The chocolate mud pie, ginger lemon honey tea, a book about the mountains and some familiar music from the bygone era - most evenings at sakleys have had these elements and I've loved them all. Its a special place. :)

Hidden away on the first and second floors, this place is a different world. The decor will take you to the mountains, the food and cocktails are terrific and the rooftop is a holiday in itself if you visit on a breezy day or ona winter morning. You have to try their burgers, they are huge but soft and will blow your mind!

Happened to visit this place twice with the same set of people, so technically speaking thats a LOT OF recommendations put together in one! Its bliss really. Specially in a fully crowded M Block Market! Its hard to imagine what you will find going up despite its name. Super pretty interiors, a whole range of options for drinking and food, very courteous staff, an intangible sense of fine dine, romance and warmth in the air: yup you get the whole package! Tried a lot of stuff here but their mulled wine is the BEST! You have a reason to go out even with a sore throat cause I swear it works better than chicken soup. On the food front, had the basic fries and garlic bread for starters, and some variants of vegetarian pizza and pasta for main course. The chocolate eclair was the cherry on top !
Highly recommended for special occasions and for catching up with that high nosed NRI friend ! :D

If you want to visit a place wich has excellent ambiance and food, this place is a must visit. The decor is classic hilly. The wooden featured interior feels cozy. Winter's is the time you must visit once. The good is lovely and the staff is very helping.

We got a complementary starter- the bruschettas. They were quiet good! The pizza we ordered was amazing however the sizzler tasted too much of rock salt. When we expressed our concerns, the staff was extremely courteous and gave us a complementary dessert. We were planning to order the panacotta but because of the complementary dessert we decided not to as we were already full! Great Ambience, good food. A Must visit.

One of the best places we have visited! We can't really stop telling people how wonderful this cafe is, not only designed with a hillside view and furniture but also the food. The staff there is soo friendly and they even welcomed us with some bread snack which was soo delicious. What we ordered was white sauce chicken pasta which was filled with soo many chunks of chicken and we couldn't really get our hands of it, and also the huge pizza which we could even finish, but it was too delicious. One must visit the place

It's such a beautiful Cafe in GK1. The Nachos were delicious and freshly baked. It's a little on the expensive side but since they have gold it's a little better. Also they have huge serving size so it's filling enough. Amazing sangrias one of the best in Delhi. Pizza was a lil average though. Overall ๐its a pretty place for a candle light dinner.

Mixed Sauce Pasta- This is The Best Pasta I've ever had in a cafe! The flavours so adequate. The balance between red and white sauce, so perfect! You've to try this thing once you're here. Highly recommend! ๐ฅ

My absolute favourite place in the Delhi and Nainital (where the original Sakleys cafe is based)! The ambience, the music, the menu, all of it makes you want to fall in love with this gorgeous place. For mains there are three dishes that I absolutely love- the slow roasted pork belly, which comes on a bed of olive mashed potatoes, basically heaven in your mouth, the second is the porch chop sizzler, which again is beautifully done alongside some rice, creamed spinach (yum yum) and jacket potatoes with lovely sour cream. All of these flavours play together perfectly. Third would the mushroom ravioli, get this, Iโm the sort of person who always makes fun of vegetarian friends, but this is hands down the best ravioli Iโve had in Delhi- comes in a beautiful marinara sauce. The bacon burger and chicken pot pie are also pretty good. What to stay away from - bacon wrapper chicken (nothing great), white sauce pasta (pretty bland), strawberry fields cake (tastes somewhat artificial), nachos+ fried chicken (ordinary).
Their drinks are superb- the various sangrias are so luscious but my personal favourite would be their mulled wine that they served me a sample of, it was beyond words!!
In dessert- I have two favourites: the tiramisu and the apple crumble ( which by the way is FRESHLY BAKED)
A wonderful winter evening with your friends and loved one. One of the most fancy and pretty cafe's i have been to in a while. Loved everything- the service, the vibes, the food, the ambience -terrific!
Loved their Basa in lemon butter sauce and lascivious cocktail. Coffee was awesome and well brewed.
Prices are on high side but worth spending.

I just have something for lights. It always sets up my mood.
Very few things could be as comforting as this place is,fresh flowers and a windowside table in a wooden cabin. I must say that cafe Music and Mountains does a tremendous job of bringing a hillside cafe to your neighborhood.
Now you know where to go on your next date. Yes, this is the happy place where you have a candle night dinner with the love of your life.

Burger and fries are the best combination ever. ๐ That's what we had here. They have got these kickass burgers which makes your mouth super full in a tiny bite of it. Its instaworthy and perfect for your romantic evenings too.They have candle light arrangements. I loved the rose that they keep at each table.
The fried chicken and steal was outstanding so were the coolers.

