One of the Delhi's best Italian cuisine with Delhi's best view.
Awesome food and its presentation.
Awesome ambience and superb staff..
We ordered soup, ravioli, lasagne, desserts and appetizer.
Super tasty. Once in life time experience.
Must go. Most romantic place in delhi
We chose West View as the brunch venue for our 30th anniversary (pearl). Right from word go - tic toc perfection. From Anshuman guiding the initial booking and a well though menu, and then Sanjay and his team guiding the setting, to warm hospitality to super food! All under the able guidance of Akshay. You guys were outstanding and made our day special indeed. thank you team west view
ITC Group never falls to disappoint. Be it food or the ambience, they are indeed the best. We booked the whole place for my sister's engagement and everything was perfect. The staff was extremely courteous and the food was piping hot. A must visit place for those who are fond of exotic pizzas, and pastas.
A cuisine which is more of a tradition than just being food itself. A cuisine which is born of the people, the territory and the seasons, and is not pulled out of nowhere for no rhyme or reason. It is so similar yet so diverse regionally ,protein and butter, cheese rich in the mountains and full of Vegetables and sea food at the seaside.
Simple, rustic and all the more beautiful, Italian cuisine is the mother of modern European cuisine. "Ottimo at West View" is a pioneer, serving this amazing cuisine in the most authentic manner possible. Since,it started about 3 years back with Chef Vittorio, it has come a long way till date. We had a lovely experience at this beautifully romantic restaurant which also has one if the best views of the city.
Chef Akshay Bhardwaj who recently got hold of its reigns has done an amazing job,the special menu curated by him is elegantly delish.
From soups, salads to grills and pastas each creation was better than the one before. Akshay ,I have seen you creating wonders previously too, but this one is fabulous and your true worth can be very well witnessed in what you have done. The hand made pastas, the intricate flavours in the cold soup and the finesse in the contrasting textures and colours of each ingredient used can be seen clearly
Ottimo which translates into Excellent is a true interpretation of this premium address.
A great experience on my birthday!! Sumptuous food and great ambience! Patient and polite staff. Food presentation was awesome! Lovely romantic view for a cosy dinner with loved one.
The dinner I recently had here was truly a delight . The food was all fresh and delicious. The bread basket cake piping hot and was a great beginning to the awesome meal that followed. All the different salads, mushroom soup, risotto and the salmon, chicken, sausages, lamb and everything else we had was absolutely spot on. The desserts were decent, nothing great. The staff were specially attentive and took great care to see that the food matched are specifications. The searing with the view of the city was spectacular. All in all we enjoyed our evening.
Tasted splendidly and exhibited in a lovely way. The staff was respectful and considerate and they ensured that the visitors are having a decent time while at the restaurant. We had prawns are so fresh and all around cooked, sensitive sheep divides, sheep shorizo are essentially faultlessly spiced and burrata is basically past this world.Has maybe the best point of view on delhi in it's outside seating area!Must visit.
This spot unquestionably serves extraordinary compared to other Italian food.Had a delightful supper. Staff was astonishing. An astounding cluster of Italian food.Ambience and setting of the eatery supplements the meal.Infusion of flavors and wine blending proposed was amazing. For dessert we went for Tiramisu which was unrealistic and the ideal end to our live like royalty night!
Let's get this started. So last night i was at Ottimo at the west view which is located at one of the most beautiful properties in delhi called @itcmaurya where in we tried out a menu that bas been curated by One of the known chefs in industry Chef akshay bhardwaj. They call it the Italian extravaganza which is priced at a price of 2500+ taxes. The menu begin with burrata on your table and goes till floss and dream. The thing you would surely love while having the menu is their burrata, amid in the city, basil lemon sorbet .... aah wait infact everything. Go ahead and give this one a try at ottimo at the west view at @itcmaurya new delhi
It was a stunning background and they have done numerous embellishments and uncommonly rooftop top was so exquisite and taste was so sizzling good.Excellent staff and astounding food.We had prawns are so crisp and all around cooked, delicate sheep cleaves, sheep shorizo are simply flawlessly spiced and burrata is simply past this world.Has perhaps the best perspective on delhi in it's open air seating area!Must visit.
It was always in my list to try the Italian food at this restaurant as have heard so much about it. This place definitely serves one of the best Italian food and the day we went, we tried the special Italian Menu designed by 'Chef Akshay Bhardwaj'. It was definitely one of the most amazing 5 course mean I have tried off lately. Tasted brilliantly and presented in a beautiful manner. The staff was very courteous and polite and they made sure that the guests are having a good time while at the restaurant. The whole menu was very rich, flavourful and would definitely like to try again. I still cannot forget the basil lemon sorbet taste as it was so soothing. Think beyond Bukhara if you are visiting ITC as this place is definitely worth a visit if you want to taste the authentic and resplendent Italian food.
Watta a restaurant..!!
Lavish fine dining restaurant if you really wanna try some good asian cuisines.
A must visit place.
Amazing, courteous and mannered staff.
Probably the best Italian food I have ever had. They served us the complimentary bread basket as soon as we sat at the table. There was a wide variety of options to choose from. They had a buffet option and an a-la-carte. We went with a-la-carte and we loved it. The veg and non-veg items were really well prepared and presented in a really nice way. The taste too was really good. Now being ITC Maurya, it was obviously priced at the higher end of the spectrum but all in all, we enjoyed the evening.
