I have been visiting The One for a long time now. But this visit was special as it was my daughter's farewell. Mr. Mahendra, Ms. Astha Kichumal and Chef Roy made the occassion a memorable one. Excellent and prompt service, lovely ambience, delicious food and value for money makes me want to visit this place again and again.

The One is the All Day Dining Restaurant of Le Meridien , New Delhi . We used to go here very often , but hadn't visited too often in recent times. So for a special occasion we decided to go here . It was Saturday Night and we decided to go for a buffet and luckily had a prior reservation , as the restaurant was full the entire time we dined. The One is located in the Lobby level of the hotel and is one of the most chic and modern Ambience restaurant of such level , though it has been the same for last 5-7 years. Yet the ambience is intriguing and exclusive like always , one of the real USP of this place . Here there were 5 total counters - Salads , Salad and Cold Cuts Section , Cheese Section , Live Grill , Pizza and Pasta Section , Main Course Section and Dessert Section . And being a 5 star the variety is huge and selection is of the best ingredients . Just one small problem , for so much food you need a decent sized table when there are 4 people and the sizes of the table were mostly very small , only few tables which were with the couch were good sized , but we didn't get one . For drinks I tried their Virgin Pina Colada and it was awesome . Very well made and executed , highly recommended drink here . Starting with the food now , first I had food from the Salad , Coldcuts and Cheese Section . This was amazing and the quality of the items and variety was astonishing. First I took their Pita Bread and different types of Hummus . They had 3 different types namely - Normal Hummus , Beetroot Hummus and Mint Hummus . I tried the Beetroot and Mint Hummuss' and honestly they were awesome ! They were unique to start with but their flavours really were just perfect , the Beetroot one was slightly sweet and tasted really nice , while the Mint one felt really fresh and had a nice kick . Great variety and tasting Hummus for sure . Coming to the Coldcuts , thet were all Amazing . All imported and tasted great variety were - Milano Salami , Chicken Pistachio Lyoner , Smoked Ham and a Grilled Fish . They were all very delicious . Next was an unusual item - Coleslaw and all I can say is that it was awesome ! The coleslaw tasted so good and the flavours were spot on , one of the best Coleslaw i have ever had. The Veggies in the slaw were fresh and crunchy though they were coated with the mayonnaise . Next I had a fresh seafood - Mussels . Classic Mussels , very plump , extremely fresh and juicy . The taste of the Mussels was very nice and had so much juice in them that once one puts them in the mouth they explode with flavours. After this there was the Seafood Salad which had leeks , squid and octopus . This was also great as the seafood was very flavourful and fresh . For seafood freshness is very important as it not only changes the flavour but can even upset your stomach but here all the Seafood was extremely fresh. The salad also had nice lime flavour which really gave a good contrast to the seafood . Now coming to the best part of the starter plate - Ham Salad and Marinated Prawns. Both were just amazing . Ham salad was very wholesome and comforting and the Prawn was very Juicy and super sweet . Amazing dishes and the best ones . For mains I tried - Cheddar Broccoli , Saffron Veg Pasta , Salmon with Pesto Sauce , Prawn Malai Curry , Lamb Ossobucco . The Mains were Tasty and satisfying , I liked whatever I had but a few people in my family didn't like everything which they had . They had loads of desserts too , which were very fancy in look , but the taste of all weren't very great . Price was pretty good at around 3500 per person for a weekend dinner buffet with a Mocktail order via Ala carte . But the service was a bit short , as the restaurant was full it felt that the place is under staffed as even when we asked for our bill it took 10-15 mins at least .
One of my favourites A la carte place, the veg rissoto is so beautifully made that the flavours sing to you. Most amazing rissoto I have tried in Delhi city. The Lebanese platter is good but I am just only a little into Lebanese and Baba Ganoush. The humans was fantastic though.
Buffet is also decent but it's nothing on a la carte and between the two choose a la carte with close eyes, it's a no brainer actually. In desserts Philly cheesecake is sweet but here I preferred the food especially Italian over the desserts which is rare yet it was enthralling to undergo. An excellent choice of Italian.
Beautiful ambience, good food spread and decent service by the service personnel makes this restaurant very special. I really enjoyed the Chicken Ham sandwich which they offered with along with coffee
The One is actual the one you look for a fine dining experience. Their food is delicious and healthy. Their staffs are attentive and ambience is awesome.

