Nice place for a meal with family and friends, especially for dinner. Calm spot with sufficient parking space.
If you're looking for good seafood at reasonable prices, you're at the right place. Everything I tried was in seafood and nothing disappointed. Fish was fresh, cooked nicely and tasted good.
It’s calm around as it’s rite in middle of fields and on an almost empty road. Sea food is brilliant, the taste was perfect, it was for a dinner hosted by our friends in Goa, so locals know the best. The service may take time due to usual rush. Fish, Prawns and squids were were perfectly fried with the right spice. The upper deck makes for leisurely beer and fish. Great place for the families.
Been a fan of this place for a long time now. Have seen the place grow like anything. From a small shady room serving food to big full fledged restaurant. Rita has always served the best tandoori and really fresh fish. Their prawns golden fry taste really awesome with the tar tar sauce and their masala fry and rawa fry fish is really the best. Their prawn curry is loaded with prawns and butter chicken is really tasty. Would highly recommend the place.
Good food, good service and relaxed atmosphere... Rita's seems like a place to be to enjoy good food and chill out with a beer on a hot afternoon.
Surprisingly good veg options too. We called for Crabs, Soups, Prawns and king fish. Nothing that we regret.
Special tip: ask the staff to suggest something and they'll get the house best for you!
All and all, amazing experience
Awesome restaurant to have sea food. Restaurant is surrounded with green fields. Ordered King Fish Masala, Prawns Masala and triple rice. Every thing was very delicious especially the Prawns Masala with Roti. Loved the food here.
Amazing restaurant amazing food amazing service. Undoubtedly the best, tasty and fresh fish served here truly a delight for dinners. The service was also nice and quick. The ambience is also good and comforting. Highly recommended
Good place, a bit inside but worth a visit. Service is okay. Food is good. All chicken and fish dishes are good. Pocket friendly. Little improvement in service will be really welcome.
When I was going to leave for Mumbai this is the last restaurant I visited. It was recommended by a local person the first thali was really good and rest of the food was also reasonable and good that is also very cool over there. For more updates follow me on Instagram - Delicious_captures
Good food. Good ambience. Relaxed environment. Inexpensive. Spacious. Good parking space. Must visit. Place is located very close to Nerul Church and hard to miss.
Home away from home. A must visit resto bar bestowed with plush greenery, pleasant and decent ambience with a touch of love and comfort...One of the most enjoyable venue to be with family and friends. Delightful experience in sea food....guaranteed good food served with warmth and friendliness...do visit.
For all the seafood lover's, this place is a paradise for you'll. Seafood over here is very fresh and well prepared with authentic Goan flavour. Also tried their chicken tandoori and butter chicken which was well marinated and tasted amazing. I would recommend their golden fried prawns which are very delicious and the cheese garlic naan which is an overload of cheese. All the dishes we tried were impeccable with extremely good service.
The thali was tasty and authentic. The regular mackerel thali was priced at Rs.150/- and kingfish thali was priced at Rs. 250/-. The serving quantity was perfect. Could not try other fish items but will surely recommend for the thali.
No better place to have your food and chill out at the same time away from the noisy places in north Goa. The place is little away from the Coco Beach and serves best Butter garlic prawns & local styled king fish fry. Their speciality is authentic Goan dishes and they deliver in it. Moderate budget & cosy atmosphere where you can sit with your group and relax. Dont miss if you are fan of local Goan cuisine.
Decent place to hang out with family or friends..Was there with my friends and had a very good time. The Goan food is good. Chinese is ok. There is parking as well. So i didnt have to worry about that. Access road is a bit narrow but all's well in the end.
Super sea food & cocktails. The tandoori fishes are also nicely cooked and delicious. The restaurant had a nice sitting area and cool ambjence. Good place to chill with friends over drinks and seafood.
Holla!! It feels good to be back again in yet another mouth watering place, right near the creeks and lush green fields of this place called RITA’S situated at Nerul
Best-valued restaurants especially known for it's fine cusine of our rich hertige what we Goans call it Authentically Local and more particularly if you are a fish lover.
The ambiance at first is awesomely great just like the decor is pleasantly and gives u a feel of the antique Portuguese structure totally loved it with a class of Goan and Indo-portuguese mix, too good!! very hygienic, very fancy, good with Seafoods especailly the Goan authentic cusine.
Reliable Goan Classics, A massive thali served at a miserly price with quantity that can easily be self satisfing. When it comes to reviewing about the fish, it’s fresh and not cold stored.
