is that good people!

Just went to Mibonasa for the 2nd time. The 1st time I went there I tried their Khao Suey which was absolutely amazing! The quantity was way more than reasonable. Today I tried the Spicy crab soup and the Jie Jie roasted pork. The soup was packed with soo much crap! It was lovely and definitely rich in flavor. The pork was soooo soft and juicy! My friend ordered for the banana leaf sticky rice which to my liking wasnt sticky enough probably bcuz they use basmati rice but what do i know im not a chef! It was seasoned properly either...leaving it a very bland taste. The chocolate bao was really amazing. It came with 3 portions of rice buns filled with chocolate.

Really liked the ambience here, very innovative. The food on the other hand was pretty okay. The vegetarian buffet was pretty average, I didn't really love anything that much, whereas the non veg buffet was pretty yummy. The dessert made up for it, do try their darsan, it's great.

Yesterday visited this place to celebrate my mom's 51st birthday. Located on Palm Beach Road, Sanpada. The ambience was quite good and as it was a weekday there were no much people came for lunch. We opted for Non-Veg Lunch Buffet (₹399 inclusive all). Buffet includes 2 soups (veg and non-veg), 4 starters (2 veg and 2 non-veg), Hakka Noodles, Fried Rice, 2 veg gravies, 2 non-veg gravies, 5 types of desserts. There startes were very tasty and we had never tasted such starters before. Desserts include Black Forest Pastry, Pineapple Pastry, Apple Pie, Coconut Jam Tarte, Orange Fried Noodles with Vanilla Icecream. Overall awesome experience and satisfied tummy.

Do you find it troublesome to find authentic "xyz" cuisine without the "Desi"touch? Yeahh!!! So you probably are in the same boat as I was until I stumbled upon to this amazing place . After fasting for 15 hours (Ramzan) I decided to treat myself and my mother with some authetic  South asian cuisine and not the usual Tikka, tandoor etc.

Location:- Very easily accessible. At Navi-mumbai's own queen's neckline,The Palm Beach road. The entire stretch has restaurants which serve Authentic,Yummy food which saves a few hours of our lives where we travel to town for good food scavenger hunt.

Ambiance :- Not spectacular but have tried to keep the interiors in sync with their concept.Spacious and well lit.Don't expect some crazy palm beach view because there's none.

Food:- The food was delicious.I have never ever been a huge fan of south asian cuisine. For some reason apart from Indo Chinese I felt my appetite died each time I heard of South Asian cuisine. But once the shark tastes blood it just can't resist it;s hunger is exactly what happened with me. We started with Guava Spicy Mocktail which is a must. I remember my childhood days when mom used to sprinkle red chilli powder in the guava and serve. That's exactly what it is.Followed by Tender coconut Soup.....OHHH MAANNN!!! It was DELICIOUS! I can have that soup day in and out,it's just fabulous.Recommended by the man serving us,we tried Sushi which was great but sushi maybe a dicey choice as my mother wasn't very impressed with it as it is cold and not fully cooked fish, I on the other hand enjoyed it. For main course order Sri Lankan Sambal Curry with sticky rice.Apparently Khau suey ,Malaysian Laksa ,Thai curry and Srilankan Sambal are children of the same mother with just variations in spice and a little here and there. It was delicious too. Overall the food was good, flavorful and stayed away from the Indian tadka's as much as possible. We were also served chinese green tea and Khimchi (Salad)  all complimentary.

Prices:- The rates definitely are not very easy on pocket. But it's great for those suave dates or experimental dinner with family or special occasions. (I am ready to pay a million everyday for the render coconut soup)

Service:- People who attended us were very very very good, they knew what to suggest ,very welcoming and courteous.
Loved the service overall.

Advice to management :- Keep up with the good work, hope to see you flourish.

Advice to friends:- Do try it once!! I am sure you will love it :)

Finally found a good sushi place in navi Mumbai. I recommend the spicy salmon roll. The garlic chicken was fantastic too. The fragrant calamari was just a wee bit too sweet (but you can't expect anything else when it come with plum sauce). For main course we had the coconut basedSingaporean laksa which was yummy! Overall good experience and will go again to sample other dishes.

