the restaurant overlooks lush gardens and also has an open seating, great vibe for a brunch! the menu is innovative, dishes are quite enjoyable and delectable even though portions are small nonetheless I enjoyed the food and mocktails, after a long lunch we decided to sit in the adjoining area Grappa for coffee, along with it they served a cute popcorn mini bucket.
The complimentary bread service was excellent. The Halibut was divine and cooked perfectly. Polite and prompt service. The restaurant wasn't crowded and had a very calm ambiance. Delhi has very few good restaurants and this is certainly one of them.
Excellent food! The manager Mr Deepak is very kind and goes out of the way to make your meal a memorable one! Besides you must try the lasagnia and the pepperoni pizza! Too good. Definitely would recommend this place to go!

Sorrento was on my to visit list for a very long time but never got a chance to visit . But recently that moment came when I saw the perfect time to go there for a very special meal. I heard they were having a special lunch menu running from January to March and I am sad that i visited it in the end of February and not before as it truly is a delight and absolutely worth it . So there is a special Prezo Lunch for 1500++ and is a four course meal per person . The options a very simple to understand , a salad or soup for first course, Pasta or risotto for second course , Mains for Third and a scooped of Gelato for the last. But being lovers of drinks our bill exceeded a the normal price by a lot and coming just under the shade of Rs 10000 with our drinks . So we started with the first course . Our server Ravish Kumar was just an amazing person who was very friendly , very courteous and overall one of the best hosts too . So for the first course we went for the soup as well as salad , the soup was divided into 1/2 for the 2 of us. It was a very tasty and appetizing soup made of roast tomatoes . It had the flavour of the roast and was fresh and sour as well a bit peppery. The salad was a Fresh Garden Salad with Arugula , Carrots , Cucumbers , cherry tomatoes , yellow tomatoes , radish and quinoa as the base . It was a perfect combination of freshness , crunch , sweet and salty. It was presented in a very beautiful way aswell. For the mocktail I ordered a very refreshing Dr. Guys Fruit Cup. A very refreshing fruit punch . It was very nice and refreshing . Then came the next course. This was a delightful course as it was all homemade pasta ! We chose the Fusilli Salmon and Chicken Ravioli with Mushroom Sauce . Honestly both were just superb and examples of beautiful real Italian pasta . The Salmon Fusilli had a very nice pinkish creamy garlic sauce with Fusilli and slices of salmon in it . It had a very robust flavour and the garlic was in small amount which was perfect for this dish. But the Chicken Ravioli was just out of this . It was one of the best if not the best Ravioli I have had. I have had a lot of Ravioli and this one challenges the best of the the best not only in India but the whole world. It was handmade and delicate Ravioli stuffed with a very soft mince like chicken . And the sauce which accompanied this with the pieces of mushroom and its creamy texture really binds this dish perfectly. It was superb and I wish to have this again and again . Finally to the main course . We ordered the Fish and the Lamb . The Fish was a Sea Bass and it was a very interesting dish . It was very tasty and with very different flavour to it. It was cooked perfectly with a crispy skin and soft delicate and delicious fish . It was topped with a fresh mint sauce on it while there was a carrot and saffron sauce on the side for a tang . The mint sauce was for additional flavour and freshness . It was accompanied with a beautiful mashed potatoes with cherry , asparagus , corn , carrot and Brussel sprouts. The whole combination was a very unique flavour to the fish which I really enjoyed. Then there was the Rack of Lambs. It was just superb again . It was small Lamb Racks and we were asked how we would like it we went for well done as we don't like medium rare in India as we aren't sure if the chef can do it properly (eventhough I don't doubt the chef's capability here) but in general as India we aren't sure about the meat of not cooked properly . The Lamb was served with small creamy potatoes and a very strong and tasty jus. It was very beautifully plated with some herbs to give it a fresh popping look. The taste was just amazing with the Lamb being tender eventhough cooked to well-done and was full of flavour of the strong jus and the creamy potatoes were perfect with this giving it a subtle yet filling part to it. It was amazing . Finally we were asked about our Gelato and they had quite a few options but we just love our Belgian Chocolate and we went for that. And honestly it was again amazing . Thick , Chocolatey and smooth very pleasing and just gave the perfect end to the perfect meal. Must say a special thanks again to the chef for the amazing meal and our server Ravish Kumar who served us so well.
It’s a beautiful open Italian restaurant where one can indulge in some delicious food and wines. One can enjoy a relaxed, chill evening with friends and family or even come for a romantic dinner. Their service is slightly slow, but the courteous staff makes up for it. 4.5 stars

