Bajirao Restaurant is newly opened outlet at Kamothe near the Mumbai Pune Highway can be easily sighted. The place looks so mesmerizing right from outside itself.
The interiors of the fine dine section has been nicely done, looks quite spacious and bright. The seating is comfortable with with tables well lit.
The place needs no introduction for their Kolhapuri and Malvani menu. Unfortunately I was here on a wrong day had to restrict myself to vegetarian menu, but they come out excellently with veg dishes as well.
To start with we had round of Solkadi for everyone, Paneer Chilli, something different from the regular paneer Chili I have tried elsewhere. This one is crisp and soft on the inside, all the ingredients felt perfectly fine. We did not resist from ordering round 2.
I must say apart from the quantity, the quality of the food served sets a benchmark for this place.
From the mains, we had special veg thali. It was really special with Paneer and Kaju Masala and other vegetables coming together cooked with house special ingredients was scrumptious.
Overall, great food menu and I am sure to make another visit here to try their prawns and other nonveg cuisine!
It is the best place to dine while coming towards Mumbai from Pune / Lonavala. Very easy to reach here as it is next to the Mumbai Highway.
Food is very delicious. Must try mutton and chicken for non veg lovers. Veg food is also great. Very friendly staff.
You can rely on this place rather than the food malls at the highway.
On a side note, place is equipped with USB slots so you can charge your mobile device.

I was visited to Bajirao Restaurant Kamothe with friends, really best food ever ate. Malvani thali was excellent and Kolhapuri thali as well.
The best kombadi bade we had ever eaten and solkadi.
Restaurant ambience is ancient which is suite to name...Bajirao... Nam main hee sab Kutch hai..
Restaurant is located on Mumbai Pune Highway, Kamothe.
We would like to visit again and again.

“Bajirao Restaurant” the name of the outlet n been there on my birthday Celebrations and ordered Kolhapuri Chicken Thali and Pomfret fish Thali n Malvani Muttonvade Thali � and then ordered Chicken Biryani and taste wise was authentic. A Good Place for the fans of kolhapuri and Malavni foodie!!! The Ambience is Nice & The Service is Decent too. This is overall a very good place to eat with family. Please visit once to Bajirao Restaurant, you would like Pandara and Tambada Rass which is more authentic!!!

Best place to eat and enjoy unlimited Tambda rassa and Pandhra rassa, traditionally cooked chicken after you soak WET in RAIN... They really made my day. Amazing taste and very polite and helpful staff.

Have tried chicken malvani and prawns masala with javar and tandul (rice) bhakri
Javar bhakri was an average to the taste but tandul bhakri has melted me. It was soft and spongy with a malvani thaska. Same goes to the malvani chicken and prawns masala.
It was healthy as hey dont use extra oil in any if the food

There's no need to travel to Kolhapur when u can get da same food over here at Bajirao restaurant. Authentic Kolhapuri taste. The food is excellent, Would suggest to have the mutton/chicken fry thali with chapati, malvani chicken with Tandul bhakri... and the tambda rassa is simply amazing. Never had anything like dis before. This is a must try.

I have visited Bajirao Restaurant with my friends. The ambience is very warm. We tried combo thali, chicken thali, mutton & surmai thali which was great & outstanding, very authentic taste. The highlight of the dish was Bajirao combo Thali which was so so delicious & we wanted to have more but unfortunately the manager said that it was all over & I inform him that next time i'll visit again & make sure it's not over. I highly recommend this place for the lover of authentic kolhapuri food which is tasty but not spicy.
It's a cute little restaurant which offers quite a variety of Thalis owned by Sangalikar, very humble person to talk to.I tried a surmai thali and called for some bhakris, loved the rich taste of the curries and fish fried to perfection with right amount of spices I was in heaven. It is one among the best thalis I have ever had,the service was quick, pricing was bang on (won't burn a hole in the pocket) with a homely ambience you will return home happy!

A really nice place for fish lovers! Had been there with family. We had ordered chicken thali and surmai thali. Both tasted excellent. The only flaw I could point was the chicken gravy was too spicy! Tamda rassa and pandhra rassa tasted really very good. We enjoyed food a lot.

I highly recommend the mutton fry thali, because it's one of the best tasting meat dishes you'll ever eat (it's really spicy). My family has visited this place for more than 6 times and never have we came out disappointed. Waiters usually recommend kharda, and I've eaten kharda thrice, but mutton masla/fry thali for me is even better.
Best non-veg thali ever! Consisting chicken masala, egg curry, tambda rassa , pandhra rassa , chapati and rice. The food was really good quality wise as well as quantity wise. I had to share my thali with my friend because of the quantity. The containers with curry were well packed. And food delivered on time. If you like kolhapurian food then this is the place for you!
Was a bit skeptical about trying Bajirao... but extremely happy to experience the awesome taste of kolhapuri & malwani thalis... Though kharghar has numerous top flashy hotels to say, but none matches the quality of Bajirao.
We ordered kolhapuri mutton thali and malwani chicken thali with jowar bhakri and solkadi... Nothing to complain about. Too good.

Superb Place for authentic Maharashtrian food aspecially Non Veg. Service was bit slow in the beginning as the place was crowded. But the staff was very generous & friendly, we order, Malvani Handi, chicken Kharda, rice & jowari bhakri which truly awesome...must visit.....

