Recently, I tried ordering food from Pindi. I was so amazed by the quality & quantity they serve. Extremely commendable. The prices were also decent as per the portions. Dal makhni and kadhai paneer are totally recommend from my side. Their assorted tandoori platter is also to die for ❤️

Food- Chicken Bharta was absolutely delicious with authentic flavours from the north. Spicy shredded chicken gravy melts in your mouth. Quantity was generous that could be shared by three people. We chose paratha to savour the dish.
Lassi was a served in a big glass that would serve 2 people and was chilled. Buttery and simply yummy.
Service- Quick and prompt.

As it is situated in Pandara Road, the popularity is immense and is a well known entity among people of all age groups🙂 Though the aged resonate with it much better as the restaurant has been there since 1948😮
The quality of food and ambience of the place did go down some years back, but the recent renovation has made sure Pindi is back in the competition against its other 3 contemporaries located in the same area😇
I made a visit to Pindi recently after many years and I wasn't disappointed😬 We ordered for:
1. Butter Chicken: 4/5. It was good but definitely not among the best that I know.
2. Laal Maas: 5/5. Very spicy and the mutton pieces were cooked to perfection😀
3. Garlic Naan: 3/5. The naan dough should have been softer and the garlic flavour wasn't pronounced😑
4. Mirchi Paratha: 4/5. The paratha was fine as expected.
Service was great, the staff made sure we had a good experience😎
A meal for two will cost you around 2000, which is on the higher side but then nobody expects a pocket friendly meal at Pandara😐
One unique fact about all the restaurants at Pandara Road is that in this age of service charges, the restaurants still not levy any kind of service charge and believe in customers letting themselves tip the waiters if they feel satisfied🤗
Our dinner at Pindi was quite good but I felt that the prices were a bit on the expensive side as compared to other restaurants. The restaurant has good ambience & the staffs were good with the service too.

Located in the very famous Pandara Market Area, Pindi is one of the oldest restaurants. It started out as a really small place. You can read it's history in the pics attached. For starters we ordered Mutton barra which was aaaahmazing! Really loved the smokey flavors. Not in a mood to try butter chicken, we ordered Maktaban mutton which is basically achari mutton. It was really tangy and the mutton was soft and tender. Tasted good with karaari tandoori roti. Although I ordered ginger ale they gave me the canned variety which I dont like much! The staff is very courteous and the ambience is quite good. A must visit place!
Went to pindi for the first time ...we ordered mutton Rogan Josh, chicken Tikka masala , butter roti and rice ...the food was very yumm, however the mutton was not very well cooked the chicken was a real yum dish ... It was our first time here as we wanted to try something different this time, as we usually only visit Gulati’s.
So starters included veg kebab platter, dahi k kebab and in main course we ordered dal makhani, malai tikka , Kadai Paneer and chicken.
The food was overall good except for the Malawi tikka which we didn’t really like.
Service and staff are prompt and attentive to the needs.
This place is located at the famous pandara road. The staff is here is welcoming and we were warmly greeted by them even before entering this place. They quickly seated us comfortably. The place is small and cozy with well lit yellow lights.
The service here was quick and prompt and extremely friendly.
For the appetisers, we ordered amritsari fish tikka, crispy chilli vegetables and fruit punch for the drink.
The vegetables were nice, crisp and good in quantity. The fish was really soft, infused with perfect flavours which simply melted in mouth. Quite impressed with the fish.
For the main course, we ordered dal makhni with lachha parantha, stuffed gobbi kulcha and mix vegetable parantha. The dal makhni was extremely delicious and good in quality as well as quality. And all the bread choices were nice.
Overall, great place to enjoy an amazing dining experience when it comes to North Indian cousine. Had a great time :)

