Jamun Chicken 66 had a very interesting taste
Jamun Kulfi with the freshly grated Himalayan salt was delightful as one bit into Jamun pieces (thank God it didn’t have added sugar)
To end the meal you get to choose from an assortment of imli laddoos orange goli Kala khatta goli and different flavoured saunf
I loved the fact that they use copper plates glasses and Jug - as per Ayurveda Tamara jal (water stored in copper vessel) balances all 3 doshas (kapha vata pitt) and improves our ph balance
The retro Bollywood songs playing in the background add to the charm
Easily accessible to physically handicapped and elderly people plus the food specially the VEGETARIAN FARE is delicious! Must have their bharwan Gucchi in appetisers and Ditch the daal Makhani for Daal pachmel in main course. Don't forget to end your meal with their signature jamun kulfi ! It's worth every bite :) I liked vegetarian course over the non veg items :)
It was simply a palate fiesta for my wife and me ! The Jamuni ambience, the amazing staff and the fantabulous regional food leaves one with a feeling of utter satisfactions and almost a food high Many thanks Team Jamun for bringing these tastes and experiences to us Kudos
Jamun, nestled in the quaint neighborhood of Lodhi Colony, is a delight to look at. Even though the prices are pretty steep, the ambience, the butter chicken, the assortment of kebabs, papads and to wash it all down with Jamun Kulfi: is quite an experience in itself!
Nestled in a quite market of Lodhi Colony, this place is a gem if you’re looking at a quality family fine dining experience. It really comes across a much more sophisticated version of Fab Cafe. The underline theme is the Indian culture and they have tried well to cover all cuisine options.
The food no doubt was delectable. The portion size was just apt to suffice a person (talking about the large plates). The pricing is high but again you pay for the refined crowd and quality :)
Nice place , delicious food we ordered paneer tikka gravy & Ker Sangre kofta.staff was also attentive
Consistently fantastic food. Almost everything is good - bar the Goan curries.
The moily, the Mutton roast and the tomato Bharwa chaat are fantastic
The Kerela Chicken curry was on point but the Laal maans was kind of flavourless. Liked the overall ambience and staff. There’s room for improvement in quality of food.
We were a party of 3, and came for an afternoon dine in during Corona.
The food was absolutely brilliant. the mutton was so succulent and soft, the butter chicken to die for and the goan pork fry was just exquisite!! unfortunately alcoholic drinks were unavailable but they had a variety of mocktails to choose from.
the service was greaat!
simply loved jamun.
Would dine in here again and again.
Beautiful ambience with courteous staff.I had tried Bharwan guchchi in appetizers and it was absolutely delicious and then for the main course i tried paneer makhni and dal makhni with crisp garlic naans very well cooked and served.i would definitely like to give Jamun some more visits.
Papad with different sauces given in beginning is perfect fit with restaurant name. So delicious and every sauce has unique flavour.
Also loved sauf tray given after finishing. So colorful and tasteful. Loved butter chicken and prawn curry.
If you’re looking for the best Indian Regional Cuisine this is one restaurant not to be missed... Each and every dish is impeccable whether it’s their kala khata cooler or their mochar chop or mutton curry or soft shell crabs or yellow dal or dal makhani... and the best part is when they pamper you with a whole basket of variety of papadums... Also they come up with different themes almost every weekend to bring the speciality of a certain state or to celebrate a particular festival... so you don’t have to travel across India to find the best food... the buck stops at Jamun 😃
Totally Loved the Food .. The place was packed Please call the restaurant and do reservations The food was too Good and the ambience to .. The Manager Sahil was helpful and a special Thanks To Vinod Bisht
Will love to visit again when in Delhi
Mixed Saag chat
For appetizers, I chose this one because I had a very different expectation from Saag appetizers. This is a very beautiful recipe. Mixed Saag and extremely healthy, crispy and very savoury. I love this one.
Mutton ghee rost
Mutton and ghee, the royal combination tasted royal best. Nice and tender succulent pieces of mutton, roasted in ground spices and dunk in the aroma of ghee, this one is divinic.
