Do we need to review it.. I think we cant do that.
They sets a bar in the luxury fine dining. Silver cutlery. Personal Butler. OMG. Thats all you can ask for with ITC. Great Food. GREAT Ambience.
Dum-Pukht is the place to be if you want to enjoy a lavish mughlai dinner in one of the best properties in Delhi.
Due to the popularity of Bukhara which is located in the same hotel itself, Dum-Pukht quite does not gets the attention it deserves.
Dum-Pukht means to let the dish breathe in its own flavour for an ample amount of time to make it more delicious.
For me, Dum-Pukht is better than bukhara as it offers way more variety, regal ambience, and lip smacking kebabs and biryani.
The must haves in my opinion are:
1. Dum-Pukht Biryani
2. Murgh Chandi Tikka
3. Seekh Gilafi
4. Kakori Kebab
5. Warqi Paratha
If you do not mind the exorbitant pricing, which is around 5000 for 2 then this is a must visit restaurant.
Service by the staff is mind-blowing, you wouldn't even expect anything less than that anyway from ITC.
This place gives you a real sense of luxury dining experience. We ordered Biryani and the chef specially came to present it and explained about it. The biryani was awesome. The ambience is very good but the food was quite expensive. Overall experience was very good .
Wonderful service by waiters. Especially Mr. Shivsagar. Nice ambience, music and evtg.
Lovely meal with wonderful hospitality. The kebabs were mind blowing!
If you are looking for a a nawabi experience, then this is the place you can go. The place of a variety of nawabi cuisines. AMBIANCE the ambience of the place is very royal. It reminds you of royal dinner hall with all those shiner cutleries and glasses, carpet floors and service and managers dressed in nawabi attire. FOOD if you are a non vegetarian this is a must. The kebab are good, I would recommend dudhiya kebab for all the vegetarians followed by dum biryani and you can always go for assorted breads. SERVICE service is on the slower side here after ordering a minimum waiting time of 35 minutes can be expected. The staff is decent and well behaved. VALUE FOR MONEY
Well when you go to a five star restaurant value for money is always on the higher side but it always comes down to what the food offers and the experience that matters and in both ways the restaurant was able to provide a good experience. Also the restaurant has been awarded quite a few awards.
Food 🍽️- 8.0

Had an amazing meal ... our server Girish took really good care of us. Staff is attentive and has in-depth knowledge of cuisine. They are maintaining their culinary legacy and proudly serving their Patrons.
What more do you say about an award winning restaurant that is always popular and serves some of the best Indian Awadhi cuisine? On my third visit after several years to Dum Pukht with my family, I was happy to find that they continue to excel. The non veg dishes, including lamb are always melt-in-the-mouth tender. I'll be returning soon - for the great food, the ambience of relaxed informality including the live piano and the prompt and courteous service. A special thanks to Naveen Prakash for the attention and food suggestions. What we're sure to repeat next time? The Dum Pukht Biryani, Shahi Nehari, Murg Qorma, Habibia Chops and the Chandi Tikka. Would prefer if the Khamiri Rotis are a little larger.
A beautiful fine dining place located in ITC Maurya hotel in Delhi. The ambiance is classy. They serve Mughlai and North Indian food. The options for vegetarians are also good. Kebabs are so tasty and main course is also very good. The music and service all make it a great dining experience. Nice place to go with family.
What an amazing place it is. The restaurants that have maintained the quality and taste of body electorate throughout the decades and ages that have enjoyed the sustenance here. Besides the sustenance, the feeling is actually so satisfying! I had a great time enjoying Guchhi Subz E Zar and Dudhiya kabab. Learning has been extremely great in general.
It is a must visit place..cuisine is very different from the regular stuff...though prices are high but the taste justifies it...staff is very polite and service is great..One should visit there for a royal experience...also their warqi parantha is a must try...