Had a scrumptious dinner. Staff was amazing. An amazing array of Italian food.
Ambience and setting of the restaurant complements the meal.
Infusion of flavors and wine pairing suggested was amazing.
Called in last minute for a table and by the time I reached they had one ready me and my husband. I really liked the bread basket served with two kinds of dips. The bruschetta was not the best I've had, it was a bit on the bland side. We ordered a veg lasagna and the tricolor tortellini for our mains and absolutely loved it. For dessert we went for Tiramisu which was too good to be true and the perfect end to our wine and dine night!
Went for the dinner and that too on Christmas
It was an amazing experience and they have done many decorations and specially roof top was so lovely and taste was so sizzling good. Will definitely recommend to my friends š«
Excellent staff and excellent food. It's good fir just a casual meal amongst friends or even for anniversaries. Trust the recommendations of the waiters and staff. The ambience was excellent, especially the live music duo were pleasing to the war and not intrusive and so many most often are.
This is one of my favourite places in Delhi. The food is always great, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Service is world class and the terrace is excellent. I have been there probably 50 times and still will go another 50.
The ever popular Italian restaurant in ITC Maurya Sheraton is usually overshadowed by its more illustrious peers like Bukhara and Dum Phukt. But the food, service and ambiance is equally exceptional at this roof top fine dine restaurant with a beautiful open terrace.
My personal favourites here are Rissotto and Pizza along with Potato Lasagna if you would like to eat something heavy literally.
Food 4.0/5.0
Service 4.0/5.0
Ambiance 4.5/5.0
VFM 3.0/5.0
All time favourite! Especially with kids as their favourite chocolate foundue is the best here.from salads to pizza everythink rocks here.needless to shy away from tweaking the menu for ur palette..well behaved staff. Who takes care all your comfort.
We ordered Double stuffed Ravioli with Funghi first , and then instead of wine we went for the Darjeeling tea and Earl grey tea (one of my favorite teas) . Our Ravioli arrived a little later and Chef Massimo himself came up to ask if we were enjoying the food , he also explained the dish nicely and poured Parmesan water on our Ravioli just before our waiter served us. The Ravioli was double stuffed with mushroom and Ricotta cheese which were beautifully seasoned and flavored. Each bite of the Ravioli melted in our mouths , the Parmesan water poured on the Ravioli just added to the exotic flavours and taste .
Our tea arrived a little later , and we cherished the tea while laughing and enjoying ourselves wonderfully. Our waiter , Himanshu was kind enough to be of prompt , efficient and extremely attentive service which added to our lovely experience.
This restaurant has been through various avatars, its latest one being Italian. The decor is classy and the outdoor seating area offers a beautiful view.
THE SERVICE:
ITC Hotels are known for their impeccable service. I've always encountered highly accommodating and polite staff. On complaining about the cold blast of the airconditioner, they not only turned the temperature up, but also offered us shawls. My father forgot his reading glasses at home, and was offered a box with many reading glasses, so he could pick one closest to his number.
Even more impressive than this personalized attention, were the complimentary desserts and garlic bread, we were served in addition to the customary bread basket.
THE FOOD:
The food at every ITC restaurant has always impressed me. Ottimo offers three different buffets, which can be selected on the basis of how hungry one is. These include:
Cold Buffet Cart which consists of cold food like meats and salads, and can be combined with certain selections from the A La Carte menu.
West View at Ottimo buffet which consists of cold cuts, choice of soup & pasta.
West View Experience buffet which consists of cold cuts, choice of soup & pasta, grills & desserts.
In our party of five, two people chose buffets (1 Cold Buffet Cart and 1 West View at Ottimo). The other three shared the Antipasti Dello Chef (selection of non-vegetarian antipasti) and a pizza divided in two sections- the Ottimo (tomato, mozarella porcini, salame piccante, arugula and parmesan) and the Prosciutto e Mascarpone (tomato, mascarpone cheese, mozzarella, Parma ham).Ā
Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Of the two pizzas, my favorite was the Ottimo with each distinct flavor shining through.
The desserts were a selection from their buffet, each one satisfyingly delicious. We also ordered drinks including wines and whiskeys of different kinds.
The high price tag is requisite with the service and the quality of food. I highly recommend this place.
The best quality food brunch we have ever experienced. The prawns are so fresh and well cooked, very tender lamb chops, lamb shorizo are just perfectly spiced and burrata is just beyond this world.either you love Italian food or you donāt, you will love the food here either way.Iād go back to this place every Sunday !
Ottimo the Italian restaurant at ITC Maurya has opened gates for lunch over weekends. Initially serving only dinner, Ottimo is serving lunch on Saturdays and have Sunday brunch, well on Sundays. The restaurant is planning to open all week long for lunch and we canāt be happier about it. Here is why.
Went here for our anniversary..lovely decor and attentive staff that offer to customise your order according to your preferences. They are proactive and efficient ..brilliant mocktail options and food.Has one of the best views of delhi in itās outdoor seating area!Must visit ššš»šÆ
Price are on the higher side but it's justified for the Ambience you get. Ambience is great, you can see lush green Delhi from window. It looks great. It's a well lit place. Coming to food, Lamb was great. I'll give 3.5 for food and 4.5 for Ambience and Service.