Where to start..... Long waiting queue but we took it positive. Because we heard a lot about it's authentication for serving assal Kolhapuri and Malvani thalis....which made us to travel all the way from Andheri East to Kamothe.
It's easy to impress foodie people like me with: A clean and tidy ambience, prompt service, delicious food and money worthy.
We ordered Mutton Kharada thali includes:
Mutton kharada, Mutton kheema, Tambada pandhra rassa, Jwari/Rice Bhakri and rice.
Also Mutton Masala and Gulab Jamun separately. I was so amazed by it's taste.

Hospitable staff! Ambiance is really creative and artistic!! On Sunday this place was little crowded however, they have waiting outside the Restaurant! The most important thing to review is food! Yes, I shall give 4.5 stars to the fish food! These people serve authentic malvani food delicacies We had Surmai (king fish) and Pomfret tawa fry. Perfectly spiced fish was tender and well cooked! Prawns fry was also tasty! However, in the main course, chicken in the Malvani chicken handi was nicely cooked! Curry on the other hand in this chicken was lip smacking!
Comprehensively this place is awesome! I shall definitely recommend!!

Amazing kolhapuri thaali, mutton chicken and fish all is more than enough for one person.we visited three friends and taste all three together, quantity quality is up to the mark. Nice and friendly staff , nice Ambience. I will visit soon Bajirao. And sure refer it to my near and dear ones.
The newest addition to the food heaven of Kamothe (Navi Mumbai) with some beautiful decor and spacious sitting, Bajirao Restaurant is a surprise for the vegetarian food lovers compared to generalization of non vegetarian based preparation too.
Chiken Chilli:- preparations of Chiken chilli nicely fry with capsicum which was the highlight of the platter.
Solkadhi :- The signature drink of any local cuisine based in maharashtra. The quality of solkadhi was superb and probably one of the best i have ever had.
Main course: Malvani Chiken Vade Thali :- Probably the most authentic of gravy preparation, liked very much vade too. Enjoyed a lot with family!!!

This place, as the name suggests is right off the highway and has beautiful and rich interior.
The entrance of restaurant is highly polished look with dark chocolate and golden decor where as the the first floor is designed too give a perfect feel of a fresh and warm. The Pandara Tambada Rass was extremely delicious, real flavour and feel of Kolhapur. Highly recommended to have Pandara Rass. Mutton handi had the mutton cooked perfectly and the gravy was nice and thick. Jawari Bhakari was really nice and feel of village. Overall, this place is a nice dineout as it gives you experience of royal interiors and the food is mouthwatering.
Awesome food, i usually prefer north indian food but after visiting Bajirao Restaurant now i am fan of kolhapuri food, it is just awesome, mutton quality is very good, Ambience is nice, nice staff.

If you are a true non vegie and fan of spicy maharashtrian delicacies,
then this place is a must visit. it is definately a good option for Maharashtrian Thali and that too in Navi Mumbai.
This resto serves some amazing and lip smacking non veg dishes.
They have thali options which is perfect for a person's appetite.
We had ordered chicken suka thali with wade.
They definitely do represent the maharashtrian food. Spicy and full of flavour, the food made me gulp down water
yet left me wanting to eat more. It was a little too much for my small appetite but it's perfectly proportioned for 1 person.
Maybe I'll just keep the second roti as optional.
They have a serving of chicken/ mutton accompanied with gravy, as minced and with pieces and masala.
They have 2 kinds of broth(Tamba Rassa and Pandhara Rassa), and 2 large sized (or just maharashtrian) rotis.
The ambiance is really nice with a close knit layout. The service is fast and the staff is good too.
I don’t clicked picx of Thali last time but I will surely have one while my next visit.

Our entire family had visited them and we ordered variety of thalis which were as per our expectation.
The quality and quantity of food is perfect and it's definitely authentic Kolhapuri food.

The Restaurant is a work in progress as far as the Lights and the decor and furniture of the place is concerned. The photos already posted are old photos. But the Food is just OUT OF THIS WORLD. Does not feel like you are sitting in Navi Mumbai but in Konkan next to the beach. If this Place is renovated with a Konkan theme it will be a HIT along with the already Tasty Delicious FOOD.
Very nice palatable preparations particularly Kolhapuri Mutton Handi and Surmai Fry. We relished the feast. We took the parcel at Kharghar and enjoyed lunch at Ravet Pune. Memorable experience.

Nice hotel, cleanliness maintained, ordered chicken thali which consist of chapati/bhakri, chicken in gravy, egg curry, paandhra, tambda rassa, sol kadhi. Chicken was fresh, also rassa n kadhi we're delicious. Price is reasonable, prompt service, staff is humble n most important don't forgot to eat flavoured fennel at the end.
I must say, they serve some authentic kolhapuri food. Worth every penny, so delicious and spicy. A 5 Star for Food and Mouth Freshener. I am not rating their staff, as it will be in justice to the quality of food.
All rating is just for food and taste. Typical malavni spicy thalis. Noting else is worth mention, zero staff or ambience. Worthy place for malvani style nonveg food, experimental vegetarian and eggiterians should also try this. But would advice strict vegetarians to stay away from what I have seen and experienced.

Well in need of some mouthwatering yummmy tambda pandra rassa ordered stuff from here... kolhapuri mutton masala, tambda rassa, solkadi and pandra rassa was on the list.... even chicken masala thali was too good….quantity was perfectly ok as per price.