Old traditional way of presentation which is very exotic 🤩
By far one of the best mughlai food i have tasted! The galouti kebab just melts in your mouth and pairs perfectly well with the slightly sweet ulte tawa ka paratha. For mains , you must try either the mutton nihari with naan or the mutton dum Biryani! Both are finger licking good. I have been here 6 times, and it's a ritual to celebrate either of my parent's birthday here.
It being my father’s birthday, it was the special occasion for me and my family and warm hospitality by ITC made it even more special. The food was yummy, especially paneer kulcha and dal makhni.
Phirni was super tasty. Our stomach was full but we wanted to have more and more of it. Mind blowing in taste and also in presentation.
Shorba Purbahar was good in taste too.
The Restaurants that have kept up body electorate in quality and taste throughout the decades and ages that have appreciated the sustenance here. What a stunning spot it is! The feel is simply so fulfilling in addition to the sustenance moreover! I enjoyed Guchhi Subz E Zar and Dudhiya kabab to an extreme. In general experience was extremely great. The mood is complimenting with cooking offered .Has a wide assortment of liquor offered . An absolute necessity go after all oven sweethearts.
Dumpukht and Bukhara are the most elite of our Indian food. The feel is simply so fulfilling in addition to the sustenance also! The nourishment here is generally excellent. The staff here is extraordinary and the nourishment was of incredible quality.Biryani is the delicacy of this restaurant. The mood is complimenting with food offered .Has a wide assortment of liquor advertised.
The food was authentic and tasty. It has innovative cocktails as well. Service was attentive.
It’s undoubtedly the best restaurant in town for Mughlai food. The ambience and service both are impeccable. Team Dum-Pukht remains unmatched in hospitality. Special thanks to Mr.Kocchar and Mr.Naveen Arora for making the dining experience so special for us.
I went to this restaurant to celebrate my Birthday, As our family is vegetarian so we ordered only veg dishes. I liked Guchhi Subz E Zar and Dudhiya kabab too much. Overall experience was very very good only issue was they asked me if I am coming for any special occasion so they told me cake will be complementary for my birthday from their end but it didn't came 🤔
Dum-Pukht restaurant is the very definition of fine dining.
The silver and blue theme..along with live piano and table juggalbandi will take you back to 80s
When there.. must try their Kohae Awadh, a mughlai #lamb delicacy along with a Warqi Parantha. I have never tasted a lamb curry as good as this, the lamb was so juicy that it simply slipped from the bones.
Another must-try would be their Biryani. Cooked in authentic Dum style.
Dumpukht and Bukhara are the best of the best of our Indian food. restaurants that have maintained constituency in quality and taste over the decades and generations that have enjoyed the food here .
The dal makhani, the harra kebabs for vegetarians and the kakori kebabs for the non vegetarians with the dum Biryani have no match .
Indeed a culinary delight !
What an amazing place it is! The ambience is just so satisfying plus the food also! The food over here is very rich (in terms of ingredients) I’ve been here many times and Kakori kebab + mutton dum biryani is my all time favourite!
A place which offers plethora of aroma and flavor. I was highly recommended To have Kakori Kebab and Goochi Pulav! I must say that the kind of kakori kebab they served was Not only outstanding and heavenly but unmatched to any kebab I hav ever had. And So was the Pulav. The other items like murg Handi quorma was also the highlight of the day! The best part that not a single item had an iota of chewiness. The Habibi chops were also good but not as good as the rest. Last but not the least the hospitality was outstanding, Mohit and Rawat were just the right people to ensure our finest experience to it.
One of the all time favourites of mine in Delhi. Personally, I rate this as better than Bukhara :-)). Ambience, service and food is simply awesome. The food menu is elaborate and offers unique dishes of "Oudh/Awadh" era. Every dish is awesome but still would recommend Sabz Parda, Gucchi and Warqi Paratha as must have (sorry being a vegetarian will not comment of non veg though that must be awesome I am sure).
Went there for Nth time recently when my son threw a treat for his parents and we thouroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality.
A must go place in Delhi.