Amazing collection of cold cuts, cheese and exotic salad..Excellent grill comprising prawns, chorizo, tender melt in mouth mutton/ lamb chops, fish, chicken, cottage cheese,pineapple..cooked the way you want...and a host of pizza, pasta and soups...To wash it down you have champagne or you can choose your poison...we had martinis with fresh watermelon juice... amazingly refreshing!! An equally exhaustive selection of deserts ranging from caramel custard to cheese cakes, tarts and much more
Starters itself has one hell of a variety so was almost done by the time we headed for grills. Nice presentation and good old school service as is expected of Maurya. Needless to say grills were delicious. Salmon, lamb..you name it.
One of the best Italian food places I have ever been to, a great Chef is handling the place, his name is Massimo. The place is worth visiting, nice restaurant with good terrace views. Good service and Massimo ensures the authenticity of food. Delhi can be full of fakes, this one is original!!!
ottimo is an exclusive property where you can try best European and Italian food. i have tried few items in the sundy brunch and found it worthy few recommendation are Prawn, Pizza, Risotto, Salad, Lamb Chops, Tiramisu
in Desserts.
Ottimo is on the rooftop of ITC Maurya hotel and well worth a visit or two or three. We were staying for 3 nights at the hotel as part of out final leg of our Golden Triangle and 2 week family visit to India. By now we had our fair share of Indian food and it was time to indulge in something different. As an Italian it has a good solid classic menu and caters to adults and children very well. But when you combine the superb attention to detail, excellent staff and service, live music and a rooftop view over New Delhi all combine to make it a great experience and worth coming even if not staying at the hotel.
2 of us went for Sunday Brunch.
Limited food but each dish was just super delicious. Be it Burrata, Pasta, Grills, Risotto to their thin crust pizzas.
Service was good. Our server Mr Ajay was very cordial, professional and always available when needed.
Desserts per say were the highlight of our brunch with each one outstanding the previous one.
Views from the restaurant are super relaxing and calming. One can just gaze at the thick green Ridge forest for hours and not get over it.
If you want to take someone to a quieter place which focusses on good (yet limited) food in a fine dining ambience, this is the place.
It helps that they have GH Mumm in Champagne brunch.
Best place that I have ever celebrated my husbandās birthday.Manager Mr.Arun is very courteous & gave us special treatment. Very nice food, amazing ambience , superb service .A must visit place with your special onesšš
Amazing paired cuisine prepared with fragrances of #joyofbathing #fiamaIndia #essenzadiwills #cosmobloggersawards2018. Never thought would enjoy asparagus or beet in such an awesome prep
it's really difficult to find such green view in Delhi. but u get wat u wish for. It's a class apart. the one who desire for a romantic evening with special one. the
best good , the best wine, the best view Nd the best hospitality and ambiences. wat more one can ask more. Be there to find if m true to my words or not.

I visited here few month ago with my friends and I must admit This place is one of the best place that I ever visited in my life.Food taste was just awesome and Even the service was great.Delhi can be full of fakes, this one is original!
MARVELOUS PLACE accompanied with great LUXURIOUS dining of all time . One of my friend working in Chanakyapuri area got Ottimoās food vouchers on Christmas eve 2017 . Finally got the chance to be at this wonderful place . Though being a foodie & a food blogger , i do get chances to have taste in different places , but this experience was truly different and magnificent . We had dinner on the last day when the voucher is going to expire . All the things are is perfect & systematic way . Ottimo is delivering the best of cuisines present in NCR region .

3 ā Ballantines (21yr)
(Ā Blended from more than 50 single malts as well as 4 single grain whiskies. Ballantineās is a smooth, satisfyingly modern blend .)

2 āĀ gamberi imperiale alla livornese

!!CHEERS!!
The best Italian food in new delhi
To start with amazing bruschetta platter
Followed by stuffed pasta which was one of a kind
Followed by risotto made of asparagus
Followed by berry based desert
The chef mossino is the best he understands your need as we are pure vegetarian and don't eat garlic too
Had dinner here a while ago. Great ambience with cosy seating on the rooftop of the main section at the ITC Maurya, makes Ottimo a great fine dining experience.
We ordered entree beginning with soup (was brilliant), the kid had the margerita thin crust pizza made in a gas fired oven. The pasta was ordered but we asked the hotel dāmaitre to change the sauce to white. It was wonderfully cooked and was cheesy and Creamy!
The main course was pork belly. Bingo! This was the signature dish of the evening. Fantastically succulent pork belly pieces slow baked and cooked medium done; it was one helluva dish!
The server was kind enough to offer us sweet dishes one a chocolate brƻlƩe and the other was a fruit based soufflƩ.
Service was top notch; great dining experience!
Beautiful place , nice food and great service . Celebrated my birthday here . It was an amazing night . The cake was really tasty as well . Definitely will recommend this place for a romantic and quiet dinner .
You are bound to have an amazing experience at ottimo! The ambience is breathtaking. We chose the rooftop balcony seating and we were braced with great weather and fascinating views.
We ordered a bruschetta and pizza. The pizza was delectable and crisp. However, the bruschetta could be improved upon. Same could be said for the sauces they serve with their breads.
Before we could order deserts, we were served with a mouthwatering chocolate cake from the restaurant's side which instantly melted in our mouths. If you're here, trying their desserts is a must!
Also, this review would be incomplete without mentioning their commendable service. The extremely polite servers took such good care of us while also making sure not to disturb us in meals.
Would definitely visit again!