Italian being one of my favourite cuisines, has made me visit this restaurant a few times now. I would definitely want to acknowledge the warm hospitality by the staff. They are always willing to alter the dishes to your taste buds.
This weekend I tried their buffet lunch. On weekends they don’t serve a la carte and just have buffet option. The buffet was well spread ranging from octopus stew to quinoa salad. I definitely loved their gnocchi! Totally melted in my mouth. I also loved their grilled chicken pizza.
Had a date night at Sorrento yesterday. Loved the gin and tonic infusions. Ate deep fried mushroom balls with stuffed brown rices and mozzarella cheese. This was a starter but felt like main course. Can be shared by two. Then moved onto the chicken with artichoke. Yummiest thing I’ve had in a while. Loved it. Gonna head back soon for the chicken. Ambience was nice but food was even better
Had a best time came along with my wife during my birthday. Liked the pizzas and pasta as well as service of the staff. Sourav was friendly with us.

Nice place. Food is great. Seems more French than Italian- the portions are pretty tiny, French-like. The waiters could be slightly more attentive. I specifically asked for eggless starter but when they brought in the one he recommended, it had egg.
It's horribly expensive though.

This is one of my absolute favorite places in Delhi for Italian food. Absolutely buono!! The staff is extremely attentive and courteous, love the ambience. And the fooooood is to die for! The attention to detail of chef Angelica is commendable and is what makes all the difference! We ve tried quite a few things at this restaurant and my favourites include the cheese platter, the pork belly, the half and half ravioli, deconstructed apple pie and cannoli! Also something that I really appreciated at this restaurant was the effort they took to plate each dish beautifully into two halves since I was sharing the dishes with a friend. They also have a lovely outdoor seating which is great for the colder months! Overall, I have only love and love for this restaurant!
Since Zomato doesn’t have the half option I’m giving this place 4 but ideally I’d say 3.5* for this place.
The general ambience of the place though pretty is a bit dull on vibe n atmosphere.. It feels a bit dead and missing the zest!
They have a wide variety of drinks, though steeply priced you are highly likely to find your choice of poison here.
A little less variety for vegetarians, the appetisers were a bit underwhelming. We ordered a salad which was nice but could have been better had they had all the ingredients in place. The bruschetta was not my favourite.
However that said, there Pizza was a total hit! I loved the dough and balance of sauce not flavours! And so were the desserts a delicious Panna Cotta & finger-licking Tiramisu!

Visiting Sorrento made me realise, Italian is definitely not my thing, if what they serve there is genuine Italian.
The day I visited was the last day of their existing menu and it was bound to change from the next day. We extended our lunch on 3 sangrias, also, we got to witness all the items on the new menu.
The photo attached is of the new. I wish I had gone the next day, to savour these delicacies.

It was long due and I am not even complaining. I went to Shangrila to meet my friend and we decided to have lunch in Sorrento. I was welcomed by the new chef at Sorrento - Chef Giuseppe Angelica and Neeraj Tyagi. Sorrento is about to unveil their new menu and I was lucky enough to taste it beforehand. The burrata straight from Italy on the bed of quinoa was a delight. The saffron risotto with carefully pan seared wrapped in bacon was not only pleasant to the eyes but was delicious too!. The fish with potato mesh was absolutely divine. And we finished our meal with dessert which was bustling with flavors. Chef Giuseppe Angelica has done a fantastic job with his new menu - simple, bold and flavourful with great presentation. Sorrento is definitely one of the finest Italian fine-dine in the city. Absolutely fantastic food, service and ambience. Saurav and Chetan served us and they couldn't have been any more attentive and friendlier. Each and every dish, from the Italian sausage pasta, to the pork belly, the tiramisu (to name a few) was top notch. They make all their pasta by hand and in house and it really shows.

The tomato dip given with bread basket was very oily - serving chilly olive oil could have been better.
Requested Chef to do something special - received fried potato. The gravy was very delicious though.
Ambience as expected was good with live music playing left door at the bar.
Fantastic Indian Sour was served from the bar again.
The lasagne was pretty average just heavy on cheese.

Started with a warm welcome and smiling face of Saurav and the wine trolley on table ending with limoncello trolley at the end by paramita.