Went with a bunch of friends after watching millions of reviews on Zomato and YouTube. The place was fully packed as we had to wait for an approximate 10 minutes to enter. As soon as we did, we could only see foreigners! The service was quite good. We ordered TANDOORI CHICKEN TIKKA as starters.
The quantity was okayish yet the dish tasted well. It wasn't too spicy but I relished the flavours in which it was cooked. For the main course, we ordered the very famous PINDI BUTTER CHICKEN and Garlic naan. I totally loved the butter chicken. The chicken pieces were huge and marinated very well. The gravy was heavenly and not at all heavy!
This is a must try place if you are a butter chicken lover! Kudos :)
A very famous and common place for tourists. It has long waiting queues specially during the peak hours. The food and service was pretty good. My personal favorite dish was prawn soup. The food was value for money. I will give this restaurant a 4 out of 5 stars.
Pindi is a very fine and elegant style restaurant with dreamy lights. It serves Mughlai, North Indian and Chinese food. My favourite is the Tandoori Mushroom and the butter chicken with garlic naan and tandoori naan. I also end up drinking at least 2 glasses of lime and coke whenever I’m eating here. It feels really nice enjoying the food in such a comfortable set up that the restaurant offers.
Visited this nice looking place to have some great lunch, yesterday. Initially we were planning to visit the Gulati, but on a friend's suggestion we decided to give Pindi a try. Ordered Butter Chicken, and Mutton Biryani. Butter Chicken was very good. The meal ended with an amazing, soft, warm Gulab Jamun....

Pandara market is a paradise for food lovers, the north Indian cuisine at Pindi is simply amazing, be it their mutton rogan josh or chicken tikka masala or butter chicken. Less wait time than Gulati, but one must definitely give it a try once!

A very decent place for dining. The ambience is really nice. The manager and other staff people are making a great effort towards making their customers comfortable.
Veg platter having a great variety of appetisers, were hot and spicy. Making it a very special part of the meal.

#Pindi boasts of dishes that compliment the #dilliwaalaswag, and also throws in some magical dishes from the lands of the Orient too. However, a glance across our tables and we, a group of 6 paxs (boys and girls inclusive!) just know what is right, and must be ordered. One doesn't come to Delhi and not give the masala-laden, creamy fare a miss. 😁
To satisfy the cravings of people from across the expanse of the country, we looked at ordering the following;
#LiverMasala: Chicken liver diced into edible pieces and blended with rich aromatic, India masalas, and served with a semi-thick curry. Best eaten with flat Indian bread and spicy triangular paranthas. The liver pieces were a tad hard to chew, but the gravy was excellent. The hint of black pepper and tomatoes blended together gave it an epic taste
#ButterChicken: A half portion for the three non vegetarians in the group. A thick tomato based gravy, with boneless chicken pieces cooked till tender, and eaten best with Tandoori rotis. Believe in miracles, please! 😎
#DaalMakhani and #ButterRice: Dark and light colored lentils cooked in butter, with sauteed garlic cloves, cumin seeds and white pepper. Best eaten with rotis and/or butter rice, since butter is never enough! 😘
#YellowDaal and #MirchiParanthas: A spice meets ice combination, which can be enjoyed by people from across the country. Paranthas with green chillies stuffing ably supported by a yellow colored lentils soup, low of sodium and high on proteins. Can run for President for the manner in which the orgasmic burst is managed. 🤩
#LemonCorianderSoup: Can't go wrong with this. The extra chicken pieces and sourness to the soup was what everyone enjoyed. Vinegar was added in just the right amount for a slurpicious experience
#AluParathas: Potatoes are for everyone, and when added in a Paratha, no one seems to complain. Everyone eats it, and polishes off a few in no time. These butter polished, delicately cut Alu Paratha slices were a delight to indulge into.
We tried to save space for sweet dishes, however it just wasn't possible. The above mentioned dishes left us gasping for breath, and I distinctively remember loosening up my belt to ensure my belly didn't burst!
Service at #Pindi wasn't swift, however full marks to couple of bearers who served us warm water, at our beck and call. A special mention to the Matron D, who helped us out with an attractive discount via the #EazyDiner app. Appreciate the kind gesture. 😊

Have been to this place so many times but still love ir even more when I visit it again. The food tastes yum and the aesthetics of this place are pretty pleasing too. The price of this place is quite high amounting to approx 700 rs. But, will definitely recommend this place to everybody.
An underrated place. Really nice food and ambience. The staff is courteous too. The butter chicken and dal makhani are the most famous dishes l but do try the Rarha.
Went here for lunch, the atmosphere of this restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It’s so famous among foreigners, when we went the whole restaurant was bustling and the entire place was very cozy and nice.

The non veg kebab platter is a must get, it comes with soo many different kinds of kebabs, chicken and mutton. You can’t get enough! It was the best thing I had and would 100% Recommend.