Appam
This is a traditional Malayalam rice bread. It is fluffy and light, goes well with Puttu or Chana curry or even any nice spicy non veg main course.
Mango Dal
What an experience, the tangy tasteful flavour of the Mango which is very nice and consistent. I love the flavours and the slow cooked Dal.
Telangana Mutton curry
Traditional mutton but very homely and tastes well with rice or bread. This is a classic, juicy pieces of mutton in the gravy that has a South Indianness to it with its spices and herbs.
Kerala red rice
This was very pleasant and experimental with its treatment of the red rice. Long grains and has a very fresh fragrance.
Jamun Kulfi
My favourite would be this one. Absolutely a winner in a cold sticky Kulfi which is made of fresh Jamun flavours.
JAMUN,. Lodhi colony
Situated in Lodhi colony main market JAMUN is successfully able to create its own niche.
At first sight the restaurant will justify its name Jamun. Setting in purple and mauve background the sitting arrangement of this place is appreciable. Its ambience gives you a soothing feeling as long as you stay here.
There are plenty of veg and non veg starters. Among those we tried crispy saag chat and ghee roast mutton with Tangy Twist mocktail and mango shikanji. We have tasted some appam with ghee roast mutton. Crispy saag chat was really mouth watering and ghee roast mutton with appam was surely complementing
each other. Tangy Twist mocktail will give you a flavour of fresh fruit juices and the grated mango slices in shikanji will definitely satisfy your expectations.
We tried mango dal which is a combination of south indian Sambar and Bengali aam dal. The tangy flavour of dal was nicely merged with sweetness of mangoes. Credit goes to the chef. We had telengana mutton curry which had a smokey flavour. Both the dishes were tried with appam, hand made chapati and Kerela red rice.
At the end we closed our appetite with awesome jamun kulfi and kheer with faluda. The Creamy flavour of kheer was really nice in taste. I must say the pieces of jamun in kulfi was very refreshing and it was really an innovative creation of the chef.
Behaviour of the staff is 5/5, ambience of the place is 5/5, taste of the food is again 5/5 in my opinion for this awesome place. All the best Jamun for your future endeavours.
Love Indian food , you cannot miss this place.
I am a mango and Appam lover, and this outlet served me both in one platter. The raw mango curry with appams is out of this world. I can have this now on any given day. A slightly sweet and tangy dish and u loved it. You can also order for more appams while having it.
Dahi kabab is one thing very few places get it right and this one did excellently , apart from that the Kulfi - Jamun that's their signature Kulfi as well, is a must have.
Loved the platter of papada and chutneys that they serve while you place an order. And this is the best time pass ever. They also retail a lot of pickles and spices and you can pick up 200 gm bottles and worth a buy.
Spent the Valentine's Eve at this pretty place last evening.... The place is situated at a corner of Lodhi Colony and is a quiet hideaway... The interiors have been kept rustic with the charm of Regional India.. So is the menu... Just loved their Jamun 65 and winter special appetiser Murg Parchae, a must have for sure... The main course was nothing extraordinary though we had ordered Butter Chicken and Jamun e Josh Mutton Curry with Pudina Paratha and Roomali Roti... The staff is very courteous and service quick... The papad basket and the churan served in the end was a major highlight... And so was the music being played all 90s peppy bollywood numbers.. Had an amazing time... Though the only drawback is the space which is too small and hence feels crowded when its full house...
I love Indian food and this place served me really well with regional food of India.
A place that I would love to keep coming back to for some amazing food and excellent service. Pink walls with bougainvillea Flowers on one side gives this place a close to heart Ambience as most of us had seen these flowers since we were kids.
I had Patta Chaat , Tamatar Chaat , Dahi kabab from the appetizers sections and probably this is the best Chaat I had at any restaraunt. Every dish had a beautiful description as to how it got to the menu and that's the beauty. You can read about the dish , where it is from and why it's on their menu so the choice of food becomes really easy.
If you love mango and appams without a second thought just order the Kerala's Raw mango curry with appams , a dish that's done with raw mango chunks and coconut milk is sweet and tangy goes really well with fresh appams. .