The service is quick, staff very cooperative, coming to parking facilities if you are early you stand a better chance of comfort

Recommend place, wasn’t over all too happy with the approach & ambience of the place, but the service was good. The sea food was good and as per my taste buds. 2 levels, the AC room on the 2nd floor.was not impressive, better to sit down. Fish curry is good here. Good spread of alcohol and well priced place.
This restaurant is located a little far from the popular places in North Goa, but that is actually a positive: it is a calm and peaceful restaurant to relax and dine, as well as quite cheap. We had butter chicken, butter naan and chanak fish fry. All the dishes were quite tasty. Service was pretty good as well with the waiter attending to us promptly. It is one of those rare places where your stomach, taste buds and wallet are all happy to be.
On a vacation in Goa... Happened to visit Rita Restaurant & Bar for dinner... Amazing food and even the service as well is very good... the server Mr.Rajesh was very friendly and very helpful.... definitely my next visit will not skip this place..😊
One of the finest place of my choice in Goa. Not so highly decorative, but yes able to draw your attention by their simplicity and hospitality.
This bar cum restaurant provides a large parking are as well as an arrangement of about 120 seating capacity considering both the A/C and Non-A/C section.
Staffs are attentive and can explain food of their choice very well. If you are in a confusion while opting your dish, you can easily go by their choice and trust me you will be a gainer.
We opted for Fried Rice, Kulcha, one Chineese and one Indian preparation of Chicken as a side dish. Both were very tasty. The most tasty dish we opted for was the Chanak Fry. Yes this sea food was really awsome and my suggestion is you must try a preparation of Chanak Fish whether it be a chineese preparation or simply be a fried one.
Now coming to the costing part, as compared to other restaurants in Goa it is slightly overpriced but affordable.
So don't think twice, once you are in Goa just go and grab you food from Rita Restaurant and Bar.
Happy Fooding...🥃🍗🍾
Yet another place who has good reviews and word of mouth, a spontaneous plan for a group lunch, the restaurant is close to coco beach and is in 2 levels, 1st floor AC area with a small seating area and Lower floor with is huge and where the bar is.
So we quickly ordered for few drinks and starters.
The servers are quite friendly and are ready to help.
But when you are a seafood lover you knw what to order for ;)
The starters arrived in 15mins:
#Calamari Rawa fry: Small calamari(squid) rings battered with semolina and is oil fried deeply, the squid was cooked perfectly and wasn’t chewy, also the portion was quite generous and served with a small salad on the side.
#Calamari Reachado masala: Squid rings tossed in tangy Goan Reachado masala which is famous goan vinegary tangy spicy masala, the reachado was good but the vinegar quantity in it was more. This dish was ok.
#Prawn fry: King prawns batter fried with semolina and cooked to perfection, again generous quantity and was great.
# Chonok Reachado Masala: Seabass filled cooked in famous goan vinegary tangy spicy masala same as the squid the quality of the fish was quite good and was fresh.
Jumping to main course we ordered which again took good 15mins:
#Goan fish curry with rice and Goan prawns curry with rice: Both the curry’s were perfect balanced with regards to spices and tanginess.
# Pomfret Rawa Reachado fry: whole silver Pomfret cooked with Reachado masala rubbed in its slit belly and pan fried, again the fish was well cooked and was moist, also the size was quite generous.
We accompanied the meal with famous Goan corn beer Kings beer and Mojitos.
To finish off the meal we tried their Solkadi which was brilliant.
Overall it’s a good place, quite decent though once the AC room gets full it’s becomes quite hot. Service was prompt.

Want some authentic Goan food at a cheaper rate head to Rita.Try the rawa fried prawn which is excellent. They make a great fish recheado too.Not fine dining ,but a quaint place where the locals eat.So you can't go wrong here.
A secluded place surrounded by fields and a beach nearby. Despite the Goan heat, you get a comforting feeling at this place. They haven't tried anything very fancy with the decor hence the ambiance helps in maintaining that homely feeling. Would suggest starting off with a beer or a mocktail (which we did). Had some french fries which were like they always are. Had Paneer Manchurian which was Crispy and spicy and everything my vegetarian friend needed. Chicken cafreal was delicious, slightly overcooked in a way that I loved it and it also complemented the drinks well. The dishes would look more appealing if they put some more effort into the presentation. Naan were certainly not chewy. Though we asked for butter Garlic naan I didn't expect them to be this buttery. Rawa fried Prawns were mouth watering, fresh and appetizing. Crispy chicken was passable, I've had similar at many places. Thehezwan rice was good too. The prices are economical.