Butter chicken: it was really good. It’s not the best butter chicken I’ve had though. I’ve had better in Moti mahal. Although it was still tasty.
The chicken korma was the only thing that lacked flavour. If you plan to go here don’t get the chicken korma. It was lacklustre compared to the other things.
Butter naan: super soft and flaky, nice to eat and wasn’t chewy at all. Worth the price!
Overall everything was good besides the chicken korma, and I would visit this place again!
If you are in Delhi and you search for a hotel that gives you an authentic taste of the flavours from the region , you may trust Pindi undoubtedly .

Our wish of eating at Pandara road ended at this place Pindi.
Nice place for family dinners. They don’t serve alcohol.
They do take reservations for dinner. So you can book a table if you don’t want to wait.
Our order:
1. Non veg platter- again being a vegetarian, I will not be commenting on this. But others who had this platter, really enjoyed each and every dish served.
2. Tandoori Mushrooms 🍄- nicely cooked and great taste.
3. French fries 🍟- perfectly chopped and cooked. Anyone would feel french fries are just fried potatoes. But these were really good and crispy.
4. Kadai paneer - really good. Very soft paneer and big pieces unlike many places which serve very small pieces.
5. Butter and roomali roti - very soft roti even the tandoori one.
6. Jaljeera and fresh lime soda - jaljeera was not that great but lime water was good.
Good things about the place:
- food served was quite hot
- not much waiting time for food
- friendly staff
- customize things as per the request
- nice decor
- portions served are big
My suggestion to them- they need to pay more attention on cleanliness of the place.

Last weekend we tried this place for our dinner. The place was quite crowded and we got the table soon. The ambience of this outlet is amazing and the décor is beautiful with white theme and hanging bulbs. Now on food well we had tandoori chicken; it was amazing and along with that we also had Galouti kebab, soft and melted in our mouth. We also had Mutton Roganjosh in gravy along with butter naans. Being a big fan of butter chicken, so we decided to give Pindi a try. Already heard a lot about this place and its food and we did not felt any disappointed there. The butter chicken was really nice and creamy and more importantly it had balanced sweetness at all and it was goes well with naan. Also in starters we tried tandoori chicken and it was nice but butter chicken attracts us more. I went to this place for a small party for my friend’s birthday n had a great time there. All the starters including their special Seekh Kebabs, Chicken burra and Tandoori Chicken were simply amazing. All items served hot and quickly to us. Marvellous! I guess this is the one word that define our experience at Pindi. Brilliant food with classy ambience and decor. Went there with my family and we really had great time there on Saturday night. The starters we had was fabulous and delicious; we had chilli chicken and prawn salt and pepper, this place is famous for North Indian but they had nice Chinese too. We also had their famous butter chicken for main course and it was so delicious, I had lovely experience there and will surely be back again.
It was our first visit to this place, tried other outlet but wanted to try this one as well. So finally we went there and like the ambiance and the hospitality of staff. We had great craving for mutton so we ordered all mutton dishes; the Laal maans, Mutton Dahi wala and Keema kaleji. Looking something legendary and authentic North Indian? If yes then pandara road market has something for you, and Pindi is one of them. After heard a lot about this place, fortunately I got chance to try it with few of my friends. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, all of us like the hospitality of the staff. And the food was authentic in taste too. Do try Tandoori Chicken, brain curry and Mutton roganjosh these were aromatically delicious. We loved this place, and visit again for sure.
Lovely food! Both starters and the main course was super yummy, the place is very known for their North Indian cuisine and literally it was worth to try. Don’t forget to try their mutton seekh kebabs, Laal maans. Whatever we tried all the items were very tasty. Although they have less number of items in desserts but I loved their gulab jamun.

Pindi serve amazing Mughlai food, the place is very renowned and legendary, so if you want to enjoy the food the best time is early evening. Well we the ordered their mouth-watering Dahi Ke Kabab, Be it a vegetarian or Non Vegetarian, one must try their biryanis!
All n all the service is very good, staffs are very friendly and prompt, and ambience is good as well.
Finally I've been to this place after a long time wish it was in the wishlist for long time and last week we arrived here. The staff is very friendly and helped us to get table for five people. Pindi has good location advanatage very close to India Gate and nearby metro station is Khan market which is located hardly 400 mtrs away from this pandara road market.
We tried their special butter chicken, Dal Makhani, Kashmiri Kabab, Mutton Seekh Kebab and in the dessert we ordered Kulfi Faluda. Service was satisfactory and Prices are shocking it won’t hole in someone pocket.
Had lunch with my family. Enjoyed the starters dahi kabab, and the family said tandoori chicken was good . Stuffed vegetable kulcha had more paneer than veggie but with curd was tasty. The dal tadka was yummy and tasted well with the naan. The other dishes we ordered were also nice. Overall, the lunch was enjoyable for us. And staff is polite, served nicely and prompt. Good place for family.
Being a big butter chicken lover, I always hunt for some good place and this time I decided to give try to Pindi , though It was legendary place and heard a lot about them and this place didn’t fail to impress us. It was nice and creamy and more importantly not too sweet at all you can say almost perfect and goes well with butter naans. And for starters we tasted Tandoori chicken, it was very distinct flavour, loved it. Service and serving was great. Will definitely be going back for more.