My son misses the 'Badam Shorba' that used to be on the menu earlier.
I want to start with the table reservation story!
I booked the table for 8:30pm on 27th April 2019 via zomato, got the confirmation that my table has been booked. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I get to know that no such reservation has been made as the hotel cancels all the reservations post 8pm.
It was something unacceptable as I booked the table for my parents (it was their silver jubilee celebration dinner) and they had to wait for half an hour to get the table. So, a bad start to the evening.
Coming to the food part
The food was exemplary, it had proper spices, taste and the quantity was very good.
The staff was extremely courteous and served with a smile.
The ambiance was perfect with live music being played, it set up the tone for the evening.
Food : 5/5
Ambiance : 5/5
Staff : 5/5
Table booking can definitely improve. Otherwise I'm definitely visiting the place again and recommending the same!
Cheers 🥂
The best place to have awadhi cuisine .. The staff here is great and the food was of great quality . Biryani is the delicacy of this restaurant . The ambience is complimenting with cuisine offered .Has a wide variety of alcohol offered . A must try for all tandoor lovers
One of the premier North Indian restaurants in Delhi, Dum Pukht opened its doorway back in 1988 and has been offering the same taste and flavours that linger long after as a beautiful memory. Dum Pukht has been known for reviving India’s royal culinary traditions: From the courts of Awadh to Kashmir. They use the ancient method of dum-style of cooking. ‘Dum’ means to breathe in and ‘Pukht’ means to cook.Awesome place!!!
Visited this place on a special day. Chicken shorba was so rich in taste. Had all flavours blended in.
Their mutton biryani and kakori kebab are mandatory to have. Dum pukht is known for its biryani since ages and it tastes good. Don’t expect any masala in biryani and its only rice and well cooked mutton pieces.
Its unusual taste makes it even more better
The food is outstanding and the service special. The kakori kababs are unbelievable. Though the prices are stiff it is a once in a lifetime experience and therefore highly recommended
This place is brilliant brilliant for the Dal Makhani with tara naan waooo yemmy Timater ka shorba, Harabhara Kabab,Dum k aalo, was so yemmy staff is good along with Restaurants manager hope fully enjoye Dessert gulab ki khere and Keser ki Firni was so tasty nice music occupied place with nice crowd 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Tastiest food i ve ever eaten .. the biryani is full of aromas n the malai kofta was super duper tasty 😋 .. the server did all he can just to make our stay beautiful
We tried the mixed vegetable, tomato soup, kadhai paneer, baingan ka salan, dal makhni and dum biryani. Every single dish was delightful to say the least. I have never been a fan of vegetarian food while eating out (cliche). But this was an experience. It changed my perspective towards veg cusine. Every dish was made in pure ghee. And yes i could smell it. The mix veg was covered with pastry crust which was tastier than roti/parantha. The dal makhni was super smooth. The baingan salan had egg plant and fat stuffed chillies. And this dish was not overtly spicy hot as one would expect. It was just the right amount of kick.
Dum Pukht... A perfect place for fine dinning!!I have been there couple of tym !!!The moment you enter you will fall in love with the ambiance..rich & beautifull!!!The food is jst awsum espically Biryani.😋!!service is excellent... Altogether you will have an awsum experience!!!
There are very few restaurants that can prepare food with as much love. This is a real fine dine experience. Kids below 10 are not allowed, and guests in shorts or slippers are not allowed as well. It opens only in the evenings. ITC Maurya is best known for their their hospitality, so there is nothing new I can add thus jumping right into the food:
Shorba Shahi Pasand (chiken soup)- Amazing clear soup and what an after taste. A must try.
Dumpukht Kakori (Mutton Seekh Kebab) - this is heavenly, nothing less. Its softer than butter and what a taste. In my entire food journey across the world, I haven't eaten anything that compete this.
Shahi Nalli with Warqui paratha: Amazing gravy and super soft meat. Paratha was nice and crunchy and a perfect accompaniment for Nalli.