Mibonasa is now my favorite place to eat, besides it being a little far from Vashi, I don't think I have a problem going there and trying their wonderful menu little by little.
I have gone there for dinner with my friends when I had the chance to relish their exotic menu, and once more for their weekday buffet.
While we were there for dinner, we ordered for the Lemon Pepper Coriander Soup : light, flavorful, different and soothing, absolutely loved the combination ; Fatty Lotus Root : our desire to go for something different always lands up in wonderful results, the most delicious appetiser of all, even though I have a hardcore non-vegetarian, I would still appreciate this masterpiece ; Vegetarian Crispy Sushi roll : not very experienced to talk about sushis, but it tasted good ; Chilli Bean Cottage Cheese : oh, how I love you tofu! The flavor of tofu clubbed with the chilli bean flavor is just amazing! ; Nasi Goreng : Didn't like it that much ; Skewered Chicken : Served so beautifully, on the grill, loved it! ; Seoul Chicken with Garlic Burnt Rice : perfect blend of spices, a killer combination!
The buffet is so easy on the pocket and has such an interesting menu in it.
I happened to have their chicken soup, chicken breast salad, kimchi salad which were the perfect start to the lovely lunch we opted for. The appetisers whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian were all worth having!
Crispy Thread Chicken : crispy to perfection,
Chicken Satay : lovely spicy peanut flavors oozing out with every bite,
Crispy Peppercorns : was reluctant initially, when there's so much other than to eat, why would I go for this I thought? Glad I didn't listen to myself and tried it, wonderful snack, I wish I could make it at home,
Sichuan Potatoes : tasty,
Then came the main course :
Fish in Yellow PepperSauce : Bombay duck in yellow pepper sauce, wow! Such a beauty,
Hakka Noodles : decent,
Fried Rice : perfect with the gravies,
Chicken in sesame sauce : new combination, sure to leave a mark.
Desserts come next,
Icecream, assorted pastries, tarts : except for the tarts, I loved the others.
I absolutely love Mibonasa, and it's surely going to be Navi Mumbaikars' favorite too.
All the best, Cheers!

This place is quite easy to find and it's quite large. I went to Mibonasa with a couple of friends for the buffet. Which is just 400 bucks, taxes included. The food was quite nice though some of them could be dropped or replaced. The dessert array was very disappointing as other than the mango cheesecake tart everything else was bad. The ice cream was just bad. The device was excellent and were very interested in our opinions and I really appreciate that. The soup was Luke warm but the manager immediately heated when he was notified. This place is a must visit as where else can you get good food for only 400 bucks? While it missed any Asian potential which one would expect with a name like mibonasa (they didn't have any sushi/Korean dishes) the food was quite appetizing. They offer a free mocktail too, mine was a kiwi lime drink which tasted slightly medicinal, but I had a great time overall.

My friend referred this place to me. After his reference I read about this place on zomato and found the reviews and the menu quiet attractive and went there for lunch.

Usually I like the traditional Indian chinese a lot but was never really fond of the original South East Asian food but Mibonasa completely changed my mind on that.

It is a very reasonable place. I loved the ambience. They had covered the walls with newspapers and made paintings that reflected the South East Asian culture on it. Their service was superb and the food was delicious!

I had a lunch buffet. There were many things that I had never tried. I started with the chicken noodle soup. Usually, in restaurants they serve fried noodles with the soup. Here they literally added noodles in it which was unusual. It was different and nice. I was also served a cosmopolitan moctail as a complementary drink.

Next, I tried the salads. They had chicken salad, vegetable salad , cabage kimchi salad, vegetable stir fry and pickled carrots and cucumbers on the menu. All of them were good but I personally loved the kimchi salad.

In starters they had kung pao potato, corn black pepper , threaded chicken and satay chicken. Both the chicken starters were lovely.

In the main course they had noodles, fried rice, burmese curry, chicken fingers in mustard sauce, cottage cheese and a fish dish. All the curries were new to me and I absolutely loved them. My personal favourite was the fish and the chicken finger curry.

Coming to the best part of meal, the desserts. I was actually too full for it but the menu looked so unavoidable that I couldn't resist. They had chocolate icecream with orange darsaan, red velvet pastry, pineapple pastry and tarts. The red velvet was crazy delicious! I regretted not saving enough space for in my stomach for it.

Overall an exquisite place and I will recommend all the chinese lovers to try this once.

Giving a 5 rating just so that the review comes up. The food was very much below average. Pls never try the burnt garlic rice.. they have carrot and beans in it. We started with Pepper lemon soup which was ok. Followed it up with momos which was just average!! GlobalCulture Panpan restaurant on the Palm beach road serves excellent momos.
The Black beans gravy and burnt garlic rice both were such disappointment.  Definitely not worth another visit and not worth the money they charge.

If you talk about South East Asian cuisine in Navi Mumbai then MIBONASA is the place to be .

Location : Easily approachable with ample parking space

Interior : Simple and bright

Food : well I ate thrice there including one buffet lunch . The buffet lunch is priced at Rs 399 all inclusive . The spread is very good compared to the price . You will have 1 soup , 2 starters ( veg / non veg ) , 1 rice , 1 noodles , 3 non veg main course , 3 veg main course , 2 types of salad , 1 live counter 3 dessert and 1 non- alcoholic beverage .