They had today healthy sprout chaat which was yum and totally mind-blowing.
They have a wonderful selection of assorted veg kebabs & non-veg starters like sloppy joss
The punjabi themed brunch had everything u could dream of,
From creamy,luscious dal makhani,steam rice,pulao,dal tadka,soyachaap masala,dudhi ki sabzi,baigan bhagare,kadhi pakora,chole amritsari,onion tomato pulao,keema kaleji,murgh shahi patiala.U guys here in delhi are so blessed

The one has a very spacious sitting and serves decent food. The service is a bit slow. They have a lavish buffet as well but I haven’t tried that yet. The dishes we tried were:

The one is one of my favourite place to dine at . It has never disappointed me over taste and quality of food . Their pizzas and pasta are a must try . Baked with utmost love and perfection . Their fish and chips are really good takes you back to Europe for the taste they serve . We ordered for a grilled chicken breast in black pepper sauce though it wasn’t on their menu but their courteous staff got it prepared for us and it was just so delicious . Last night I visited here and had dinner with my family. We had full course buffet. Everything was so amazing and delicious. I just loved their pasta, grill platter and desserts. Staff was quiet greatful and poliet.

Went there on a Subday afternoon and opted for ala carte instead of their brunch. Initially the service was really poor, we waited for atleast 10mins for someone to bring us menu and water.
We ordered- Chili Paneer Tacos, Vegetarian Carbonara Pasta, ButterChicken with garlic Naan and Chicken Risotto for food. For drinks we wanted to go for Corona beer but was informed that they only have Kingfisher and Heineken. So ordered Kingfisher ultra and one margerita.
Since we were super hungry by that time, we were anxiously waiting for our food. First dish came and upon having a first look got to know it was Chicken Carbonara instead of the actual order of Veg Carbonara. After informing the staff there, pasta was taken back. This made us more hangry :p
Then came butter chicken with naan- and it was yummm...
Chicken Risotto and Veg carbonara tasted amazing too!
Only mood spoiler was Chili Paneer Tacos. Instead of chilli paneer it was sweet paneer, taco shells were not that crisp. We raised this to the staff and the courteous staff was happy to replace that for us with Mediterranean Pizza.. first bite and I can only say Wow for it..crispy, hot and loaded pizza definitely one of the best!
Margerita was okayish. Ordered Illy Cafe Mocha too which was good.
As for dessert we ordered Degustation of Cream Caramel which was not upto our taste.. didnt enjoyed that.
Overall we started with a slow start but the service at the end won our hearts!
Their Pizzas and Pastas are must-to-have.

This is just a wow place. Have been there multiple times for business meetings during my stay in Gurgaon. At the entrance only you will feel the difference.

Again,on my visit. I ordered for a margarita pizza & alfredo pasta. They tasted too bland. Pasta had a hair or cloth fibre in it. On showing to the staff, the manager took the lead & assured to serve pizza & pasta as per our choices. We waited but appetite was gone. By the time they served, we ate & got the food packed - we hardly ate the re done order.
Manager did this best to serve.
But, we really didn’t have a great time - wasted our time & calories for such food.

The South Indian food was really good and the salami and sausage was amazing. Fresh orange and water melon juice 💯. Every thing in the buffet was neat, clean and fresh. The pastries were different and delicious. The staff was so good and friendly. The washroom was not in the restaurant. It might be bit expensive but it is worth it
I went to have breakfast to this great place with my friend and our sons. The weather was awesome with light rain and we requested for the window table. The staff Was so nice to arrange one for us. The buffet breakfast had great variety and was reasonably priced. Their waffles(live station) and omelettes are one of the best I have ever tasted. Have a great variety for health conscious people as well for those who are not so health conscious. 😉 Freshly squeezed orange juice was a delight. I am sure I will be having my breakfast there once every month at least! Cheers. Keep it up