Murgh Yakhini Pulao (Chicken Dum Biriyani): It was my mistake to go against the server's recommendation of Dumpukht Biriyani as it would have been too much mutton. Anyways, the chicken biriyani was good and aromatic, but there many other places you can find this type of biriyani.
Gulab Ki Kheer: Amazing twist to your trusty old kheer. And what taste really awesome.
PS: Pic with the man behind it: Chef Azaan Qureshi
This has always been my favourite place for special occasions..I went there with my family to celebrate my husband‘s birthday..we ordered our favourite dishes like mutton biryani, nihari kebabs with khameeri roti and paranthas.. the aroma of the food speaks for itself and the detectable level of desi ghee makes it more decadent and rich.. hence very filling! Nevertheless it has been and it will always be the best place with a very classy and beautiful ambience created by pianist Brian Silas playing the golden classics!
Brilliant brilliant kakori and Biriyani. The precision in cooking is excellent. In Biriyani The mutton was falling off the bones and the rice was so well seasoned. Don’t miss the Firni. Fabulous. The service was very good as expected. It is always advisable to book and go or you may be disappointed not being able to grab a table.
This place has the best dal makhni in Delhi. while Bukhara is more famous for it, i ll recommend dal makhni of Dumpukht. The experience is always pleasant and royal..
Went here years ago for a meal that's still fresh in my mind. We ordered the galauti kebabs, the haleem and the warqi paranthas. Each item was freshly prepared and rich in flavour. The overall vibe of the restaurant certainly made you feel like a king or queen.
We had dinner at Dumpukht last night and I have to say this is the best restaurant I have been to across continents and cuisines. We have been going to the ITC for ages but we have always dined at Bukhara/Peshawari as they market it as the gold standard of Mughlai food. I was really disappointed with Bukhara where I dined two nights before and I will write a review. Keeping focus on Dumpukht. We ordered Habibia chops, Jhinga dum nisha, seekh gilafi, hara kabab Awadhi, seekh nilofara. We ordered lamb biryani, makhni dal, gucchhi and breads for main course. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. For drinks the one I would mention is the Green revolution.Thank you Chef Qureshi for the great food and our serveur Kanwar for a great conversation. I will remember this Diwali for long.
A regular place for our Anniversary celebrations
And everytime I visit , I am equally surprised by the hospitality
The Food is always the best and is made as per our choice of taste
The Chef has been blessed by Annapurna, great food and amazing service.
The attention to detail is beyond words.
I am a old school when it comes to table. I need my cutlery as per the course and I get that everytime I am here.
Thanks for serving team
My family didn’t much like the taste of the food we ordered: Jhinga Dum Nisha, Shahi Nehari both being specialities at ITC Maurya. Perhaps we expected the Nehari to be spicy. But a big thumps up for the grandeur, presentation, courteous staff, quantity. Next time would like to visit Bukhara!
Ordered the following :
Dahi Kebab : the best in the town. Must have. Melt in your mouth and still have a crispy texture
Kakori Kebab : soft soft and soft ..... the melt you in your mouth and have different textures of flavours. Must have
Chicken Kushparda: the moment the dough is cut and removed from the bowl. The smell of the succulent chicken and ingredients hit you. One of my favourites here
Dum Biryani - Cooked for hours has a beautiful texture and taste.
We ordered mirch k salan, dal makhani, Paneer everything was good n perfectly cooked. Loved its ambiance n food. Service was also good n staff was quiet friendly n nice.
My favourite cuisine served in an non-pareil ambience and with immaculate service.
Must try lamb biryani, mutton seekh kebabs, sheermal, and kulfi.
No Indian restaurant in the world can compare
Don’t waste your time just order the Kakori Kebab and mutton biryani
This place is a life altering experience
Full disclaimer - I'm a vegetarian
This aside if you're here for daal makhini please plan a escape route as they don't do that here.
And if biryani is your thing visit without a thought.