Went for dinner, was disappointed as Fish Thali was only served at lunch. So ordered Butter Chicken with naan, tasty! Portion was sufficient for the two of us. Our one naan order came with six pieces. Ambience was pretty good and service was quick. Did'nt order sea food as each dish was an average of Rs 350, which seemed on a higher side for a goan. Guess the coastal location demands the pricing. Ok for a visit.
Got to try this place by a local for seafood and I wasn’t disappointed,
I had kingfish rawa fry 550rp and seafood biriyani 350rp ( was absolutely fantastic )
My friend squid chilly fry and some kind of chicken livers, we had 2 x roti
1 x chilly cheese garlic nan
1 x mix raita
3 x large tuburg
3 x small tuburg
Total price 1860 and to say the 2 dishes alone was 900 that’s excellent value and truly amazing food,
When we left the place was getting very busy which is always a good sign and I was in a party of 7 and no1 had any complains all said it was very good,
If u ever want a nice ten min drive from all the hussle n bustle of calangute this is a must visit for a nice chilled time
See u later in the year and keep up the good work
This place is known for fish although the chicken dishes are exceptionally good.the location is bit difficult to find but once u reach there its totally worth it.it has both ac/non ac section
Recommended dishes
1 chonak rava/masala fry
2 squids batter/masala fry
3 chicken malai kabab
4 crispy chicken
Amazing place to sit back and relax with flavouring food..Place is slight inside from
Panjim & ambiance is really good.Do try chicken crispy and mussels rawa fry..
Recommend this place as pocket friendly & authentic..
Just loved this place. Couldn't believe the total bill just came upto ₹2.3k for 7 people. The prawns golden fry and squid golden fry is a must try. The squid chilly fry is also good. Had also ordered the chicken handi with roti along with fenny and some beer. A must go to place if you visit Goa.
Sharing my secret ...I have been to Rita on several occasions and each visit has been totally worth it and therefore only fair that I totally recommend them for the great seafood must try the Crab sukhe,Chonak,Bombil, and Prawns ...the Pomfret Curry is really exceptional & ALL the Sea Food is very very Fresh...
It took us some amount of time to locate this place but once we reached there we treated ourselves to delicious surmai/kingfish fry and slushes. The staff was helpful. we expected live music but we're told that it was off season hence we returned early
Went here based on recommendation from local friend. Decor, ambience is nothing to talk about especially in non-ac section. Service was bit slow, but food was worth the wait. Fried Kingfish, prawns were.very tasty. Ordered Thali, both prawns curry, tisarya (muscles) just a tad hot, but very very tasty!! Kids loved the place for food as well!! Will recommend it to anyone in Calangut, Candolim area.
Best place to eat local good if in Nerul or visiting Coco Beach. Loved the Kingfish curry rice. It was nice. Kids loved the north India food Butter chicken bone less with Tandoori roti. Overall would recommend to try them out you would not be disappointed. Deducting half a point as they do not accept cards and have to carry cash.
Lovely quiet restaurant near the pristine coco beach, Rita's serves the most satisfying and mouthwatering Goan fare. Seafood here is a must to order. Loved their rawa fried mussels, prawns, and batter fried squids. Tawa fried chicken was amazing too. Paneer Manchurian was too good and so was their Chicken liver fry. Another favorite is their Chicken Biryani! Frequented by many locals, the ambience is warm and friendly. Huge quantity, fast service and courteous staff. Would definitely love to visit again.
Visited this place on a Sunday evening. Was very quiet as opposed to the reports of always being crowded. Must visit for an authentic goan food experience. Reasonable rates and super fresh fish. They also served us Lachha paratha after requesting, which was amazingly yummy.
I had been to this place thrice and I feel this place is a perfect for a dinner date. If you and your life partner wanna enjoy some romantic diner time please visit Rita's. Their food will surely make your tummy happy with their delicious food items. This is my favourite place for Cheesy buttery delicious cheese butter garlic naan.
This place gives you the right comfort goan appeal. Great food coupled with good and friendly service by the owner and staff. A bit off from the main road. The cocktails weren't up to the mark but the food is reasonable enough.
Wow amazing food you get here. This place has the best Fish. Loved the ambience service and taste.