Roof top wine session with round of roasted nuts and oven baked pizzas was awesome. In the 5 course meal, I loved the Salad but not the soup which was little too sweet. Risotto & pasta was great. Best part was the tiramisu, I think the best I ever had. Overall loved the visit to Ottimo.
I had chance to eat at this restaurant, food was quite nice but there is scope of improvement for a restaurant like Ottimo. Service was excellent but some of the food items could have been better.
In a simple sentence they have conquered and won their hand at Taste, Service and Ambience.
Excellent hospitality though soups were not good
Awesome food grt service lovely atmosphere we have been there we really enjoyed. .with everything. .its too far better then other fine dining restaurant they have provided us fantastic service ..i really appreciated. .those people's thnx team keep it up
This place exceeded my expectation is terms of ambiance. The stunning rooftop is perfect for celebrations and intimate dinners. The staff was extremely friendly.Ā
I had gone along with a friend and enjoyed every course that was served to us. The seafood broth, the octopus salad, the mains, tiramisu and the citrus lemon mousse were flavorful and beyond excellence.Ā
Looking forward to another delicious meal at Ottimo very soon.
For a goodie like me who's always on the lookout for better fine dining options in the city, I was pleasantly surprised to find this little jewel tucked away in the good haven that is ITC Maurya, all courtesy an old and dear friend.
Ottimo boasts of Italian and Continental cuisine and has a distinct decor and feel to it. We started with a customised bruschetta (since the staff was very helpful and chatty) topped with mascarpone cheese and wild rocket, it was flavourful but slightly bland, but since it was my concoction I went with it. Lamb lover that I am, the Lamb Chops were the obvious choice for main course, I prefer my lamb chops grilled medium- well done and topped with pepper sauce or red wine jus. These were not quite this. They were deep fried lamb chops with brown sauce on a bed of mash. Equally tasty though I still would have preferred grilled and not deep fried. The meal went well with our drink of choice - Hoegaarden beer- a refreshing change from my usual wine.
The cherry on this delicious cake of a meal was the Tiramisu accompanied by orange sorbet, the first bite transported us to a flavourful seduction and we were but helpless and gobbled away quietly for the next 5 minutes. The handmade chocolates that came with the tiramisu were our little bonus!
So the next time you feel like pampering yourself a bit or go for a nice cosy meal, pick this place - it won't disappoint.
I was meeting my best friend after a long time and this called for a celebration dinner , hence we chose Ottimo to spend our evening there.
Ottimo , having a picturesque rooftop and stunning , classy dƩcor is as fine an Italian restaurant as it gets . So , we settled ourselves on the rooftop and while we were enjoying the pleasant, breezy weather , our waiter arrived with the Food and wine menu , and the complimentary lovely Italian breads .
We ordered our dessert after that ,one of my favourite Italian desserts , Tiramisu. When I looked at and tasted Tiramisu , I felt elated , relieved and glad as I hadn't tasted an authentic Tiramisu in India for a long time. It was as delectable and sinful as you can expect , relished each bite of it.
Chef Massimo was kind enough to come up again and ask us if we enjoyed our dessert , knowing that we really loved the Tiramisu , he sent us another dessert , Panna cotta as a compliment from the restaurant. It was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture from him that we were extremely pleased and excited to eat it. The Panna cotta though , blew us away with its taste , authenticity , and creativity . I have never had such an amazing Panna cotta in my life. On the bed of delectable , soft Panna cotta , there were mango and cherry puree with drops of basil puree here and there . Sinful , delectable , creatively unique and so refreshing.
Ottimo is a fine Italian restaurant which makes your visit memorable with its service and ambience , and Chef Massimo with his magical and creative touch , makes each penny worth it.
Thank you Chef Massimo , Himanshu and Ottimo for making our evening memorable . Must visit for all the lovers of authentic , delicious Italian cuisine.
Must try : The Desserts , Tiramisu and Panna cotta (especially ) and Ravioli .
Special occasions demand celebration at a grand/special venue hence Ottimo was the place chosen for my wedding anniversary dinner.
We opted for the buffet instead of a la carte menu.Ā
Started of with Anti Pasti-
To be honest i'm not a big fan of cold meat cuts but decided to take a leap of faith.
My courage was rewarded in a big way as the cold cuts turned out to be one of the highlights.
Prawns and Salmon were fresh and delicious, no fishy taste at all . Yum. Highly recommended.Ā
Second course was Soup & we chose to go with Chicken Minestrone Soup- At times we wonder if it's the right choice to pay huge amount of money for a meal & then comes along a brilliant concoction like the aforementioned soup laying to rest and allaying the fear of wasting hard earned money. Warm, thick, flavorful and full of beautiful veggies and some chicken. Brilliant. A must try item.
Third course was a choice between Pasta & Risotto-
I chose Duck Risotto which was hands down the best risotto ever, full of juicy duck meat and rice cooked to perfect consistency. I am drooling just thinking about it now. My wife however chose to go for double stuffed ravioli with wild mushrooms and it was a big disappointment. Plain average in terms of flavor.
For the main course we got a variety of grilled meat & seafood presented to us at the table after choosing it from a huge selection at buffet display section. Lamb,Salmon,John Dory & BBQ chicken were all very good.
This amount of meat and seafood can give your vegetarian companion a mild heart attack & it also has a very good chance of killing your appetite if you are not a big eater.
