A Non AC restaurant situated inside Assam Bhavan serves authentic Bengali and Assamese food.
I went there for lunch and ordered Fish and Chicken thali which seemed quite reasonable for the price charged given that we could take multiple servings of rice. We also order fish fry and it was quite tasty

It’s an unassuming restaurant on the first floor of Assam Bhavan in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. There are no fancy decor or sitting arrangements, but the place is clean. Part of Assam Bhavan on the 1st floor. During covid times the menu is very restricted to set thalis. The food is very simple and any Assamese or Bengali who is used to the cuisine will feel quite at home with the taste. For anyone looking for fancy stuff i think you will be disappointed. Very reason