Would definitely recommend this one. The ride to this place is also full of random amazing places. Will surely go here when I visit Goa the next time.
Rita is a restaurant better known to locals and far away from tourist attractions.
Food is good here especially goan seafood.
Try their fish like modso, chonak and surmai/king fish and prawns - all are fresh and tasty.
Even their curry is good.
Drinks and food are at competitive rates and they have a well stocked bar.
Place is popular among the locals and it is non ac, open sitting.
You can try goan food here - if you have your own vehicle and are up for adventure.

Good food, reasonable prices. Location is a very remote, no scenic view. Chicken rava fry is a must try. Place is very spacious with AC & Non AC sections. Wait staff was very polite.
Been to this much recommended place . Situated in the interiors of Nerul . 25-30mins drive from bambolim (gmc ). It was crowded . It is is not a beachside place . Food we ordered was good .. we ordered squids chilly , tawa fry chicken , chicken biryani . I must say though being a seafood place the chicken biryani was really good . The order took some time to come . Squids chilly was fab . Tawa fry was okayish .
Parking space is available . Overall good family restaurant 😄
Descent place away from beach!!! Rates are perfect!!! Food quality is good!!! Place is very specious and airy!!! Simplicity in food and its taste is best!!!
Place is worth visiting!!!
Authentic Goan food..
Ask them for the days catch and they will get you the fresh seafood of your choice.
Amazing .. loved it!!!

If you want to try some good goan fish , ill recommend you this restaurant. You place to try when you are with your friends.
There is Nothing fancy about this restaurant , just good goan food, we tried few fish items and they wer pretty good
The most authentic goan food that i had in goa was at this place. Amazing food at attractive price is the highlight of this place. Went there after dolphin sighting and i was pretty hungry so we ordered fish and rice thali, chonak fish fry ,and mussels rawa fry. Mussels were not that great, but chonak fry was amazing. The thali was the gem. It consisted of a piece of nicely fried kingfish (chosen from varieties of fishes), goan curry that consisted of prawns, a masala fry prawn dish, squid masala fry and kokum as pallet cleanser, with a good bowlful serving of rice, all at the price of 250 only. Everything was really tasty and a single thali is more than enough for one person. We also had a cosmo and Pina colada which were fairly made.
All in all, this place has some seriously good food packed in an ordinary shack type outlook. A must if in the area, even when not, the drive too is worth. The only thing bothering is the heavy smell of fried fish that surrounds the whole parking and entrance and the washroom section due to poor ventilation. So don't get worried, you'll get used to it in a minute. But if this problem is resolved then this place deserves a full 5 rating.
Place is amazing and beautiful. The food is extremely good. Super tasty. Amazing rawa fried kingfish, prawns.. The best squid butter garlic. Must try.
I went for the dolphin siting tour and had lunch here while returning. It is a cute & isolated little place with nice, comfortable seating. After trying seafood from a lot of places in Goa, I absolutely loved the seafood I had here. The thali had rawa fried fish, prawns, squid, kokum and curry. Everything was nice except this one thing and I forgot it's name. Rawa fried mussel weren't that good. Rawa fried chonak was really good.
Would definitely recommend to a friend looking for a good, filling, economical Goan lunch.
Good food and awesome place to hangout.....very fast service. Must try the veg manchurian here. very close to the mind blowing coco beach....

Located in Nerul this place offers some really good food. Been here a couple of times. The cheese naan here is the best. Love the squid masala fry and the fried fish. Everything tastes really fresh. Crispy chicken, chicken tikka are also good. Best place for seafood. Ambience is good and A/C as well as non A/C seating available. I've always seen this place fully crowded on weekdays as well as weekends. Food is reasonably priced and service good.
This restaurant is located in the serene village of nerul and reaching this place could be a task. Only the locals of the nerul village could actually be able to guide you to the place, even the ever dependable Google maps fails reach you to the restaurant. The ambience of the place is similar to anyother beach shack. The dishes that I have feasted on at this place are Chonak rawa Masala Fry, Crispy Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Calamari Masala Fry, Chilly Chicken, Chicken Tawa Fry, Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, Chicken Manchow Soup and Cheese Naan (all the dishes are tasty, delicious and packed with loads of flavour). Among all these dishes, my favourite is the Crispy Chicken and Cheese Naan. The pricing of the dishes is very reasonable and truly value of money. The service is courteous but on a day when they are fully packed, getting the attention of the waiter or server can be a real task. I would surely visit this place in the future for my favourites and to try something new on their menu.