Celebrated my mothers birthday here. I had got of many good reciews from family and friends for Pindi @ Pandara road. Ambience is decent. Service is good and food is decent too. Dal makhni was worth trying. Rest was ok. Not many options for vegetarians. I personally feel Gulati veg which is very next door to Pindi is better choice.
Finally we got chance to be here after long time. This legendary restaurant ‘Pindi’ was in our wish list. The classy interior with gentle hospitality made our day. Well we ordered some of their speciality dishes like Brain curry, Butter chicken and Dal Makhani in mains and some Kebabs in starters and in the dessert we had Kulfi Faluda. Absolutely brilliant place to have authentic North Indian food. Well this place situated on Pandara Road market and near to India Gate and nearest metro station is Khan market. Service is the best part of this restaurant and of course the food also. The serving staffs were very attentive and prompt.

This is one of the legendary place who serves authentic food and quality services and price wise worth.
Tucked away in a by-lane of Pandara Road Market, the restaurant with decent ambience and decor provides exceptionally tasty bill-of-fare. Try Mutton Burra with Dal Panchranga. Bread Basket has five different Indian roti/naan's is definitely worth a try. Kulfi and caramel custard both had a delightfully different taste. Also, the portions are good in size. Servings of sweet dishes too are exceptionally miniature.

We have ordered Shahi Paneer, Kadai Paneer Pindi Channa in the main course while we already enjoyed the soya tikka in the starter. What a gem! it’s a legendary spot adds to the impeccable atmosphere. Been there thrice-twice. first was for a weekend lunch - had a reservation but got late so had to wait for 30 mins and next was a weekend dinner. More than satisfied with the food both times. They prepare Muglai and Punjabi cuisine really well... although their dessert section requires more selection. The ambience and service nearly make up for it. Love the place, would definitely recommend to non-vegetarians with good taste.
Very renowned place in Delhi and heard a lot about the Pindi. So I keen to visit this place from so long. We ordered few of their specialty the butter chicken and Mutton Roganjosh both were outstanding perfectly blend with spices. The butter naan is fresh, soft and well cooked. Do TRY this place.
It was my unplanned casual trip to this place. We already wanted to visit some legendary place from so long and luckily our wish fulfilled that day. We went there in evening and it almost full that day with some foreign tourists and some localities. I heard about this place earlier but didn’t know much about their speciality and we experienced great vibes and the food are so succulent and seems its authenticity. They served in traditional and authentic way. We tried some of their speciality like Brain Curry, Mutton Burra and Tandoori chicken and some assorted breads, the curry and burra were awesome and bit better than tandoori chicken. But all over experience was superb and definitely want to visit again to this place.
This place “Pindi” is one of the oldest places in Delhi and serves lovely food from so many decades in Pandara Road. The place is bit classy and you will feel relaxing atmosphere. They have decent choice in Indian and chines cuisines. Foods were really lip-smacking, we love their chicken dish and chicken are perfectly cooked, tendered and flavoursome. Very nice staff, attend every customer pleasantly. Overall enjoyable place.
Wow I really had great gastronomic experience at Pindi, Pandara Road. Our visit was unplanned; we were just hanging around the India gate and via app we got this place and it is much closed to India gate, really we liked the classic ambiance and the hospitality of staff. All the food we ordered satisfied our taste buds.
The butter chicken, pindi chhole, dal makhni and gulab jamun were simply yummy. Well served and garnished, we simply loved it!
We had nice experience at Pindi, after a hectic schedule we decided to visit some classy and legendary place and this place is already in our wish list so we headed to this place. We got warm welcome gesture by the staff and guide us to choose right place for seating. The seating arrangement is nice and comfortable we also like the humbleness and attentiveness of staff. The food was exactly what we are expecting and delicious too. Must try their Butter Chicken, Mutton Roganjosh in non veg and Dal and Paneer in veg. It was amazing and memorable visit for us.
Great Place! Located in Pandara Road Market near India Gate. Admirable ambience and delicious food. We ordered Brain Curry and butter chicken, both these dishes were simply amazing and we had Dal Makhani , dal was also amazing with adequate quantity and lovely presentation. And the staffs are attentive and well mannered. Do try this place!
I visit this place with my family last week. I must say the place is amazing and they serves authentic north Indian food, such a nice family restaurant it is. Staff is very friendly and the service is also great. We ordered malai kofta, Kadhai Paneer, Dal Makhani with Butter Naan and rice, food was absolutely nice, not too much spicy and quantity of the food is also good. This restaurant is in our top list now, whenever we feel like going for a good hangout with family. My family also love this place and food.
Great place to eat.. the food is so good. It is one of the oldest in Delhi and they have still maintained the delicacy. I enjoyed my dinner there.. a must tryout for Mughlai food.. surely would not disappoint anyone.
I had lunch in PINDI with my family, classy ambience nice food. We enjoyed the starters dahi kabab, and tandoori chicken, both were superb . Butter chicken was so tasty. The dal tadka was brilliant too with the butter naan. Overall we all enjoyed our lunch. Prompt and attentive staff. Great legendary place for exquisite meal.
Excellent Place is right word for this place. The décor very nice and soothing. This place is paradise for good and authentic Indian food lover! I had Reshmi kebabs, a delicious one and perfectly marinated chicken in yogurt. In the mains I tried Roganjosh and Dal Makhani all things were very tasty and well presented. Overall, I would love to visit this place again.
One of best restaurants ofc on Pandara Road and We Ordered a Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan and it was good. Paneer Tikka was juicy & succulent.