Dessert always defines the place. Going by the name Jamun, you simply can't miss Jamun Kulfi. I loved it.
Another thing we tried was Kulfi Faluda, at the look of it we felt it's like too much but as we started having it , it went off the dish in a flash and I couldn't believe we actually finished.
Delicious food and outstanding service. A must visit place.
The food here is very tast and exquisite. The quality and the presentation of the dishes is top notch. The mocktails were unique and the kababs were amazing. I will surely visit the place again.
The restaurant has a vintage vibe with a tint of pink-purple to everything, hence Jamun.
Jamun kulfi is one of the main attractions at the restaurant. It tastes best with the Himalayan salt they serve. And it's 100% worth a try.
The food is great, however, slightly overpriced.
Overall ambience - 9/10
Food- 9/10
Value for money- 8/10
Best regional Indian food with a huge menu that covers dishes from areas like Kashmir, Bengal along with Rajasthani, Chettinad, NWF, etc. Bold and amazing flavours!
The most authentic Indian fare you can get. Their appams and stew, mutton ghee roast, butter chicken are all to die for. I will be coming back very often.
Everything was perfect! The complimentary papad with a multitude of chutneys, such amazing variety on the menu on both drinks and food, courteous helpful staff and amazing ambience. The food we ordered was too good. Had a great time!
Advisable to book a table before going. Usually have a long waiting.
I have been to this restaurant 6 or 7 times already, and I keep wanting to go back for more! From the ambience, to the mood, the service, and quite notably, the food, everything about this gem of a place make me happy.
Tucked away at the location where Tres originally was, this quaint restaurant is a foodie's delight.
Whether it is the Jaipuri Crispy Bhindi, or the Raan with Korma Gravy, each dish brings a smile to my face, and whole lot of happiness to my stomach.
I would recommend Jamun to everyone.
The icing on the proverbial cake, for me, is that Jamun offers one of the best Mulled Wine the city has to offer!
This is a fine dining restaurant located in Lodhi Colony and the service was really good. We were seated well and served with their complimentary papad platter. The starters we ordered were palak patta chaat and dahi ke kebab and both were really good. Palak patta chaat was crisp and the sweetness of dahi added to it’s flavour. Dahi ke kebab was very soft and I loved it! The drinks were tangy and refreshing. The best part of the meal for us was the dessert, garam garam gajar ka halwa.I’ll definitely recommend this place to anyone.
I recently visited for lunch and had chicken tikka masala and lal maas with garlic and pudina paratha.excellent food & saff service .i would recommend food lovers for visiting once
I visited this place recently and the experience was wonderful. Very simple yet classy ambience and the staff was prompt and courteous. We ordered palak patta chaat, dahi ke kebab, sarso ka saag aur missi roti. Everything was really well presented and taste was so good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fine dining experience..!!
What a beautiful experience it was being here. Everything I tried was over and Above my expectations I would love love love to visit them again. Their hospitality was up to the mark and their staff is kind and humble. The ambience was of Jamun colour and it added to the vibe. The music that they played was exceptionally adding to the delightful mood.
Warm cozy vibes and delicious food. They made my day and added meaning to the colour of Jamun in my life. Must try.
jamun is a regional eatery and bar which truly defines how rich Indian culture is.
The restaurant has this vintage vibe with a tint of purple-pink to everything, hence jamun.
You'll love the ambience with late 90's songs playing. People are warm and welcoming. Coming to food, I tried daal tikki and guchi for starters which was much enjoyable.
For main course, we went with Daal makhni, so rich and creamy, Marwari chicken and Veg biryani. Main course was delicious, thr best part still remains the desert, jamun kulfi is to die for!
And they serve, custard with mango rubari and ice cream, it's heaven.
definitely try it. it's ideal for lunches family or dates.
This restaurant is among my recent favourites in town although I do wish it was priced slightly more reasonably, which would have allowed it to be a more regular haunt.