So this place situated in a very quiet neighborhood with farmlands surrounding it was an amazing turnout. Totally crowded on a Tuesday afternoon which made me even more desperate to try the food here.
We started off with SeaFood Soup which turned out to be refreshing and good in taste , Kingfisher Fry (Fried in Rawa) - the fish was fresh and soft with good marination but could have been a little more spicy. Praws Balchao - This dish is a must try at Rita , it is a combination of sweet and spicy and the way the whole prawns are cooked is amazing (5/5 for this one.) So a very light on pocket menu with alcohol served at Goa rates so affordable and a chill place where you can have your food with family and friends.
This is a place tucked away in the bylanes of Nerul. From Candolim, about 4 to 5 kms....It's spacious and can accommodate large groups too...
The place is a must visit if you wish to try local cuisine especially Seafood...Prawns, Kingfish, Mussels, Bombay Duck, Pomfret, Squids...Name it and its all there...!! we tried some chicken dishes and found them to be good too...
The best part is...that its value for money...Unlike other restaurants who have hiked up their prices especially seafood, this place still has its dishes average priced.
We keep visiting this places and have always had a good experience.
As some other reviewer mentioned, ...if only they could improve their toilets. ...It would be great...
All in All...A good place to Dine with family as well as friends.
Good food, good ambience..with sum delicious starters.. Sumthings you can try out is their non veg 'sukha' gravy item..tastes dilicious, specially chicken sukha....cuisine is mostly goan with chinese available..overall everything is very good for the price you pay..
Hard to find, even using Google maps.
We ordered : Hong Kong chicken, chicken lollipop, chicken caffreal and squids masala fry.
Hong Kong chicken was delicious, a definite recommendation from my side.
The caffreal too is well prepared but it tastes the same as that served at any place which offers a decent chicken caffreal. (Although it's possible that my taste buds have developed caffreal fatigue after eating it so often, both at home and outside).
On the downside : 1. No tandoor items are available in the afternoon, naan and roti included. I've eaten enough chapatis in my life to cringe at having to order it at restaurants.
2. The masala fried squids were too spicy,
We didn't get to try their speciality, which is fish as we visited in off-season.
The service was prompt, even though only 3 waiters were present.
Overall a very vfm place in a quite surrounding not too far away from Panaji.
And also you'll find a lot of pokémons around.
Bill for 3 people came out to be Rs930, 280 of which was contributed by the squids.
The rawa fried pomfret was outstanding. Prawn curry and rice was great to go with. Service was polite. Sidharth More gave very good service.
Go to the place if you want to try a authentic goan food, took me a long time to figure out the place, felt it was in the middle of nowhere, but the place was brilliant and well worth the drive and struggle, enjoyed the kalamari and goan fish curry with rice.
This place was like a surprise to me!
Was on candolim beach and got this restraunt as a refrence after a long search.. Must tell you this is one of the finest place for food that I have visited in goa.
I had a group of 10 people n we were probably late for pur lunch. It was around 3.15 pm when we reached this place through navigation.. On reaching we were asked to order the food real quick as after 4 usually no restraunt serves lunch..
So we ordered a variety of sea food and Chinese as we were all fish lovers
To begin with we had a chilled beer and few mocktails( sadly I don't remember names of the mocktails) but they were yummy..
We had fried kingfish( surmai fry) fried Bombay duck ( bombil fry) and my personal favourite fries prawns( kolambi fry) fried pomfret( paplet fry) it gave us a huge quantity n was getting difficult for Us to finish it up but its amazing taste made us finish it all plus lick our fingers
Its has a true goan taste and very good quantity as mentioned above...
We also ordered a few Chinese dishes with were OK but not as amazing as its goan food
Also the vegetarian people loved the mushroom butter garlic and mushroom chilli
For main course we had a real delicious and spicy goan curry and rice
Over all it is an amazing restraunt for fish lovers and goan taste lovers.. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would also try to re-visit it whenever I m in goa!
Had dinner the 1st night we were in Goa, and mind you this was the best dinner ever. Food was extremely tasty. I for one am not a fish lover, but on this particular night I just dove into the fish and couldn't help myself to indulge in it completely. I was drooling all over the place. Liquor is DIRTY CHEAP..!! the ambience is perfect as well. They had 2 guys singing at the restaurant and they sang for us an amazing Konkani song. Hats off to this place. It is in a secluded location, but not to far from the city. Had an amazing dinner and one of the most memorable dinners. Will be back here to axe down heaps of calories.