In a la carte we have tried the following items in our two visits :

1) Curry Basa Dumplings : amazing preparation . You must try it .
2) chicken dumplings
3) skewered chicken
4) Burnt garlic fried rice
5) Chili garlic noodles
6) Korean chicken
5) California roll
6) Khao suey
7) Orange darshan with mango & chili ice cream
8) Ice tea & Foolish melon

The service was amazing and so as the food . Their food quality is at par with Yauatcha & Hakkasan . They know what their food and will serve you the best . Try their recommendations and am sure you will like it .

Variety is the spice of life and if you want to have the variety of  Asian food under one roof, Mibonasa is the place. Highly recommended. On a hot sunny afternoon a smiling waiter greets you with a refreshing minty mocktail, what else you want in life. Now about food, we optioned for buffet and we were lucky to taste Chinese, Burmese, Thai & Japanese at one time. Chili Honey Potatoes too delicious. Burmese Curry yummilicious (not an exaggeration), Som Tom salad cool and crunchy. I am a vegetarian and loved to see such a diversity in veg section.  The non veg food was delicious too as learnt from my friends. I am definitely going again to explore Dim Sim, Shushi and other Asian Curries.

Officially, the best Asian food I've had. Be it Vegetarian/Non-Vegetarian, Mibonasa doesn't disappoint. Been there twice, the first occasion being Valentine's. Tried out their Crunchy Lotus Stem, Spring Roll and Chilli Honey Potatoes for starters. Lotus stem was a big hit and absolutely delectable. The spring rolls were well cooked and didn't have an oily surface like most other restaurants serve and the honey potatoes with the accompaniments in sauces was a delight. However, the main course of Red Thai Curry was what we loved the most. Aromatic and wonderful in taste.

The second instance we ordered a Veg Sushi platter in appetizers, chilli garlic noodles for main course and Orange Datsun for dessert. Needless to say, everything was brilliant.

And hattrick, we also tried out their buffet menu which is exhaustive + one mocktail. Veg/Nonveg, you can eat anything you want.

The food here is exquisite and the service is amazing. Ambience and music are perfect. They do not serve alcohol, which could be a downside to people, but that should not stop you from trying this place. Happens to be my favorite place to eat out now.

Well happened to stumble on this joint on zomato and went to check it out with a friend.
This place seems to offer a really good oriental menu. A personal recommendation is to check out their lunch buffet which is extremely reasonable and diverse variety. The starters offered in the buffet are absolutely delicious whether it be the tempered paneer or the fried chicken. The ambience is also quite good and the staff is very helpful with a good service to look forward to.

Being a weekend day we expected the place to be crowded, but it was not.The interior is average and food spot on.
The calm and delightful ambience gives you the perfect feel of sitting in a south east asian restaurant.
Except for a few tiny flaws , I don't have any complaints regarding the food. The soy pepper chicken and chiken dim sum ( here I would like to highlight the dips ) were absolutely amazing.
Could make a few improvements in menu and interiors.

Mibonasa is such an intriguing name! It means a happy family and this is exactly what the restaurant strives for – after all the route to a man’s (and women and child!) heart is through his stomach! This huge Asian themed restaurant is located off Palm Beach Road and is quite easy to find even for someone who has never ever been to the suburb of Sanpada (Read Me!)

The restaurant itself is pretty huge and has a ground floor entrance with what I believe is a huge Sombrero and a little store selling various kinds of herbal teas. The first floor houses the seating area which has lovely wall art and comfortable chairs and tables for seating.

We were greeted by the Restaurant Manager Mr Pankaj upon arrival and his staff made sure that we were looked after well for the entire afternoon. Our server Mr Taher had impeccable hospitality and warmth and took great care of us – whether it was changing plates between courses so that the taste of the dish wouldn’t be lost or standing at the table waiting to serve while I was busy taking pictures before we ate! A huge thumbs up to that!

We ate the following dishes and drinks:

1) Foolish Melon – A beautiful looking drink with peach syrup, orange and watermelon juice. Very great looking drink and quite yummy

2) Watermelon and Basil Mash: A refreshing, natural watermelon drink served with little pieces of watermelon and crushed watermelon. There was also this really amazing salt on the rim of the glass which had really finely chopped mint leaves and some pepper and just lifted the flavour of the whole drink. It was like eating a watermelon with some chaat masala!

3) Japanese Salad: Nothing exceptional with this salad here, just some good old crunchy veggies and a dressing.

4) Tender Coconut Soup: Thai coconut soup with red chilli and basil. Beyond delicious! Just the right balance of sweet, sour and spicy!

5) Curried White Fish Dumplings: I don’t really like dumplings a lot but these little babies were delicious as hell! The white fish was cut into tiny little pieces and was wonderfully flavoured. The curry in which the dumplings were dipped was thai flavoured and added so much flavour to the entire dish.

