What I ordered-
2 Mocktails - Fruit Colada & Cool Breeze- refreshing and Zingy !
A bunch of beers 🍻
famous Dal Baluchi- Really creamy and rich, Totally worth it !
Paneer Lababdar- melt in the mouth cottage cheese in tomato cashew gravy mildly spicy
Gucchi Pulao- aromatic with tons of flavour
Vegetable Raita- Goes amazingly with biryani/pulao
Breads- Garlic naan, Butter naan ~ nice and crisp !
Rumali Rotis~ melt in mouth yummy
Approx cost - Rs 11,000/- including drinks
Food was lipsmacking, the menu is good - having a wide variety of indian dishes to choose from. Great work by the chef. A true 5 star experience. Preparation time is a little high almost an hour ! I felt service could be faster. The place is bustling on the weekends and ambience is good. I would suggest prior table reservation as there is a bit of waiting. We had such a wonderful experience we decided to book a stay for the coming weekend ☺️

Baluchi is the premier North Indian restaurant at The Lalit New Delhi.
The ambience is colossal and definitely feels like a 5 star.
Service is top notch as you would expect from The Lalit hospitality.
Coming to the food, it is good but not amazing. I didn't find a single item on my table for which I would come back again. However, the overall experience was great.
Dal Baluchi is their version of Dal Makhni and is served not just here, but at other Lalit hotels too across India. It is also a part of the buffet at the 24/7 coffee shop.
Cost for two is around 5000 INR.
Would suggest to give this place a try if you are looking for a Fine Dining North Indian restaurant.
Stayed in the hotel and so decided to try their restaurant, the food is just incredible. It's hard to describe in words. Waiters are dressed in the Rajasthani outfit and at the end of the meal the chef comes out to say hello to all the tables. Their wine selection is awesome too.
Thank you for the hospitality thoroughly enjoyed it.
Excellent!! Ambience of the restaurant is so good that you feel like sitting there for hours listening to music ..All the dishes we ordered whether veg or non veg were very tasty. Baluchi Dal Makhni was really yummy. Staff was very courteous and full of warmth. Though it was expensive but we enjoyed.

I visited this place sometime back in December and it was a lovely experience here. First of all a special shoutout to the amazing hospitality and courteous chef. Secondly, lets talk about the food. I loved their tomato shorba. I tried their veg and non veg platter . In main course , their dal baluchi is a must try for dal lovers. In desserts i tried gulab jamun and paan kulfi . Oh my god their kulfi is so flavoursome. Totally recommended !!
Visited the outlet on a Family dinner during my stay at the Lalit. The place has a very calm ambiance and is well suited for a family dinner. The food also has that punjabi touch unlike most 5 stars and is not bland. Dal Balouchi of course is the most famous attraction of the joint and is a do not miss item. Apart from that a palak papad dish was also delicious (Don't remember the exact name). The staff is polite and quick on their feet. I don't think rates and portions require a mention considering it to be a luxury dinning experience.
Hey guys, so today I just visited this beautiful restaurant. The food was truly amazing, the ambiance was very cool, the staff was friendly. The food was pocket friendly and was truly amazing.
Baluchi is the fine dine pan-Indian restaurant of The Lalit New Delhi. It is one of the best restaurant of Delhi for north Indian food. I went here yesterday and a really wonderful experience.
We started with Surkh Tamatar Shorba which was a light and delicious soup of tomatoes. Then i tried the vegetarian starters: Achari Paneer Tikka, Subz ki Seekh and Gucchi aur safed mushroom ki galouti. All three tasted really good but the galouti was outstanding. It had the perfect melt-in-mouth texture. In main course, i had paneer lababdar, methi palak papad ki subzi and dal baluchi. The gravy of paneer lababdar had distinct taste of so many Indian spices. Amazing preperation. Methi palak papad ki subzi was made using fresh, seasonal methi and palak along with papad. Not only it was good in taste, it was good for health as well. Dal Baluchi is their signature dish and it was good as ever. In Desserts, i had the blueberry rasgulla which was something that i tried for the first time and i absolutely loved it's taste.