I don't know how something as simple as raita can taste this good. The chef here are simply marvelous. Although given the cooking process is slow I recommend you to visit on time and order smartly as they generally take about half an hour to serve
Such wonderful biriyani one just can’t stop eating. Perhaps the best Kakori to lay hands on in and around NCR. Dal, ah, the divine dal. Top class food, fantastic management, a true fine dining experience.
I just loved there service... I know am reviewing after an year and am not finding the other pictures but the Indian food specialty biryani, saahi tukda in dessert was awesome. They made this b'day a memorable one.
Kudos team
Dum pukht had got beautiful ambience wid cozy environment.
Great dining restaurant nd wonderful plating.
Staff service is also very up to point.
For vegetarians, it serves best biryani and im sure u’ll like it.
Drinks were also vry good.
Wud like to visit here again.
Great ambience with cozy interiors.Great fine dining restaurant.Do try their awesomelicious mutton kebabs(mouth watering).
Sometimes there are ghazal nights too.
One of the best fine dining Awadh restaurant in the city. Probably the best mughlai food in the world they make.
The food- The best one can get, very flavourful without being oily or too spicy. Went there for a family dinner sometime back. They have the real royal ambience.
We had Kakori kebabs which is out of the world and they just melts in your mouth flooding with flavours, chicken tikka was so good and tendered ,raan never ever had something like this, jhinga was ok types ,Dum Pukht biryani the best biryani I ever had in my life ones in a lifetime experience.
Dum pukht is a fine dinning restaurant with elegant ambience. It has a classic Mughal interior with limited color combination which makes it feel more Royal. Had one of the most delicious meals here last night. The dinner sitting is so beautiful. Awesome Delicious Food. Its lot better than "Bukhara". In a Rating Scale of 5 Rating for items consumed are as follows: Dumpukht Kakori - 5, Shahi Nehari - 5, Ambience - 5, Hospitality - 5, Mohit (attendant) - 5 due to his good sense of humour & Nice Photographer, understand customer needs as what needs to be ordered.
if you want to experience authentic mughlai food then dum pukht is the place.. the ambience is just the best ,presentation is good ...doesnt matter whethef you are veg or non veg....this restraunt serves the best biryani on the planet ....order gucchi biryani for vegetarians
Expectations were sky high and dum pukht did justice to the hype... But still it wasn't a 100%... May be for Someone having meat occasionally and only at restaurants the expeerience is out of the world but for someone who cooks, knows his flavors and has meat almost every other day its a routine affair. Not taking away from them the credit for amazing texture and well cooked food. The flavors were definitely there. Started with the Shorba.. Saffron and two tiny best balls... Did it's job of making me hungrier but taste wasn't upto the mark. Have had better Shorba at my Granny's. Starters were the only reason I'm rating it 4 stars... The kakori was the finest minced meat roll I'd ever had... Smooth, flavourful and melt in mouth good... The saffron lingered on till the next course. Also ordered the chops. The uniform texture, the flavour infused in every strand of meat with juicy chunks getting off the bone like hot knife through butter... Was truly an experience. Nihari was rich and well prepared but have had better Niharis in old Delhi. Taftan - bread was just OK... Not justifying the price. Coming to the Biryani... I was a bit disappointed mainly cause it didn't fit my definition. But... Never the less fine Basmati with juicy flavourful meat and the dum effect of with aromas was not wasted... Overall a magnificent dine in expeerience with great food and service. A must visit for those special occasions in life.A little heavy on tht pocket though..
The aesthetics and ambience of the place are on point, with live piano performances in the background.
I tried their Kakori and Gilafi Kebab for starters along with a Strawberry Banana and coconut colada; Nihari, Warqi Parantha and Dum Pukht Biryani for main course and Shahi Tukra and Khwaan- E- Shirini for dessert.
While all their mutton dishes were cooked to perfection, I found their Gilafi kebab and the desserts to be quite average. Desserts were quite insipid, the colada had too much sugar and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone else. However, their Kakori Kebab and Nihari are a must try!
