Keep this place to your close-friend circle. Good place to chill and have butter naan along with paneer tikka masala. The view from the rooftop is beautiful and so is the lemon mint smoothie. Loved the veg sizzler and the ambience.
Mausam- A lovely place for lunch on winter afternoons. It's quite, gets some sun, looks adorable, and overlooks the busy main bazaar, and does not have music to interrupt you when you are talking.
Khana- The chicken tikka, Afghani tikka, seekh kabab, chicken pakode, and schnitzel (another chicken pakoda because why the hell not?!?) all successful satisfy the carnivore in you as they did for us.
Mezbaan- The service is nice and the food is served quickly too, but you're in Paharganj so that's not really what you came for, right?
Well, this is now my go to place at night from now on. The ambience is quite amazing from this roof top place.
The North Indian food is also amazing. Loved it quite a lot, especially the main course. Didn't try the snacks.

I had been looking for places in Delhi which are open all night and to my surprise, found this beautiful cafe in Paharganj which is open all night, they close from 5-7 in the morning for cleaning.
The ambiance is cool and the food is amazing. Had Chicken Penne Pasta in Red Sauce and Chciken Noodles and loved both of them, every bit. Ended with an amazing Aloo Paratha which was just perfect.
Add to that decent service and very reasonable prices. A must go if you are a night wanderer.
My experience with this rooftop restaurant was really amazing. First of all the place is so amazing it has got that peaceful vibe where you can come anytime (24 hours open) and chill, they have got so many varieties in their menu, we ordered chicken Biryani and Noodles, they were so good i really think that the chefs pay attention to the quality and the hygiene. It was my first visit to Delhi and this place was highly recommended by one of my local friends. The restaurant is located on the terrace of the Hotel Shelton. The rooftop place is quite chic in design, featuring wooden tables, comfortable sofa seating arrangements and a pool table. Initially, we opted for a Chocolate Shake and a Mango Smoothie as it was noon and quite hot outside. Meanwhile we also decided to play pool, and booked the table for an hour (for INR 200). After enjoying some rounds of pool, we finally called for some food. I ordered Chicken Reshmi Kebab and Chicken Fried Rice, whereas my friend ordered Paneer Tikka with Butter Naan. The food took a while to get served but we were not disappointed as the dishes were hot and flavoursome. We were in the city for a transit and spend almost 3-4 hours here but it was really worth it. Even the staff never made us feel unwelcome the entire time we were there. Can recommend to those who are looking for a laid-back place to chill with their friends.

Lifesaver at 2:30 AM. Arrived in Delhi late at night and was desperate for food, kitchen cafe did not disappoint. Had their pasta and biryani which were great. Was surprised that they had their full menu even so late at night. The place is very chilled out and each table has a charging point, very convenient for travelers. Ended up here on a Friday night / Saturday morning at around 3.45 am. The place is quite pretty with the lighting being a little shady in some parts of the roof . Though the calmness of Delhi kind of strikes you in this rooftop in the wee hours of the morning.

The noodles were decent with the taste being quite alright although it was a bit too oily for my liking. The masala tea is alright and the coffee was nicely done. The service is nice and laid back and you cannot expect anything more at 4 in the morning.

Visited this place based on reviews from zomato, the plus were the open air lounge sitting, a big screen playing a football match and a pool table.
Downs were non-restricted smoking zone, anyone can smoke anywhere at this place, a big put off for me in particular.
Food was good, i went for safe bet with paneer bhurji n paratha n was content with the quantity n quality of the food.
Overall a good place for smokers to hangout n enjoy the space, smoke n food.
The breakfast here is good and economical, for dinner or lunch avoid anything that might have too much oil in it (fried rice etc.). manager, was friendly, attentive and tried to make our breakfasts as pleasant as possible. Kitchen cafe is a good place for hippies, tourists and solo travelers. The ambiance is friendly and the staff courteous. The open rooftop space is full of green and is well maintained. Try out their authentic expresso lungo, assam tea and sandwiches. The prices are moderately priced. One can get cigarettes there. One of their primary cons is that THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH.
Food taste is just OK, price is slightly more expensive than the ordinary indian restaurants. The view from the roof top is great. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Well, the only place which comes to mind after you are done with your party. Coz its there for you all night long. And to that food quality is appreciable considering there very less options with dine in option at those ofd hours. Cherry on the cake, you have pool table as well. Its a nice place and the most often we visit for the extended hangouts!

This cafe definitely stands out in the Paharganj area because of their decent ambience, outdoor seating and good food. I felt that the service was a bit slow but the staff were well mannered. Prices are reasonable and the quality of the food was decent nothing exceptional. If you like to play pool then do have a pool table.

Chilli Chicken : It had nice chunks of chicken and had lots of garlic but tasted good.
Chicken Pakora: Very flavorful and i was also happy with the quantity as it had eight pieces.
Kadhai Chicken : It was a bit spicy for my palate.
Chicken Do Piyaza : Tasted very good and garlic naam complimented the gravy.
Cappuccino : To end off your meal, Cappuccino wss perfect.
If I visit Paharganj again will definitely visit Kitchen Cafe Roof Top Restaurant.