When it comes to cheap alcohol and good quality food, this is one of the best place in Nerul,Goa.
Alcohol
Goa is meant for cheap liquors.
But here we saw that rates were something beyond cheap.
IB 30 20/-
RS 60 50/-
So damn cheap !
Food
1. Squids
This place is famous for Squids. Try Golden fry Squids or Garlic Chilli fry Squids. Finely diced and properly fried pieces of squids was served with mayonese. It had a nice golden color texture and was spongy. It was a worthy start of dinner.
2. Kebabs
We ordered a full Chicken Tandoori. There were 8 perfectly cooked pieces served with some salads. Again, this was awesome and worth the money.
In main course, we ordered chicken xacuti, chicken mughalai and butter rotis. Chicken xacuti is one of the famous dish when it comes to goan food. Quanity, Quality and ambience wise everything was excellent. Food rates were feasible. Even if its a bit expensive, it is worthy.
Do check it out !
Been to this place like 4/5 times and never have i been disappointed with the food. Sea food lovers you gonna fall in love with this place cuz they serve you fresh fish got from their own travelers. Nice one storied structure with AC seating on the top and a quite passage like seating arrangement for the quite ones (as its bit noisy down). Friday, Saturday Sundays are always full, so call and reserve if your planning to visit in a group. Food, Kingfish rava fry, Squids and Prawns masala fry is a must try. Special treat try the pampalet tandoor we just loved it.
Service - 3.5/5 Food 4.6/5 Ambiance - 4.5/5
A decent one storeyed shack proximate to the coco beach... USP of this place is the seafood they serve... Kingfish rawa fry , golden fried tiger prawns and modso masala fry were delectable... Fish was very fresh... Chicken crispy was okayish... Chicken xacuti is amazing.... Do not fail to order prawn curry rice... Overall a very good experience... Only turnoff was the service... Service is poor!
Luck and taste both in my favor
My company quarters were very close to this restaurant so was a frequent visitor here.
There is no such ambience over here except for local guys coming and singing few songs.
Service again is not that exceptional (dont expect much from this category of restaurants).
What they have is best food available at decent prices. I have tried Tandoori Chicken here, 3.5 (chicken seemed to be too dry),
Chicken Masala (4), good in flavours + chicken cooked perfectly.
Looking forward for next visit.
Really fresh fish - which made an amazing dinner. Tried the fried fish, jumbo prawns, calamari with garlic and fish with masala fry. It was amazing! Would highly recommend this place. Although the cocktails weren't upto the mark
My cousins took us here the ambience was very fresh. We had chicken cafreal which was very different from what we had elsewhere but really nice n creamy. Chonak fry was juicy. N portions were good but the road is small. So big cars may hv problem reaching there but over all hd a great experience n would surely love to go again
One of the best places for fish. Some of the best dishes are rawa fried kingfish ,rawa fried prawns, rawa fried chonak, rawa fried mussels..
Good food best fish good ambience i hv been dr many times so u coud try dr squid's butter garlic .. chanak masala fry and crab xec xec . ambot tik

Really Nice and soothing restaurant. Very friendly Owner & staff, good service. Normally it's a full house, so got to grab the table bit early.
A typical Goan person likes Seafood prepared in authentic Goan style and some alcohol along with that & this place gives you both without hurting your wallet much. I liked the way they have priced the spirits. Very reasonable.
To start up with food, we had lot of seafood. The local favorite Chonak Rava Fry was damn fresh and tasty. The Mussels & Prawns Rava Fry and Squids Masala Fry were equally good. Other than this we had Shark Ambot Tikh and crab Masala.
In Chicken dishes we tried tandoori and Chicken Cafreal. Tandoori was just average but the gravy of Cafreal was too good.
There's some scope of improvement for chicken dishes I feel or may be the Seafood Delicacies are so good that they outclass the chicken items.
I suggest you to go for seafood and any goan style dish. They won't ever disappoint you.
Nice place away from the city life .service is good, nice music .you will enjoy if u go wid family
Only problem is during lunch time they dont serve tandoor items
We ordered chckn cafreal n butter garlic prawns ,it wasnt even dat expensve
Nice restaurant with a laid back attitude. Tasty food coupled with good service. Excellent tandoori food. A bit off the main Street but definitely worth the detour.