This place is in delhi but yet it feels like you are far away from the city noise and hustle. Located in the lush green area of Greater Kailash, this place provides the best ambience and an experience closest to the mountains. Maybe this is your few hours getaway to the mountains, when you have less time and more hunger. The food is to die for, the hot chocolate, the northern lights pizza, the mushroom sliders. The play is spread in two floors, we opted for first with a separate section different to area where they had live music.
They got great menu to choose and dishes were offbeat with competitors.
This is one of the best places if you are looking for romantic candle light dinner. The ambience and the setup is just lovely and you tend to enjoy your food more with the right company.The lower section is a steal, much better than the top floor section which is a little darkly lit.

The staff is so lovely. And the music selection is great that is pleasant enough to enjoy and not loud enough to disrupt your conversation. I loved the cottage cheese sandwich with pesto veggies, one of the best burgers ever. The pancakes with whipped cream was great too though I wonโt mind the whipped cream to be a bit more fluffy and less flat. We also got some free finger food as we waited for our meal, thanks for that!

I like to speak from the perspective as a foreigner and how foreigners would experience the ambiance and cuisine of an establishment. In respect to Music and Mountains, I would expect every foreigner OR any NCR resident who has ever traveled abroad to a country cottage restaurant with its old fashioned charm and great cooking in the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada to come to this restaurant and experience this wonderful place. We started off with the best Nachos for the kids followed by lovely Pumpkin soup along with an authentic French onion soup complete with the cheese toast to dunk. Meanwhile, in the background we had a fantastic singer with acoustic guitar and harmonic singing a lot of the Bob Dylan classics! I believe the name is woody acoustic project. We then had an juicy (but almost unheard of in Delhi at least) seasoned roast chicken and the most tender mouth watering braised lamb shanks on a bed of mashed truffle accented potatoes that were simply absolutely mind blowing! Meanwhile we casually flipped through the pages of a book on English country villages as we enjoyed a Pinot and beer on tap. Finally, after being very full, was tempted by a Slice of carrot cake which was just Devine. I honestly felt like I was time warped to another country akin to my Australian home for an afternoon. The place is amazing, food was also good and staffs were very courteous... My friend dropped his knife and even before asking the waiter gave him a fresh one.. ambience is very romantic each table is having a rose and candle , you will get perfect candle night vibe...we did reservation through Zomato gold so our pocket pinch was very less. They gave us complimentary bruschetta and one dessert. We had a lovely experience , will visit again for sure.

Wonderful ambience and friendly staff. We took avocado mousse chicken salad with mountain greens and bourbon bacon bruschetta with parmesean and honey. The salad was fresh and smooth whereas the bread and the bacon in the bruschetta was perfectly crunchy and honey provided the right amount of sweetness to the ensemble.
The slow roasted pork was nicely cooked, the meat was not falling apart but was really soft to chew. The honey and mustard balanced each other perfectly and the crunchy greens went aptly against the meat texture. However, I felt that the base of the mashed potato was a little less in terms of flavour and some fresh herbs could have been added to sparkle that extra bit of flavour.
To sum up, I'm just waiting for my next visit.
Quite extensively priced ...I was here with friends for lunch on Christmas eve. The preparations were all well done...the cocktails were all bang on...so was the sizzler and the rocket leaves caramelized walnut salad. They did a saute veggies upon request..which was nice.....the bruschetta was suspiciously sweet..either with honey or sugar don't know !!!

This place give Landour Mussoorie kind of vibe in GK , New Delhi. The cafe is located on the top floor and as soon as you enter, you would get the old school, british cafe vibe. The interior is all woody. When we visited it was raining outside and the environment inside was all warm and cozy. They give complimentary bruschetta. It was good. We ordered waffles. The staff member asked our feedback. We said we didnt like it as much. To our surprise, he brought us another dessert on the house. That was a great experience.
Went in at late evening hours, this cafe gives one teh luxury of visiting till 12 in the night. The crowd is a mixed one, from married couples and families to dating college goers. It advances a unique sense of privacy in its 80s Hollywood music and the dim chandelier light. It's menu has many options for both veg and non veg poeple. We ordered from vegetarian cuisine. Purple Rain and Ginger ale were for drinks. Medium spicy red sauce pasta and veg nachos were from the main course and snacks. Pasta and nachos were great. Nachos had a good quality cheese topped with beans ... handcrafted by them. If you like a sharper taste for beverages, then tell them to add an extra pump of flavour because originally they are mild.
The atmosphere is nice, staff is polite and the food is good. I had ordered for a berry smoothie , it was served with blueberry syrup since berries were not available otherwise everything was up to the mark.

Was looking for a cafe to have some lunch and enjoy some reading. Saw this on Google and decided to try it out. Turned out to be a little late pricey but the food was amazing, excellent service and saw a famous TV Actor Mr. Pawan Malhotra there. So you can meet a celebrity if you dine here.
Loved the hilly rustic feels here. Actually felt like a cafe in the mountains,each and every element was so well chosen and place is beautifully designed. Tried Mushroom Ravioli and loved every bit of it. Even the drinks and desserts are quite impressive here. Top notch service,the staffs are quite polite and helpful if youโve any query at all in the menu or about the dishes,they are very well awared.