6) Spicy Crab Meat in a Sesame Bao: I am obsessed with baos, I just love those pillowy steamed buns that melt in your mouth. I found this bao a tad bit harder than the ones I have tried in other places. Yet the flavours were really intact, the crab was spicily delicious and so well cleaned!

7) Prawn Tempura Maki Roll: A delicious tempura battered prawn wrapped in sushi style. This was served with wasabi and Japanese ginger – Gari and soy sauce. The sushi was brilliant and prolly one of the best I have had.

8) Banana Leaf Wrapped White Fish: This was basa fish wrapped in banana leaf and steamed. The fish in itself had a very very light flavour, predominantly coconut but the sauces served with it were delicious. A spicy garlic sauce, schezwan sauce and a scallion sauce – all three delicious.

9) Sri Lanka Sambal with Sticky Rice: Not a huge fan of coconut milk preparations but this dish was my Hero of the meal. The gravy was so beautifully cooked with humongous prawns which had their distinct flavour. You could taste the coconut milk and the kaffir lime so distinctively which lifted up the taste of the dish. Loved the whole preparation!

10) Coriander Pot Noodles: Noodles served with a delicate flavour of fresh coriander made wholesome with loads of veggies and chicken.

11) Chocolate Bao: These are supposed to be a speciality of the place and rightly so! Imagine soft bread filled with chocolate syrup. And more chocolate syrup to pour on top! This is as good as life can get! Really loved the dessert but hoped for some fruits maybe which could add some body to the dish!

12) Mango Custard Tart: These two dishes were Chef’s special and soon to be added to their menu, which the Chef had made for us specially to try. The tart had been made from fried wonton batter and was crisp. This was then filled with sweet custard and garnished with fruits, in this case mango. Quite nice.

13) Apple Custard Tart: This was the same dessert in an apple variant. Lovely concept but I’m going to be a tad bit biased towards the mango.

We were joined by one of the owners Nayantara towards the end of our meal. Nayantara – our charming hostess made sure we were well looked after by her staff and checked on us multiple times during our meal. One of the warmest hostesses I have had the pleasure to come across.

They have also launched an all you eat buffet for 399 all inclusive which to my mind seems pretty inexpensive and a must try. Mibonasa is a lovely place for some good Asian flavours and is a must visit! Wish the team the best of luck for their venture!

Only the person who loves food can travel far off, to have piece of delightful food, so here I was traveling more than 70 kms reaching MIBONASA on a Sunday afternoon. Let me just tell you that every second of time spent in travelling was worth it.

Below are the Top 5 dishes one must have when at Mibonasa

The top most recommendation would be SUSHI PLATTER: The platter consisted of MASALA CORN SUSHI, ASPARAGUS SUSHI and SUSHI CONE. I couldn't really choose which one is the best of all? as each one of it was just blissful. Masala corn sushi were plain sushi topped with fried corn kernels drizzled with mayonnaise and spicy sauce giving spicy and tangy flavour to the sushi. The second one was asparagus stuffed sushi coated with crumbs of fried tempura, again a good bite. The third one was a form of sushi was seaweed leaf in a form of corn stuffed with rice and vegetables. MIBONASA is in my list of top 3 sushi places in Mumbai.

BALINESE CURRY a delicious serving of vegetables in Coconut milk accompanied with refreshing flavour of lemongrass is a perfect meal.

KUNG PAO POTATOES crisp and flavourful tossed in hot sauce.

CHOCOLATE BAO innovative, steamy boa with molten chocolates is a sheer delight to your tastebuds.

THAI MANGO FANTASY one of the best mango dessert I have tried. The mango pulp with coconut milk and a hint of lemongrass is a sheer delight. LOVELY.

I also liked the in house made soya and other sauces.

I would highly recommend this place.

I am soon visiting the place.

Mibonasa which derives it’s name from the initial sounds of the first names of all the four family members, is a result of a family’s passion to serve south east Asian cuisine in Navi Mumbai. With a wide array of Dimsums, salads, soups, appetizers, sushis, maki rolls, pot meals and some signature south east Asian curries and desserts, this restaurant attempts to bring to you the best of Chinese, Korean, Asian, Thai, Indonesian, Japanese, Burmese and Sri Lankan cuisines.

Navi Mumbai is surely getting its share of some marvellous restaurants serving fantastic food. I checked into Mibonasa for lunch with my mother on a Sunday noon. It's located on a quaint street by the palm beach road. The place is nicely done, the lamps and the wall art complimenting the oriental theme of the restaurant. The menu is interesting to watch since there are a variety of options to choose from and there are dishes that don't belong to the oriental cuisine stereotype in The city. We ordered a mango colada and a spicy guava mock tail and chose to go for the smoked duck dumplings (yeah you read that right, DUCK) for starters. The service was quick and now is where we get to the heart of it all. The food exuberates flavour that encompass your tastebuds into a surreal frenzy, coz hey! All of this wasn't available here earlier and now that it is there, it kicks solid butt. The food is made with care and the only thought you are left with is how can you finish off the entire menu. Soon after we finished with our starter, the main course rolled in. We had called for a mixed meat fried rice along with prawns chaophraya, which is shrimp coated and cooked on a bed of mango salsa. They have a delectable variety of desserts and we chose to go for the orange darsaana which is fried sweet crisps served with orange ice cream which only took the gastronomical experience a notch higher. The quantities are fair and I will only end by saying that I only stopped cause I was filled to the max. Kudos to you Mibonasa. Keep it up. I am surely visiting again.