With zero food wastage, paper straws and decorations using therapeutic plants, The Lalit is doing it's bit to achieve a sustainable tomorrow by conscious today. Their efforts are worth appreciating.👍🏻
About Place: The decor of the place was so elegant. Everything was perfect very neat & clean. Place was spacious and quiet which we really desired for. One can have a good 5 star dinning here with tempting food and well mannered staff.
..
About food : We tried #electric_blue , #fruit_colada , #surkh_tamatar_shorba , #tandoor_platter , #paneer_lababdar , #dal_baluchi , #gucchi_pulao , #methi_palak_papad_ki_sabzi , #raita #paan_kulfi
Both mocktails were refreshing. Then we had tomato soup which was okay. In platter we had Achari paneer tikka , subz ki seekh and malai artichoke. Platter was superb all the three items were new & unique in taste. Main course was served beautifully all the food items were good and I really loved the gucchi pulao. It had awesome fragrance and taste of saffron. And the paan kulfi was again really refreshing and had proper paan flavour. It was a great experience.
Gourmet style. Great food served..... Well Paired with Indian wines... Mawa cake pie was a surprise dessert which I liked and so was the gulab kulfee
This place is great and very well decorated, Neat and Clean and nice space. Very decent lighting work.
Comfortable seating, not clustered at all. A good space between two tables.
Food was good and nicely presented. Good portion. High side price but the restaurant is way better than it. Formal and professional staff, polite and excellent service.
I highly recommend this place.
It was a wonderful experience dining at Baluchi, The Lalit. The staff was courteous. The Biryani was one of the best I have ever had. I really appreciate the quality of food. Excellent food and best garlic naan I’ve ever had. Staff very friendly and professional. We will be back. Thank you.
I loved the ambiance and taste of food.
But this place is quite overpriced as compared to other 5-star restaurants .
The sheep was impeccably cooked.. The nalli pieces were not really good or bad delicious. The naan was so delicate and yummy. One of my preferred spot to chil. The stylistic theme of the café is so rich.Nourishments are yum.The staffs are additionally truly helpful. The amount was enormous enough. The paneer kulcha was extremely delectable and the administration was simply immaculate. Will return soon for additional.
Baluchi. The name first of all is amazing and catchy.
And of course inside THE LALIT it has a special place.
Last night I had my dinner there..
What I ordered-
1-mutton rogan josh.
2-garlic naan.
3- meetha paan and rasmalai.
Will start with main course. The mutton was perfectly cooked.. The nalli pieces were so so tasty. The naan was so soft and yummy.
And then the desert. It was Fabolous. It felt like I'm sitting in heaven when I tasted it.. Dam good it was.
The stafs were so well behaved. Even I met the shef , he was very humble and sweet. I even had my breakfast here today. The ambiance is just fantastic. It was a lovely experience. Will surely visit soon.
The ambience and the food was good only flaw that I felt was the services. The service was quite slow, apart from the services everything was perfect and upto the mark. Would love to visit again.
Stupendous experience dining at Baluchi with family. The quantity of food was ample enough to serve the strong appetite. I appreciate the friendly staff for their prompt service.
Amazing place, specially Chef Sajjan who advised me about the restaurant special delicacies. The variety and quality of food added with smiling service was exemplary good by Mr. Suresh and Mr. Chandan. Will visit again for sure.
Great family dining place with buzzing interiors, great food and alcohol. Price maybe 1k grand plus per dish but quantity is not compromised like some other 5 star restaurants. They have this breads basket wine combo which we ordered wherein they server different variety of breads alongwith delicious chutneys and wine. The concept didnt appeal to me first but it showed his grace once appeared on the table. A place worth going again!
The baluchi was so good if you have want to have 5 star dining in the town it was so good and had tempting food . Should recommend you to pay visit .