If you are low on budget and want the value for money experience then go to Rita's for fish, trust me you wont be disappointed. Fresh fish at gr8 prices and fantastic hospitality is what rita is all about. This place always give me the cozy goan appeal.
Highly recommended restaurant for FISH...N I mean it.. Only fish..neither the curry nor the rice or for that matter other non-fish dishes on the menu...the fish served is very fresh
Scores high points on ambience as it is not the typical enclosed environment but open pucca shack ...usually good for a Sunday brunch,.
The place has a nice and calm atmosphere, the view of green fields makes it very relaxing. The food here is good. Non-veg dishes are good, prices are balanced. Mocktails also were good n refreshing. The service is quick too. You might have to go a bit early or reserve a table as the place gets full quickly at times.
Tried the best seafood like kingfisher fry, squids fry and crab fry. Cocktails were also good.
Our lunch at Rita’s was really amazing. The food was fresh and very flavourful. The portion size was great too. We ordered cocktails that took a little extra time to arrive but was up to the mark too. The staff there are very accommodating and kind and very responsive. They very kindly allowed to take our dog along and gave us a table right next to the garden area where they allowed us to keep him. The space is easy on the pocket and has a great refreshing view of lush fields. Will definitely visit here once more!
Amazing food as always, fish is fresh and delicious. Location is kinda easy to find but you can post since it’s pretty inside the village of Nerul. Great service and staff are helpful. Prices are reasonable too. Always nice coming back for a meal.
Good food
Good taste
Good price
Good ambiance
Good staff
Alll good
Visited this place after a long time.
Food was good.
Chicken Vindaloo was little extra sour.
Goan Chicken Chilly fry was nice.
Excellent place for lunch and dinner. The food is tasty ,perfect Goan taste. The ambiance is quite good and the prices are also reasonable.Must visit
Good food. Lovely ambiance. Cool misty breeze made it all the more enjoyable experience.
Service was quick. Portions are good. Staff courteous.
Washrooms are well maintained. Ample parking space.
Limited options for deserts. Well stocked bar.
Would have preferred being served "PAO" over the rotis. You just can't have authentic Goan gravey dishes without pao !!!
Chicken Xacuti was a bit under cooked.
Fantastic food served in a countryside setting by excellent Staff
Great food from the Tandoor
Really cold beer. All prices very competitive
Upstairs section which includes Air Conditioned Room or balcony seating
Well worth the ride to the lovely countryside
Excellent food, the place has maintained the quality over the years. Simple seating area , helpful staff which tells you clearly about the menu as well as things available. Rates are also very reasonable
This is old rustic but yet great dining place in Nerul, Goa... Tasty food and drinks too at marginalized hike. Great please for frnds and family for sumptuous family seafood meal. Highly recommended as it's pocket friendly too and has great ambience of nearby rice fields.
The place has a nice and calm atmosphere, the view of geeen fields makes it very relaxing. The food here is good, both veg and non veg dishes are good, prices are balanced. Mocktails also were good n refreshing. The service is quick too. You might have to go a bit early or reserve a table as the place gets full quickly at times.
Worthy of 4 stars purely based on freshness of sea food and taste/preparation.
Excellent place for fresh and tasty sea food. We ordered Prawns butter garlic and it was superb. Fish fry and squids were also good.
Cocktail what we tried was average.
They have AC section upstairs, but it tends to get really noisy so if u want some peaceful time, then better to sit downstairs without AC.
Service is good. Staff is attentive and quick.
No high chair for toddlers.
Sea food prices I found to be similar to panjim city restaurants, in fact I would rate it slightly expensive given the fact that some popular restaurants in panjim offer better quantity for the same price.
Ambience is average and the surrounding area is serene.
Can reach here easily using google maps. It’s dot accurate.
Amazing food. Tried the crab sukka which was epic. Try to go on weekdays. It's less crowded.
Visited this place again when I visited goa the second time. It never fails to impress. Great food served everytime.
Rita, one of the top restaurants in Nerul area where you can taste the exact Goan dishes. Big menu which consist of several dishes. Each food serves here is fresh and tasty. Alcohol is also serving here.
From the list, I loved the seafood biryani the most. The taste of the food was astonishing and has mouth watering smell.
Good ambiance. Evenings are the best time to visit. One can spend any amount of time there. Staffs are polite and friendly. Reasonable pricing.