This is a comparatively new Italian restaurant in Delhi. I visited it for dinner on 06-05-18.
Being located in a five star hotel the ambience is great and soothing. The restaurant itself is pleasant with comfortable seating. The service is par excellence and extremely attentive.
Their menu presents a choice of Italian delis, soups, homemade pastas and pizzas. Choice of wine, mocktails and cocktails is great too. For lunch they also offer a fixed course menu, this I am yet to try.
We were welcomed by an apple, beetroot, black pepper shot. This was cool and set the mood for the evening. We opted for the four cheese platter, Sicilian fennel and fava bean soup, Baked Polenta with forest mushroom, pine nuts and gorgonzola cream. The food was very well presented and had authentic Italian flavor to it. I was given to understand that their ingredients and meats are actually imported from Italy. The serving sizes were just right. I chose a glass of sparkling wine to go with the polenta.
The service as I have already mentioned was superb. Our host Saurav took great care of us and helped us with our selections and gave appropriate recommendations. An excellent one was with the dessert. He recommended “Mount Vesuvius”. This was not only a gastronomic delight but a visual one as well. Definitely a must try!
Saurav topped it all up with a shot of fresh limoncello stirred up right in front of us. Overall it was a great culinary experience.
Definitely to be visited whenever you want to taste good Italian cuisine with excellent service in great ambience!

Sorrento is a paradise away from the maddening crowd. The ambience, service and food are top notch, but what I loved most was the hospitality. I was here for a brunch meeting and this place proved to be the right choice.
The only con is that it's expensive. But then of course, it has to be.

Brilliant food! Absolutely Delicious, Food! We tried the Mozzarella on Wheels, which was made by the chef directly in front of us, it was a salad using fresh mozzarella’s, I go to Italy almost every 3 months and I can bet Sorrento’s Mozzarella is as good as the one found in Italy. So this dish was like a Caprese.
Then I ordered the Risotto with Truffle Mushrooms, - Fantastic! Its a must try, as I am a vegetarian this was my dish of the day!!
My Friends ordered the Chicken with Dough, It was like a whole chicken covered in a dough, so the server had to break in the dough to reveal the chicken from it. My Friends really liked the Chicken.
Then we ordered the Tiramisu which I had, and my friend tried the raspberry sorbet as both of these are italian delicacies.

I relished their dessert options in their buffet but I would definitely recommend their Mount Vesuvius and Infinity Chocolate. Worth all the calories although the later one is gluten free.
Baked polenta. The most outstandung dish to take. The mushroom s putten in a very large quantity. It is very tasty and heavy to eat. Can be taken wit the family.

We ordered an artisanal pasta(homemade) which was stuffed with Sweet pumpkin, sage butter and ameritti. It had the perfect balance of flavours and aroma and the second dish we ordered was a risotto which want on their regular menu. They offered to make the changes to suit out palate and it was heavenly. Simply the best risotto ever.

The restaurant is getting famous for using fresh and authentic produce, artisanal pasta, Neapolitan delicacies and pizza, slow cooked family style specialties and a negroni menu.
We started off with a fresh salad that was rustled up before us. Fancily named Mozarella on Wheels, it was a locally handcrafted buffalo mozzarella salad with tomatoes, Napoletano basil and extra virgin olive oil. It just whetted our appetite. Sous-vide chicken with macaroni , black truffle and modena cream- too good! Loved it!
We also ordered one more item, don't really remember the name, however, it was nice and light.
For desserts, we ordered-
Infinity chocolate- Awesome! Loved the chocolate cake and the ice-cream which was coated with chocolate!
Overall, the experience was very good and the staff was also very courteous.
Nice restaurant located at the Shangri la eros hotel. The food is pretty decent.A good Italian restaurant with great service. Ordered the pulled pork cheek carbonara and the seafood stew.
Everything alright!!!If you are looking for authentic Italian food in Delhi, Sorrento is gorgeous and fresh, well presented food using great ingredients and very generous portions. The Italian chef Luigi and the other cooks doing a great job, all perfect and great service. We will be back!
We ordered a cheese plate as an appetizer with some wine and a pizza for dinner; everything was delicious and the service was amazing. Akash was our server and he treat us like royalty. 5 stars all the way
Excellent all around. Surprisingly one of the best things was the complimentary foccacia bread. That was divine! One of the best bread I've had (sadly no photo). It came with this semi pureed olive, which is the perfect pairing.
The pasta were all delicious. The tuna steak was just average. The portion is on the smaller side. We weren't too hungry, but wish that we had tried the pizza as well.