I'd first skip to the end and suggest that their desserts are a must-try, especially the Mango Rabri (available only during the summers). We have also tried their normal Rabri with Faluda, the Passteis De Nata with Cinnamon Ice Cream, as well as their Jamun Kulfi, all of which are excellent as well.
Coming to their Mains, I am a fan of their Daab Malai Curry. The Laal Maas and the Andhra Chicken Roast also make for a good meal. For the vegetarians, we've loved their Dahi Kebab in the appetisers.
The manager as well as the entire staff here delivers excellent service. What adds to the experience is the level of the personal involvement of the manager himself, who always greets and serves all visitors with a genuine smile.
Love to keep going back to this place.
Pritika Malhotra
Excellent Food - Very well prepared and they took care of even small peice of instructions.
Ambience- Cute little restaurant with very soothing interior and atmosphere.
Service- 10 on 10 for Quick and efficient staff. Sahil from staff took care of everything and made sure that our group dining was perfect.
THANKS ALOT TEAM JAMUN.
I went to Jamun with my family for lunch. The ambience was very traditional and gave a very good feeling. The staff was very polite and nice. Their manager was managing things properly and was even asking us if we need anything. After that we ordered some drinks and starters, before our order they served us a big complementary snacks plate with assorted dips and the dips was truly amazing and flavourful. In snacks we tried their lamb chapli kebab and in main course .Their paneer makhani every dish was made perfectly and had nice balance of flavours and in desert their mango rabri it was very tasty altogether their food and ambience was perfect you must give this place a try if you wanna try some amazing food.
I went to this restaurant with my family we have tried their alot of things and honestly everything was perfectly made each and everything was made perfectly the food was altogether very yummy and flavourful, if you visit must try their lamb chapli kebab . I liked their traditional style of serving and the staff was also very good awesome place to visit with family.
the butter chicken was very nice it had the Effort of smokeyness in the chicken .the gravy so so smooth like butter .i realiaed this the way i would like my type of butter ckicken (chicken itself was cooked very soft ).had malabhar pharatha, it so flakey ☺️ it was perfect . had mango shekangi, there was and efferot of adding mango stings type garnish whith added indian spices love it . had jamun kulfi with added rock salt (there is red colered pouch with rock salt in it on the table ). professional staff service . also it was busy with 5 tables occupied i went on saterday .i will came back here .
Had heard about Jamun a lot and as Last week I was in Lodhi colony decided to visit it with a dear friend.
Cosy vibes and awesome ambiance they have.
Warm hospitality. The servers help you with what you want to order.
We had masala thumbs up and aam panna. Dahi ke kebab is a killer. Lal maas was our favourite. Go for jamun kulfi or gulab jamun in desserts.
Prices are affordable. Quality of food is exquisite.
The place leaves you with a lot to come back for.
Got foodie goals?
Jamun in Lodhi colony market is a must visit place. It's a small place serving yummilicious Drool worthy regional food.
Some must try dishes are-
Mango shikanji
Rose petals ginger ale
Tangy twist
Gahat dal ki tikki with bhang ki chutney
Dahi kebab with mango chunda
Paneer makhani
Pindi chole
Laal mass
Mishti dahi
Kulfi
The restaurant is easy to locate. The rates aren't heavy on the pocket. The quality and presentation is top notch. Flavours are matchless and service is impeccable.
Impressive in each way. Must visit.
The place is sort of a hidden gem. The ambience is great for a conversationalist. Light music (old bollywood songs). Great staff. The menu is limited but its tasty. I found the prices to be on a bit higher side. We had a normal dinner with no fancy items and paid around 8000 Rs (without alcohol).

The ambience, the music and the quality of food are just the best concoction for a great evening out with friends and family. My most liked dishes were: Appam with kerala raw mango curry and bharwan gucchi
This is a royal looking restaurant with beautiful sitting arrangement. Nice interiors and excellent ambience. We tried their Kalmi kabab, Lamb chapli, Paneer makhani, Garlic naan and butter naan. Every dish was authentic and wonderful taste. I liked their cutlery and Presentation of food. Very nice service and very smart and uptodate staff they had proper understanding of every dish and customer liking. They know how to treate a customer. I really enjoyed my Lunch in this restaurant. I closed my lunch with Mango Rabari. I tasted mango Rabari first time, it was very unique in taste and had nice texture and very appealing. I enjoyed it entirety. Somebody wants to have authentic and quality food one must visit this place.
