Every state has their own Bhavan in Delhi to cater their state food culture to the local people. This place is located near to India Gate and is quiet popular for authentic Andhra delicacies. They open for breakfast where they serve Idli, Vadas, Dosa, Coffee and Tea. The meals are served in lunch and dinner and the thalis are the highlight here. Almost every table is occupied with a thali eating person. It becomes very crowded in peak times but they have a huge seating capacity. They have a coupon system and on that basis you are alloted the seat. They manage the crowd very well. Even the service here is very prompt, one of the fastest I have seen. Surely a must visit place here in Delhi for Andhra meal. Relish the taste of Andhra.

AMAZING is the word to define the food. You get unlimited food at a reasonable price that tastes heavenly it includes a sweet dish too, thee chicken and mutton side dishes are heavenly but, I would recommend you to focus on the thali and the veggies as they go unappreciated before the side dishes. Also do the try yellow powder already kept on the table known as gun powder, it's an Andhra speciality and the mouth watering aam ka achaar. You can also try the paan which is sold at an unbelievable low price and is one of the best too.

Exceptionally quick service, despite the lunch hour chaos. You cannot find anything more affordable, authentic and delicious in central Delhi. Although, a little bit of sprucing up could do wonders to this place but who cares when you can get authentic cuisine at throwaway prices.

Andhra bhavan was one of the places where i always wanted to dine. Today I had an opportunity to lunch here. It's very simple and quite place....you come, pay for your food and wait for the food to be served. Thali is what everyone has to order and you can order non veg items by paying extra. Dry mutton the famous item on their menu was better than average. Prawn curry was below average. It's less of prawn curry more of tomato gravy. Coming to thali, it's simple home made style food. Loved the ample quantity of ghee they served along with unlimited food. Food was puri, rice, dal, sambhar, rasman. 2 types of vegetables.
The service is quick and staff are attentive. Will try the place again on Sunday that's the only day when they serve biryani.

Unlimited Thali of Andhra Delicacies with mild but distinctive flavours. I was overwhelmed seeing too many options on a plate. Started off with their Yellow Dal, Roti, Chutney, authentic Eggplant Curry, Beetroot Curry accompanied with Curd, Papad, Chutney.
I Paired sambhar with rice. Rasam was Outstanding.
Ended the meal with Rava Kesari.
I totally recommend it🙋

The title of my survey " Finger Licking Food" is totally to be followed....... So as to appreciate this spot and the astonishing luxurious nourishment, you have to eat with hands and not utilize cutlery.

Well this spot is the best place for incredible nourishment, at the most moderate costs that the rich and the poor can eat together.

The administration is something which the best cafés on the planet needs to learn. While the café is 100% full, not a solitary table is disregarded by the staff and the speed of administration is extremely quick.

I went to this place after such a long time that I hardly remembered the feel of it. I wanted to visit a nice POCKET FRIENDLY place with my family and so I chose this plus it is CENTRALLY LOCATED, so very convenient to reach. The only minus is that it closes at 10pm which is pretty early as compared to other places.

Anyways, We were a family of six and our bill was only RS. 1100 :)

We had the unlimited thali which is priced at RS. 140 each. It had 2 vegetables, one dal, one curd, yummy raita, and kesar halwa and roti, papad and rasam and sambhar. The thali is unlimited except for the sweet dish, for which you have to pay Rs. 20 for extra portion. For non-veg dishes such as chicken, mutton, fish and prawn you need to pay extra per plate ranging from RS. 160 to 200 and the quantity is a bit less but the TASTE IS AMAZING !!

In Veg thali, I loved the Baingan Aloo sabzi, raita and the kesar halwa. The rotis were served fresh and rice was also of good quality.

But the main thing running this place is not the economical food but the EXCELLENT SERVICE AND COURTEOUS STAFF. I mean, we used to get refill of our sabzis and rotis and rice even before we had to ask them for it. I was super impressed. TRULY A MUST VISIT PLACE!