The menu is detailed and covers all kinds of meat and vegetable dishes well. Overall the dishes are seasoned with delicate and subtle spiciness with attention paid to textures and aromas. We were a party of 6 with a few vegetarians amongst us and for the table we ordered-
Apps-
The paneer dudhiya kabab which is paneer roundels stuffed with mashed potatoes - flavorful and mildly spicy.
Murgh Chandi Tikka - possibly the most tender and delicate chicken I have eaten. The chandi warq added opulence for sure!
we ordered a biryani dum phukt, sunhari goolar, shahi tukra. the biryani was just mouth watering, we two were not able to finish the same. Exotic flavours, true to its name. the sunheri kabeb and shahi tukra were just adding to the taste. Overwhelmed with the ambience, taste. To add the service needs to be faster as the waiting time was too much.
Dum-Pukht is one of the best royal fine dining restaurants. The ambience is up to mark and interiors are magnificent. The chairs are comfortable.
The food is absolutely tasty and rich.
The staff here is very courteous and sincere.
We ordered mutton kakori kebab which was very soft and was melted in the mouth and Murg chandi tikka was
tasty and flavoursome. But biryani was not as good as we expected,it was average.
At the last, Kulfi faluda was awesome and Shahi tukra is a must try.
AMBIENCE-5/5
FOOD-4.5/5
STAFF-5/5
Went here for my husband’s birthday dinner and it was a beautiful experience..lovely and luxurious feel and ambience..slow cooked mouthwatering biryanis are their specialty..we even got a deliciously soft melt in the mouth chocolate mousse cake on the house as it was a birthday celebration. The only downside was that it was a bit crowded and not as spacious as the pictures suggest!
Best mouth watering Biryanis in town..aromatic shorbas ..this place is jewel of ITC...I find it better than Bukhara... courteous service...yummy food...burrrrrp
Ambience: Good
Service: Excellent
Food: Excellent
Cost: Expensive
We Ordered Chicken Chandi Kabab, Nihari, Khameri Roti, Shahi Tukda.
Kabab was Soft, Tender and Juicy.
Nihari was The Best and tastes traditional
Shahi Tukda was equally tasty though they forgot to add it in the bill, they didn’t charge us inspite of reminding and gave it as “Gift”
Oh! The service! The food! What do I say and where do I start from! There s this thing in vegetarian food that it kinda needs effort to spoil it and vice versa I.e. needs efforts to make it extraordinary from the veg food that you get in restaurants normally. Now the thing with Dum phukt is I don't what they do but as a lay man and food lover, they make it exotic and it tastes so different and rich that you end up savouring the dish. Plus the heating counter that is kept near your table so that whenever you ask for a particular dish it is served hot. Having a meal over here certainly gives you some joyous and extra special moments! This is the place to go for those special days. Mind you the prices are also special but they are definetly worthy of it! Happy celebrations 😊
Dum pukht is a royal experience of fine dinning. It is in ITC Maurya at Chanakyapuri.
It is below the ground level inside the hotel.
The service and behavior of the staff is really good and respectful. They do make you feel special.
Dum pukht is a fine dinning restaurant with elegant ambience. It has a classic Mughal interior with limited color combination which makes it feel more Royal.
They have very few selective food items in their menu.
The taste is amazing there. You can taste and smell aromas of most of the ingredients and the authenticity of the dish.
Well I won't say it's affordable or money worth the food.
It's still very costly.
But the experience is really good and worth the visit.
Must go.
Had one of the most delicious meals here last night. The dinner sitting is so beautiful, they do justice to fine dining. We started with mutton kakori kebab which was so succulent. For mains we had mutton nihari, which i fell in love with. Overall, this is definitely worth the money and I would recommend going here with an empty stomach.
A legendary outlet in the ITC hotel, located downstairs in the hotel, the entrance is grand with lovely decor.
A table reservation is must here since it's always full.
Food, service,ambience all are 5/5.