One of my favourite place to chill
The decor of the restaurant is so elegant
Foods are yum
The staffs are also really helpful
If u wanna plan someday
My recommendation will be aam panna balti murg
Pan kulfi
Fresh and amazing food. The quantity was big enough. The paneer kulcha was really tasty and the service was just perfect. Will be going back soon for more.
The moment chef personally attends you, makes you feel so special. Food was very delicious and the space was so quiet which I always desired for. Cafes and cafes are everywhere making it near to impossible to find a fine dining restaurant. Baluchi is the one!
I went there for my birthday, and I won't say my experience was great but it was very good.
Restaurant is very spacious and it sure gave that fine dining feel.
Coming to what we ordered-
•Palak and anjeer kabab- tender and moist
•Achari panner tikka- was little bland
•Dal baluchi-very buttery,mild taste
•Khubani kofte- good
•Mixed kulcha- we were confused in breads so staff suggested mixed variety of kulcha, they were very fluffy and full of taste

Our approximate bill was 7200, and you can expect 1400/per person(excluding alcohol)
Staff was courteous, they extended my booking time on sunday evening even after the restraunt being so jam-packed
The evening began with some delicious breads from the Nannery at Baluchi
As the evening progressed we were lead to long and meticulously set table for our the main attraction, the #ood and wine. The animated energy of your dining companions fills the air as you wait in excitement for the magic to begin.
The menu this evening was by none other than Chef Santosh Shah of Baluchi London.
What we Loved❤️❤️❤️
The Mushroom Galouti with its subtle spices paired extremely well with the J’Noon white.
The J’Noon Red perfectly complements the velvety Kali Dal and Butter Nan of the Main course. If you are looking add a bottle of red to your collection and recommend you lay your hands of this one before it flies of the shelf
The evening ended on high note with dessert paired with the Sparkling followed by tea and coffee.
It is the signature North Indian outlet of The Lalit and rightfully so. From it's understated yet classy interiors to it's world class service and staff everything is worth appreciation. Dal Baloochi is their signature dish and it is absolutely delicious alsona must try is their meethi papad ki sabzi. The place is worth revisiting and believe me you will.
Located in The Lalit it’s one of my favourite restaurant in the hotel . The decor is so beautiful for a candle night luxurious dinner . The food is simply amazing n staff is very professionally trained . Don’t miss their paan kulfi it’s worth a try
Food -4.5/5
Ambience-4.5/5
Service-4.5/5
Had lunch here twice during my stay at the Lalit. The ambience is soothing. The decor is welcoming. The restaurant that way has a very inviting vibe to it.
The food - we’d ordered cauliflower kulcha, pudina paratha and their economy thaalis.
Everything tasted great. The paratha was perfectly spiced and flavoured. The vegetables were well cooked (surprise!) and the chicken curry was damn yummy. But the star of our order was the gulab jamun. I’ve never tasted such bliss before. It was soft and the sugar syrup wasn’t the usual sweet mess you find everywhere else.
Service was prompt and they didn’t take much time to serve us. That’s rare in five star hotels.

I went this place for dinner!with family ! We had lot many things like dal makhni, breads, desserts nd more eatables . I like the food nd the quality..!! Service was great too!!
It was a fantastic experience. We had stew with Palak Methi and Yellow Daal. This combination was suggested by the Captain there. I really liked it
Baluchi at The Lalit is a good restaurant. The food and service is good. If the restaurant is busy you might have to wait for the food. It has a huge wine cellar and has good ambience
Baluchi at The Lalit exuberates warmth and class. The place is perfect for a quiet evening with friends, family or that special someone.
The Naanery provides a carefully curated culinary experience to tantalise all your senses.
It pairs a trio of Indian breads with three wines and dips.