As the name goes, one can find the essence of Jamun everywhere, be it the walls or the furnishings or the aroma.
Love it COMPLETELY.
coming to the Food,
Appetizers#Had Dahi Ke Kebab#fairly good# same needs little improvement
Main Course#Kerala Raw Mangoes with Malabari Paratha@Amazing
Paneer MAKHNI# TRULY MADLY AUTHENTIC and amazing.
Breads need improvement.
Jamun is a one-of - a-kind cafe. This eatery gives you an amazing atmosphere and the ambeince is excessively good with pink and purple coloring as jamun, their playlist even includes old melodies. Sustenance here is tasty and delicious uncommon dahi golgappe, pindi chole, faluda and jamun kulfi. I had an amazing time here and loved their administration.
The food was excellent and so was their service. Also i booked a table via dineout and they messaged me separately informing regarding the same. Overall loved the experience of dining in their cute and tiny restaurant.
Good place to get a quick bike. I visited with my office colleagues and all were happy with the staff and the food ordered. Well visit again.
Loved the food, drinks and dessert. Tried goan curry and appam in non vegetarian. In vegetarian, had a unique kofta stuffed with paneer. Had their Portuguese custard tart with cinnamon ice cream for dessert. The warm custard, crispy tart and the ice cream were a great combination. Even the drinks - aam panna and fresh ginger ale were great. Must try place! It had a unique and delicious menu.
Decent appetizers, great main course. Patte ki chaat and chicken tikka masala here are a must. The food coupled with a great ambience made for a perfect Delhi evening.

Very courteous staff. Quick and tidy service. Amazing food and mocktails. The best part was that everything from the papads to rotis was fresh. That's rare in restaurants these days! Great place. The menu has something for everyone.
cozy and small place with some interesting twist to the drinks. Great experience. Portions are small for the price. Would recommend purely for experience.
It's a small place with minimal sitting but the food is scrumptious. We went with bunch of friends and tried almost all the items. Each of them were delicious mutton ghee roast and chicken 17.
The feel of the place is good and also is the chef.
Thanx
Very old school themed restaurant, with a modern day take on Indian dishes. Must have the Butter Chicken, Jamun-e-Josh. The mango shikanji, jamun sharbat and aam panna are tasty and summery.
Nice ambience .. great music.. old hindi song lovers must visit .. coming to food .. great presentation , quantity and flavours., plus their complementary papads are awesome.. only drawback ,Guys kindly get the liquor license renewed!!🤪 otherwise try the jamun sharbat.. great drink
Now this one is a jewel, a masterpiece and an experience! Jewel for the menu selection, carefully picked courtesy bowls (range of papads) , served before the entrees will help you forget the cooking time, while old school music and the ambience will swoosh in as whip of fresh air. Lamb dishes a must try!!!
The restaurant was cozy and perfect. The food was awesome and the service was prompt. The staff was courteous and good. The ambience was Jamuni is what I'd say. The jamun kulfi is a must try. Reminded us of our childhood days when we used to have jamun with rock salt.
It’s a tiny, quiet place in Lodhi colony. At least that’s what it looks like from the outside. Inside, it’s a beautiful, rich Indian experience coupled with violet and lavender themes. From the utensils to menus, the restaurant gives consumers a delightful, authentic Indian experience. As we sat in the restaurant, we got complimentary papads from different regions of India. For starters, we had ordered patte ki chaat along with jamun sharbat, jaisalmer juan, kala khatta, and Pineapple Express. For main course, we enjoyed Malwani chicken curry and Kerala chicken stew along with appam and jeera rice. Although they have limited options for dessert, they were really creative in their serving of gulab jamun, mishti doi, and jamun kulfi. All in all, a good experience and will completely recommend the jamun kulfi!