THE ONES CAUSING HAPPINESS (MUST HAVES)

THE ONES NOT CAUSING HAPPINESS (HAVE NOTS)

EXISTENCE (SUMMARY)

"Food, far more than sex, is the great leveller. Just as every king, prophet, warrior, and saint has a mother, so every Napoleon, every Einstein, every Jesus has to eat." ~ Betty Fussell.

Mibonasa is a tranquil dining experience run by a family who has an unmatchable passion to serve South East Asian cuisine in Navi Mumbai. From the untold flavours of South East Asia and beyond, comes a family styled fine-dine carefully catering the gastronome affair to a set audience from every lifestyles who share the same passion for food.

MATERIALISM (DÉCOR)

Tugged away near Palm Beach Road, Mibonasa greets you with a jovial rosy gate that marks the entrance to the diner. Enter it and be greeted by an appealing miniscule tearoom that unveils an assortment of outlandish and budding teas like green mint, lemon rose, et al. Further, march up the flight of stairs and you will observe a wall that is clad in Chinese newspapers and has black coloured doodling, which exhibits a rural set-up and bang opposite that, you will come across the humongous dining area with walls illustrating Asian décor complemented by attractive chandeliers hanging down from the ceiling.

EGO MASSAGE (SERVICE)

The promptness of the service was at par and the waiters interacted as and when required but still the service team needs more training in terms of food knowledge & hospitality. They maintained proper etiquettes but to reach a level of thorough customer satisfaction, little more efforts are required.

NOSH ‘N’ GROG (FOOD & BEVERAGES)

VIETNAMESE HOT & SOUR SALAD contained soft tattered chicken, glass noodles, bean sprouts tossed with shredded carrots, spicy red chillies, bell pepper dressed with an overdose of vinegar and lime juice that made the salad wee bit more citrusy and difficult to consume. The salad turned out to be a failure and a disappointing dish to begin.

SMOKED DUCK DIM SUM is a style of Chinese-Canton cuisine prepared by filling pot-roasted duck smoked in tea leaves cooked in devil chilli and hoisin sauce. Presented deftly in a cane steamer basket, it had a fine balance of spicy and meaty taste.

NON-VEG. SUSHI PLATTER again turned out to be an awful dish. The collections of different sushi like tuna, salmon, red snapper, etc. had more of sticky rice and barely any traces of meat that made the dish insipid and grimly distasteful.

The BANANA LEAF WRAPPED WHITE FISH was merely a passing affair. Tiny fillets
of fresh white fish gracefully marinated in sweet & sour tamarind pulp spiced with lemongrass, ginger, and chilli and wrapped in greenish banana leaf gave an elusive hint of tanginess, lemony, and somewhat spiciness.

FRAGRANT CRUNCHY CALAMARI is a Mediterranean gastronomic appellation for fried squid energetically stirred in chilli plum sauce and garnished with jalapenos. It is an ambrosial foodstuff having a seamless crispiness on the exterior whereas, the after taste gives a sweet & acerbic flavours.

PAZUN HIN is a traditional Burmese curry infused with ground cloves, fennel, cardamom, & coconut milk. The spices deliver a sharp piquant taste but the use of coconut milk equalises the overall flavours and makes it magically refined.

The SRI LANKAN SAMBAL is actually a stew of Sri Lankan origin made with a mixture of tomatoes and tamarind laced with curry leaves and the obvious ingredient – chilli paste. It had fusion taste of little fieriness combined with essence of sweet & sour.

When a steam bun is filled with wow-ness of dark & grey chocolate you the get the CHOCOLATE BAO. It is a South Asian dessert with a twist and paradise for chocolate enthusiast. The steamed bun when drizzled with the dark chocolate sauce gives you a sugary bitter taste.

SUBJECTIVISM (CONCLUSION)

"Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." ~ Harriet van Horne.

Certain amount of food fare lacked the elements of love and the overall experience missed the ‘X’ factor. However, the standard portion size was just for two people and the quality was equally good. Comparatively, the pricing did not do justice and failed to match the content level. They need to up their game extensively in order to serve excellent South East Asian flavour.