I heard a lot about Andhra Bhawan. So, I finally made a visit. And I must thank myself for visiting this place. A must visit place if you want to have a south India experience in Delhi. Firstly, you will get the environment of south India there with all the people and shops selling from Andhra Pradesh specialities in the shops build in open space. Be prepared to wait for your turn though, this place is crowded for lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Food is delicious and it gets crowded during lunchtime. Affordable price and good quality. Not just Andhra people, people from all the states come there to have the food.
Then this canteen of Sai caterers will fill your appetite with their delicious Thali. They feed you so much love and then you really have to tell them to stop. Had the unlimited veg thali which cost 140 bucks and it was value for money. The thali consisted of dal, aloo gravy, South Indian mix veg ( cooked in a very different style and it did taste amazing, curd, papad, rasam, sambhar, rice and dessert. Loved each and every item. The curries were tangy and sour. The dessert (halwa) tasted like a mashed gulab jamun. Left the place with a heavy stomach and a great taste on the tongue. It's a simple place where you will get an amazing taste of south Indian food and price are really good and cheap. Staff and services are also good and the service you food in very less time.

Its a south Indian paradise in North India. Very authentic Andhra food, which is why it attracts the huge crowd.

We had lunch here and we ordered a thali. One can get non veg or very according to their preferences. Both are equally good and has a number of dishes alongside rice.

Definitely worth visiting!

If you are looking for authentic Andhra food then this should be in your bucket list. Andhra Bhavan. You have a great variety of veg and non-veg dishes. Everything on the menu is just delicious. Most recommended is their South Indian Thali which is served in lunch. For non-veg lover, you can always order their  Chicken Curry, Mutton Curry and Fish Fry are absolutely finger-licking. You will always find this place busy so might have to wait for 10-15mins. On Sunday you can also have Chicken Biryani at lunch.  The staff is usual. Loved the food.

Loved the food they serve with passion. Different taste and eat till you get too full. Worth to spend money.
One star less because they should give fried rice repeatedly as they do for plain rice and pooris, as just one scoop they provide by which you can't have proper taste of it.

Paradise for homely food and extremely pocket friendly. The house thali is all vegetarian, comprising brinjal, dal and some other sabzi along with unlimited roti, rice and papad. Be ready to roll your sleeves and dig into the rice with ghee and gun powder. The thali costs 150-170 bucks and you can get add ons like mutton fry/curry, chicken fry/curry. Most mind-blowing mutton fry, watch out for the spice though. Chilled thumbs up and rawa kesari halwa to finish it all up.

Must visit it friends who love food (spicy food)

I have been visiting this place for quite some time for its healthy and delicious breakfast. They have a standard set menu for breakfast and not a-la-carte.
Their breakfast menu is a 3 course breakfast meal, they first serve you idli/vada, then dosa and at last filter coffee(you can ask for tea instead if u happen to be a tea person). Every item is freshly cooked and super flavourful.
Though they hike the prices at regular intervals, it still is one the best when it comes to value for money. Last time I visited this place, which is almost a month ago, the breakfast menu price was eighty bucks per person.
I would rate them as follows:
Taste :5/5
Portion Size : 5/5
Value for Money :5/5

Addition : I went for their Breakfast again today after a couple of months, i am not happy with the taste as few street side stalls serve food of better taste than what I tasted today. Nothing tasted good except the coffee. I am changing the rating to 4 which was 5 earlier. I would rate them as 3 but being lenient as they have served very delicious food in the past.
This is a business where they can't take customers for granted, as people come to this restaurant for authentic dining experience they used to bring to the table. I hope they will improve soon.(Fingers Crossed)

Went there as have heard so many good things from everyone about the lunch-Thali.

Had the unlimited veg Thali which costed 140 bucks and it definitely is a value for money.

I can totally say that this place serves one of the best Dal-Rice-Ghee combo I have ever had in my lifetime.

Don't expect comfortable dine in from here. It is basic canteen or you can say like college mess with minimal infrastructure, not very hygienic too.

This is definitely one of the must-tries if you are visiting some place nearby and want to explore State Bhawan Canteens.

Not worth it to specially come and eat here.

Also, on weekends and peak lunch hours, be prepared for longgg waiting hours.

The thali consisted of dal , aloo gravy, South Indian mix veg ( cooked in a very different style and it did taste amazing, crispy and dry baingan ki sabzi, curd, papd, a small portion of lemon rice, rasam, sambhar , rice , chappati and dessert. If you want to have a genuine taste of South Indian meals (thali), do visit, preferably for dinner (7.30 to 9.30). If you go during lunch time, you will be astonished at the crowd waiting in queue. Ambience is just a normal south hotel. If you expect ambience and want to spend time over food, definitely this is not the place. Go-eat-exit. Done. Non-veg is a worth try. Affordable pricing. Just for a good food, do visit.