The starters are good, we had one veg platter and in non veg : dumpukht kakori which was absolutely soft nd amazing.
Dumpukht kakori is served in such a way that it didn't get break since it's too soft.
In main course, we ordered dumpukht biryani their signature dish alongwith sabzi & breads. The food is amazingly tasty here.
Desserts are not to be missed , Shahi tukra and gulab kheer are best here.
Hospitality on the point, royal decor, mughlai cuisine : a place for classic celebrations. ❤️🍾
One of the best luxury dining restaurant in the city!
No doubt, it is a legendary outlet!
One of the most iconic restaurants of India, this place boasts of the best Awadhi cuisine. The place is tastefully done with a very nawabi touch of the lucknow gharana.
Most importantly the seating of this restaurant is far more comfortable than its fellow star restaurant Bukhara which has a dhaba style seating.
The staff is courteous and nice.
We went there for my dad's birthday and we ordered the lamb chops which were very juicy and well done from inside. They used the New Zealand imported lamb chops which are very soft in texture. Although it was tasty but the serving size is small with only 3 pieces of chops.
The Dumpukht gosht biryani is served in a Handi and is enough for 3 people. The meat is well cooked but the rice were slightly sticky.
The final item that we ordered was the Grand Mughal Roast which is a whole chicken roasted and dressed in a slightly spicy gravy and served with paranthas. This dish takes almost 45 minutes to prepare so one should order it in advance. The serving size is huge and this is enough for 4 people. The dish looks tempting but doesn't taste anything extraordinary.
The khameeri roti here is also not the fluff naan but the regular tandoori roti.
Since it was my dads birthday, they presented a complimentary chocolate cake which was well presented and tasted great.
It was a great meal in a great setting but the food lacked the bang that I was expecting.
Although the restaurant is classier than Bukhara but in the end it all boils down to the food where Bukhara has an edge.
I wish they had a hybrid of the two with food from Bukhara's kitchen served in the setting of the Dumpukht.
If you are looking for a good classy, royal fine dinning with amazing food them thos is the correct place for it.
The ambience of the restraunt is so amazing and royal looking that its just waooo..
the staff and the hospitality is also 5/5
Talking about the food, it is also very amazing with value for money.
It was my fathers birthday and we asked them to present the cake we were so happy to see the way of presenting it that just made it more special for him.
Ps: i loved this place from all prospect and love to visit again and again..
You have got to love this place, remains an all time favourite, food, service they are ordinary parameters to judge and which they anyways excel at, its the experience here that counts, makes each penny you spend worth it. If you wish to bask in luxury with super amazing food and service, head here!
Perfect combination of leisure and traditional food. With no doubt the crew beautifully manages and takes care of their guest even if its full. When it comes to food they take care of every single detail and a perfectly level cooked food.
This place not needs any review. I had great experience here. The biryani was great. Everything is very good here. You can enjoy with family and friends.
dal makhni is fabulous, breads are very good, veg options are limited , option for rice should be there, starters are great specially cottage cheese, starters like tandoori aloo would be a nice option to add
We had ordered a variety of kababs, Yellow Dal, chicken, Biryani.
Highlight of the evening were the kababs, the texture, taste, flavors, AMAZING, I've never had a panner Kabab like they serve here.
Would definitely recommend Kakori.
Staff is super friendly makes you feel super comfortable.
A flamboyant place with excellent service!
The staff would definitely put in an extraordinary effort to make your experience truly delightful. This just not limited to the hospitality but the fabulous food offering they provide.
Based on their recommendations, we ordered Seekh Nilofari, Murgh Chandi Tikka, Dum Pukht Biryani, Murgh Handi Qorma and every item was absolutely amazing and a total delight to our taste buds. To top it up, when the staff got to know that its my parent's wedding anniversary, they got us a cake to celebrate the occasion.
The best dining experience with great service and excellent food is awaiting for all the foodies!