Located in the heart of Navi Mumbai , Mibonasa offers affordable yet contemporary Pan Asian Cuisines. Its extensive menu is created with a selection of light nibbles such as Sushi & Dim Sum to classic dishes drawn from Chinese, Japanese & Thai cuisines, as well as more unique delicacies from mentioned regions.
Mibonasa may be just entering the restaurant biz but certainly it needs no introduction to enthusiasts of pan-Asian cuisine. I love the ambiance, simple and intimate. Long walls and a gorgeous set-up for alfresco dining. There is ample use of wood, simple yet magnificent artwork on the walls, and a splash of color that is pleasing to the eye.
While we scanned the menu, The Owner of Mibonasa joined us and offered us a brief description of the place and it's history. The stewards were very attentive, and took great care and time explaining the various dishes on the menu to us.

On to the food now,

--Refreshments--
Peach temptation - peach syrup, orange juice, apple juice and sprite. It was outstanding! Chilled to perfection, this is just what you need to beat the Mumbai heat.

--Soup--
Lemon pepper soup - lemongrass flavoured clear broth spiced with a hint of pepper and vegetables. All I want to do everyday is cozy up with a big bowl of this soup on the couch and binge watch my favorite shows. The Broth was so packed with flavours that it is still running through my veins and has captivated my soul.

--Salad--
Japanese salad- assorted greens, Japanese cucumber, mushrooms, wasabi mayonnaise dressing. Distinctive flavours and freshness in each bite making it so addictive in every way.

-Appetizers--
Assorted Dimsums - vegetable dimsums, Chinese pickled veggies stuffed in dough and steamed. Flavoured with rice wine and vegetarian oyster sauce, crystal dumpling and mushroom and water chestnut wontons. We loved them all with their inhouse coriander dip. Seriously, dimsums are like little juicy, steamed morsels of happiness, pop one in your mouth and experience instant joy!

Sushi is popular for a reason: when it's made right, it's really, really good!
The Sushi Platter- which consisted of, spicy corn roll, crispy corn sushi and temaki aka sushi cones which were unique and tasted exactly like sushi yet in a cone. I almost forgot how perfect vinegary sushi rice, creamy avocado, fresh cucumbers, and cream cheese go together.

Cottage cheese bao- bao filled with satay flavoured cottage cheese. The bao were perfectly done, the filling was packed with flavours.

--Mains--
Sri Lankan sambal, fragrant curry in tamarind and fresh tomato flavoured with curry leaves and chili paste. This was the first time i loved something with coconut in it. Me, being not such a huge fan of coconut and it's distinct flavour in any sort of dish, this was a huge exception.

Mee Goreng- spicy Indonesian noodles in a soy based chilli sauce. Meh, I've had better.

--Dessert--
Chocolate bao- steamed bao stuffed with dark and white chocolate drizzled with chocolate sauce when cut into, oozing more chocolate. Am i in my chocolaty zion?

Dish after dish, the team at Mibonasa proved to be truly accomplished. The food was delicious, counter balanced and beautifully presented.

YES!! Finally a place in Navi Mumbai that serves authentic Pan Asian cuisine. Palm beach road is home to one of the Navi Mumbai's newly opened restaurant in the form of MIBONASA.

MIBONASA here speaks of migration, tradition and the consumer is floored by the intricate detailing to the dishes from regions across the world. It's a family of four who had come up with MIBONASA and made sure that every dish has a story to tell.

They have brought something a little different to Navi Mumbai, since there weren't many south East Asian restaurants here. They have all travelled south east Asia and wanted to bring those flavours here. The owners are- Mini Guha, Ashok Guha(Bobo), Nayantara Guha and Sangamitra guha. The word MIBONASA is the outcome of the first two letters of all four of them. Isn't it innovative and fancy thought ?

They serve a variety of pan Asian dishes from Thailand, Japan, Burma, China, Indonesia and many more! Their aim is to keep bringing new and exciting dishes for their customers to try and the main ingredient to this restaurant is their chef SANDEEP who is based from darjeeling. He is always working hard to come up with new Asian fusion dishes, with exotic ingredients and nothing but the freshest food from wok to the table. All the proprietary sauces used are made in house by the chef which is more than commendable.

The first thing you notice about this restaurant is there is a huge wall painted with a piece of art that escorts you up the stairs. The wall artsy consist of a busy bustling market lane painted over Chinese newspaper which looked indeed beautiful!

Special mention to the menu- one of the most lurking and a balanced menu right from appetisers to desserts we have come across in recent times.

The highlighted part is MIBONASA serves JAIN FOOD too!

So now let's start with some VEG food?

Getting started with the soup, we were served Veg lemon pepper coriander soup. It was indeed a beautiful soup, so rich and green waiting in a hot tureen! This soup was correctly balanced with all its flavours . The flavour of pepper and green veggies enhanced the tastebuds, wanting to have it more and more. The soup had breathtaking and fresh aroma which was bursting out with flavours and is memorable much! A perfect soup for vegetarians to lift their spirits and stimulate their appetite with this fresh soup.