Heard about the kitchen cafe roof top restaurant from my friends so went there with them. The restaurant is located on the roof of Shelton Hotel and they are having outdoor sitting. The ambience of the outlet is descent and decor is also good.In the food we go for the starters that includes manchow soup in starting followed by bharwan aloo chilman,veg manchurian and tandoori mushroom.with them we ordered soft drinks. The service is little slow and the food is average in taste but I like the roof top concept.
Nice rooftop place to get a good view of pahar ganj while enjoying your food. Food is decent and prices are moderate. Will surely visit again

Tandoori Mushroom- Rightly spiced and hence tasted nice.
Paneer Makhani- Had a tomato flavor which was nothing too good.
Chicken Butter Masala- Had a creamy texture with a nice tomato gravy.
Indian Biryani- Had the non-vegetarian one, tasted just fine.
Overall, dining at Kitchen Café was a fine experience and I look forwarding to visiting it again.

Sometimes the best of places can be in obscure locations which is very unfortunate since not everyone gets to experience it.. The kitchen top is one of such places.. (Tucked deep inside the pahar ganj main mkt, 15 mins walk from the n delhi rly station main gate).. I came to know of this via the zomato site and decided to pay a visit..
This is on the top floor of the Shelton hotel.. You will have to take an old style two door manual iron gate wala lift to reach it. The ambience is quite different and for that reason is such a welcome change.. Half of the seating area is in the open (perhaps to be used only after dusk when the outside temp is comfortable). The second half is covered by a tin shed and is serviced by an old styled desert cooler..
The entire seating area bears a red hue.. The seats are dark red in colour, the walls are painted red and the stewards wear a red dress.. Quite catching to the eye, i must say..
I found the prices to be reasonable,less than what i had expected..
I ordered sweet lime soda, kadhai paneer and roti.. The service was a little slow but the food was tasty.. Albeit had a little more oil than desired.. The rotis were very soft and fluffy and just melted in the mouth.. The kadhai paneer had about 5 large fresh paneer pieces.. Only that the lime soda had quite a few undissolved sugar crystals..
Overall quite a nice experience.. I would say a must visit in a group of 4 to 6...the seating area is not at all congested and feels quite airy..
I am deducting 1 point for slow service and the not so good location.. The stewards serve you well, and with a smile, too.
This place is the best place to be for people looking to relax after party.. Go in a nice weather and u wont feel that you are in delhi.. Mid night silence+nice weather+ this place+ amazing food= a perfect nightout..!

As I'm a regular customer, I had a major problem with this person sitting at the counter. His name is Chand.
He has no etiquettes to talk to a customer. He misbehaved with many of them. He also intruded our privacy .
He is new and he should either be told to behave or should be transferred.
I have never had any issues before here. The staff is very friendly. All the helpers are really well behaved.
And yes the pool table is definitely something you won't get all night and day with food, anywhere else.

Dont go here keeping high expectations for food but visit here at night, this will surely be your new post party place. Wandering after party made us to look for something sort of place. Bit difficult to search but its heaven at night. Very few people are aware of this place and i am glad about it. We ordered ice coffee , mocha , blended cold coffee. They have some good range of coffee at some good price. I dont like chicken burger and white sauce pasta but when it comes to pancakes, you can try their banana chocolate pancake to satisfy your sweet tooth at such odd time. They have easily accessible Pool table. Paharganj is full of roof tops. It offers some of the good place to hangout nearby 👍
Well finally today we went to this cafe after reading all the reviews I was excited...it's a 24 hrs restaurant n best thing I liked is the ambience..we had burgers n sandwiches which were good ..coffee was also nice... An amazing place to relax with friends, or crash after parties!! It's a winter only place, a lovely rooftop , a very friendly staff to cater to ur whims and most of all an ambiance which makes you sit there for hours!! There is no other place I would suggest to all the night dwellers!!
The most amazing 24x7 place in Delhi great people great food and awesome service the blanket area is divine. The coffee is lovely and they provide you with heaters and a bonfire in the winters..

Wandering around in the market made us visit this restaurant which was a bit difficult to locate as it was our first visit. We ordered a chicken grilled sandwich which was bland for my taste bud but was worth having, the chicken sizzler were superb but were too little as per the amount. The rice & veggies were to dry. There was absolutely nothing with which the rice could be eaten! Since the two little pieces of chicken was tasty it was eatable. The chicken sweet corn soup was great but a tad too sweet for my taste but i still liked it. The cold coffee was okay. And definitely an extra Brownie point for its ambience.... !

The best part about the cafe is that it opens 24 hours... So if u are on night out with friends stuck somewhere in the middle of the night and look for shelter this place will be your saviour... Awesome place in Main bazar with the local indian food. The restaurent is open and it gives good view of the whole area. one can see the view of Main bazar upto new Delhi railway station . The food is tasty and reasonable priced.

Good value for money and good view. The mango mint shake is very delicious. Drinks are all made of filtered water according to their menu.
I place you should visit in winters since it's on a open roof. The food was nice, the place was clean and the staff was good. The non veg platter is something you should definitely try.