The first is the Pheni Parantha which is a crunchy layered bread with oodles of butter paired with a carrot dip and York Sauvignon blanc. Next is the Gilafi Kulcha which is a spicy flatbread with strong punch of black pepper in the very first bite and slowly is taken over by the sweetness of double layered bread. It is paired perfectly with a radish dip and Fratelli's Sette which is a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovesse. The last but not the least is the Bakarkhani which is a traditional flat bread from Bangladesh. This is beautifully paired with a papaya dip and Sula Brut.
Apart from the Naanery experience, do not forget to try Dal Baluchi which is quintessential to complete any Indian meal.
The Food and Ambiance is really great specially there private dining area is very nice and the food is authentic North Indian food. Must try their Pan Briyani and Dahi ke kabab which they make on special request as Dahi Kabab is not on their menu also Subz Vilayati and Gutta Kadi is worth trying overall experience is enjoyable with family
Must try
Great place to dinning. Best staff ever heart melting hospitality specially Sanjay was in his full Swing.
Had a good time with my friend. Will definitely visit for your great hospitality
I really liked Sugarcane juice, chicken tikka was juicy and properly grilled - must try, Fish tikka was good, then we ordered Balti chicken in main course as per the steward recommendation, the taste was nice but display was very poor it should be served in the Balti not in normal handi, the chef has apologised coz there was shortage of Balti but such things are not acceptable from The Lalit Group. If you are Pan asian food lover then should try once.
Always wanted to visit this place...not because of the 5 star rating but because of the legacy of the lalits.... Ate a chicken dish and was really impressed by the attitude and warmth of the server... Great place to visit because once you enter the hotel wow comes out from the mouth just seeing the hall....
So i grabbed a coupon from nearbuy to relish my taste buds with baluchi's buffet. So if you are a north indian food lover then this is a perfect place to grab some tasty food. As compared to other 5star restaurants it lacked dishes from different countries. Japanese food is discontinued from baluchi. Fish was my fav among all the dishes i tasted. Had a good variety of chicken mutton and fish. Had a lot of variety for vegetarians as well.
we choose baluchi for birthday celebration ..good food good service well groomed staff hospitable, ambience all r good..the guy neeraj was served us good service by neeraj ..keep it up
Absolutely lip-smacking north indian food that would make one feel really happy inside. Impeccable service and the overall experience is just too good!!! The non veg selection was so good that i felt i shouldnt be a vegetarian anymore!! 😛
Great place ...I wish I had visit earlier...had gone for a quiet dinner and it turned out to be a pleasent experience...food is really good and service top notch...ambience is classy
Must visit and worth visiting again
Went to Baluchi on Tuesday night and is located in the heart of Delhi. As it was a Tuesday nightly be that’s why it was almost empty. Ordered vegetarian main course it was well cooked and the taste was also up to the mark. Service staff was friendly. Baluchi was not that pocket friendly.
One of the well know restaurant brand of the Lalit hotels. It was my second visit on Baluchi earlier I visited Baluchi in Jaipur. Food was good even the ambience. We tried Murg tikka makhanwala and paneer lababdar, was one of the best ever I had.
On desert I tried Gulkand Gulab jamun which was amazing as always .
With the influx of modern cuisines in our culinary scenario, we’re guilty of slyly shifting away from our diverse and rich roots, getting charmed by the fancier-looking foreign delights. While it may deem necessary to have a wide palate, coming back to our own food is what we’d seek comfort in.
The best part of a blogger life is that they get insight into the chef's vision. Yesterday was the same. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Executive Chef Ashish Sanyal, who has flown from banglore to showcase the indian food in a modern way keeping the favours intact. Some interesting twists that worked really well. Scallop paturi was the star dish. It was an afternoon full of knowledge sharing, wisdom and great insight into restaurant industry. He for sure is someone we should look upto. An inspiration for the young generation who are getting into food industry. Festival is on till 22nd and don't miss the food and chat with chef. He has very interesting stories to share.
Oh and not to forget the lamb chop with lemon rice aranchini - I will not tell you about the sauce because that's the secret. You should go and figure it out.
PS - Don't miss lehsun ( garlic) ki kheer and pan barfi.
