It became our favorite place to have breakfast during our stay in New Delhi. Food is wonderful (Bombay eggs, masala omelette railway and the banana pancake), atmosphere is great, staff is very pleasant. Just disappointed by the toilets that are outside and not as modern and clean as the café…
Food (4/5) : healthy and delicious 💯
Service (4/5) : provides fast service. ✌️
Ambience (5/5) : A place less crowded and surrounded by a beautiful art museum. 😊
Price (4/5) : since the quality of the food is great so is the price. ✌️
The food was healthy but heavy, they should mention the calories
A menu unlike anything I’ve ever seen. From Dishes you barely see elsewhere or might not even have heard of, this place delivers all and how. It brings an essential charm to the indian cuisine from various corners of the country.
This place located in the National Crafts Museum, right next to Praga

Great place to have food at. This was the first time at Cafe Lota. Had 4 things:
1. Ragi Paneer Dhokla
2. Palak Patta Chat
3. Sandeep Prawn Fry
4. Sarso Ka Swaag and Makke Di Roti
Everything was great. The chef must knew what any dish is great at eating.
Located inside handicrafts museum this place is a hidden gem, the food is good and easy on pocket, you'll like the place if you prefer calm, cozy vibes over loud music though there should be some soothing music in the background which was the only missing here.
definitely recommend this to everyone
Great good with great service. We went on Sunday 1pm around, had to wait 20mins. But soon after that waiting was over 80mins. Parking is a hustle here. Parking area is near just before Gate no. 2 and very small. But parking valet is available.
Food is great and menu has a good variety of cuisines.
The food is certainly good and service reasonably prompt. There is def a waiting time.
Not sure about the "ambience" hype of the place.. Its just ok I would say. Being located inside a nice museum complex is certainly a plus.
Today I had the privilege of experiencing a culinary journey at Cafe Lota, where I had the opportunity to sample an array of their dishes, an experience that left me profoundly impressed.
1. The mini rava idlis with molgapodi were a splendid prelude to the meal, featuring an exquisite harmony of fl
Yesterday I visited lota cafe for lunch. The ambiance was very nice and cozy with lip smacking snacks. The best part was Kerala chicken masala. The staff were very cooperative and friendly. They step out from the cafe to the entrance just to click pictures for me. It’s a must try!
The food was great, the atmosphere was very cool.
This cafe serves a very decent menu, the sabji was fantastic.
It was a very calm & inviting place, The cost was a bit high, but it was okay if you got served food like this.
Must visit if you are visiting Pragati Maidan anytime for business purpos
A great place for food and conversations. It's not very loud and you can have a discussion with some great food options.
We had kerela style chicken, ragi chicken momos, Mansa chop, kokum Sharbat, masala chaach followed by Bappa doi cheese cake and the kulfi. I loved everything except the kulfi and
A beautiful place for food. The ambience is beautiful.
Parking is available.
Service is excellent.
The staff is polite.
Perks are - you can get Thalis of different states. Himachli food, kumauni food, sattu paratha and other stuff is available here.
The menu is versatile. Portions are sufficient.

Had a pleasant experience. Tried their limited time Bengali food festival. The food was delicious. There was a wait time of 30 mins but it’s worth the wait. Ambience is calm and pleasant.
THE FOOD AFFAIR: Cafe Lota offers hand-picked culinarily-crafted delicacies in the most creative way; with delicious regional cuisines across India, presented with an interesting healthy twist option...like Palak patta Chat, ragi Dhokla, katlah biryani, Bhappa Dohi Cheese Cake, bajre ka chila, hibis
We went there to see the museum but were tempted by the cafe's ambience. We had their masala chai, sabudana popcorn, mochar chops and the fish tikka all of which were fantastic and well prepared.
The food and atmosphere is very good , tries their snacks and they were air fried and tasty which was a huge plus .
Service on the other hand is very slow , waited 20 mins and after reminding 4-5 times the service was given .
This cafe has an amazing ambience, it offers great food that will definitely be an amazing experience.
They have a variety to offer, both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian. A must visit place!