Service was exemplary and we were even presented a delicious chocolate cake.
Heavy on pocket and high on flavor, if this combination works for you then Ottimo would be worth your time.
Gud plce to njoy with ppl n drinks w nice ambnce.
Jk don't be aloofed by a response like that.
The decor at Ottimo has a really interesting contemporary Italian feel to it.It also has an overlooking not so aesthetic view of Delhi, so I suggest have a seat inside.
What are Italian restaurants without complimentary breads?,so I was obviously given some.
They were baked to perfection and accompanied with sun dried tomatoes and the pesto which worked pretty well.
Next came in the selection of cheeses and olives.
The cheeses which came were all the standard ones like Gruyere,Parmesan etc but there was this one cheese which stood out,the Tom and Jerry cheese also known as Emmental!
In our country it's a trend to follow the clichƩd and we often stop ourselves from experimenting due to the fear of the unknown(enough uncle talk lol)
This is even reflective in our food choices.
So for starters I tried an octopus salad which was told to me shouldn't be tried because people don't try it.I tried it and the octopus was not chewy at all but the vinegarette accompanied with the potatoes didn't complement the octopus too much.Nevertheless the fault was not in the octopus so you can give it a shot definitely.
Next I called for some Minnestrone soup which is a staple soup from the land.It was made in quite the rustic way and full marks on getting the flavours bang on.
After that I decided to try something hearty for the mains so I went in with the lamb chops accompanied with a saffron risotto and a red wine reduction with a tang of citrus.
What better can you ask than the lamb falling off the boneš and the rice cooked to an al dentĆ© consistency without missing out on the delicate touch of saffron.
It's one of their specialties and shouldn't be missed.
Also they asked me if it was an occasion I was celebrating and I told them it's my sisters bday in a couple of days.
So they very sneakily got in a piece paper and told me to write her name.
After a few mins they got in a beautiful cake with liquid nitrogen which made my sister happy and I appreciate them for this heartwarming impromptu gesture.
To follow I was treated to a dessert which I still can't pronounce(wasn't tiramisu). It had a chocolate mousse accompanied with honey and ricotta.Done decently but nothing to blow your socks off.
All in all this restaurant coupled with the attentive staff is a nice place to make you feel as if you took a couple of trains in Italy and reached a tiny village with the grandmas cooking some soul food.
Have a good time,cheersš„
Nice Ambience, good service & excellent food. Was a great overall experience. The Pizzas were very nice. The grill meats were well done. The wine selection and pairing with food was good. The deserts to finish were really yum. Loved the experience.
Best meal ever and the key to the best meal ever was Sandeep at ottimo! Very attentive, great service and excellent food recommendations. Had the meal plan which comprised soup, a salad, antipasti (the prawn was excellent), a pasta / risotto, a main and dessert. The grills are particularly good - the rosemary lamb chops and the pork sausages.
Great experience .. very humble staff and good ambience ! The restaurant has a good view and a must visit especially during winters ! The food is good ! But the restaurant wins a 10 on 10 for hospitality !
In Ottimo I had one of my best dinner in all New Delhi. A young but talented chef from Italy came to great me on my arrival. I fully trusted him and asked to give me his best specialties. I did the right thing!!! His version of Eggplant Parmigiana as starter presented in a modern style it was sublime! Homemade ravioli and cod fish as mains were excellent and the tiramisu was a very good choice to end this fantastic dinner experience.
The food at Ottimo was fantastic and the ambience was beautiful. The parma ham pizza, the duck risotto and the john dory fish were my favourites. But it was their service, empathy and attentiveness that was beyond measure. Our family went there to celebrate my huband's promotion (Dinner, Jan 2017) - along with our 2 infants and aged grandmother - and the staff made sure everyone got comfortable seating and food appropriate to their palete. They also surprised us by bringing a "Congratulations" cake as well as complimentary "stratwberry kamikaze" shots to celebrate the occassion!
Exceptional service and superb food - I can't wait to go back!
Well this is the place to live life. Amazing food. The desert collection just rocks. The outside seating gives you a great view of the Ridge Road and chanakya puri. Enjoy a great evening with a champagne
I am in love with this restaurant because of outdoor seating and beautiful interiors. Ā Its a great, relaxed place to visit in winters. We went for Sunday brunch, food was very good I loved their gnocchi, tortellini, pizza - in fact everything. They also have very good option for grills, cheese platter and salads. What didn't impress me were the dessert, they were ok. But i was so stuffed by the time I reached dessert, that may be I was not in the mood.
I was looking for an authentic Italian cuisine and was suggested Ottimmo at Maurya. I went with my friends on 5th and was delighted with the Ambience. Steward help us select the wine and recommendation was excellent. After understanding the choice of food, he also recommended what best can be served. Pasta was cooked to perfection and so was Risotto. Must mention that it was delicious. We were served with platter containing different deserts It was a personal touch in each and every step which made visit memorable.
Close to authentic Italian food. Nice views of Delhi and the Ridge. Starters, mains, desserts all good. Bruschetta, Burrata cheese, lamb on risotto, slow chicken Highly recommended! Tiramisu a must try.
"The" place for Sunday brunch! You either have to be doing very well in life or you have to have a generous family who love you to indulge in a place like this..in my case it is the latter! Excellent ambience..with a view to the green belt of Delhi.. and live music thrown in.. Getting to food...they have everything and more than you could imagine!! An equally exhaustive selection of deserts ranging from caramel custard to cheese cakes, tarts and much more. All in all, a,once in a lifetime experience that tickles all taste buds ..and leaves you gasping for more. We were lucky to have a person like Mridul who made it all the more special by giving suggestions and recommendations that made the experience more enriching!!