Delicious comes to mind on mentioning this place. A must visit for every foodie or even non foodie in town. Can't pick any 1 thin gfrom the menu any thing u order is good. Courteous and polite staff, very gud service and very warm and inviting decor
Beautifully decorated Indian food restaurant. The preparation of food is par excellence. Would definitely go back for another delicious meal. Do try the accompaniments. My favorites were Dal Makhni and butter chicken(a little too sweet for my taste). Staff was on point-courteous
and hospitable. The costs of the portions were a little higher than what they should be.
Amazing place,
delicious food and great ambience
Must visit restaurant
Totally recommended
Do try - Jamun ice cream in desert , rooh lemonade for drinks
We zeroed on Jamun to celebrate my brother’s birthday. Although we’d heard about the place from our friends, we weren’t too sure until we walked in. The ambience, the food, the staff, everything was on point! Old Songs were a pleasant surprise for parents! + 5 for that! Definitely recommended
Jamun was on my list for quite sometime now.
I loved their pretty ambiance.
The place is so beautiful.
It is a great place for a family outing.
The food here is very authentic.
Really liked their jamun juice/kaanji.
The staff is well informed and service is prompt too.
A Sunday afternoon lunch. A call to reservations got us a table pretty quickly for a busy afternoon. I was surprised at how friendly the manager and staff was. Quite casual actually. Was a breath of fresh air. The tables were cosy and we were served a utensil tower with chutneys papads etc which was succour as we hungry.
We ordered a bunch of things off the menu but what stood out was the Chili Goan pork with Poee.
Perfect and authentic - I have eaten this dish in homes all over Goa. It could not have been any better.
Kudos to the chef.
Going back soon.
Since we were a group of 6, there is too much food we ordered and it’s difficult from where to start exactly. I have bucketed into as much as I could. Hop on!
Food:
Appetisers: We ordered tamatar ki chaat which has its roots from street side Varanasi stalls and is absolutely drool worthy with right amount of spice and crunchy bhujiya. Gahat dal ki tikki with bhang ki chutney, tikki is good but bhang ki chutney is on a different level. Next up is pork chili fry with goan chorizo. This was my favorite on the table amongst a few others. Again perfect on spices. The best part here is that the food is high on spices and not just “spicy” which is often the case everywhere else.
Main course:
Veg - We called for a safe bet as recommend ker sangri kofte because we wanted to order kerela mango curry which ofcourse is tricky but I loved it. I’d recommend order one amongst a group since it’s sweet and difficult to consider as a stand alone dish but sure to give this a try. You could order appam with this, it did go along very well.
Non veg - Jamun’s butter chicken and lal maas. Butter chicken was great as always is but is spicy and we asked for a spicier version. But I don’t think I’ve had better lal maas than this. It is so soft unlike mutton being chewy mostly. Melts in your mouth the moment you have a bite. Don’t forget to order garlic naan, it’s so crisp.
Meetha: Yaa we had one of everything on the menu. Yup, that’s right! But do you recall aam papad from childhood stories? Then we’re on the same boat and order the best mango rabri with fresh mangoes and aam papad. Frankly everything was so good but this took my heart away!
Service: At some level I thought that the service was slow but no because when you order so much, a little bit of here and there is completely normal. Loved the service and they were on point with recommendations.
Ambience: Oh my god, it is such a pretty nook. It’s been painted to the perfect shade of jamun itself. Love love the decor. But something else made me skip a heartbeat very often, they play 80’s bollywood music. Oh my god, I could literally sit all by myself and enjoy yummy in my tummy humming those tunes.
Must try: Gahat dal ki tikki with bhang ki chutney, tamatar chaat.
Pork chili fry with goan chorizo, laal maas.
Mango rabri with fresh mangoes and aam papad.
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special bar drinks. The chef took care of all our needs and helped us in choosing some of his specialities.
The ambience was superb and the staff was very welcoming.
The place was beautiful, and the food was tasty except patte ki chaat. The service and the severs were sweet. Had a great time. The music can be better.