It was a great experience to hav dinner with my family Dal Baluchi and khubani kofta was quite good at taste Their Hospitality was nice along with ambience of restaurant
The hotel chain has a series of Chef’s Pop-Ups lined up in its hotels. The idea is to bring flavours and regional cuisines of each city to the other. We had our taste to Amar Sonar Bangla and the restaurant's traditional northwest frontier fare. The methi dishes here are to die for as is the naan platter. Then there's the traditional chicken which you can't miss.
Well , you will have a good quality food here . Some yummy non-veg food like kabab platter , kashmiri rogan josh you can taste .
Ambience is quite ok , not upto a 5* standard .
Service is good .
Food is awesome .
Overall a nice experience to be here .
Every time I visit New Delhi, I always stay at The Lalit. So once again I got a chance to experience Baluchi's delicious menu. Well actually it was a breakfast buffet but for me whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner doesn't matter as long as there's plenty of food available. And Baluchi's buffet certainly had a monstrous variety of different foodstuffs to pick from. As for me, I started with fruits - papaya, pineapple. Extremely fresh and tasty. Next I found myself filling my plate with fried rice, 4-5 hash browns and chicken sausages aplenty. Safe to say their quality is 5-star just like the restaurant and the hotel itself. Next I munched on the regular Chocos cereal and hot milk; I don't need to review the cereal do I? Lol. Anyway, the staff is very polite and welcoming and cater to your needs with absolute professionalism and hospitality. Will certainly visit here again on my next trip.
FOOD- 5/5, AMBIENCE - 5/5, SERVICE - 5/5.
Baluchi is hands-down one of the best Indian place I have tried. The starters even as basic as paneer tikka are made with perfection to sway your taste buds away. The service is classy and the decor is fancy yet simple at the same time. The food took very less time to come and the waiters were courteous. The main course was even better than the starters. Over all a perfect Indian cuisine place to go in the luxury dining sector.
Went with family and relished every bit of it! We ordered,
- Mansahari kebab ki thali : it was so delicious!! It had an irresistible assortment of non-vegetarian kebabs. From chicken to fish.. yummy!
- Murgh balti yakh : it’s chef’s special.. succulent pieces of chicken cooked in delicate masala gravy and yogurt
- Dal Baluchi : it is baluchi’s speciality dal. Simple yet rich in taste!
- Zaffrani murgh dum Biryani: I’m a Biryani lover and this Biryani didn’t disappoint me!!
- In breads, we ordered : lagsuni naan (garlic naan) , tandoori roti and warqi parantha
- In deserts, we ordered : pan kulfi, kesar kulfi, ras malai and kesari rajbhog ..out of which pan kulfi and kesari rajbhog were average.
Overall, loved the food and vibe. Amazing place to try indian food.
The restaurant has very a nice team which totally takes care of their guest with good presentation of food. It's also one of the places to go for a formal meeting of limited people.
In love with the interior and the hospitality. Once done with dinner, head to Kittu Su 😊
Overall when it comes to Baluchi, I love visiting there and one my old client used to relish this place more than anything in Delhi. His every visit to Delhi was treated here.
This is another amazing place to spend some time with your roends and family. We had dinner at Baluchi and ordered mutton biryani, paneer tikka, dal baluchi and pan kulfi at the end.
We jut had an awesome time and great meal there.
Must visit.
Baluchi has always been one of my favorite place to dine with family and friends. The place not only gives an amazing dining experience but the hospitality here is really good. The whole ambiance is really peaceful as compared to other restaurants.
I recently visited Baluchi to try their Bengali menu “Amar Sonar Bangla” which is there from 20th-30th June’18 serving some of the finest Bengali dishes. The menu has a mix of both veg and non-veg dishes.