The service was absolutely amazing. They were friendly and awake for everything, helping anyway they can. The food was delicious, one of the best risotto and pizza. And the desert was delicious. I could only recommend it.Ā
The view is spectacular.
Still the best Delhi has to offer. MaƮtre d' Arun did a fine job. Ottimo is an exquisite addition to West View. Can't fault the selection of wines to the fresh meats and seafood. Kudos.
This is a late review but this is by far my best outdoor eating experience. I went there on my birthday almost two yrs back.
We took mains and desserts buffet option and it has by far been the best assorted -grills-on-a- plate that i have tasted.
The live grill is actually A Live Grill like what is very common in european countries.
gorgeous grills!!
Since it was a birthday reservation the waiters made sure me n my husband enjoy every bit of it and that we were comfortable throughout. Since it was winters we chose to sit outside, it was well decorated and one could get a pleasant view from the top.
The service was top notch then and i hope this time when i go again i will not be disappointed!
Had a great time. The food was delicious but the buffet can be improved. The decor was lovely and the staff was friendly. The terrace view was beautiful at night although they should fumigate the outdoor area, specially in this monsoon season.
I can't understand why West View is not always packed to the gills.
The food is excellent, the service is superb...and the ambience is so relaxing.
There's a food island for hors de oeuvres...a buffet isle for varieties of olives, cheese, breads, pickled vegetables, cured meats, (at times, a lovely Iberian ham), cold cuts, salads and cold seafood.Ā
Frankly, the idea is to NOT stuff your face with these, or the tempting choice of soup and pasta they will bring to your table. I wait for the Grill Kitchen, because that is the Star.Ā
Choose your meats and seafood...lobster, varieties of fresh fish, chicken, the local lamb chop (tastier than the fatter, New Zealand version), prawns, pork and chicken sausages, et al. The chef will cook these with your choice of sauce and level of grill...as well as superb recommendations from the kitchen. Add to these, sides of corn on the cob and jacket potatoes baked with chives and sour cream...and you're sorted.
What if you're vegetarian?
Don't bother to come here.
But if you must...then the pastas ARE very good, and there is a choice of polenta, skewered vegetables, camembert wrapped in banana leaves, cottage cheese...and of course the corn and potatoes. But frankly, the non vegetarian grills are so good that you feel like you're getting the Sides. You can always make up with the superb desserts...which are plenty, and on a trolley...though chances are that you are too stuffed by now.
It's a great place for a dinner date or romantic occasion, because the ambience is nice, and the live music, superb.
An experience worth sharing compels me to write my first ever review. Let me start with the ambience - magical on the terrace with a lovely view and a relaxing water cascade fall. This was complemented with some awesome food. The whole experience was enhanced by the superb hospitality of the manager Mr Arun jain and impeccable service of Mr Mukul. This evening was made memorable by their special efforts and much appreciated by our business associates from Spain. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
First of all lavish ambience, obviously it's the Maurya!! Even better service!! So no complains at all there.
Coming to the food- there is a buffet for 3500 per person which doesn't have much to offer for vegetarians but pretty good for non vegetarians! You. Can also order ala carte! Mostly Italian! But good food! Lot of variety when it comes to wine! Bill for two including wines was 10 grands!
The staff was friendly although nothing can best the staff at Dum Pukht and Bukhara- maybe it's my biased opinion. The chef was enthusiastic and gave us suggestions according to our food habits which he asked us for. The scallops from the antipasti were delicious with a beautiful balance that was struck between the different flab our and textures. The prawn salad and the Parma ham with melon for antipasti were delicious too. For mains, the lobster linguini I had was decent but the butter and anchovy tossed tortellini and the Wild mushroom, ricotta and truffle ravioli stole the show. Gelato was not good, left a chalky taste in the mouth. The mouse of the chocolate and caramel mouse was delicious but the name of the dish was misleading as one couldn't taste any caramel and perhaps the cheese or Mascarpone that was served with it wasn't able to balance the sweetness of the mouse but overpowered the sweetness with a creamy salty taste. Overall good experience but poor dessert. Should have tried the pana cotta, have heard it is flawless!

Italian Master Chef Greco Vittorio may not be a name that Delhi is familiar with yet, having thus far earned his chops successfully establishing ITC Hotelās brand of Italian restaurants āOttimoā in their Chennai and Bangalore properties . Chef is now set to stake his claim to be counted amongst the Capitalās galaxy of culinary stars with the debut of the brand at the ITC Maurya West View.
While West View continues to wow Delhi with itās fine European cuisine including their much loved grill , the flavours of Ottimo has been introduced to the menu to give diners the enhanced experience of contemporary Italian cuisine which Chef Vittorio brings to the table .
Sr Executive Chef Manisha Bhasin proudly walked us through the the restaurant which now wears a completely new look... Yellow hues play around the ceiling lending a bright positive vibe to the countryside feel.. Standing right in the centre, above the Ottimo Square, the Chandelier though, remains the highlight of this outstanding restaurant decor , incidentally they have some fabulous pottery too - but lets get talking about the food ā¦
Parmigiana Rivisiata Con Olio Carbone set the benchmark high - overlapping ā sheets ā of aubergine, Parmesan Mousse , Parmesan Chips. Bruschetta Ottima - fresh buffalo Mozzarella with Plum Tomatoes and Truffle oil.