Firstly, restaurant is so stylish and fresh and awesome here food quality is also good service is so good restaurant is also, hygenic and fresh we orderd lots of food we visit this restaurant last week wid my friends
So going to this restaurant was destiny as where we wanted to go was closed and this was the nearest option open. It's a small set up but beautifully done. We ordered kalmi kebab, Jamun chicken 17, Jamun mutton josh, chicken hyderabadi birayni. Portions are small for the price although the food is delicious. Mutton Josh is highly recommended. Biryani was not dry which was not told before that was a disappointment.Another thing is the options were limited. In drinks we tried cucumber based mocktail and aam panna both were fantastic.
Amazing place in the heart, the name itself is so amazing so one can define the mouthwatering food & simple but lasting interiors. Fish & Desi ghee mutton is must try.Enjoy there amazing mocktails & cocktails.
Jamun is an extremely one of a kind café. this eatery gives you astonishing vibe and the ambeince is overly decent of pink and purple shading as jamun ,their playlist is additionally of old melodies. Sustenance here is tasty and yummy uncommonly dahi golgappe, pindi chole , faluda and jamun kulfi.I had an astounding time here and cherished the administration they gave.
It’s a rare find. I happen to go here after reading one of the reviews of a Zomato user and so glad that I came here. Built in a small scale, This place has nothing small about it, the grandeur, the colour, the table setup, the menu range and authenticity of the food nailed to its core.
I am guessing anything on the menu will surprise you if you are one of the Indian food lovers out there. It’s great for couples, family dinners and even for drinks as the menu is quite elaborate.
Do visit for stunning interiors and heartwarming staff.
Nice decor
Food is good and staff really helpfull
The best part is it's pocket friendly as well
Thank u for making our day
Will definitely visit again soon
Went there for dinner
Really nice small cozy place
Ambiance is really cool with soft music
Food was great and service also good
Love to visit again
Amazing place
We went there few days back with couple of friends
Love the ambiance , food is really tasty, staff is polite and quick
Thanks for the amazing experience ❤️
Quite small restaurant
Ambience - 8/10
Music - 8-10 ( though my mom and dad enjoyed it as they were old songs )
Staff -9/10
Food - 9/10
Patta chaat - 9/10 the paatta chaat was very crispy and was flavourful
Dahi kabab - 9/10 the kabab was quite soft and the chutney on the top gave it a tangy flavour
Dal makhni - 10/10 it was really very good
Jackfruit ki subzi - 8/10 was decent
And the breads were okay not so great
Drinks
We order 3 drinks all of them were good
A few days back we causally check into this place for dinner with a few friends. For the starters, we ordered Tamatar ki chaat and Mutton Sukka . It was served to us with papad platter which had 10+ varieties of chutney and sauces. Different kinds of papad were served and all of them were extremely crispy and tasted good.
Alongside, we ordered Dr. Sahib and Ruh-Lemonade for drinks.
Next, we ordered Dal Makhni and Malwani Chicken Curry with Garlic Naan and Basmati Fried Rice. Dal Makhni is a must when you visit this place, it is so heavenly that you'll want to come here again and again just for this.
Even the service was quite quick and the restaurant had a friendly atmosphere.
Quiet melodious Hindi old Hollywood songs in the background, this place is a hidden gem in the heart of Delhi.. Sumptuous delicacies authentically prepared ... Veg and non veg dishes both are equally as good as the menu..
Went for a nice dinner,it’s a small place with 7-8 tables..so the waiting can be long..it’s best to book a table beforehand..the food is amazing and so is the ambience, the servers are prompt and very courteous,we ordered tamatar chaat, ratalu tikki, jamun pooris, pindi chole, kala Khatta drink, mango shikanji..everything was amazing and tasty..well presented..would definitely be going back to try more things..
Outstanding! we went for an evening snack to jamun and loved it. Nestled in the lanes of Lodi colony, this restaurant transports you back to a lovely purple colored hue wherein food, service and ambience is lovely. We ordered the tamatar chaat and dahi kebab and they were amazingly good. We ordered the rose and mango drinks which were quite good too. Will go again to try the dinner menu.