My recommended dishes are -
1. Dhokar- deep fried bengal gram cake simmered in tomato and gram masala gravy
2. Koraishuti bhaja moonger dal- griddle roasted moong dal with green peas
3. Ghee bhaat- clarified butter infused basmati rice.
4. Peyaz postar bora - pan fried poppy seed and onion patty.
5. Sarse diye palong phool kopi -cauliflower and spinach simmer in mustard gravy.
For desserts my recommended items are Mishti Doi and Rasmalai.
In a nutshell, Baluchi has come out with an excellent Bengali menu with all authentic flavors.

The Lalit hotel provides delicious culinary experiences. Baluchi- This restaurant is located on the second floor of The Lalit. As one enters, it gives the impression of a spacious, elegant & luxurious restaurant. The seating is comfortable . I visited this property after hearing so much of praise of it's food since a long time. Undoubtedly, it exceeded my expectations. Not only the food, but the elegant interiors, classy crockery, ambience, decor and service of the staff . They were attentive and interactive.
I was here to taste the special Amar Bangla menu which offers delicious bengali cuisine.
you can get your tastebuds swooning with some delightful Bengali flavors at this place-we all know that Bengali food is cooked with traditional precision and served with equal refinement. I started off with pyaz postar bora which was a pan fried poppy seed and onion patty- totally loved the presentation. Moving on to main course, I had sarse diye palong phool kopi -cauliflower and spinach simmer in mustard gravy- it was one of my favorite dish which had strong flavours of mustard, Dhokar- deep fried bengal gram cake simmered in tomato and gram masala gravy
,
Koraishuti bhaja moonger dal- griddle roasted moong dal with green peas
,
Ghee bhaat- clarified butter infused basmati rice
. I totally relished traditional Bengali bread
-luchi with gravies. One can easily identify the myriad of flavors in each dish.
This special chef menu was prepared by
the National award winning Executive Chef Madhumita . This menu is available till 30th June . So do try these unheard delicacies .
I am sure this place won't disappoint your tastebuds.

Ambience 4/5 Service 4/5 Food 5/5 Whenever you visit this place it gives u a flying wings of making the right choice.
located at ground floor of the hotel lalit.
Baluchi has received the award of the best fine dine restaurant and it surely stands by the award and deserves it.We went to Baluchi for dinner and came out supremely happy.
To start with, the restaurant is very spacious and can accommodate a lot of people. The decor is beautiful, candle lit tables. The menu is not very vast but have good options for vegetarians. We skipped the appetiser session and jumped directly to main course. In main course we ordered Dal Baluchi,Panner Lababdar and Hindustani rotiyan from the naanrey instead of the usual Breads.
We started our supper with desi papads and chutneys. Then came our main course.Daal was cooked to perfection. It was rich and creamy in taste with a thick texture. It seemed as it was slowed simmered all day long.It had a wonderful aroma and was delicious in taste.Paneer lababdar was also delectable.Gravy was perfectly balanced with the right amount of spices. It had huge chunks of paneer.
The Hindustani rotiyan were small bite size rotiyan smaller than a Puri served with 4 different kinds of dip.Ideally it is an appetiser to be had with wine but we choose to have them with our main course. Each roti had a specific dip to go with it - tomato chutney, radish dip etc. However they were small in size but each roti had a different texture and taste. They are surely worth trying.
We had an amazing experience and a delicious meal. The staff was very kind and helpful. One thing I would like to highlight is that the quantity of the dishes is good unlike other five Star properties. We were two people and couldn't finish two dishes and had to get it parcel.A single main course dish is sufficient for 2 people. So think while ordering coz their quantity is good enough.
Awesome buffet!! In love with their food and service........hygienic, tasty and quality food. Starters and desserts are mouthwatering and you can feel the freshness in food.
Was there for a press event and got lucky to taste one of the best lunch served .Everthing was perfect tasty and well cooked.
Loved the whole experience.
Ambience - 4/5
Service - 3/5 (a little slow cuz of low staff)
Food - 4/5
Dishes
Murgi Malai Kebab - OK
Mutton Chapli Kebab - Didnt like it.
Soups - A Big No.