Scallops layered with Pecorino Cheese , Black Truffle and Garlic Foam was the star of the starters , would happily make a meal out of it . Another talking point was an outstanding Jerusalem Artichoke Soup with Dark Chocolate and a deep layer of Gorgonzola Chees - this was like WOW -flavors hit you from all directions !
Lets talk pasta ! Delicious Double Stuffed Ravioli - Wild Mushrooms , Ricotta and Truffle in Parmesan Water was another must order on my list and a close second to a stunning Butter and Anchovy Tortilla tossed is Cauliflower Cream - yup you read correct - a stunning Cauliflower Cream ā¦ This dish is a must must experience .We ended our meal with the ultimate Slow Cooked Pork Belly which you see in the video here , we are now talking seriously great stuff.
In short, great hospitality and amazing experience.
When I was told that the West View was being re-invented as Ottimo at WestView, I was surprised. I mean, like how can you better the best and why? But I had had the food at Ottimo in Chennai and heard about the Bangalore Ottimo so was quite looking forward to it when I went there for dinner on Monday.
The newly renovated restaurant looked great. Redesigned to look like a countryside restaurant in Italy, the restaurant had a very playful feel to it. Dominating the ceiling, the Chandelier though still remains the highlight of this restaurant decor, with a huge community table just below it. There was some outdoor seating as well, which could well be the place to be, once the weather improves.
Headed by Chef Vittorio, who's been brought in from Bangalore, Ottimo at West View is all set to change the way this city eats Italian.Ā
We started with Parmigiana Rivisiata Con Olio Carbone which set the standards so high that I was sure that the rest of the dishes would have a tough time keeping up. The other starters - Bruschetta Ottima - fresh buffalo Mozzarella with Plum Tomatoes and Truffle oil, and Scallops layered with Pecorino Cheese , Black Truffle and Garlic Foam, just kept raising the bar. Then followed the artichoke soup with dark chocolate and gorgonzola cheese which was nothing like anything I had ever tasted - ever. Help me but I'm running out of superlatives here. The main course - the slow cooked pork belly yet another winner.Ā
And I've officially run out of superlatives, so I will desist from talking about the desserts, but go there and try them out for yourselves. As the Italians say - La dolce vita!
If you're a fan of grilled food, this is just the right place for you. They have a lovely buffet followed by an amazing selection of desserts.
Had a lovely experience here. Ambience is too good!
It's a great place for a special evening. Interesting concept, exceptional service and great ambiance.
The restaurant offers a fixed four course meal. The first course is anti pasta - they have a huge selection that includes salads, prawns, meats, fancy vege combos, breads and cheeses. I tried the prawn - nice, the lamb - tasty and tender. They bring garlic bread to the table - it's really good! The second course is soup - one veg and one non veg, served to the table per your choice. I had the chicken and thyme - good. The third course is where it gets interesting. They have a selection of veges (including corn on the cob, aubergine, baby potatoes on a skewer, cottage cheese - to name a few), and marinated non veg (braukverst, pork chops, lamb chops, garlic prawns, chicken on skewers, multiple types of fish - to name a few). You pick what you like. Based on your suggestion, they recommend the range of sauces and then they grill it live for you. They also offer a choice of jacket potato, mash potato, green salad or pasta as a side. The final product is yummy! The last course is dessert, they offer a selection. We tried the nut tart with caramel and ice cream (good), passion fruit dessert (I forget what it was called) and chocolate fondue (flooded my plate! Beautifully prepared, taste was ok)
I have been here a few times, its great. This place was like away from the delhi traffic , its a place to relax and enjoy life The ambience was like the western palace, I loved the outdoor seating . I have seen live grills in many restros but I have never found this kind of taste anywhere else. The buffet was good. I dont think that anyone would have any complaint with restro. The dessert was delicious, the food was also good. The presentation of food was good and the salads were also quite awesome. The place is better for non vegetarians. In last I wanted to meet the chef to complement him but ii skipped out of my mind. Any way this place is Highly recommended and do inform the restro in advance and book a table outside.
Picturesque seating on the 8th floor overlooking a ridge, Victorian country decor, amazing selection of grilled meat & seafood from around the world served on a bed of lava rock, best anti pasti you'll find in the city, a mind boggling list of wine, Peter weaving his magic with live music, what more can you ask for?
I have been here thrice and would go a hundred more times. I love the service, the ambiance, the food and everything else there is to this place. I would like to describe a particular anniversary celebration here.
We had reserved a table in advance and told them of the occasion. I am a vegetarian and a fussy eater and they made sure that even if what I wanted wasn't on the grill menu, I still got it. And the taste, oh my god, I can't get over the food here. They made spaghetti for me which i Loved. They recommended white wine which was fabulous. Their wine selection is out of the world!
When it came to the dessert, we ordered a sundae and not what was the special dessert of the place. Guess what? We got it on the house because they really wanted us to try it. Another Ā gesture, which was so great.
At the end the staff got us a cake which was to die for. It was an ice cream cake again on the house.
There is a reason we love this hotel. We might have to spend a lot of money but they ensure that we have a great time. The service is so great that no matter what the cost, you want to go back again and again and trust me. I won't ever stop going to this place.