Let's get little more healthy after having soup and talk about salad? We were served Japanese salad. The ingredients used in this salad were assorted greens, Japanese cucumber, mushrooms and wasabi mayonnaise dressing making it more authentic. Overall it was a well made, nice, green and healthy salad with certain uniformity and made perfect sense for those ingredients to share a bowl!

Appetisers are first impression to wow the guest right? They definitely wowed us to some extent.

Kung pao potatoes was the first dish served which was tempting with the sauce drenched potatoes. If you love potatoes and Chinese cuisine then you will definitely love this dish. The potatoes were so crispy and the juicy sauce made it more lip smacking. It was perfectly balanced with its sweetness and spicy flavour. They were little bit of more salty but then a Must try!

Then comes Tulip Cube! It's made of wonton nest filled with mixed vegetables and cheese. In a simple language they were more of a spring roll type. The flavours were correctly blended with the mixed vegetables but the layer covering those veggies in the form of cube was bit thick and not that crispy as expected. In all it was reasonable and could have got much better! Worth trying once.

Spiced Chinese cabbage rolls were up next. I have never been a fan of cabbage rolls until I tried this. It's a steamed Chinese cabbage filled with fragrant rice and vegetables, topped with garlic and chilli butter. While cutting it really well the cabbage just blended very well with the rice and vegetables. Garlic and chilli butter gave it more of Asian flavour and were taste bud enhancers. Now this was a perfectly comfort appetiser and very well garnished.

I drink Mocktail because I am thirsty! Sitting back in the summer heat with a cold and nutritious drink can be one of the greatest pleasure in life. Many people opt for cocktails but mocktails — drinks minus the alcohol — can be just as satisfying.

P.s- they don't serve alcohol, so ya :p

Starting with FOOLISH MELON. So don't you get surprised because ya it's a name of a Mocktail served in a fancy bulb kind of closed glass which was so easy on eye!

This Mocktail contained refreshing combination of watermelon, peach crush and orange juice I one container. Correct taste and flavour of this drink proved to be very cooling for our body! Moreover it was presented so artistically that one doesn't even feel like touching it!

Up next served was SALTY SUMMER.

Salty summer is a combination of orange juice and pomegranate juice which is something very new or rare to come across. The drink is classically presented with the salt on the edge of the glass and orange, pomegranate inserted in a stick which was kept resting on the top of the glass. Salty summer didn't impress me much because it was very much tangy then what a balanced flavour demands. Overall it was an average drink.

How about PEACH TEMPTATION? The name actually served it purpose and this Mocktail was so tempting! :)

Peach temptation is mixture of peach syrup, apple juice, orange juice, Sprite served in a Long glass! An orange slice was used as a lid on the glass which was like cherry on the cake:)

It was so sleek and soothing in taste! The sweetness was apt to suit ones preference. Do not miss out this drink!

Anyone up for WATERMELON AND BASIL MASH?

It has such a killer combination of fresh watermelon, fresh basil and apple juice. The fresh basil taste at the end of the sip turned out to be a hero for this Mocktail. I think there was no sugar because the fresh watermelon itself had that light sugary taste and the apple juice made it more appetizing. The overall garnishing and presentation of this drink was so inviting and refreshing.

This is definitely on my top list of ways to beat the heat!

Oh wait! How can I say no to those cute dumplings who are staring at me and waiting for me to eat them?

STEAMED VEGETABLE DUMPLINGS were toothsome in real!

These dumplings were wrap in a thin flour base kind of sheet, each of it consisted tiny pieces of Chinese pickled vegetables stuffed in dough and correctly steamed. They were flavoured with rice wine and vegetable oyster sauce. The oyster sauce was boosting the flavour of dish and the rice wine balanced every layer of flavour in it. Overall the dumplings were perfectly moistened and cemented with delectable flavours giving an authentic touch. These dumplings were spectacular in every dimension good food should be.

COTTAGE CHEESE BAO was our very next dish after dumplings. The cottage cheese Bao also has tofu as substitute for cottage cheese. This dish consisted of a Bao with satay flavoured cottage cheese including lettuce and cucumber slices with their skin on! This dish was so soft and full of flavour. Would highly recommend to all the paneer lovers because this BAO was WOW in true sense!

What did Sushi A day to Sushi B? Wasabi :p

Then we were spoiled with sinfully delicious veg sushi and sushi cones!

Just look at that spread of sushi platter! :) what a beauty! Slurrppp!!

The chef mastered of his craft on this platter because every piece of sushi was a miniature work of art and the overall taste was sublime. The platter had two different kinds of sushis, one was spicy corn roll and other was Avocado caterpillar roll with sushi cones, soy sauce and power pact wasabi.