Dal Baluchi- Just like any other Dal Makhani
Murgi Makhani - Must try
Kashmiri Rogan Josh - OK
Gilafi Kulcha - Lachha Paranatha was better that this.
Kesar Kulfi - Amazing
Gulkand Gulab Jamun - Star of the show. Never had a Gulab Jamun this good in a life time before.
We ordered Keshari Thandai at the starting. It was nice yet not overwhelming. Safron, rose petals did justice to their contributions in the mild cold thandai. Next we decided to have tandoori pomfret- which was delicious-tender, soft, juicy with perfect masalas; but the size was not as par with its price(Rs.2500!).May be I felt the same because I had a better size promfret in another 5star hotel at the same price. Next we ordered Afghani Seekh ki Murgh- which had minced chiken in the form of hollow tube, coal fired in the sigri. It was good.
very elaborate menu...you first have to decide that you have to enjoy evening just dinning...great for luxury dinning and for anniversary dinner...presentation in particular is great...Rs. 5k-8k for 2 is reasonable compared to its peers...experience wholesome...one time try...
The food at this restaurant was quite outstanding - each dish was full of different flavors and the waiter knowledgeable with very good advice on which dishes to order to complement each other based on our initial requests. Would recommend this restaurant as a 'must' for any stay in New Delhi.
This is a place with a marvellous ambience .I go here when I crave for a relishing North Indian meal. I ordered Paneer Lababdar, gatta curry, Dal Baluchi and butter naan . Although it is expensive but undoubtedly all the food items were great but stars of the day were DAL BALUCHI AND GATTA CURRY. These are the chef's specialties. If you go to this place and don't have these then your visit is in vain !
Experience the explicit taste and aroma of this place. The Lalit is not Just a luxury dining but such fine taste in every dish. Mouth watery desserts and a wonderful experience.
Service 10/10
Food variety 10/10

Heard a lot about this place. Finally ended up for a business meeting here. Got the paneer tikka, green salad, fruit platter, masala buttermilk, dal, kadai paneer and naan. The food was good. The service was fantastic and the reason why the rating is 4 instead of 3.
Good ambience . Polite courteous staff and delicious food . The delicious dal Baluchi should be tried 👌 the Navaratri thali was nice and was a surprise to be found at such a place . And the kulfi served with Rabri was yummm 🙏👌👍
That's my fav. restaurant and if you ever been there don't forget to meet one man named Mr. Satbit Tyagi. He is the head chef there and run the place like a pro.
You will be fascinating and got Moksha, if you had a meal from his hand, which is truly divine.
that's a beautiful sunset view that I have clicked from their top most restaurant. looks amazing.
Do try Dal Baluchi.
You don't mind spending money on food & ambiance when it's a place like this.
Courteous staff and a place fit for a perfect date or even a nice family dinner. The vegetarians wouldn't be disappointed as there's a lot of variety. Opt for their buffet to enjoy the best dishes.
This is an excellent place to spent and enjoy with family and friends. Though this is an expensive place but worth spending. Vegetarians will love the items served here with great taste.

Just wanted to experience luxury dining, so tried out this place.
The ambience was simple and soothing. Kind of place where people can have a peaceful and relaxing dinner, with not much crowd and noise.
The staff was really nice and helpful, serving was great.
Now coming to the food part.
We ordered achari paneer Tikka in starters. Which was nice and quite soft. For the main course we ordered daal baluchi and kadhai panner.
For breads we ordered: Missi roti, Laccha parantha and naan. Must say, there daal baluchi is a must try. Best till date. Rest was also good, but that stole the show😅.
The prices are really expensive but it is acceptable on such a place.
Lalit is a 5-star fine dining place located in the heart of Delhi. I went to Baluchi, it's North Indian restaurant for dinner on my bday. They indeed made my day. The assortment platter is a must try. Dal makhni is heavenly. Haven't had this tasty dal in quite a long time! In breads, Hindustani roti, which is an assortment of 4 different types of breads was the highlight of day. Don't miss on this beautiful basket when you are here. They serve it with 3-4 types of chutney - papapa, tomato, pineapppe, mango. Service speed was also decent. Could improve for better though. Staff is very friendly. Definitely going here again.