One of the best morning buffet and lunch I ever had in this coffee shop . In the buffet I had my all time favourite Chole bhature , Spanish omelette , some chicken salami ,fresh fruits and ofcourse the morning bakeries which includes brioche , croissants and Danish pastries accompanied with the hot cappuccino .
For the lunch I just had the non vegetarian pizza with chunks of chicken and jalapeños with Tobasco and a can of sprite . Overall it was a very nice place to have buffet . It was nicely managed by the manager and work load was equally divided . It never didn't look like there is hustle and bustle . Being a hotelier we always learn from this .
Having been here for many dinner and breakfast buffets i have not been really satisfied with the food variety as of a buffet but i must say if you look for perfect oven baked pizzas here is the place .. i was recommended by a friend and the pizza i got here was one of the best i have ever tried in India .. ordered chicken mushroom and bell peppers pizza and it was superb!! Definitely added to my favourite places for pizza 🍕❤️

We ordered a Pizza with our customisation. The pizza was absolutely delicious. They serve one of the best authentic italian wood fired oven pizza that you can find in Delhi. It was crispy, perfectly thin and flavourful.
Lemon Iced Tea was also nice. You can call for extra lemon or sugar syrup if you need.
According to me the starters were not that good and needs a lil bit of improvement but on the other hand each and every dish in the main course was just superb! One of the best pizzas I have tried in the country. Kudos to the culinary team running the establishment! The Extreme Friendly & Courteous Staff it's none other than Le Meridien Hotel. What a fantastic service.
This restaurant is beautifully laid out ascetically with wood carved pillars, chandeliers and views of the gardens. The service was outstanding.The food, as usual, was delicious and plentiful, and the team remembered our favourite dishes from previous visits.
Excellent presentation of Pasta and chocolate Sundae. It was one like we see in Master Chef. Staff was as polite as one can be.
Just need to work on the ambience again.
I have mostly tried the Buffet here which is indeed nice but I didn't realise what i was missing out on until the day I tried their a la carte. I should have known better but I learnt it from experience that their A la carte is 10 times better than the Buffet and is worth more. If you visit the place please don't be tempted for the Buffet. Go with the menu. The funghi rissoto I tried here was the Mona Lisa of all Risottos. Such a beautiful plate with a grand quality cheese and the rice oh melted in my mouth. The mezze platter is fabulous and has a collection of this perfect great dips. Also try the pasta here. I tried fetuccine and it was perfect. The only lesser part of the meal was the dessert. It wasn't bad or anything just that it wasn't comparable to noshes. But still they aren't hopeless and merit your explpration. Chocolate trio is better than Philly cheesecake.
Le Meridien
Le meridien is a biggie when it comes to hotels, restaurants and hospitality and well the name is well earned. From courteous staff to amazing structural beauty that the restaurant is to all the beautifully delicious food at the buffet counter, I was left mesmerised. My favourite margherita pizza was on the menu so ordered that. Crispy thin base, glistening melted cheese, sweet tangy cherry tomatoes and basil, I can eat this pizza from the one for breakfast, lunch, dinner and still want more of it. Hats of to the team. 😁🍕👻
Had buffet breakfast at Le Meridien and they offer a wide spread . Loved the fresh cut fruits , pav bhaji , mushroom omelette and sauté mushrooms . Special callout to the fruit of the season - mango! Service is good at par with other Le Meridien outlets
Had a wonderful experience at The One resaturent at le merdien new delhi, we all enjoyed the food, specially services given by Uma Bhatt at the resaturent, she arranged everything so well and did arranged cake on very short notice, the kids were happy. Altogether it was a wonderful experience. Would like to come again and again.
I always want best food to start the day and the one is the best place to go for it. Fresh sausage, toothsome fruits and dessert. And perfectly done egg Benedict♥️