I love the outdoor seating. live grill is pretty awesome..do visit and try their salmon and lamb..i somehow like limited small menus, mostly places with smaller menus have better food..this place has limited stuff but whatever they serve is pretty nice..
I had gone to West View at ITC, for their 'Great Mauryan Sunday' brunch on my Birthday a couple of days back. At the time of making reservation I conveyed to them the occasion and they responded that "they'll take care of it". (This made me a little excited).
Arriving here we were given the table besides the window which I guess had the best view from it. I have never seen the Ridge this way. It looked "not so Delhi" and was beautifull.
The chef came to our seat and then spread a mat that read various cute Happy Birthday quotes.
We started with antipasti- which included various salads and meet cuts. It was so delicious that I went for a round two instantly.
Going forward to the grills section which had fruits, veg meats and sea food, we asked the chef to prepare us one of everything. The prawns and salmon were my favourite.
As we went with the alchohol package I tried their Sangria, martinis and cosmopolitan. The drinks were a spot on. Also the Latte coffee I asked for was delicious.
Their desserts had a decent spread, but a bit more variety can be added. I enjoyed freshly made waffles and tiramisu the most.
Ending our West View journey, our server got me an on the house chocolate cake and singer Peter, even sang to wish me. I really enjoyed all this pampering and kudos to the West View team for providing such hospitality to us and an experience to remember :)
Has gone there for my anniversary dinner, though the open air area was under construction and could enjoy the amazing view, overall was very happy with the food and the service. The staff made sure we were well taken care off and they made it special in every way possible. The food was amazing and the Australian lamb was out of the world good.
I was here for my Birthday dinner and I absolutely loved the view and it was quiet so great conversational environment. I personally enjoyed their salad bar and the lamb chops rest my hubby flipped on their grills so in all o was happy to be here. The desert that was served was lip smacking.
This has to be my favourite restaurant hands down at the Maurya Sheraton..
Have dined there on four occasions.. If you are seat lover and love Grilled food. This is a 'must visit' place..
The concept is fairly simple..
Soup on the table.. Followed by starters and cheeses which are placed on a table at the center..
While you help yourself with the starters, you could head down to the grill section which has on display various varieties and cuts of Meats, fish and poultry. Some marinated and other the Grill chef will help you chose a marinade.
My favourites..
Lamb Chops
T bone, and most other beef cuts
Lobster
Jumbo Prawns
The Grills are served when done at your table.
Weather permitting. I suggest you chose an outdoor table.. I was lucky to dine on a full moon night which was relatively cool prewinter time in Delhi.. It was fabulous overlooking a lush green forest cover.
They have a decent wine list.
The experience isn't very cheap though.
Inclusive of the wine I remember it being about 5 to 6 k per head.
Amazing Salads & Sumptuous Grill Treats on a rooftop location overlooking the Delhi Ridge...
Fantastic Selection of Salads...
An open kitchen, serving the food in your choice of marination, exotically grilled to perfection...
Drool worthy Desserts, that tempt you to engage in the sinful eating and put an end all the thoughts about watching weight...
Impeccable Service, something that's synonymous with Brand ITC...
Memorable evening spent, in conversation and laughter...Many more to come.
Decent service. Good food, not a big variety to choose from but did fulfill my beef cravings for the night. Awesome deserts though I am not a fan of those.

I couldn't take much pictures and videos as I was here for my near cousins wedding lunch.
The food was awesome and perfectly presented.
The head chef here Mr. Sharma seem to know the girl's family, hence the awesome food and great presentation.
It's a food of a kind with a very good ambience. They have a small wall fountain outside and nicely decorated shrubs which eventually is the reason of cool breeze.
Thereās nothing more romantic than a Date night at ITC Maurya, New Delhi with the perfect pizza and a crisp glass of wine!

š Also, we happened to meet David Warner and Shane Watson just next to our table.
A roof top restaurant of ITC Maurya with great views having option of both indoor and outdoor dining. The restaurant offers some of the best brunch during weekends. The food is delicious and staff very helpful and courteous. We had also tried their pizza and pasta which was delicious and reasonably priced. Excellent place for dining.
The rooftop of ITC maurya wont disappoint. The resturant has a nice soothing and rustic ambience, food is a party in your mouth. There is a special attention to detail and presentation. The portion size is just ok not too small nor too big.
The place has a great collection of wines to cater to all your needs, cocktail menu is small but they taste great.
We had non vegg platter which was good, pork belly and chicken in mains. Pork belly with apple reduction is a must have.
A definite recommendation for your date nights or special days.
Loved the European ambience, food is just fantastic..limited booking daily..pre-book before you go..I think it starts at 1PM till 6PM. You can take the buffet package and can just sit there whole time enjoying drinks, music and food. The view from the terrace is just great.
Lovely evening. Book ahead for an outside seating. Open only in evenings. Wheelchair access right from the lobby. Great view of the ridge, nice staff and service.
Ask for Mukul, very sharp and attentive person in the team. Good choices for the food and wines. Take his recommendation as well.
Grilled chicken with mushroom sauce and fries on the side was very good. Bruschetta is also great choice for the small bites.
They did a complementary cake as well for the birthday celebrations, much appreciated Mukul.
Great food, great ambience. Ordered the classic Tutta Verdure and Rissoto Fungi. Mr Pradeep is a great host.