Hey guys
Recently visited this fine dining restaraunt Baluchi located inside the Lalit hotel at barakhamba road, connaught place.
Nice ambience and courteous staff.
I ordered the tomato dhaniya shorba to start with. The soup was good. Great taste and nicely served.
Along with the soup i ordered paneer tikka. The qty was nice unlike other places. The dish was nicely prepared with properly mixed spices.
For the main course, i ordered tha dal baluchi, and methi papad saag which was recommended by the staff only.
Both the dishes were perfect.
The missi roti along with saag was a perfect meal.
Gulab jamun, kesari kulfi and the pan kulfi were all yumm. The gulab jamun was too soft and perfect stuffing.
All in all, a very nice place for some indian food with a great taste, lovely ambience and some lovely ppl around.
Thanks
During my visit to Baluchi in Delhi, I was impressed by the upscale and fancy interior, which immediately sets the tone for a luxurious dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance is truly noteworthy and contributes to a refined atmosphere.
The service was another positive aspect of my visit. The waiter was attentive, friendly, and added a pleasant touch to the overall dining experience.
However, when it came to the food, I found myself with mixed feelings. I opted for the Butter Chicken, a classic favorite. While it was satisfactory, I couldn't help but feel that it lacked that extra something to make it truly remarkable. The dish was decent but not particularly captivating.
In conclusion, Baluchi offers a fancy and sophisticated ambiance, complemented by friendly and attentive service. While the food, like the Butter Chicken, falls into the okay category, it doesn't quite reach the level of fascination I was hoping for. If you're seeking a refined dining environment with decent cuisine, Baluchi might still be worth a visit.
It was our wedding anniversary and we had arranged a poolside candle light dinner. From the moment we had entered Baluchi, we were treated with utmost respect & humility. The service was impeccable by Mr.Pramod. He made our anniversary even more special by taking care of the tiniest of our need. The ambience is just FAB out there and it will make you fall in love all over again! The starters & mocktails were delectable. All in all, it was a rewarding experience :)
In my 3 experiences here, i have never found this place to be bad but not even found it to be something out of the world.
It's just decently good, Indian food in a great ambience with good service. On a recent visit for the Indian Wine Day we had a a nicely curated dinner here.
Stayed in the hotel and so decided to try their restaurant, the food is just incredible. It's hard to describe in words. Waiters are dressed in Rajasthani outfit and at the end of the meal the chef comes out to say hello to all the tables. Their wine selection is awesome too.
A must try out place to experience variety of dishes with their near authentic taste. Although the pricing might be to the pricy end, a little bit, let it not deceive of the taste offered as well as the ambience.🤌
Baluchi at The Lalit is a good restaurant. The food and service is good. If the restaurant is busy you might have to wait for the food. It has a huge wine cellar and has good ambience
The staff here is suited and booted. The food most definitely is amazing. As we were shown to our table my friend and I walked past the wine bottle counter and saw beautifully presented wine bottles of fine dining delights. I got adventurous with my main - choosing the vegetarian course. I took a lovely turn down memory lane with this dish - their signature biriyani. Thankfully my food envy was no more once my dessert arrived - rasamalai. My first crack into the wobbly texture was pure joy. It was the most refreshing dessert I had tasted in a long time. The relaxed unpretentious feel of this place together with the tremendous skill at work in the kitchen means this place doesn’t need to talk up its credentials.
Best Indian food in town. They got wide options and amazing taste. Staff is very polite and supportive.
Stayed in the hotel and so decided to try their restaurant, the food is just incredible. It's hard to describe in words. Waiters are dressed in Rajasthani outfits. Nice to have such food.
It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining.
Very generous portions for a 5 star..keep it up