You wouldn't expect a place to surpass it's neighbour when it's in the same hotel as the legendary Bukhara. But it does, pretty much on all fronts except the dal, of course. The kakori, the korma, the lamb entrée were beyond good and pretty much enough along with the the lovely awadhi decor and an amazing front of the house for dum pukht to sail into your top three restaurants of all time.
It’s really an amazing place for your senses as you enter the smell of jasmine or there beautiful interior and scrumptious food!! We had biryani , kebabs and mutton dish with paranthas ones in a lifetime experience, half star less cause it’s might not be to everyone taste but it’s just luxury.
When you think of celebration and quintessential classique, there is one and only one name that comes to mind, which is nonpareil and par exemplar and that is none other than Dum Pukht.
It’s magic beckons you again and again.
Just wish to thank Mr Kanwar Yadav for making my daughter’s achievement so special and so beautiful. His hospitality is synonymous to that of being treated as royalty with the array of food from kebabs to seekh to dal tadka ( its made with magic believe me) and from Kheer, phirni to gulab jamun. The list goes on.
The piano in the background and sometimes occupying the foreground of conversation was so mesmerising. One felt transported to another world. Our mood was ecstatic, riding on the Russian troika of Food, Piano and Ambience. Once again I thank Dum Pukht for playing a role that earmarks almost each milestone of our life.
Food taste is good..delicious...
Excellent food and Service. The restaurant decor is attractive Staff is very courteous. Dishes prepared by chef are delicious.
The beautiful ambiance and lovely live music make your outing seem magical. I recently visited during Restaurant Week India and had a fantastic experience. Read more about my visit on nooranandchawla.com
Service : usually the place needs reservations but once you are inside than the service is world class . The servers are very courteous and informative
Ambience : very plush
The service was exceptionally good and the staff made sure that we know what goes in every menu item and had recommended the right dishes to try between two people.
I highly recommend everyone to try their Raan and Chandi Chicken.
They were kind enough to curate a meal for one that included both vegetarian and meat options. Everything I tasted was unique and delicious, but a special mention should be made about the lamb biryani. Simple yet spectacular flavors that made this Hyderabadi vouch for it being the best he has ever had. I look forward to coming back...
Not many people are aware that most of the 5 star places offer a lunch for one option that includes an entree, main and a dessert! Traveling alone in Delhi, I absolutely enjoyed this meal! The kebab was excellent and the dessert was to die for ! Loved it and be there when I am in Delhi next.
Top notch meal in delhi. You won’t get awadhi food this good outside of Lucknow.
Had a lovely experience dining at this amazing restraunt. (The music, the ambience, the food & specially the staff members.)
Service by Mr Rahul made our evening worth remembering.
Also Thank you for the lovely gesture🤩 This beautiful cake with best wishes.🎉
It was a pure delight to dine here. Both the chicken and mutton dishes that we ordered were perfectly cooked and delicious. Even after hogging so much, the food was easy on the stomach and we really relished every bit of it. The staff here is quite hospitable. Definitely recommended for non-vegetarian lovers.
Majestic food. It must be in your bucket list.
What makes it more special is the service and a team which works like family.
Thank you Shiv for making our dinner most memorable.
Cheers
Sid
Wonderful experience dining here with love music. Digvijay had lovely recommendations for us for the dishes. He also got us an off the menu drink which was spectacular! Started off our Delhi trip right!
A positively stunning restaurant and amazing experience at Dum Pukht at the ITC Maurya. I stay in this hotel exclusively for this restaurant alone. The overall ambiance is truly special compared even to their sister location at the ITC Grand Maratha in Mumbai. The staff makes a difference here. The Dun Pukht biryani is a signature dish and worth flying around the world to savor. The aroma when the dish is opened is amazing. This is must do restaurant in Delhi
The ambiance is elegant, and the service is impeccable. The menu is a symphony of flavors – each dish a masterpiece. From appetizers to desserts, the chef's creativity shines. The staff's knowledge and passion elevate the dining experience. If you crave an extraordinary culinary journey,