The SPICY CORN ROLL includes deep fried corns, asparagus, carrots and avocado with a spicy sauce. The combination of overall sushi and the taste was so so good! Perfect consistency made it more mouth watering. I have NEVER tasted sushi this good! It was bit dry but the overall taste just balanced very well. A+ for the spicy corn roll.

The AVOCADO CATERPILLAR ROLL also was up to the mark and justified the definition of what a real sushi is! The flavours of avocado, cucumber, cream cheese with chefs special soy sauce balanced brilliantly with the rice!

So all the vegetarians give me a big hi5!! Finally a place where such lip smacking veg sushi is served! So what are you'll waiting for? Just roll with it.

MEE GORENG was our next dish which turned out to be a best dish:p

MEE GORENG is a spicy dish with Indonesian noodles in a soy based and chilli sauce. It's an Malaysian dish which is often found there at street stalls and now we can find this dish here at MOBINASA. This Indonesian dish was correctly in proportion with the onion, garlic and spicy paste. In the first bite I was in heaven. The noodles were a perfect balance of salty, spicy and dry tossed with vegetables like Chinese cabbage, broccoli, mushrooms, tofu and baby corn. This dish was beautifully garnished with red and yellow paprika and mint leaves. Such a comfort food!

To make us more fat we were then served last but not the least SRI LANKAN CURRY AND STICKY RICE.

Believe me when il say that this dish was the charm of the whole meal. It was delectably filled with fragrant curry of tamarind and fresh tomato flavoured with curry leaves and chilly paste. Curry was loaded with fresh vegetables like mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini and mint leaves. The authentic local spices, coconut and red chilies made it more flavoursome. The fresh aroma formed the strong base for this curry! Sticky rice and the curry were brilliantly complimenting each other. It was absolutely scrumptious with its creaminess and thickness when we talk about texture. Isn't it tempting? Of course it is!! A must try curry! You'll definitely miss out on some good food if you do not try out this dish!

It's said that without desserts, there would be darkness and chaos! So let's eat some desserts and not surround ourselves with darkness and chaos?

THAI MANGO FANTASYYYYYY!!!!
A fully loaded dessert with so many different fruits like kiwi, papaya, banana, mango! This dessert has a smooth mango mouse in the base which was so soft and correct in its texture that it melts in the mouth and leave you wanting for more. All the fruits were dipped and inserted in the mouse. There was a thin layer of coconut and sago between the mouse and the fruits which made it more delightful! Oh how can I forget chia seeds? They were star to this dessert! The overall dessert was so appealing and alluring.

DATE AND NUTELLA PANCAKES!
This dessert is a popiah wrapper filled with the mixture of dates and chocolate hazelnuts, fried and served with vanilla ice cream! It is a very innovative dessert but somehow didn't fancy me so much! The popiah layer was too thick and fried. The white mustard seeds on popiah layer couldn't get along well for me. The sweetness was not balanced in dessert. This is because I think me not being a pancake fan maybe? So I would suggest all the pancake lovers or fans to go and try out this dessert and give their reviews on it.

Then comes the last and BOSS dessert!

Yes CHOCOLATE BAO was boss of all the desserts!!!

A steam bun stuffed with dark and white chocolate served with a separate bowl of chocolate sauce to pour on Bao! The Bao was so soft and chocolaty in taste with its correct consistency and moisture which made it more fluffy and inviting to eat. The bite of this Bao after pouring the chocolate sauce on it was so palatable and succulent!!! A commendable dessert so far I shave come across!

Not exaggerating but in real It was just not just a Bao of chocolate, but it was Bao of HEAVEN!

Visiting MIBONASA again specially for this dessert again!

There was no chance of any major complain or disappointment because we were continuously served with these delicious dishes one after by such kind a warm staff. The overall experience was spellbinding! Would definitely visit again to try out some more Innovative dishes. The service given was superlative by the impeccable polite staff! A highly recommended place for all the food lovers to add in their food palate.

So is it worth it?? Hell yeah!!

I have never given a 5 star to any restaurant till now but this place has it all. The ambience is good specially the paper wall painting.. The food is really good. Tried tender coconut soup, it was superb, have it if you have a taste for coconut (or your a South Indian;) ). A lower price would have been unfair for the restaurant given the taste, quality and ambience. The speed of service is good. The hospitality is par excellence. Specially Mr. Ashok Gua, he keeps a good check on your comfort. Definitely worth a visit.

One of the places I'd happily rate a 5. This eatery definitely churns out some of the best Asian cusine in Navi Mumbai. They serve Baos, and pretty stellar ones but their offerings are a lot more comprehensive. Their ambience is very different from most other Asian restaurants with lots of colors and quirk is what describes this place the best aptly. Their food is really top notch and their service also enhances your experience.