As good as it always was. Pindi is unarguably the best Indian mughlai cuisine restaurant in Delhi. It still maintains the old world charm though the interiors have been done modern. Mr Wadhwa welcoming guests at the door is such a pleasant sight. I keep going back for the butter chicken, which is the best. Perfect for a weekend lunch. Will keep coming back. ❤️

Chicken Munchow soup 2.5/5 - very bland and watery
Chicken tikka masala 4.5/5 - excellent masalas (gravy) and tender chicken
Garlic naan/roti 3/5 (average - not too good, not too bad)
It's good place to eat , food is good and portion size too. A bit crowded on weekends but still if you wait for a while you'll get a table , overall pandra market has its own vibes and Pindi blends with it .

One of the oldest and reputed restaurant in Pandara Road. Food taste were equally good as Gulati Restaurant opposite to it.
Staff was friendly and even wearing proper masks.
It costs us INR 6900 for 2 couples and 2 kids below 6 years which includes non veg dishes of 3 Snacks, 1 Platter, 1 Main course along with Breads and 3 mocktails & 4 soft drinks.

Good place to dine out. Very very old place loved by many since their childhood. Only issue is too much congested. Even Management interference if you take your hand quite long as it reaches the table behind you. Need of hour demands to reduce tables. As at exorbitant rates you require comfort zone too. Should be taken on a serious node.
Decent family restaurant, taste is good but not exceptional.
Tandoori chicken was quite bland, rest butter chicken was good and so were the rotis.
Visited on a Sunday, heavy rush. They have tried to squeeze in more people per square foot by putting up 3 more tables.
It's very very expensive. Normal person can't afford. Kadai chocken half cost was 599 and kadai chicken half cost was 599. One tandoori roti Rs.85.
Ordered hot n sour and vegetable clear soup. Soups were downright bad. Too much cornflour and no taste in either one.
Veg seekh kebab was good and a must try. Aloo taka tak were average. They were sweet and too much filled.

Pindi chole were one of a kind. This is a must try dish. Please note this was spicy with green chillies .
Paneer butter masala was good too but not a must try. This too had small green chillies spiced.
Garlic naan was soft and delicious. Tandoori roti was average. So was the butter one.
Masala papad was very spicy capable of making your taste buds deads and causing a headache.
Had gulab jamun and butter scotch ice cream in desserts. Gulab jamun was very very sweet but the ice cream was good.
Ambiance was average. Orders were served well and on time. Service was good.
Though the tables are placed close to each other and there is very less space to get inside.