Loved the ambience, food and everything about the place. A perfect place to have a nice family dinner. While each and EVERY dish was splendid, the fried pomphret (picture) in particular took our heart away as the taste was genuine seafood cuisine. The restaurant delivers the taste of every cuisine in its own unique way and doesn’t spice it up unnecessarily.
Quaint little place but the food is a big surprise. The menu is very different from typical Delhi restaurant menu. Each dish has its own flavour and character. Highly recommend the Prawns with Kasundi. The place is a bit congested, but the ambience is very relaxing.
We happened to visit the very famous Jamun finally. We had visited the one in Goa many times so our expectations were extremely high and we are happy to let you all know that it lives up to the expectation. We started our dinner with a lavish papad platter with interesting condiments in which the raw mango chutney and kasundi stood out the most. Next, we had our favourite coastal dish - Mutton Ghee Roast. Fabulous to taste, tender mutton pieces with the right amount of spice. We chose to savour the dish's flavour on its own without pairing it with any bread. We then called for the Jamun Chicken 17. The chicken pieces were crunchy, the seasoning was perfectly balanced and of course, it was extremely flavourful. We took a break from all that food and sipped on a refreshing gin cocktail infused with cucumber and mint. We asked our server with a pleasant smile, Chanchal Kumar to get our main course. A hearty Daab Malai Prawn Curry that we devoured with Malabari Parotta and Appams. A few extra points for its presentation as it looked as good as it tasted. The place was packed on Monday evening and we thankfully didn’t have to wait. Both the manager Ravi and our server were warm and hospitable. They took care of us and made an effort of explaining the roots and ingredients of each dish that was served to us. We were elated with our experience at Jamun, and we highly recommend each one of you to visit it!

I have always loved Jamun Delhi as well as Jamun Goa! 💜 The old school music paired with the Jamun colored walls, the sweetest staff, the copper dinnerware & glasses, and the authentic food make for the best meal! The Sunday Brunch with mehendi, paan & chuski, made my meal all the more nostalgic. Highly recommend the Lamb Kebabs, Masala Shikanji, Dal Tadka & Chicken Changezi. 🥘 A wholesome experience as always.
Loved this place!
Their hospitality is worth mentioning, the food is delicious, and even their speciality cocktails are amazing!!
The on-the-house Papad plate had some of best papads I've ever had😋
Excellent in terms of the ambience and food ! There were several things we tried out on the menu. What stood out for me was the Pork chilly fry with Goan Chorizo which was super succulent and flavourful. We also ordered their house special kebab and the Chakundar and Amaranth Galouti for starters which is more like beet root kebabs and what I found common between both the vegetarian and non-veg dishes is that the kebabs were incredibly soft, juicy with the spices cooked in perfectly. The highlight was definitely what we ordered for dinner- appam with Haleem, Pork Vindaloo and Raw mango prawn curry! I have only one word for the raw mango prawn curry- it is to die for!!! Don’t miss this out on the menu.I personally didn’t find the pork vindaloo to be distinctive and wouldn’t recommend it. It was a sharp contrast to the pork chilly we ordered. The Haleem was excellent too. Grinded to perfection, not too spicy, easy on the palette and a great balancer. Prices in Jamun are a tad bit on the higher side but it is totally worth it. We ordered a lot more than we came in for because as we kept trying their food, we knew we wanted more of it.
Interesting menu of tastes and flavor combinations with a pleasant decor. Add in fast attentive service, a definite repeat. The only thing I might alter is the rooh afza lemonade could have a little less rooh and more nimboo.
This place is amazing with a nice ambience and a talented bar tender who knows his drinks well.
The only weak point spotted is that they sort of lagged in cooking the snacks well.
I've been to this place twice now and both times the snacks ordered by us were sort of okayish in taste.
The main course is soo good, in fact I'm looking forward to trying the non veg dishes soon.
The service is super fast, they place some awesome retro songs and the staff is cooperative as well.
4 stars from my side.