Good Ambience and good food. Be careful when you order drinks though because at one time the waiter served a 30 ml to my host and insisted that it was a 60 ml. The next time we ordered a 30 ml & it was exactly the same as the 60ml ordered previously. Didn't expect such a thing to happen...may have been a mistake but they should be careful.
One of the best experiences I had here. The place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and cooperative. I went specifically for the live tiramisu and because of some chef change they were not able to give it for that day. But as it was my birthday and we requested if anything else could be done, the other chef came and did the live tiramisu just for us. It was really special. Dined here as I was staying in the hotel and needed a break from the Indian food overdose.
Skipped appetizers but enjoyed the focaccia and olive tapenade with it.
Opted for the Barbecue chicken pizza which was well made. The base was soft and fresh and the flavours were just right. Dessert had to be tiramisu and was surprised to see it made live at my table. The flavours were bursting and it was the highlight of my meal. I paid 3600 INR for just two dishes and no drinks but nearly INR 1000 goes to taxes and service charges!
I’m writing this while stuffing my face with green delicious pasta. My daddy is annoying me but that doesn’t stop me from adding more olive oil to this celebration of taste and colour
They even gave me a glass of warm milk and extra dessert 🧁
Super friendly staff, great ambience. One of the best Italian food I’ve had in my life. You can see and appreciate how your food is cooked by the chefs here, which adds an extra oomph to the overall experience. You should try their pasta and soup Quantity wise it’s good but the presentation and taste is right up there. You will regret it if you miss the meal.
Beautiful place with a nice ambience, very well mannered staff and great food .
Portion sizes felt a bit small but the taste was exquisite.
Vegetarian options are very limited but if you are a non- veg love they have a diverse menu .
Sorrento is one of the few Italian restaurants in Delhi's five star hotels. It's combined with Grappa bar at the ground floor. So can have fun of the bar with italian food. There's very nice outdoor seating with very good looking lawn, which is sadly of artificial grass. Seating inside is ok type. Food is ok and the prices are as of any other luxary hotel.
Had a great time with friends. The food was good we had ordered a burrata cheese platter which was just fine, their lasagna is really good it is a must try, The risotto in mushroom sauce was good and for dessert their Dessert sampler has bite size of everything to satisfy your sweet tooth which was really good. The ambiance is really good.
It’s a great experience. Best Italian Restaurant... Very enjoyable meal, friendly & helpful staff. The food is something which tasters will be looking forward to in fine dining. You have to go there to experience it.

I was looking for a nice Italian restaurant in delhi for my husbands birthday and we decided to go to sorrento. Chef Arun Thakur went out of his way to make our day special. We ordered a variety of dishes including a salad , pasta, pizza and tiramisu for dessert. Every single dish was made extremely well and the presentation was to die for. Our server Miss Rajni was very welcoming and helped us select the dishes. On the whole the experience was fantastic and I would recommend this place to Anyone looking for an excellent Italian fine dine restaurant in Delhi.

Pros:
Our server Aman made us feel at home. The food is as close to an authentic Italian cuisine as one can get in NCR.
Music, ambience, and the overall atmosphere is also emit an Italian vibe.
Cons:
Expect to pay Rs.4,000 for two without drinks. So not so light on the wallet.
Authentic Italian paradise. We landed on Tuesday and couldn’t take the pastas since they had egg.
The server promptly offered to do the dishes in eggless options (not on menu).
Inside Shangri-La hotel is this upscale Italian restaurant. We are told they outsource their ingredients from Italy. While I will give five star for ambiance and service (to mention name of Mr Vicky, who helped us in making out choices), there was something missing in transparency for rates on water bottles.
Food is tasty but portions are small. So I doubt this place will be popular with young generation. The Arancini as starter are really tasty. Vegetarian choices are limited. Live kitchen is visible from all tables. Bread platter starters are very good. Appreciate staff.

One of the delectable, decent & decadent Italian restaurants in New Delhi. Food is of good standard, the service is extremely good & the ambiance is tastefully complimentary. My personal recommendations are Burrata, Arancini, Bruschetta pomodoro & Cheese cake. Enjoyed the food with good company ☺️