Ambience:
The restaurant is located right next to the lobby. They've got a large seating area . Nice interiors quite urban and classy. Though I felt some of the newer luxury hotels are better done up and the place needed a bit of revamping.
The spread:
Lavish!! You name it and it was there.. From Indian to Italian to South Indian to Mexican to Mediterranean.
I tried the broccoli soup. Went on to have a schwerama and a kathi roll, pizza
We started with soup and nicks, graduated to pizzas
All in all can’t eat so much. For the food , taste can do better.
For someone who believes in ordering the comfort zone food, take a dig at their menu and you’ll change your mind! It’s probably the description of the food that makes you contemplate a change from the usual dishes! I’ve never ever had the pleasure of trying an ice cream cheesecake! But the baileys ice cream cheesecake is outstanding! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Decided to give The One a try for my birthday dinner last night.I had booked a buffet table in advance and had even paid in advance. I was assured a table by Mr. Pallav, their restaurant manager.
Well frankly, I had high expectations from The One, being a 5 star restaurant but it actually failed big time.
Starting from the starters, there are not much options for a vegetarian. The pasta was amazing and worth a try. In main course, dal makhani wasn't thick and was super watery making it taste awful.
Coming to the service, I had the worst experience I can ever have in a 5 star. From other guests occupying my table to waiting for cutlery and breads for 15 minutes each, it wasn't expected at all.
I understand there was a huge rush but that doesn't mean that the services are affected this much.
All in all, not worth the Rs 2500 I spent per person.
Definitely not recommended

It is rightly said one negative review cannot decide the quality of the restaurant. I had a different experience altogether when I visited the restaurant yesterday. With amazing hospitality and yummy food, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

So, dinner buffet at The One happened yesterday. It was almost full on a Friday night. There buffet is charged 2500 all inclusive and here's what I feel about it.
Food: Let's start with food cause thats what matters the most. I was expecting something more extravagant as far as meal is concerned, especially on a Friday evening. The meat variety in salad was alot from smoked salmon, tuna, chicken, etc. but somehow the vegetarians (like my husband) were scrounging for better alternatives. They have a pasta station and the red sauce pasta was pretty good too.
Coming to the main course, the breads were great. I had pudina parantha and was served well in time and absolutely crispy. I felt the main course items were too spicy. I was expecting some massive spread of food, which I didn't find. I mean, I've had better food at other places at around the same price. The desserts are good and are alot.
Ambiance: They kinda have a Valentiney ambiance with their red decor. Its kinda nice and romantic.
Hospitality: Gotta give it to them for this one. They had a pretty comfortable baby chair for my 1.9 year old. We were timely attended for the breads and other needs. We had to wait a little for the assorted veggies for my son, but that's okay. The staff is there to attend you, with a smile.
You will like it. But, loving it should mean more variety of delectable food.

I recently stayed at Le Meridien in New Delhi for two days and I must say, the experience was nothing short of excellent. The ambiance of the hotel is absolutely awesome - it exudes sophistication and elegance, and the attention to detail is truly impressive.

Love this restaurant. Their buffet spread is terrific. Starting from the salads, soups, Starters, main course to desserts.. . Everything is very appealing. Salad counter has very nice cold cuts with sea food, poultry, pork and wide variety of vegetables with different types of dips and sauces. They also have live counters for pasta and grills. Had an amazing chicken pasta prepared by Chef Vinod. Had very well prepared grilled fish, prawns and chicken from the live grill. Main course is sumptuous too... Perfect mix of Indian and continental food.Had yummy and juicy chicken seekh kababs with mint sauce. Desert section is literally an icing on the cake. And to top it up a hot cup of Jasmine tea or Cappuccino. Overall quite a satisfying experience.
Splendid stay. Service was decent. Food was extremely tasty and they have all that’s required for a safe and happy stay. Rooms are tidy and spacious. The whole place looks divine. The garden area swimming area are all well kept. Loved the entire stay and the refreshments offered. The whole place is filled with beautiful marble carvings which Itself shows the beauty of the whole area.
I enjoyed every single bite of the meal here. I had a 3 course meal. The ambience was totally great with good kind hearted staffs with the high quality in service, and the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.
I will surely recommend stay in the hotel. The staff makes sure your stay is memorable and relaxing to the core.
